This character in the White House is doing everything in his powers to change the storyline and narrative from Jeffrey Epstein and the Epstein files. The man is literally threatening to go to war with Columbia, Mexico, and an innocent non-threatening autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. If you haven't heard of it already, you will be hearing a lot about Greenland over the next few weeks. He has already invaded Venezuela and snatched the leader and his wife so that his billionaire pals in the oil industry can take and exploit their oil. All of this to keep us from shining a light on Jeffrey Epstein and the nefarious acts that he could have committed with his pedophile pal. After all, in the eyes of many, being a genocidal warmonger and a Christofascist xenophobe is still not as bad as being a pedophile.
A few days ago a state actor from ICE shot and killed mother of three in the streets of Minneapolis. A tragic and unnecessary incident which could have been prevented if the officer had practiced some restraint. Whether the killing is justified or not is irrelevant at this point. The issue should be whether it was preventable. Newsflash: It was! Of course the one person in America who we know was happy about this tragic bit of news, is the aforementioned character in the White House. This horrific incident has eaten up the news cycle over the past days, and that's good news if you're trying to distract us from focusing on what is in the Epstein files. Mr. Trump's easily distracted and cultish sycophants can now find something else to cheer him on about. Whether its Somali immigrants stealing most of our federal funds, or Venezuelan drug dealers killing Americans with fentanyl (both lies, by the way), they need something, anything, to take their minds from the reality of this dystopian nightmare that we are currently living through as a country. They refuse to see it because they voted for this madness, and to do so would mean admitting that they were wrong. It would mean that they would have to live with the fact that voting for this man to be America's leader for a second time, might have been the worst mistake of their miserable lives.
Meanwhile, the character in the White House watches with glee as he plots his next distraction. He does this as we, the American people, and the people of the world, all hold our breaths fearing what will come next.
On a personal note, I am excited to be teaming with some new social media folks, who will be hopefully increasing the profile of my content and helping me to maneuver to some different platforms.

ReplyDeleteOkay, while the alleged menace of the Venezuelan drug dealers is virtually 100% lie, there is at least an element of truth to the fraud stories.
I am not talking about the Nick Shirley daycare center video. That is trash. Shirley is trying to follow in the footsteps of professional defamer James O'Keefe, the infamous propagandist who made a name for himself by video-recording interviews of various people hated by the right, and then selectively editing them to make them sound like they said damaging things they never did.
But there legitimately has been a fraud problem with some Minnesota state government aid programs. Scammers have stolen a considerable amount of money from a pandemic-era food program and a different housing program, among other thefts. While it will never be possible to guarantee government spending that will be absolutely free from waste or abuse (nor private sector spending, while we’re being honest), the amounts stolen here were above what is “normal,” and do indicate failures of oversight by state officials to prevent this. Tim Walz has already now been pressured into not running for re-election as governor over this mess.
With all that said, it looks like the Trump administration is now trying to weaponize a federal investigation into al of this for political gain.
1) It appears the Trump administration is likely trying to inflate the sums that were lost, in order to damage Democrats. They have alleged, for example, that the housing program could have lost half the total money spent, or $9 BILLION, to scammers. Minnesota Democrats have vociferously denied that the figure was anywhere near that big, and the idea that the scammers could have pulled that off seems extremely improbable, to say the least.
2) Many of these thefts do appear to have been organized by a fraud ring that includes a lot of Somalis. And, being the racist that he is, Trump is using this to “prove” that ALL Somalis are terrible and should never be let into our country.
So there’s both a real story about a real problem here, and there’s a fake story that Trump and his allies are going to try to tell. The whole thing is very murky and ugly.

And no Democrats have engaged in it. Organized crime rings were the ones who engaged in defrauding the government. Democratic politicians’ role in this was simply a failure to put in place the right processes to detect this was happening.
