I have seen discussions from engineers that have had problems with getting Open Office to work. They also need the docs to work in reverse. <br />When I was heavily using MS Office, I'd work on my files at work, school and home.<br /><br />Personally, I have yet to get the courage to install a version of Linux. Trust me, the first time around will not be a piece of cake. I don't like to tinker. I really want a computer to operate like a toaster.<br /><br />I suppose many other people feel as I do. He laughed at me and told me how utterly full of shit I was and I gasped then chuckled. He explained that if I really didn't want to support Microsoft, he'd build me a Unix box and install Open Office on it.
