I guess black folks are still feeling dissed after the folks in lily white New Hampshire pulled a Bradley Effect move on them. I mean just when we were ready to crown King Obama as our leader, A-merry-ca brings us back to reality. And every one seems so shocked that this could have happened. I mean wasn't Hillary down by double digits? They are calling this one of the greatest political upsets in history. It caught every one by surprise.....yeah well it didn't surprise me. And I suspect that quite a few of you reading this blog feel the same way.
The truth of the matter is that the more powerful Barrack's movement becomes, the more irrelevant angry and cynical black men like the field Negro will become. A-merry-ca could shut the field up tomorrow by rising above petty racial and gender politics and and embracing a truly unifying change in her politics. But it ain't happening; you know it, and so do I.
So you all are angry now, and you are turning on your first black Prez. Just read this from Donna Brazile:
" I could understand his frustration at this moment. But, look, he shouldn't take out all his pain on Barrack Obama. It's time that they regroup. Figure out what Hillary needs to do to get her campaign back on track. It sounds like sour grapes coming from the former commander in chief. Someone that many Democrats hold in high esteem. For him to go after Obama, using a fairy tale, calling him as he did last week. It's an insult. And I will tell you, as an African-American, I find his tone and his words to be very depressing..."
She was talking about BJ Bill of course, and her sentiments are being echoed by quite a few African American bloggers and others out there. Bill and Hilary Clinton can use code words with the best of them, and they know what buttons to push to bring out the racial bogeyman lurking behind every corner in A-merry-ca. And in case you were wondering, there is no gender bogeyman. Yes women have been discriminated against in this country, and they have suffered mightily at the hands of the all powerful white male. But don't for a minute think there is a fear of women out there. There isn't. But ask me if there is a fear of black men and you know what I will tell you.
So when I see columns like this one from a popular hometown columnist here in Philly, it gives me cause for pause. I really have to wonder what makes the white A-merry-can woman think that she has all of a sudden become the victim in her precious country. Memo to white women: You have nothing to worry about, next to house pets you are the most protected class in this country. So let's stop with the beat up on Hillary shtick. No one is beating up on Hillary. I know some people on the right think that she is a witch, but she still looks like a white woman to me.
Now I leave you with some comments left on the POLITICO'S blog after they (the commenters) read Donna Brazile's posts:
"Sounds like bitter loser pill Donna is what Carville is to HRC . . . race race race . . . "as an African-American" way to interject race into a non racial story . . . shut up! "

"Awe, I am such a fan of Donna Brazile (even at one point wanting to draft her as chair of the DNC) and I'm saddened that it seems like she played the race card here :-\ As a minority, that's depressing to me too Donna . . . "

"I ususally really like Donna, but she really played the race card on this one. Not cool. "
Posted By: Elizabeth January 08, 2008 at 08:17 PM
"Donna Brazile had an article in WaTimes yesterday that proves she writes about topics of which she has no clue. Her opening paragraph mischaracterized the economy of our country the past few years to an extent of embarassment. She's disgraceful for spouting such myths. Who can take her seriously, other than another myth-believing Bush-hater? And why above, is she bringing Bill Bennett into the fray? He's a highly principled man whose wife works in inner city Newark NJ schools to try to improve things, and Bennett would like nothing more than to improve the lot of inner-city blacks. DBrazile's a total farce. "

"Brazille is a racist and Bill and Hillary are your typical plantation master dems OB they dont plan of letting their slaves run the show. They make me sick. I am sick of Dems playing white against blacks and poor against rich. It is disgusting, but someone keeps voting for them. Just amazing. The Dem party is proof of how horrible the US educational system has become. You have to be drunk or an idiot to vote for any these conmen."
Posted By: jack January 08, 2008 at 08:37 PM "
"How pathetic that Brazile immediately has to resort to the hoary racism card to criticize Bill. No wonder the networks treat Obama with lamb skin gloves, they're all afraid of being called racists if they so much as show any criticism to Obama. His campaign knows this and they have benefited from a cowering media. Bill called out Obama on the falsies in his campaign, he never called Obama a kid, he simply said that Obama's claims were a fairly tale. Only in the mind of a professional race baiter can that be construed as racism. "

I lifted all those comments from the folks at POLITICO (Don't try to sue me, you will lose).
I hope you took the time to read them. They are quite revealing :)
A black person mentions race in anyway, and the masses of defensive whites respond by accusing them of playing the race card. But what this is is the race card-card.
ReplyDeleteWe are witnessing the state of race relations in America in 2008.
you might want to consider election fraud.Doesn't it seem odd that every single poll was completely off the mark?? you should check out http://www.bradblog.com for some interesting ideas about Clinton's win.love your site

ReplyDeleteJust a video on youtube...
So glad you mentioned how adept the Clinton's are with using "code words" (which often go over some folks head)...
ReplyDeleteWhat happened in NH is not surprising...it's a reminder, wake up call, and call to action
Hey Field,
ReplyDeleteThese liberals are no better than republicans. They get upset when Negroes do not follow them. Bill Clinton pulled a Sista Soulja moment on Obama in New Hampshire. The pollsters cannot believe that the very serious about their role people of New Hampshire(bs alert) would voted against the black man. The fever that Obama caused is by now a migraine because black folks are being snapped back into reality. Oh yes I remain cautious about all the Democrats and hate the republicans. When you evaluate Clinton and Obama and their voting records there ain't a hell of difference when it is said and done. There is no way in hell that Obama could deliver a progressive movement in American politics with all the controlling interests that would cash in their chips on him. Him and Clinton will govern from the middle almost Republican Lite and never from a progressive point of view. You notice if you listen real carefully Obama's health plan will cause no harm to corportations nor the medical industrial complex in this nation. Black people always remember if it smells funky it really is funky.
Actually, this white guy is far less afraid of Barack than I am what it says about the state of our politics that we may usher in a third decade of two family rule.
ReplyDeleteThis country is Rome, a couple of years before the Rubicon. A dying republic that isn't quite aware of it yet.
Yep... there is no doubt New Hamsphire women pulled a Bradley Effect. The Billary Clan with their snide remarks will no longer have my 2nd choice vote after this. I don't want another Dynasty in the White House. I'm voting Obama on Super Duper Tuesday because I believe he can change things. If Obama doesn't pull through, I'll vote for Edwards. The Clintons reeks of liberal racism. *Fudge* them!
ReplyDeleteHillary just cooked her duck with me for good after she tried to downplay MLK and his fatal sacrifice for the civil rights movement. (too many people must think he's some black superman savior like MLK, so let's discredit MLK too while we at it).
ReplyDeleteI don't even care to hear anything more about Hillary at this point.
http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0108/Clinton_and_Obama_Johnson_and_King.html
Sorry if you knew or talked about this already, I'm just working my way down your blog - backwards.
*clapping* @john's last statement...'this country is rome, a couple years before the rubicon. a dying republic that isn't quite aware of it yet'...well said...all the hoopla about this candidate and that candidate starts to be irrelevant with that in mind...
ReplyDeleteI hope you took the time to read them. They are quite revealing :)
ReplyDeleteFN, they are revealing, and they say a lot about Hill-Billy and their perception of white and black Americans.
Donna Brazile offered excellent advice to Bill, so it appears that she's wasn't totally disaffected when she made these remarks, although I believe she should have been.
Nevertheless, those that posted could see nothing but that, in their opinion, she had played the "race card," although that wasn't so.
Despite Obama's showing in Iowa, race consideration in this country is not dead, although there's no dearth of those trying to convince us otherwise, and are stepping up to punish us if we so much as suggest that it isn't.
Her complaint, as I read it, struck to the heart of Bill's infamous attempt to interject race into the fray.
We all know what the "fairy tale" remark referenced, whether Bill will own up to it or not.
He's saying that Obama (by virtue of being black) hasn't got a snowball chance in hell of becoming president.
And if he thinks so, and if white or black America think so, then they're living in a make-believe world.
Hillary on the other hand is the real deal, and is no "fairy tale."
She, and only she, as a Democratic Presidential hopeful, should be given this political plum, this brass ring, this "manifest destiny."
If you want a Democrat in the White House the next go around, you'd better stop flirting with this inexperienced, African American male (no matter how charismatic he may be, no matter how electrifying his speeches), and throw your hat into Hillary's ring.
"If you want a Democrat in the White House the next go around, you'd better stop flirting with this inexperienced, African American male (no matter how charismatic he may be, no matter how electrifying his speeches), and throw your hat into Hillary's ring."
ReplyDeleteYep, this is what BJ Bill was saying.
And the real scary thing about those comments is that there are much more where those came from :(
"This country is Rome, a couple of years before the Rubicon. A dying republic that isn't quite aware of it yet."

Well done well done! Her tears didn't do sh*t for me. I realize that she's a human, I always knew that about her. She's breathing isn't she? She was humiliated hasn't she? The problem is the MINUTE times get rough for this woman, everyone rally's around her. What the hell is a woman running for president if she can't lock it up and keep it tight. Just like your caption said, there's no crying in politics.
ReplyDeleteIt's only going to get tougher and it's only going to get worse. I don't doubt her emotion per se, I just think that it's BS that for a woman to move forward, she has to be a little, pardon my language, bitch.
Nevertheless, those that posted could see nothing but that, in their opinion, she had played the "race card," although that wasn't so.

That's the usual "attack of choice" when some white folks who live in social and political "stupidia" get told about themselves..........

ReplyDeleteYou're right on target!
"He's saying that Obama (by virtue of being black) hasn't got a snowball chance in hell of becoming president".

Now add: Give me a break!
I guarantee you there isn't a snowball chance in hell she'll get my vote if ever she runs again! Ever!
Donna Brazile...professional race baiter? Say it ain't so!
ReplyDeleteThose comments are truly revealing indeed. I anticipate the Southern primaries. The results of those will be very interesting...
I told my co-worker on Tuesday morning that Hillary sealed her victory when she shed tears. We women know how to exploit a bunch of suckers. lol
This is the race that will bring to the mainstream what most of us already know about the tensions between a number of white and black liberals.
ReplyDeleteShould be fun.

Argh. This country.

Actually, most of the polls got the level of support for Obama roughly correct--around 36-38 percent. What they got badly wrong was Hillary's level of support. And Obama won the male vote by double digits, nearly the same margin by which Clinton won over women.
ReplyDeleteSo, if it were a Bradley/Wilder effect, it would have to be largely localized to white women in New Hampshire.
that's what folks get for believing a white man was our "black president" -- Clintonian tactics is in their blood, all they want to do is win by whatever means necessary
ReplyDeleteIf Obama is not elected the Democratic Nominee, blacks should vote in mass for the Republican Party, it is not like 4 years of REpublicans is going to seriously hurt blacks anyway.
ReplyDeleteWhen the Dems loose and the exit polls come out some light bulbs might go off in some of the Democratic Party establishment in Washington.
Dyson teased out this sentiment last night on Chris Matthews. The "fairytale" remark was definitely code and both white and black people know it.
ReplyDeleteRealistically, voters don't elect people because of qualifications or experience...it's all about trust. That why people take it so personally when a prez f**ks up. People trusted Clinton and Bush but felt betrayed by how both conducted themselves in the Whitehouse.
I just don't have a good feeling about Hill. Her ambitions kept her with Bill after the drama. Young women like me find that to be a move the resonates with an older generation. She should have got it on her own. Most of my 25-35 yo female friends feel the same way.
Dragon,
ReplyDeleteI had the same idea if Hill gets the nod. However I think I'll vote independent; it'll have the same effect.
Redlipstick & Dragon
ReplyDeleteI'm thinking the same thing!
John Kerry just endorced OBama:
ReplyDeletehttp://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/2008/01/10/kerry-to-endorse-obama/
As much as the Democrats deserve to lose black support, the Republicans certainly don't deserve to gain it.
ReplyDeleteForget policy, helping to put a Republican in the White House means putting probably 1, and perhaps a few Supreme Court Justices on the bench, given the age of some of the current justices. That's too high a practical price to pay to prove a point.
It's just that I'm so angry about the---It's personal,It's my turn, I deserve the presidency, For Christ sake I'm Hillary Clinton..a white woman, I don't want to lose!
ReplyDeleteMajor eye roll...f%%% her!
Forget policy, helping to put a Republican in the White House means putting probably 1, and perhaps a few Supreme Court Justices on the bench, given the age of some of the current justices. That's too high a practical price to pay to prove a point.
ReplyDeleteExactly.
So basically it is better to keep on your knees begging liberal whites for handouts then run something because you are scared of sacrifice. It is obvious they don’t respect us. Power respects power. Power does not recognize begging and a$$kissing.
ReplyDeleteIf we break the Democratic Party and they realize they don’t have the demographics to win a presidential election they will respect black folks. It is that simple.
That attitude never changes anything, ever.
You can't change the game by playing the game you have to break the game and redo the rules in a more equitable manner.
"This is the race that will bring to the mainstream what most of us already know about the tensions between a number of white and black liberals."
ReplyDeleteYou are so completely wrong.
The liberal whites are with you. We don't want a triangulating Republican-lite in the Oval Office who never met a war she didn't like.
Many of us are with Obama. It's the older, more conservative Dems who are backing Hill 'n Bill.
If we break the Democratic Party and they realize they don’t have the demographics to win a presidential election they will respect black folks. It is that simple.
ReplyDeleteNow is not the time with the possibility of a Republican appointing two or three more Justices of the Scalia/Thomas mold.
Bill Clinton's tone was depressing simply because he was up there scowling and slamming, crushing Obama over the media's unwillingness to criticize him, which is not true.
ReplyDeleteHe was kicked around like a stray dog in the summer, especially for that "I will meet unconditionally with Iran and Syria" comment. I don't think Bill was being racist (definitely not on purpose, not very Clintonian), he was just being a Class-A Rectal Wart.
As far as the NH loss, race could have been a factor (in Iowa, people saw who others were voting for) but it definitely wasn't the only factor, and probably wasn't the primary one either. It could have been a combined effect of Hillary's stupid sobbing and Obama's general change message without any details getting a little tiresome. I know it's starting to sound dull to me.
Jimbo, With you on that. The family dynasty is pulling the older conservatives on this one. The liberals are mostly with Obama.
ReplyDeleteI was on the Dean bandwagon back in 2004, and Obama has a _lot_ of that crowd. Edwards second. Hillary? Zero.
"If Obama is not elected the Democratic Nominee, blacks should vote in mass for the Republican Party...."
ReplyDeleteHillary's got you covered.
What would you do if B'Obama fails his bid, and Hillary selects him as her vice presidential running mate, and he accepts?
"Hillary's got you covered"
ReplyDelete-----------------------------------
ahahahahaha
I needed that! Gives me a break from being so damn angry!
I was shocked that Donna Brazile actually opened her mouth to say anything, because I have been disappointed in the Black punditry class for the silence against Barack Obama and the racial insults. Outside of Eugene Robinson skirting the edges of the 'Uppity Negro' meme coming from the Clintons, nobody else has said anything.
ReplyDeleteI am disgusted by the White 'Progressive' Blogosphere, when Black people point out to the PATTERN of racial insults, and how our entire lives, we're trained to notice them because OUR SURVIVAL in America depends upon it - that we're told it's in our 'imagination'.
I guess it was in Brazile's imagination too? I saw way more in Donna Brazile's clip that just that isolated comment from Bill Clinton. White people may not ever want to believe it, but Black folk would literally be exhausted if they fought everytime that they saw a racial incident. What usually happens is that it happens time and time and time again, and then, there is something that just breaks the camel's back, so to speak. When I saw Brazile, I saw the compiling of the Clinton incidents.
And, considering that Brazile is from Louisiana, she understands COMPLETELY what Clinton's use of the word KID is...it's a first cousin to BOY. Bill Clinton was seeking to diminish Obama's accomplishments as a Black Man.
Believe me, don't believe me. Doesn't matter. But, White folk continuing to ignore what Black folk are seeing is never a good thing.
When 'Isolated Incidents' are neither ISOLATED nor INCIDENTAL..
they form a PATTERN.
The PATTERN says something.
Sheehan
Penn
The 3 resignations of the Muslim/Madrassa LIE
Bob Kerrey
The Charlie Rose Interview
The MLK insult
The Mandela insult
Country going ' backwards' (Hillary Clinton)
The 'Fairy Tale' & 'Kid' insults
And, another one this morning from Andrew Cuomo.- SHUCK AND JIVE.
SHUCK AND JIVE?
How come it seems as if, we repeatedly get these statements coming from Clinton surrogates, and then we're either given a phony apology, or we're told we 'misinterpreted' it.
English is the PRIMARY language of the Black community. We understand it when we hear it, and don't need anyone else to interpret it for us.
But, BLACK folk who point this stuff out, are using the RACE CARD?
I don't think so.
It's called standing up for oneself. White folk get to insult Black people and Black people are just supposed to stand there and take it?
We're supposed to just stand there, like Hillary's Handkerchief Heads, as she pulls this 3-6-9 on Obama and SAY NOTHING?
HELL NO.
Definition of "race baiter", any one that dares speak up and speak out against the institutional racism that plagues this country.
ReplyDeleteDefinition of "playing the race cared", calling out the institutional racism that is plaguing this country.
I heard Al Sharpton say he was playing the "race card" because it had been delt from the "race deck of cards." You gotta play the hand you are delt....
When the sh*% hits the fan, white folks will let you know how they feel about you which is what Bill did in making the fairytale commnet.
ReplyDeleteWhich gets me to my second point. Toni Morrison did us such a disservice when she promulgated this lunacy about bill being the first black president. I guess this fool was dumb enough to really believe it. Actually, I take that back. When it was convenient for him to be black to get the black vote, he was black. But when a real black man comes along as a real contender for the presidency he becomes the white man who reminds white folks that they should know damn well there is no chance in hell that Barack is going to win. So, he's telling them to stop b*&l shi*&ng and go ahead an elect someone from the establishment (a privileged WHITE woman). Membership (as a white person, albeit female) has its privleges.
@rikyrah: you're speaking the truth. true liberals are a minority. There's definitely nothing liberal about the Washington Post -- pretty centrist if you ask me. We definitely have to stay on top of what folks say, 'cuz like I said the Clintons will do anything to win.
ReplyDeleteThat fantasy comment by Bill irked the shit out of me. Let's hear what tune they're singing in South Carolina. . .
Homegirl cried on cue and all of sudden, she wins New Hampshire.
ReplyDeleteBrazile's remarks aside, I don't like manipulation, and she as good as admitted it on the "Today" show yesterday.
Which means she will do anything to get POTUS - I expect to find out after the election that she blew someone in her Senate office to make sure she wins, ala her hubby and Monica Lewinsky.
I'm more pissed off that John Kerry is demonstrating no loyalty to his former VP - and I hope if Obama gets the nod, he gives the VP ticket to Edwards, and cancel out Kerry and Clinton.
Face it, y'all, the fix is in. It will either be President McCain or Huckabee, because the ReThugs want Clinton, not Obama, as the Dem Nominee, and you will see Armageddon when that happens.
When the dust clears, it will be another ReThug in the Oval Office.
My only consolation is that the Congress will be more heavily Democratic, and maybe there will be enough grass-roots people elected to force out Reid, Pelosi, Hoyer, Schumer and Emmanuel as Democratic leaders who keep facilitating cave-ins to the Frat Boy, and keeping impeachment off the table.
justice58, I'm glad I made your day. You made mine.
ReplyDeleterikyrah, welcome back! Long vacation? Missed your posts.
Bill's familiarity with fair tale is no great surprise -hell, he no doubt knows all kind of tale. I just never pegged him as a fairy kind of guy .
ReplyDeleteYou know, Hillary is getting plenty of sexist bullshit thrown at her. And that's wrong and it sucks.
ReplyDeleteBut what's happening to her isn't even a patch on what's happened in this country for centuries to black men and women.
Anybody care to imagine what would be said if Shirley Chisholm were running for president today? Or if Barbara Jordan had made a run for the Big Chair? Hillary has it DAMN easy.
I feel torn about Obama. On the one hand, I think he's the right person for the job. On the other hand, I don't think he'd live through his first term. Too many crackers in high places and too many Kasper the Friendly Kleagles with high-powered rifles. I'm scared for the man.
That fairy tale speech is something else.
ReplyDeleteHere's another fairy tale: why are people like Bill Clinton and Gloria Steinem acting like Hillary's the only woman who will ever be worthy of our votes for president.
How asinine.
One of the best things about Barack Obama running for POTUS is all the fear and panic he is causing for so many people.
I hope they keep letting their well crafted masks drop --- I like seeing the ugly truth oozing out from underneath the rocks.
For the first time, I have sympathy for Monica Lewinsky -- I can only imagine the stuff Bill said to her about Hillary.
jimbo,
ReplyDeleteI have no doubt that you're "with black liberals." Please don't misunderstand me. I don't believe that black liberals back Obama and white liberals back Hillary. That's just wrong--it ignores the fact that there is multiracial support for both.
My point is that, as the race tightens and the stakes are raised, both candidates' supporters will make explicit the racialized and gendered subtexts of their disagreements (e.g. Steinem's recent NY Times piece).
White liberal condescenion and paternalism toward black people is still a problem. As are mainstream white feminists' antagonism toward black men and disregard for lower class women and women of color. A lot of black liberals (rightly) resent this shit, but this makes them highly suspicious of white liberals. Not recognizing or acknowledging these tensions is often a luxury of white privilege.
In any case, this stuff is going to be aired out in the next few months, and things are going to get very interesting.
My main problem with both the Bradley effect and Fraud as explanations is that in both cases I'd expect to see the variance between the exit polls and the results. At least CNN's exit poll was within roughly 1% of the actual vote, whereas their primary poll closest to the election was about as messed up as everyone else's.
ReplyDeleteI think that the best explanation is sampling error. Basically, each pollster creates a model of what class of people they think will vote in a particular election. They use this model to filter out who they think will vote and who they think won't vote, and (at least close to elections) tend to only report the former. The best way to construct a model is through historical data.
While the Republican side was very close to the primary of 8 years ago in terms of turnout (it was less than 1% off), the Democratic side had a turnout like a presidential election - not a primary. Simply put, a good chunk of people who weren't counted in pre-election polls actually did go and vote, and these "unlikely voters" had a decidedly pro-Clinton slant.
"Memo to white women: You have nothing to worry about, next to house pets you are the most protected class in this country."
ReplyDeleteAre you trying to pick fights with feminists, or do you not understand that this is equivalent to stating that white women have fewer rights than white men?
Or do pets now have the same rights as white men?
New Hampshire voting is handled by the infamous Diebold voting machines.
ReplyDeleteThey can be programmed to spit out any result their programmer desires and if the Secretary of State and Director of Voting wanted Miss Camel Toe to prevail, they could program an upset.
Call me paranoid but that's what I think.
Field, I don't think it's constructive to highlight battles between Black people and white women right now, because this is the fact: 75% of New Hampshire voters prefer a presidential nominee who is NOT a white man. If we focus on that, then someone who is NOT a white man may be elected president. If we lose sight of that, then another white man will we elected president and 75% of Democrats will be frustrated (including me!)
ReplyDeleteHillary has to say SOMETHING in her effort to be elected president, and everything she says, if successful, will have the effect of denying a Black man the presidency. So, it's natural that anything she says is going to piss us off.
But don't for a minute think there is a fear of women out there...Memo to white women: You have nothing to worry about, next to house pets you are the most protected class in this country
ReplyDeleteEchoing what Angry Feminist said, black people and women are not discriminated against in comparable ways. Yes, white women are not feared whatsoever. But being categorized a notch above house pets is a horrible prison to live in.
it's good to know ol'timers are vigilant about the codewords being spewed out of the Clintons' mouth - www.nytimes.com/2008/01/11/us/politics/11clyburn.html-- and have not problem speaking up. South Carolina is the state to watch.
ReplyDeleteLove this post, but I do take issue with one item: while society generally doesn't have a fear of white women (or women in general), women in our country have much to fear -- namely the men with whom they enter into relationships. Take a look at the murder & assault rates with female victims & you'll see why women are justifiably frightened.

ReplyDeleteDon't get too excited because Donna's freshly washed and pressed handkerchief was on her head today. She totally backtracked on The Situation Room today, saying that she didn't think Clinton was condescending and how much she loves the Clintons, blah, blah fuckety-blah.
Yep! Heard it too! Just enough to make you choke!
ReplyDeletePut her on the lawn..d%m%it!
I'm so sick of the sucking up & brown nosing!
GAAH!
'She totally backtracked...'
ReplyDeleteanon, she had a temporary lapse in memory. In a moment of weakness, she realized that she was black, and that the Clinton's had themselves used the 'race card' to pull in votes.
She's okay now, and repentant.
She doesn't want to miss out on a sleep over in the Lincoln room, or a minor position in Hillary's administration.
Billory won over Obama 39 to 36. Statistically speaking, this is a dead heat. To prove it, they both received the same number of delegates.
ReplyDeleteI hate to be flogging black folks all the time but could we please grow up just a little? A couple weeks ago, Obama was down double digits from Clinto. In what alternate universe is this seen as a conspiracy against Obama? Sweet Jesus, people, the man walks away with equal delegates after a quantum leap from where he was just a short time ago and somebody's decided Obama lost? Please, let him lose like that all the way to the Big House.
That's not to say that election fixing is not a possibility but this certainly doesn't look an example. There has been analysis by CNN or MSNBC f where Obabma was strong and where he wasn't and the voting patterns were consistent with that.
"She's okay now, and repentant".
ReplyDelete"She doesn't want to miss out on a sleep over in the Lincoln room, or a minor position in Hillary's administration".

She scared herself & had a sudden reality check!
I thought...look at this crap...WTF
"I hate to be flogging black folks all the time but could we please grow up just a little?"
ReplyDeleteYou're patronizing. Not a way to "win friends and influence people."
Take your own advice. We're doing just fine following our own path.
Bill and Hillary are trying to use a twisted reverse psychology. By making Obama the BLACK candidate, ala Jesse Jakson, polarizing white, vaguely racist voters, they feel they can marginalize his effectiveness.
ReplyDelete
