Obama vs. Rush.

In this corner, we have the 50 million or so Obamaholics who will defend his O ness with the type of fervor and devotion reserved for religious fanatics with bombs strapped to their belts.

And in this corner, we have the 20 million or so devotees and psycho wing nuts who would give their right arms---well maybe not the right one---their left arms for the fat cigar smoking drug addict, affectionately known as Rush. Advantage Obama.
It might be because of this advantage that his O ness invoked the name of the fat boy yesterday. Obviously, the rethugs are not pleased. They think it was a cheap political ploy, and an attempt by his O ness to play his own little game of divide and conquer.

"You can't just listen to Rush Limbaugh and get things done"

That's what he told a bunch of GOP leaders after asking them to come see him at the Beige House. Now dem there is fighting words, Obama. Telling a republican that they can't listen to Rush is like telling a hooker that she can't wear heels. But what's his O ness to do? He has a 800 billion dollar stimulus package to push through, and these rethugs don't want to play ball.

In a way I see what his O ness was doing. But why Rush? Why not FOX? They have way more viewers, and I bet more rethug politicians watch FOX than listen to Rush. Hell the people who listen to Rush can hardly read and write let alone prowl the halls of Congress. But I get it O man, it's all about symbolism.

I know who is loving this attention: Rush. He can't wait to engage you O man, more ratings for him, and more material for his stupid show. He is having multiple orgasms as I write this. Still, I don't know if I can blame you for calling him out, after all, the ignorant SOB said that he hopes you fail. I think that would be enough to piss anyone off. Even someone as smooth as you.
But don't worry about Rush O man, at the end of the day, you are going to get your stimulus package. You are the President now, so please do whatever you think is best to get us out of this mess. You have political capital, spend it well.

I just hope that after the financial institutions and other special interests get their cut, there will be enough left over to help the people who put you in.

  2. I have it on impeccable authority that Rush Limbaugh, who continues to portray himself as heterosexual, enjoys vacationing at Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.

Puerto Plata, for those who don't know, is a favorite haunt for American and European men on the "DL."

Teenage boys are lined up at the airport just waiting for an offer and a handful of U.S. greenbacks.

Limbaugh is a fraud and a freak.

The more that hypocritical fatass Limpboy opens his mouth, the more votes his side loses. This is win/win for Obama.

One thing that galls me though is the chutzpah that fatass shows in saying he wants Obama to fail. Remember how he and the wingnuts demanded everyone rally around Bush after 9/11 because "united we stand" blah blah blah. When you KNOW that if Gore was president and 9/11 happened on his watch they would have tried the damndest to crucify him for failing to prevent it.

And the "liberal media" ALWAYS lets thenm get away with that kind of shit.

Keep blustering fatass, maybe you can lose another six or seven senate seats next year.

Rush Limbaugh has about 13.5 million weekly listeners. If the O-man is going to establish cred with the non-Obamaholics, he might as well attack the biggest bully in the GOP.

This tactic works well in hockey and in prison. Why not politics?

Let me ask you though - if the problem with the "National Republicans", in your jaundiced view, is that they listen to Rush and Fox News.......what exactly is the news source that are feeding the "local Democrats" that are running the eroding cities of Philadelphia, Baltimore, DC, Newark, Camden, Milwaukee, Detroit, Chicago, St Louis, Kansas City, Cleveland, Buffalo, Akron and Columbus?

Is it MSNBC, The Huffington Post, DailyKOS or do each of these cities have a blogger in the elite "AfroSpear" syndicate that is pumping the people full of information?

  11. WTF, at least El Rushbo is constitutionally qualified to be President!

Rush Limbaugh was born in 1951 to an American mom "Millie" and an American dad lawyer & WWII fighter pilot in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Since 'President' Obama now wants to silence El Rushbo even before BHO has a chance to re-establish the "fairness doctrine" to silence all conservative talk radio, I've got three questions (but answers to only two of them):

FIRST QUESTION: Who IS the actual and lawful 44th President of the USA?

    ANSWER: Joe Biden

Biden was initially the Acting President for at least 5 minutes under either the Constitution’s Article 2 or the Constitution’s 20th Amendment, from 12:00 Noon 1/20/09, having already taken his Oath of Office and before Obama completed his ‘oath’ at approximately 12:05 PM, 1/20/09. Under the 20th Amendment if the President-elect shall have failed to qualify, or alternatively under Article 2 if the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties, at the time fixed for the beginning of the term, being 12:00 Noon 1/20/09, which ability and/or qualification includes that he take the Article 2 oath “before he enter on the execution of his office,” then either the Presidency shall devolve on the Vice President under Article 2 or the Vice President shall act as President under the 20th Amendment. (The importance of the oath in ‘commencing’ an ‘Obama Presidency’ — rather than merely the 1/20/09 Noon time — is confirmed by the re-take of the ‘oath’ by Obama at the White House on 1/21/09 after the first ‘oath’ was NOT administered by Justice Roberts NOR recited by Obama in the words as required under Article 2.)

This is significant because at such time that the Supreme Court finally rules on the merits on Obama’s disqualification as not being an Article 2 “natural born citizen” (clearly he is NOT under either and/or both of two bases -- (1) BHO refuses to show Birth Certificate to deny Kenyan birth/res ipsa loquitur "action speaks for itself" or (2) BHO admits dad was Kenyan/British, not American, citizen at Jr's birth), Biden’s automatic status (without needing to take a separate Presidential Oath) of being President would be predicated upon four different bases: First, having been Vice President under Article 2; second, having been Vice President-elect under the 20th Amendment; third, having been actual President in the hiatus before Obama took the ‘oath(s)’; and fourth, retroactively deemed President during the full period of the Obama usurpation so that the acts of the Federal Government under the usurpation can be deemed authorized and/or ratified by Biden’s legitimacy.

SECOND QUESTION: Who will be the 45th President?

    ANSWER: Hillary Clinton

One must assume that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been aware of all of the above. Biden’s wife recently “let the cat out of the bag” on the Oprah Show that both Biden and Hillary had considered alternatively Veep or Secretary of State, in either case, setting up Hillary to be President on a vote of the Democratic Congress if need be.

THIRD QUESTION: Is Obama an unwitting victim of this troika or a knowing participant?

    ANSWER: Not yet determined.

Limbaugh, the Patron Saint of the clueless, hapless Republican trailer park crowd, is a pedophile and a drug addict.

No wonder conservatives who listen to this douchebag are lost in the wilderness?

He is so committed to being "right" in his own bloviations and mind, he exhibits not one ounce of compassion for the very real suffering of the people of this country or people abroad.

This is the epitome of why I despise the right wing... an utter and complete lack of compassion for the suffering of others.

Where as the one Supreme Court candidate several years ago withdrew his nomination because it was found that he smoked weed in the past AND we just got beyond a president who was repeatedly called a "Coke Head" and an Alcoholic. You never asked anyone for PROOF that evil Bush was ADDICTED to Cocaine. The fact that he tried this HARD DRUG was enough for the attack to stick.

How far do you wish to move the goal posts on this one Filled Negro?

I am not sure if you are a subscriber to NetFlix or not. Check out the documentary entitled "The Criminal Injustice System In America". As I watched it I could not help but notice the irony. Though this flick was made long before anyone heard of Obama the argument they made was that:

    * Rich kids at Yale go to drug treatment or get their degree (they had a picture of Clinton and Bush on the screen).....poor Black kids who use drugs in the ghetto a few blocks down the street go to JAIL.

Obama now shatters this claim made by this progressive group that made the documentary. This poor Black kid from a broken home did in fact go to an Ivy League school, used cocaine and became PRESIDENT.

WHAT A COUNTRY we live in Filled Negro!!

So now experimentation with drugs/alcohol back twenty years or more when a whole lot of us did that constitutes being a 'drug addict' in the present day? Then there's a whole lot of 'drug addicts' out there including myself. Glad I could adjust to that and become rather successful despite the fact it should have crippled me too. /eyeroll Talk about spinning a 'story' to suit your needs. That's something.

  41. Uncon... the difference between Obama and Bush's use of drugs and alcohol are thus:

Bush admitted to being an alcoholic. But he said he did not need treatment, cuz he found the lord and the lord cured him. There were reports that he was busted for cocaine and his record was expunged. He did not deny it or admit to it. He had several DUI arrests. Anyone who has dealt with addiction will tell you that until you admit to your addiction AND deal with the issues around it, you are not in recovery. There is no cure. Thus the term dry drunk, which is the way the Bush behaves.

Obama admits to smoking pot when he was a teen and trying cocaine. He did not deny it. He also did not have arrests for it. That is a far cry from addiction. His behavior in dealing with it is also different. He admitted to it. He discussed the issues that he had that surrounded his use, and he talks about why he moved forward. There is self reflection and growth, none of which Bush evinced.

As to defense attorneys being scum... well I assume that is just a juvenile attempt on your part to illicit a response from the Field, being that he is one. However, it ends up saying way more about you than anything else.

What I do not like are those that bloviate about drug abusers and how they should all be sent to prison for life and then it turns out that they in fact are CURRENT drug abusers (Rush)... kinda like the homophobes that make public spectacles about how sinful and perverted homoSEXuals are, and then it is discovered they are having affairs with same sex paramours.

Since Filled Negro gets off on Fox News, Rush Limbaugh and anything to the right of Nancy Pelosi - it is always a struggle keeping my Philly homeboy focused on the IMPORTANT THINGS.

I am doing what I can from 800 miles away to keep the murder ticker listed on the "right hand banner of shame" to a minimum.

Sadly I think Mr. Filled Negro is going to see that the magical gravitational pull of having a Black and a Democratic president is not going to motivate the Drug Thug Killers any more than when they noted that their Mayor is a Black Democrat, their police chief is a Black Democrat and their governor is a Democrat.

You would think that Filled Negro would DEMAND that the politicians who AT LEAST ON PAPER are in his favor would actually DO SOMETHING about the disproportionate deaths of these Black people in Philly.

Unfortunately they learned that after the angry crowd dies down they will simply strike out against the GUN SHOPS IN PA rather than the politicians or THUGS.

The thugs will simply travel down south on vacation, pick up some guns and then bypass the local distribution system, thus proving that Filled Negro and others are more into SYMBOLISM and in empowering Democrats than they are about actually ADDRESSING the problems in their community.

I have to at times stand back and marvel at the Democrats for setting up the situation where THEY gain POWER and escape ACCOUNTABILITY for that which happens under their watch because the bigoted ideologues are willingly focused on the EXTERNAL CONSERVATIVE ENEMY.

szpork (Anon@10:55): Aw, poor baby, are you sad because you don't get to hurt poor folks and gloat over it anymore?

ACORN and Planned Parenthood are two of the most effective organizations out there... but of course, you oppose what their basic goals, of helping people live their own lives.

Well, tough. Your sort had the power for most of the last two decades, and we've all seen the results -- death, destruction, denial, and a new Depression. Now the tide has turned, and the money's going to help regular human beings, not fat cats and corporate robber-barons. Too bad for you....

I think Obama's jab at Rush Limbaugh makes sense. Limbaugh is an agitator, NOT someone who tries to promote any kind of real proactive change. There are neo-cons out there who do want to do something positive (even though I think they're mostly off-base in their assumptions and tactics), but Rush ain't one of them.

Rush likes to hear himself talk and likes to stir shit up. When a man refers to all feminists as femi-nazis and environmental advocates as all being eco-terrorists, you have a man who has a very, very narrow view of who the good guys are and who would kick everyone else to the side.

So, yes, anyone really, truly, LISTENING to Rush Limbaugh is someone who is not going to be working to get things done.

The thing that really kills me about Lush Rimjob was that he was one of the main rightwing yappers who were calling liberals "traiterous" because they supposedly wanted Bush to fail so that they could take back Congress and eventually the White House.

Does he consider himself a traitor or "anti-American"?

    Of course not.

THE PRESIDENT SHOULD NOT HAVE GIVEN RUSH THE TIME OF DAY. BUT BY DOING SO, IT ONLY FUELED RUSH'S ENGINE AND MADE MORE FOLKS LISTEN TO HIM, WHICH IN TURN GIVES THE MAN MORE REASON TO KEEP SAYING FOOLISH STUFF -- IF THAT IS EVEN POSSIBLE.

  64.
UnCon... this is what I really dont like about you... you declare that YOU are doing something about whatever... violence, promoting justice, whatever.... but you ASSUME that others who disagree with you are not. Really, how fucking sanctimonious and self righteous can you get?!
That's OK Jody - I like you and there is NOTHING THAT YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT!!!

Do you mind if I break it down for you Jody?

AGAIN I did NOT say that Brother Former Marxist IS NOT DOING ANYTHING.

I simply noted the CARNAGE that is going on on the streets of the communities that he and you PURPORT to care about and I have the FREAKING AUDACITY TO ASK "IS IT WORKING"?

Jody - think about it. If someone DOES NOT hold the CONTROLLING AUTHORITY over these streets ACCOUNTABLE for the results from these streets - how do you expect there to be any sort of mitigation of this problem?

My push back against Brother Former Marxist is that he and others want a PAT ON THE BACK for what they are doing. As long as what they do resides within a limited set of acceptable actions (ie: no authoritarian or conservative" type responses) then their INTENTIONS trump the RESULTS.

    Black people still dying????
    AT LEAST WE TRIED!!!

You have totally mischaracterized my motivations.

Should I hand out a cookie to Brother Former Marxist?
WOULD YOU do the same to an elected official (who was not a Democrat) who announced that despite their best efforts the MURDER RATE has INCREASED?

Decon Blue - I hope that you accept that there are a bunch of people who would be inclined to do a "Search and Replace" on your statement and substitute:

    * Air America
    * Keith Olbermann
    * And every host on the leftist channel on Sirius

    in their statement.

It seems that "Proactive Change" is in the eye of the beholder now ISN'T IT?

Some of us who disagree with you might just happen to notice the domination of various working class neighborhoods by people with YOUR SAME PROGRESSIVE OUTLOOK.

We are not so willing to look past the RESULTS that you have been rendering in your quest for PROACTIVE CHANGE.

In Philly where my good friend Field Negro lives - an increasing number of people who voted for "Proactive Change" are now exiting the city, abandoning the baby that they birthed and moving into "RETROGRADE Suburban towns" and working to UPGRADE them.

Doesn't make much sense does it?

    Constructive Feedback,

I hesitate to respond, since you're clearly back in ranting mode after a month or two of more balanced commentary from you, but there is a huge difference between Keith Olbermann and Rush Limbaugh. Keith Olbermman is the left wing equivalent to Bill O'Reilly. For all that I disagree with Bill's views, I would put him FAR above Rush in terms of sanity and desire for actual progress.

And what makes you think I'm all that enamored of left-wing insane people than I am of right wing?

You're going to slam ALL of Air America's folks. Air American may be left to the extreme, but so is FOX News. I think FOX News overall is ideologically imbalanced and far from even trying to be objective, but I don't reject every person who works there nor do I claim that every point they make is wrong.

    I don't listen to Sirius...so can't comment there.

I made a point about Rush, who is closed minded, has tons of personal issues, doesn't allow any dissent to his views, is a rabble rouser for the sake of making chaos, is completely self-interested, and offers nothing of value in terms of insight, commentary or solutions. HE is an idiot. Not all right wingers are complete idiots, but HE is. And he had been since I was a late teen/early 20-something and I would listen to him on the radio...and I'm almost 41 now.
