So my racism chasing ways led me to the following story from my local paper:
"My corner of Chester County doesn't make national news too often, but it did on Election Day 2008.
Voters trying to cast ballots in Lower Oxford Township East stood in lines for so long that TV crews showed up to capture the scene. Some of those waiting ordered out for pizza. Sympathetic neighbors brought water and coffee. When the last vote was cast shortly before 11 p.m., polls were officially closing on the West Coast and Barack Obama had already been declared the winner.
Some of the 1,440 who voted there that day waited for seven to eight hours in the rain, queuing up close enough to working railroad tracks to reach out and touch passing freight cars. The tiny community center they waited to enter could accommodate only seven booths and one optical scanner. The adjacent parking lot was big enough for a dozen cars.
This wasn't a mistake. It was deliberate. It was the clearest example you could hope to find of partisan politics trumping common sense and civic duty.
This wasn't a mistake. It was deliberate. It was the clearest example you could hope to find of partisan politics trumping common sense and civic duty.
The key detail about this is that the precinct in question includes Lincoln University, the nation's oldest black college, home to roughly 1,600 students. This is the largest bloc of African American voters in any precinct in predominantly white, Republican Chester County. Blacks tend to vote Democratic. Republicans don't mind making it harder for them to cast ballots.
This kind of political chicanery is standard fare, of course, but it assumes an uglier cast when race enters the story. "
I know that we are long past those glorious days in A-merry-ca when hope reigned supreme, but this story still stinks to high heaven. Have these people in the majority population no shame? But wait.....
" The two Republican commissioners responsible, Carol Aichele and Terence Farrell, were clearly motivated by politics, not race (Farrell is black, and his parents both taught at Lincoln), but there is an ugly undercurrent to this whole affair with deeper historical roots." [Story]
Come again Mr. Bowden. One of the commissioners was black? White folks, I apologize. Oh my! Is there no limit to what the house Negro will do for acceptance? "Farrell is black, and his parents both taught at Lincoln"? And yet this slave catcher tried to make it harder for blacks to vote in a historic election? Pinch me, I must be dreaming. Hey it's one thing to support a different political party or ideology than most black folks. That's fine. We can't be monolithic, and that type of intellectual diversity actually benefits us in the long run. But playing sneaky political games to shut out a portion of the electorate who has traditionally been underrepresented, and who happens to belong to a group you yourself belong to, borders on criminal.
Mr. Farrell, the house is too good for you, because as much as I get on the house Negro, if I am going to be honest; there were actually some good slaves in the house. You, Mr. Farrell, belong in the [out]house. More specifically, in the sewer, with the rest of the filth.
Before I go I would like to follow up on a story I recently blogged about. Seems that the guy who got down with Mitt on the plane the other day was none other than Barry Gordy's grandson. (I swear you can't make this stuff up.) And the guy is claiming that Mitt actually assaulted him first. (See his story here) -BTW, is it me, or does it seem like this Sky Blu character is spoofing something?-
Oh well Mitt, I hope this works out for you. But next time, as I told you before, don't fly commercial.

THEY TOO HAD A LONG, LONG LINE. They were waiting in the rain as well.
The key difference in this case is that no one has filed a lawsuit charging RACISM - for Philly is run by Democrats.
I actually through that I had the picture from CNN's broadcast from this location. As I recall it was the sight of the LONG, LONG line of Black people way down the street which triggered me to write this story.
Clayton County Georgia - long lines - RACIAL SUPPRESSION of Black Voters charged except - the Democrats run the country election apparatus.
I will be a "better man" than you Filled Negro and AGREE - that the election board has the obligation to make a fair estimate of the turn out and that they should make a reasonable effort to house the election equipment in a facility that can accommodate the heavy flow of people.
Keep in mind, however that if a WHITE DEMOCRAT was running on the Democratic ticket - many of these new found voters at Lincoln U would not be voting. Thus in 2016 the election board can indeed move the voting precinct back to the small facility.
"the guy is claiming that Mitt actually assaulted him first. (See his story here) -BTW, is it me, or does it seem like this Sky Blu character is spoofing something?- "
ReplyDeletefield, that's hilarious!!!!
What a great video. Spoof? Maybe, but maybe not. Sure, the bling was a bit over the top, but the words rang true.

field, the talk around here is how typical it is for Mormon males to put their hand on someone's shoulder. It's a (misguided) cultural norm. Mr. Gordy said that Mr. Romney put his hand on Gordy's shoulder, and he pushed it off.
ReplyDeleteNow I don't know how forcefully he pushed it off, but it's very likely that Romney, in that paternalistic way Mormon men are, touched Gordy first.
You'd think he'd know better, but then again, why would he? He thinks he's EVERYONE'S friend. Remember "Who let the dogs out"?
@ FN:
ReplyDeleteAlthough your story (about the poll) is late in reporting, it is timely in every other sense.
What blacks will sit down for is amazing. Let us know how the lawsuit (if it goes forward) turns out. I hope those voters know that because they changed the polling place after the fact does not mitigate the responsibility of county officials at the time of instance. (you should be telling ME this stuff :)
And...
Thank you for acknowledging the anniversary of one of the most brillant men to walk the face of this earth. Malcolm X. And he gained his knowledge through the school of hard knocks. Yes, God sent him here for us to take note of the true nature of the black man. He is one of my major heroes.
Then...how could you not?
The picture of SkyBlu and Romney next to each other...priceless! How this country is changing...a young black man hits a would be president and white man...and simply gets booted off the plane...living to see another day. Emmitt Till did not die in vain.
Loved this post! Thanks!
Peace.

Wrong wrong wrong. Those dems did NOT change the traditional polling places at the last minute to make it smaller.-Although they should have done a better job of accommodating the anticipated increase in voter turnout- Unlike your boy, the slave catcher, who nefariously went out of his way to get a smaller polling place.
Bennett, is it me, or does it seem like we are living in some kind of parallel universe? :)
Honestly, I thought I was up on pop culture, but I have never heard of this guy. And if he is Gordy's grandson, what the hell is he even doing trying to work for a living? LOL!
New at posting, so not sure of the etiquette. Do yesterday's posts follow over or stay on yesterday's place?
ReplyDeleteThis is from yesterday, skip over if it should not be here.
Tersi,
You seem quite obsessed with my academic snobbery. However, it's quite obvious you are not much of a thinker in your reply to my statement sheds really nothing other than the fact you: "I'm not an "advocate" of anything (good to know since you are on a Black board posting that you don't advocate for anything...ie equal rights). "then you give me a power to wield that you shouldn't relinquish" no different dear Tersi than when Black folk do something stupid and we all go "ouch" cause it just hurts our cause. But maybe you don't know black are judged harsher than others for their perceived failures.
I am sorry there were no feelings of silliness, for you sure look that way by your writing.
2) "just a lurker" there is nothing wrong with lurking, and yes Thoughtful is new to the board. I don't post. Until today, however, "just a lurker" connotates lurking as negative...(ie "she's JUST a woman....")
3) I said it was a sign of "bigotry" to use it so cavalierly, and without cause. I stand by that...no sense here Tersi, trying to follow you. I use this term daily. I assure you it's not in a cavalier manner as you suppose.
Words have power Tersi, but perhaps you don't know that.
FN let's get you in here too:
1) Tersi could well be queer, an uneducated simple-minded one at that. However, if you read carefully (as you would if it were an issue of race, since that is dearest to your heart, and sexuality is dearer to mine), Tersi uses the term "their" in speaking about my group. She does not include herself/himself in that.
2) Field, I am sure that republican accusation was not meant for me, those would be fighting words! :)
Good day all.
What's makes you think Obama will be running in 2012? I think he will be a one-term President.
ReplyDeleteAnon:
IF Obama did announce that he was not running in 2012 - AfroSpear, Color Of Change, Ella Baker Center, MoveOn.Org, Apollo Alliance and DailyKOS would all do a massive WRITE IN CAMPAIGN to FORCE him to remain as their leader.
It matters NOT what the state of the Black and Working Class communities are in Nov 2012. They'll say that BUSH did more damage than what 4 years of Democratic Rule of the executive and 7 years of the legislative and more than 25 years of the LOCAL establishment was able to undo.
Besides they will be able to "Regift" their "Obama Limited Edition Commemorative Plates", getting 3 times the price as the first time.
What blacks will sit down for is amazing. Let us know how the lawsuit (if it goes forward) turns out. ReplyDeleteAgape and Filled Negro:
PLEASE DETAIL WHERE the polling place was CHANGED AT THE LAST MINUTE?
FILLED NEGRO - AS AN ATTORNEY I DEMAND THAT YOU ADDRESS THESE POINTS OF FACT:
Which is why hundreds of voters six weeks earlier had petitioned the three-member Chester County Board of Commissioners (sitting in their capacity as the Election Board) to shift the polling place. They told of the hours-long waits at that polling place in previous elections. They offered an easy alternative: Lincoln's gymnasium, which has a huge well-lighted parking lot and an entrance right off of Baltimore Pike, one of the precinct's main thoroughfares. Because the largest bloc of voters in the precinct lives at Lincoln, it would make sense, they argued, for the polling place to be on campus.
and
The tiny community center they waited to enter could accommodate only seven booths and one optical scanner.
So we have 8 total voting machines.
We have 1,440 BLACK COLLEGE STUDENTS voting.
Don't know how many non-college RESIDENTS attempted to vote in this section of Chester County
WIKIPEDIA ENTRY on Lower Oxford Township:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lower_Oxford_Township,_Chester_County,_Pennsylvania
4,319 residents. Some portion of which are VOTING AGE.
I tell you what Filled Negro let's make them ALL VOTERS!!!
4319 + 1440 = 5,759
5,759 divided by 8 voting machines = 719 voters per machine.
The polls were open from 7 to 7 = 12 hours.
719 divided by 12 hours means that each machine had to do 60 voters per hour.
You had a MACHINE ALLOCATION PROBLEM before you had a LOCATION problem based on RACISM.
But wait - Filled Negro - If I were a defense attorney in support of the election board the FIRST thing I would request is HISTORICAL VOTING PATTERNS at this precinct. How many other elections have 5,759 voters showing up?
Since the EQUIPMENT is a limited resource - (other polling places had similar demands) - what REASONABLE accommodation should have been made for the expected load of individuals?
DO YOU KNOW OF ANY PERSON WHO DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO VOTE BECAUSE OF THE LIMITED SPACE OR LACK OF EQUIPMENT?
WOULD THERE NOT HAVE BEEN LONG LINES AT THE UNIVERSITY GYM?

I give you credit Filled Negro.
Typically "Democrats who are Black" only file election lawsuits when the Democrats LOSE. You are getting more sophisticated in your old age. Good job.
"does it seem like we are living in some kind of parallel universe? :) "
ReplyDeleteYeah, it does. After thinking about the video overnight, I have to give praise to Sky Blu for two things.
First, his brilliance for staging the response to the incident, in a relaxed and funny manner.
Second, not trying to escalate this minor scene into something it wasn't, and even going out of his way to say "we're cool, we love everybody."
A class act if there ever was one.
If he's an example of the parallel universe, please take me there!

Mr. Gordy probably isn't a Mormon, and whatever cultural norm he ascribes to apparently deems it acceptable to physically accost someone on an airplane when they ask to you follow air safety regulations. You'd think Mr. Gordy would know better.
Mr. Gordy sounds like a spoiled, self-absorbed thug with no respect for his elders, and I expect he is on a course that will lead to his eventual beat-down. If Mr. Romney thinks everyone is his friend, Gordy thinks everone is his bitch. Who let the dogs on the plane? Who has the misguided cultural norm? Get a grip.

We can not grow complacent. There right wing MFers will make use of whatever tactics they need to make use of to dominate. They are beginning to get desperate with all this here "diversity" and such.
ReplyDelete@Field, you promised to let us know how Valentine's Day turned out for the stressed brother with the ring, who was worried sick that his girlfriend wouldn't like it?
ReplyDeleteI hope she didn't act like a Fp (and 'you know who')- and turn up her nose at the ring and him because she wanted at least a 2.5 karat diamond.
Well, maybe it would be a blessing in disguise if she did drop him.
Seriously, did you put your hand on his shoulder in a fatherly Romney fashion and gently suggest that he ditch the bitch?
Damn. Before you go talking about ramming your foot up someone's ass, perhaps we could discuss the situation. I know that just before takeoff the pilot asks everyone to put their seats up. Why? Because sometimes it takes a long time to get takeoff clearance. Until then, I think it's fine (and allowed) to recline those uncomfortable bastard seats (for anyone over 5'8" tall).
ReplyDeleteIf he had "hit" Mr. Romney, or "slugged" him, he would have been arrested and charged. He wasn't.
So spare me the outrage.

Anon 5:32, I think it went well with our boy, although no official word yet. I will call him this week. I think he knows that I blogged about him, though, so he might even comment himself.
IS THERE A MESSIAH IN THE HOUSE? Is this a question that African-Americans should be asking, or should they be looking at themselves for leadership? Individually we as people sometimes place too much responsibility on those we think are going to lead us to the promise land. It should be understood that it is a collective effort that brings about strong solutions. Remembering the accomplishments of the past along with the memory of those who came before us(Meager, Martin, Malcolm, Fannie along with others of my generation) we can feel the PRIDE of a job well done and the feeling, that there is no mountain that is too high for us to climb.
ReplyDeleteThe year 2008, we elected a young African-American man as President of the United States, regardless of the fact that the seeds of racism are still being sewn into the fabric of our society; the needle does not pass through as easy.
Looking towards the future, we should not set the bar of our expectations so high that the weight is heavy on the shoulders of one individual; thereby playing into the hands of those whose rhetoric keeps us divided.
As people, we should support the countries not just because of his ethnicity but because the best person qualified for the position was elected PRESIDENT OF THIS UNITED STATES. Furthermore, we must understand that the person has to govern for all the people and not just one segment of the population.
To many times we have placed our trust with local politicians that have taken us for granted, and in the end; they have only served their own needs and not the needs of the community. This is what leads to the disillusionment and disappointed.
Not since Adam Clayton Powell, Jr., in my opinion, has there been a politician so dedicated to his constituency and the plight of the African American as he was.
Now the question is. How will we receive the new President, because the pressure that he is going to face is going to be insurmountable, and although I feel that he will handle it. The bigger question is how we as people will handle it?

@Thoughtful___"no different dear Tersi than when Black folk do something stupid and we all go "ouch" cause it just hurts our cause. But maybe you don't know black are judged harsher than others for their perceived failures."
ReplyDeleteI'm afraid you'll have to speak for yourself. So-called "stupid" acts by blacks may hurt your "cause," whatever that may be, but my "cause" has never suffered a setback.
Further, I don't care what blacks do. Each according to his own conscience. Each according to his own truth. As long as blacks aren't hurting me, or others, their behavior, and actions, are their own business.
I gave up carrying the burden and the guilt of the entire race when I was yet a young man.
I would suggest you do the same.
No, I don't go "ouch" for what you may label as black stupidity; nor do I care about the perception and judgment of others. I'm just not moved. I only care about how I perceive and judge myself.
True, I don't advocate (One that argues for a cause; a supporter or defender.). That's tantamount to standing on the sidelines. I make things happen. I take what is due me.
I suggest you do the same.
"You seem quite obsessed with my academic snobbery."
You credit me too much. I don't care what you are. If you wish to be a "snob," be a snob.
But what I would say of you is this: you're presumptuous.
You presume to tell the host of this blog that the blog's intellectual content is lacking, and suggest, further, that he's incapable of providing what you see as missing.
That, "Thoughtful," is unthoughtful, and intellectual bigotry.
I would suggest, too, Thoughtful, that you have a preoccupation with "intelligence." That in itself is telling.
Your perception of my writing is your perception. Think of it what you please. And I'll do the same.
Let me also note: you're fond of strawmen. If the words "just a lurker," connote a "negative" for you--you, yourself, put it there. And that, too, is telling.
And if you use the term, "queer," daily. So be it. That, too, is telling. If reclaiming it, gives you some comfort, so be it. If reclaiming it, takes the social sting out of it, so be it. If reclaiming it, makes your world brighter, and more palatable, so be it.
I reclaim nothing. I'm more into blazing new paths, establishing new definitions, forging new identities, rather than going back to reclaim, restore, or ameliorate outworn, shabby, dilapidated concepts and perceptions.
I would suggest you do the same.
"Words have power Tersi, but perhaps you don't know that."
Perhaps more than you, and more than you'll credit me. Reclaiming a word is not going to defuse it. Were that the case, the word, "nigger," would have lost it explosive, temblor power in certain settings years ago.
We both know that's not so.
Yes, I'm "simple-minded." I've never had to aspire toward intellectual complexity. I find that I'm pretty much the intellectual equal of most other "simple-minded" folks.
And that's just fine with me.
And I agree, I'm not in your intellectual league. And I can't say that's going to cause me any sleepless nights.
Actually, I'm rather proud of the intellectual distinction.
Individually we as people sometimes place too much responsibility on those we think are going to lead us to the promise land.
ReplyDeleteSmart Anon:
Actually you are not speaking to the ENTIRE EQUATION.
In addition to SUPPORTING the "most qualified individuals" - which I do agree with there is a necessary QUALIFICATION to this point and then there is an "Anti-Matter" axiom to the point.
Before you can determine WHO is "most qualified" you need to articulate the SCALE upon which you are judging this person's QUALIFICATIONS. For most their own bias and bigotry make them assume that THEIR OWN WORLD VIEW is correct. Thus anyone who most closely fits this view is the most qualified. I choose to put THEIR WORLD VIEW On trial. Let us take a tour of where this VIEW (of government, culture, economics) is entrenched and EVALUATE it on its efficacy at addressing the PERMANENT INTERESTS of the people.
Failing this Smart Anon - all you have is a POPULARITY contest.
Secondly in addition to SUPPORTING people we must learn who to KICK SOME PEOPLE THE HECK OUT!!!! (IE John Conyers announced his bid for reelection - 44 years and he was able to see Detroit's RISE and collapse).
We must learn to tell some folks "WE LOVE YOU and we will still throw you a party when your birthday comes - BUT YOU'VE GOTTA GO!!!!"
The words that most brothers hate to hear from a sista is "I'M SORRY WE CAN'T DO THIS ANY MORE". This is because she knows that while brother man is content with the arraignment SHE is on a particular "life schedule". As long as SHE does not say anything - brother man is going to keep "drinking his milk" and going along with the set up.
As a community we cannot afford to engage in such "promiscuous behavior" in which our PERMANENT INTERESTS are permanently INTENDED to be addressed. But - just like Filled Negro's Philly - even after the machine RUNS THE ENTIRE PLACE just as they STRUGGLED to do THEY ARE STILL playing their "confidence game" having us LOOKING OUTWARD and onward rather than MAKING NOTE of who is the new ESTABLISHMENT and how much we have our "Dreams Deferred" - until the NEXT election.
PLEASE RECONSIDER DISMISSING THE CASE, AS CHESTER COUNTY IS ONE OF THE WEALTHIEST COUNTIES IN PENNSYLVANIA AND COULD HAVE EASILY AFFORDED MORE VOTING MACHINES.
ReplyDeleteBailiff!!!!!!
Go taser that Filled Negro and lock him up for contempt of court!!!! Shock him twice for no other reason than because he is Black and from Jamaica.
His reasoning offends the court!!!
For him to argue that Chester County is one of the WEALTHIEST counties in Pennsylvania - we must ask Brother Negro if he would accept the argument made in the parallel universe that since Potter County PA (in the North-central part of the state) is one of the POOREST that they are not required to PURCHASE ADEQUATE VOTING APPARATUSES.
The court also realizes that if Diebold was the contract holder for the machines and the STATE GAVE THEM EVEN MORE MONEY.....that AfroSpear would team with Color Of Change and accuse the state of funding Diebold's PROFITS.
Still the court realizes that the lawsuit was NOT ABOUT THE QUANTITY OF MACHINES. It was about the size of the facility. The court holds that 8 voting machines in a gym or at the "VFW Meeting Hall" that houses the Klan meetings on Saturday - 8 machines placed anywhere would have lead to a lot of Lincoln University kids AND White folks from the community waiting in line together. Having to wait in line for 5 hours without any means of DISCRIMINATING between these two groups - quite possibly the students might befriend a community member who would invite them over for a home cooked meal on occasion.

Do tell.
Bigoted because I point out that Mr. Romney is Mormon, and that Mormon men have a habit of putting their hand on the shoulder of the person to whom they are speaking?
That's the reality, friend. Some people find it comfortable and assuring, some don't. Mr. Gordy apparently did not. I didn't excuse Mr. Gordy's behavior, I just pointed out a detail that might shed some understanding on the issue.
And what's up with the juvenile name calling? Really? Can't you just disagree with me without resorting to petty insults?

ReplyDeleteI didn't know that you were White and I don't care. Does it make what Gordy did right, because you support him? Gordy was a jackass and needed his ass kicked.
You see, Gordy would have never been offended if a black man had put their hand on his shoulder and asked him to raise up his seat during take off. In fact, Gordy probably would have given the old black hand shake and touched shoulders. But he punches Romney? That's over the top and the fact that you are a white woman covering Gordy's wrong doesn't change a thing.

Now you tell me (rhetorical) where YOU see that I said ANYTHING about the "last minute"?
I don't care if it was last minute, last week, last year or the next minute, the next week, or the next year...you cannot obstruct polling places, nor can you prevent people from voting or making it difficult to vote.
I'm not even going to go into the fact that they had McCain/Palin posters at the polling place. I wonder how many feet they were from the actual door?

Too bad your post offered no critical insight on race, racism, theory or pretty much anything except some opinions. I do hope if you reproduce your raise your children with intellectual integrity. It's gravely missing in the world, and you sir are proof.
Good day.
Agape, I would respond to CF's last post, but had me arrested for contempt. See, this is what a HN Judge does when he gets a little power. :)
ReplyDelete
I don't care if it was last minute, last week, last year or the next minute, the next week, or the next year...you cannot obstruct polling places, nor can you prevent people from voting or making it difficult to vote.
ReplyDeleteAgape Luv - you have no evidence that this was the case. Show the OBSTRUCTION?
I would even yield that the county may have a contentions relationship at time with "those students".
What else is new?
I can take you around to other schools in which the "young students" and the more settled people in the surrounding town don't get along.
This does not prove "Klan Activity".
Do you see that upon inspection the claims made by the people filing the lawsuit, the author of the story, and Filled Negro crash to the ground?
The issue SHOULD HAVE BEEN about the number of VOTING MACHINES allocated - not the LOCATION.
If the balance of the voting district felt that having the polling place in the community center was more convenient to them then the 1,440 students that were ELIGIBLE to vote (supposedly) merely lost the battle of OPINIONS.
I ask again - DIDN'T THE COUNTY VOTERS HAVE TO WAIT IN LONG LINES just as the STUDENTS that were "discriminated" against had to?
I'm not even going to go into the fact that they had McCain/Palin posters at the polling place. I wonder how many feet they were from the actual door?
Guess what Amour - I AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT ONE. I noticed this too. The campaign signs were not supposed to be so close.
Then again I am brought back to the vision of the polling place at 61st and Nassau Road in Philly. When I was growing up they used to have campaign signs PLASTERED On ever damned tree up and down the block.
See that green house:
http://www.google.com/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=nassau+road+at+61st+street,+philadelphia,+pa&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=49.978077,95.273438&ie=UTF8&hq=&hnear=N+61st+St+%26+Nassau+Rd,+Philadelphia,+Pennsylvania+19151&ll=39.979406,-75.242486&spn=0.001488,0.002908&z=19&layer=c&cbll=39.979407,-75.242489&panoid=0Iv-mcJuDxBSe7N6l6vo9A&cbp=12,44.56,,0,5.17
They used to have the polling precinct in the BASEMENT of the house. They cut down all of the giant trees that used to be on the block.
This just might be how things are done in PA?
I am seeing more and more that we don't have to chase racism, it's landing on my doorstep every morning.

You're right--I offered nothing of worth, and nothing of value.
It's hard to be inspired when your opponent fails to bring out your very best.
Yeah, I'm proof I'm lacking in "intellectual integrity," but nothing you've said so far convinces me that I'm missing out on anything.
Frankly, if you're the best example of it, I think I'll remain just the way I am.
Whether "intellectual integrity" is missing in the world or not (and I'll take your word for it--you seem to know about these things), at least I'm willing to reproduce, and able to reproduce, and willing to give it my best shot to rid the world of what you say is "missing."
But I can't do it alone. The world needs your genetic input as well. Don't let us down.
Clearly you have all the genetic wherewithal to expand the genetic pool, and give the world the benefit of what you have to offer.
Don't feel sorry for me for my deficiencies, as you see them. The world is deficient in many things. But it will limp along, and get by.
I hope we count on you, Thoughtful.

ReplyDeleteHow much is your bond? This is gonna be like the black funeral..."we gotta get together on this..." hahahahaha!
@CF:
If YOU were not so YOU I would ask for your hand in marriage :)
My sweet, first off I love that we agree that rules must be followed (campaign paraphenilia is supposed to be so many feet from the polling door).
But sugar, I did not make mention of race in any way. Voting is a right for everyone.
And...but obstruction...I would think that having to be right next to the highway where big trucks are rolling within 10 feet can be considered "obstruction".
Now play nice, darling CF, and let Mr. Field out please, kid sir. ;)
Peace.

@ CF:
ReplyDeleteOne more thing baby...how many voting machines do you think that shack in the blog can hold?
If they need more machines they certainly would not be able to put them in that shack...obviously they would need more room...or that might "obstruct" voters ;)
Peace.

ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind words.

LOL! I am sure that if it's up to the CF one it's going to be pretty high.
Racist Traitoress:
ReplyDelete"Bigoted because I point out that Mr. Romney is Mormon, and that Mormon men have a habit of putting their hand on the shoulder of the person to whom they are speaking?
That's the reality, friend."
How's this reality: "Mr. Gordy is a black man, and black men have a habit of punching people to whom they are speaking". Is that a bigoted statement? Think about what you are saying and why you are saying it.
