Say it ain't so Lou, and "Sieg Heil" to you Mr. Iott.

*
I am going to have to get with my man Lou Dobbs a little bit tonight. Lou has made a nice living from his soap box -six million per year to be exact- over the past few years whining about illegal immigration here in A-merry-ca. Well, guess what? Seems Lou was hiring illegals to work on his estate while putting on his makeup and getting in front of the cameras over at CNN. Do as I say, not as I do. This is the mantra of the loud mouth hypocrite, and Lou fits perfectly into that mold.

And here is the astonishing thing about this story: after being outed for the fraud that he is, Dobbs is denying that he did anything wrong and is actually calling the article a "hit piece".
Talk about big ones.

"The only person who would have been an illegal in any context would have been a landscaper who was working for the contractor working on my house in Florida. That may have happened," admits the former CNN anchor and fierce anti-illegal immigration crusader. Dobbs is a frequent critic of companies that hire illegal workers.

"But that isn't my employee nor is it the reason I would have contracted with that landscaper. And to suggest I hired the person who is illegal if, indeed she can document there was someone illegal, is an absurdity," said Dobbs. "I have hired no illegal immigrants, no company of mine has hired illegal immigrants and that is the essential fact."

Hmmm, the "essential fact". I guess that's a cute way of saying it's my facts. Or the facts as I see them. Well Lou,here is the facts as I see them: Like so many of your wealthy friends in A-merry-ca you don't give a damn about immigration one way or the other. You go on television before millions of people and you demagogue a subject to get ratings by pushing their emotional buttons. -In your case it's poor working class A-merry-cans who believe that they are poor because of immigrants. - Yet you hire those very immigrants to work for you and not the poor A-merry-cans who needs jobs. Why? Because it might cost you more money and money is something you love too much to do without.

Finally, it seems that the republicans might have a *Nazi problem. Let's see how they handle this one. Apparently Eric Cantor is doing his best to distance his party from Rich Iott. What an interesting and colorful character. It seems the republicans are full of interesting and colorful characters running this November. Maybe that's why they are slated to pick up so many seats. A-merry-ca loves interesting and colorful characters. Compared to the republicans democrats are so boring. I mean witches; fake hillbillies; hitmen; headless corpses in the desert; illegal housekeepers. Hollywood cant touch these folks for excitement. The poor boring dumbocrats don't stand a chance.

    Pathetic post Field.

First repeat an already dicredited hit piece on Dobbs, then run with the ridiculous story about Iott, whose participation in a historical re-enactment is incredibly spun to make him out as a Nazi!

    Pretty sorry.

Do you have any concrete proof to suggest that this is all just a hit job on Dobbs' credibility? I realize that most people don't consider who their contractor subcontracted the work to -- just as long as it gets done, but it does seem a bit hypocritical to rant and rave about illegal immigration, then turn a blind eye to (or in many cases, not check) who their contractors hire for a job.

Secondly, Nazi "historical re-enactments" rarely happen and are largely received in most parts of the world with the same disdain that a Confederate-themed "Antebellum Gala" would garner. Besides, many neo-Nazi groups operate under the same pretenses. I guess no one should go digging too deeply in Iott's past....

  3. Of course its all lies. This insinuated racism is all bull. Just like I'm sure its coincidence that Tancredo guy in colorado is fund raising with the Arizona Sheriff who gave us that obviously race neutral Arizona law. To prove its not racist they also added Dog the Bounty Hunter to that gala. Because Dog is known for... using the N word?

Considering that Lou Dobbs has made a reputation around the issue of illegal immigration he should be well aware that landscaping is one of the primary jobs that such immigrants do. He should also be aware that Florida has a high population of such immigrants.

You would think that such a person as Dobbs would be very interested in who his contractors hired considering the likelyhood of abuse and his stance against it.

How difficult would it be to put a no illegals provision in the contract?

    Ignorance is no excuse.

  10. Lou Dobbs is a hypocrite. He had to know. Not so much about the landscapers. The most glaring was the immigrants that took care of his daughters horses.

With that, he had to know. But then again he is of a cabal that has a mantra "its only ok when we do it™".

  11. Anonymous11:38 AM

Dobbs did not do his due diligence on the companies he hired. He as a responsibility to do research on the companies he hired to work for him. He needed to know if the contractors were hiring undocumented workers and everyone knows that landscapers hired these worker because it's cheap labor. Here is a reality people with wealth such as Dobbs will cut corners to save money. Meg Whitman is another person of considerable wealth who exploits others to save money. Companies and contractors have no interest in changing immigration laws because it does not behoove them as they need the labor. Companies will do whatever it takes to pay their employees money and the reason why I believe tax breaks is not an incentive for them to create. They are not going to create jobs, they are going to save that money for their profit. The company's goal is to profit, and that means hiring less employees and cutting staff.

We sure is, uptown, we sure is. You should be celebrating Columbus' great achievement today. If he hadn't discovered Amerikka, you'd be sitting you rancid ass under a tree, swatting flies off your face, wondering where your next drink was coming from. 13. Thank you field for this eye-opening post. Well, let me explain.
See, all this time some folks were saying the Holocaust wasn't real.

    Work with me now.

Now we have the very trustworthy Lou "doo-doo" Dobbs, telling the whole story. But let me go back, doesn't Rich Lott look like Otto Preminger from Stalag 17? And, if "Who knew Lou" does not look like Schultz from Hogan's Heros, I'll kiss your ass.

Well, who can forget his famous line of "I know nothinnnng". That sounds like Lou to me.

But Field, I'm trying to put this all together. Tell me, was Richie "rich kid" Lott participating in a re-enactment,or is there some real skeletons in his closet? I mean, we all know some of those Republicans are on that freaky mess, and Bob Crane, the actor from Hogan's heros, was known for dabbling in the 10 toes up and 10 toes down, 2 (or 5) naked booties going round n round, skin touching skin going in and out, and if that ain't fk'd up, you can kick me out. And Bob Crane also left pictures behind that exposed his nasty dark secrets.

So Field, thanks again for bringing the truth to the table. I'm still a little foggy on all the details, but Dobbs and Lott have their fingers crossed behind their backs.

Wrong. Obama has taken more vacation at this point in his term than any president.

No one wants to comment on the Dobbs story because there is nothing to it. He hired a company with the understanding that they did not use undocumented workers. One of the subcontractors apparently did. That's a scandal? He himself should have set up a screening corral at his property, where everyone had their paapers checked? Hell, the Arizona police can't even ask a DUI arrest for papers without you liberals having a fit. Try a little consistency for once.

    Your ignorance is astounding.

Columbus discovered the Caribbean, which was inhabited by a nasty people, the Carib, who made their living attacking and enslaving (and apparently eating) other tribes.

Disease would have come to the New World had Columbus come bearing gifts of gold and offering himself and his crew up as slaves. It was inevitable that someday the two populations would meet, and the diseases of each group spread among the other (Columbus brought back syphilis to the Old World).

The fact that already sparce New World populations were decimated by epidemics necessitated the importation of slaves from somewhere else. There happened to be a large African slave market already in place, established and run by the Arabs for centuries.

So, uptown, your great-great-great-not so great grandpappy got sold by his uncle to some Arab who sold him to some Portuguese who sold him to some plantation owner right here in Amerikka. If not for Columbus, there would have been no market for your ancestor, and he'd been left right where he was.

The 'age of discovery' ushered in a new age, to be sure...the Age of Expanded Exploitation...not just in Europe, but over a much larger area, globally, you might say, creating greater opportunities to exploit the weak, that morphed into a brutal colonialism that stretched across the planet, not for a kumbala moment, but to extract the riches of indigenous people.

The Age of Discovery brought the world together in the same way that a headlong collision between two locomotives are brought together.

Greed is the 'grand evil design,' then and now. As with the past, greed still 'wreak havoc and death.'

Ask Africa if colonialism brought that continent 'relative peace and prosperity.'

And poorer, too, I might add. At no point in our long history has our 'technological, cultural, and material progress' brought us so close to the brink of mass extinction--the proliferation of nuclear bombs, global warming, and the incessant raping and pillaging of Gaia.

We're as prone today to 'sacrifice humans' for our national interest as during our yesterdays, or any time in our history, unless you buy the sweet truffles that we went into Iraq to kill off almost a million Iraqis to free them from the tyranny of Saddam Hussein.

And for slavery, it still exists, and mostly accepted...here in America, and around the world. We just call it by other names, 'sex slaves,' 'seasonal workers,' and 'outsourcing.'

Think it's measure up?

    @ Zing:

To compare working for a paycheck to slavery is just foolish.

Throughout human history, approximately 25% of all male deaths were due to warfare. Today's human society has the lowest warfare mortality rate in human experience.

And get your facts straight. Less than 100,000 Iraqi civilians died due to violence since the invasion, and most of those were at each other's hands.

"Gaia" is not in peril. The environment in America and the rest of the developed world is much cleaner than 50 years ago. I remember being in downtown Cleveland in the 60's and choking on the smoke from the steel mills. I remember the Cuyahoga River catching on fire.

We got richer and could afford to do things responsibly. The country has more forest acres today than 100 years ago. The rest of the world will see similar results as they develop their economies.

I know...I know...the best defense is a good offense. But you're failing miserably.

No, let's try it my way...Ask Iraqis if they're better off than they were under Saddam Hussein. Ask them...now that their population has been slashed my mortar fire, and bombs to the tune of about a million...if they'd rather go back to the way it was.

Ask American Indians if whites 'made civilization work' for them.

You're damn right, if I was an African, I'd follow the money, too. After this country and Europe stole Africa's natural resources (its human resources, too) to build up their countries, why wouldn't they want in on it as well.

If Africans are hungry, pay them for what you stole. It's called reparations. It's called being Christian. It's called being civilized. Oh, I see, you're not that civilized, yet!

And you tell me you've 'made civilization work.'

Welfare checks are a start, but you still haven't paid these decedents of slave all that you owe them, on behalf of their fore-parents, from whom they inherited mostly poverty.

When your debt is paid in full, and your numbers dwindle, which won't be long, blacks on welfare may decide to work for you again, or in spite of you.

Can't say why whites on welfare won't work...maybe you can help me out there.

You have ripped off the indigenous people of the world, why should they continue to make you richer by being a willing participant in your exploitation.

And if you can pull off that disappearance act, please do, but make it retroactive.

    C'mon now...get real...you can't call what they're paid a 'paycheck.'

For China, many of these workers get paid 31 cents an hour, and work 35 hours shifts to build your i-pads, and your i-phones, and a few of your computers.

Before taking you up on this, it wouldnt be fair to take advantage of your I am sure purposely faulty math without warning you. You probably couldnt afford it if Black taxpayers had to pay Black welfare cases.

Blacks make up less then 14% of the population, yet are 40% of the total welfare recipients.

Or another way to look at this fill a room with 10 people on welfare. Considering total population , I.E whites being 4 times higher in overall population then blacks then the room would consist of 7 Blacks on welfare, 1 white, 1 Latin and 1 other.

Pretty much what you can see with your own eyes.

So take it from there. I am sure the majority of the country would love to see a Black taxpayer pay for black welfare only program. Might cut down on entitlements though.

    AFDC figures.

Granny, you have to get those bifocals checked. You didnt read the whole thing. 1% difference, but Blacks make up less then 14 % of the population. Let me repeat that. Blacks claim 1 % more then Whites while only making up less then 14% of the population. Whites population is 4 times larger then Blacks. So you are talking 7 out of every 10 welfare claims are from Blacks over ALL races.

Now really, that can't be a surprise. It isnt to me. I don't think I know more then a few families that aren't getting welfare, foodstamps, or some housing and energy credits and NONE of those are included in these statistics. Are you really surprised?

I don't care what those stats say. It is mighty funny that when it comes to how many blacks exist in the total population of the USA, we are a small percentage compared to whites. However, any stat that will paint blacks with a negative brush such as prison for example, all of a sudden the percentages of those stats for black shoots sky high and always seems to outnumber whites. Whenever they need to pass a bill to hurt or deny some type of benefit to blacks those numbers seem to rise up.

Yup, I am very skeptic when it comes to stats.

Nah, I truly believe that stats when it comes to comparing whites and blacks is a tool to use against black people and for control purposes. And I haven't been convinced to change my mind about my belief either and don't think I will be in the future either because I've always had a suspicion about stats.

BTW, do you realize that Bush was the one to authorize the first TARP? And the Bailout for the Car Makers was not a failure and is working.
