would like to start this post by giving a shout out to my dear sister who just got back home to Seattle from a trip to the motherland. I wish I could have been there with her. Needless to say that she was overwhelmed by the experience.
She is the smartest of the two Bennett children (Doctor, Fulbright Scholar), she sings like an Angel, and she plays a mean piano to boot.
Sis, I am glad that you made it home in one piece, and I can’t wait to see the pictures.
So anyway, the NRA Convention is still in full effect down
in Houston, and it’s obvious that the
family that shoots together stays together in the mind of the [right] wingnut. In
between comparing government leaders to Hitler and calling for armed
resistance, there were 11 year old kids salivating over AR-15 rifles and
members as young as three soaking it all in. (BTW, I am still wondering why child endangerment charges weren't brought against that family in Kentucky. I am starting to think that Rikyrah was on to something when it comes to these Southern prosecutors.)
"Politics were in the air in Houston but not on the mind of Samuel Willie, 11, who was eying a black AR-15 — the same type of weapon Adam Lanza used Dec. 14 in the Newtown, Conn., school massacre that killed 20 children and six adults. “I want an AR-15 and a M1911,” said Samuel, of Nederland, Texas. “I like how they look.”Andrew Dietz let fly at the convention air-gun range. The 10-year-old from Gainseville, Texas, received a rifle for Christmas last year and said the firearm makes him feel safe. “If something tries to attack me,” he said, “I can get it out.”'
Riiight. I hear ya there little fella. But who will save your mommy and daddy when you decide to blow their brains out because they cut your cell phone privileges?
Honestly, you would think that these clowns in the NRA would spend most of their time at the convention talking about (and teaching) gun safety instead of trying to demagogue the issue. If they did, maybe we wouldn't have so many stories like the following:
"A Colorado Springs man shot himself Saturday while cleaning spilled soda off of his pistol, Colorado Springs police said.
The 24-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle near 1500 Meadow Peak View when he spilled the drink on his gun, police said. After wiping the gun down, he attempted to reinsert the magazine and accidentally fired the weapon." [Source]
Or this, and this, and this....I could go on, but I think you get the point.
Sadly, I think it's safe to say that the wingnuts will kill themselves and their own family members with their beloved guns before the evil government does.
*Pics from The New York Daily News.
If you guys are so overwhelmed, why not stay?
ReplyDeleteAnyway, "But who will save your mommy and daddy when you decide to blow their brains out because they cut your cell phone privileges?" is a ridiculous thing to say. But then again your posts are getting more and more ridiculous.
"A Colorado Springs man shot himself Saturday while cleaning spilled soda off of his pistol, Colorado Springs police said." More silly anecdotes. Yeah, and people run themselves and their children over with lawn mowers too. It's an accident of little import or meaning, like your blog, field.
Funny how when u guys are in charge the government is now looking out for us when last week it was dangerous.
Field, how are woman supposed to defend themselves from men without a gun?
It's really ugly out there in gun world but - - - this is where we're at and it's not gonna change for the better and it sucks a hind teat.
ReplyDeleteDid I fall down the rabbit's hole and wake up in Bizarre Wonderland? How can anyone who has a gun in a home and when a child gets of hold of it, kills someone and have it ruled as an accident? Where is the personal responsibility of the parent/parents? If years ago, I left the car running and run into a 7-11 to grab some milk and my toddler pulls down the gearshift; smashed the storefront wouldn't i be charged with recklessness and endangerment of a child? Since when does owning a firearm and the discharge by a child minimize the consequence? We are really sending out the wrong message about responsible gun ownership.
ReplyDeleteFN, I noticed that you failed to mention the guy who shot himself in the Houston airport. WHY? Could it have something to do with his skin color?
ReplyDeleteSome of us Conservative fans are counting on a 'fair and balanced' racial perspective, not a 'racist; one.
This is, however, FN posts and comments by FN Negroes, which makes the whole damn thing a pathetic lie. So I must make allowances. No wonder you tremble before truthful Conservatives. Truth is powerful and belongs to the Republicans.
But I know you leftist dem Negroes are doing the best you can. It takes many many years to become honest when you have lied all of your life.
Since when does ethnicity have anything to do with anything when you shoot yourself? ( I guess if you were Kryptonian it would.) Stupidity comes in all forms when ever you handle a firearm incorrectly.
ReplyDeleteTalk about grasping for straws.
Field, "I am starting to think that Rikyrah was on to something when it comes to these Southern prosecutors.)"
ReplyDeleteWho is Rikyrah? Come on, Field, be 'clear'.
"Riiight. I hear ya there little fella. But who will save your mommy and daddy when you decide to blow their brains out because they cut your cell phone privileges?"
ReplyDeleteField, you ought to quit. You know a responsible kid in a Conservative family would never do that.
Further more, you have got to know that kids need to know how to handle firearms as soon as possible so that they become better shooters as they age. That's all. It has nothing to do with shooting ANYONE, unless you are 'gang bangers' in the hood. Of course, that's another story....
Most parents in the hood don't know how to parent their kids like responsible parents know. This all comes down to know-how vs don't know...i.e., knowledge vs ignorance. Brotha PilotX, can I get an amen?
But brothers and sisters, please please don't be discouraged... Someday we will get to the 'promised land'. It might not be in this lifetime, but 'someday' we WILL get to the promised land. Bare in mind, nothing dies, just an end to a chapter and the beginning of a new one...We WILL get there. HOLD ON!
I hope I have inspired everyone.
Field, did you know that Glenn Beck is back on cable TV? The ratings are going to go through the roof! I can't wait.

ReplyDeletecheck this out.
Mr. Field, I would like to nominate Tyler The Creator as House Negro of the day. His Mountain Dew commercial should be enough evidence of his house negro status.
ReplyDeleteval
Val, I feel u on Tyler. And while we are at it let's go ahead and throw Lil Wayne into the mix as well.
ReplyDeleteAnon@8:36 pm, you are funny.

PilotX, This could be a potential bloobbath. All you need is some yahoo to fire a shot into the air and all hell will break loose. Especially if this takes place on the Mall.
"All you need is some yahoo to fire a shot into the air and all hell will break loose."
ReplyDeleteI'm sure that idea has occurred to Janet Napolitano too.
There is nothing the left loves more than a good bloodbath.
Any volunteers?
Hard to believe, but years ago they used to talk a lot about hunting & sport shooting, not so much about the possibility of having to kill National Guard & over-throwing the government. But there always were those types. My dad, though conservative, was quite uncomfortable around them.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure the NRA is an equal opportunity organization, I think more gangbangers from the hood and the papi cholos should join. Someone needs to give the good ole NRA a hand and start the recruiting process.
ReplyDeleteAnyway Field, can you hook me up with your sis (no, not in that way), I need someone to show me the ropes in Seattle. I seriously need to relocate there, it's too damn hot here. I need constant cool or rainy weather, it soothes my mind. Seriously, I need a hook up.
At least DesertFlower has a night in shining-boat trying to save her from P.R. (even though I suspect he's ship wrecked somewhere near Madagascar and won't admit it) but it's the thought that counts. I have no one.
Hey LA ! I'm dying over here! It's sooo hot and now the pollen is sky high and I'm on allergy and asthma meds, no bueno, no bueno...
ReplyDeleteNah, I think he's in India checking out the curry :)

ReplyDeleteDear Mr Field, I am sorry to say the anon who set sail from Atlantic City has drowned. Did you know him? He was the first Negro to sail from the Atlantic to the Pacific in search of a short cut to PR. You might say he was like a Black Columbus who loved to find new routes in the oceans.
ReplyDeleteWell, he found a new way, but it didn't quite lead to PR. It led to the Indian Ocean. Of course, being the 'quick study' that he was, he realized 'immediately' his mistake. Making a turn like a turn like a huge aircraft carrier he made the big turn around. Then it was full speed ahead back home.
After all that sailing from the Indian Ocean, to the Pacific, and then to the Atlantic 'back' to NJ he fell into the water while docking his boat. He was only six feet from the dock, which was a couple of swim strokes that would have saved his ass.
This is such a sad story. I can't stop crying for Desert because I know she is probably looking out her window for him. On the other hand, he can be a beacon to so many Negroes wanting to sail to PR.
There is a lesson here: leave those PR women alone.... R.I.P.
"Nah, I think he's in India checking out the curry :)"
ReplyDeleteIndia and Curry? Is that what he told you? He might be in Trinidad you know. For years he's been drifting in circles and drinking sea water, he might be confused. Poor thing. At least he would be closer. :)
Yeah, this heat is no bueno! I'm not even getting any sea breezes. The other night I took my A/C off and I woke up that morning delirious and panting. Not even kidding. Sigh. Take care of yourself chica!
Claude Balles, "Ha! You inflict that idiot LAA on your sister and she'll make family gatherings hell for you for the rest of your life!"
ReplyDeleteHave you ever heard of the Golden Rule? You practice it.
"After all that sailing from the Indian Ocean, to the Pacific, and then to the Atlantic 'back' to NJ he fell into the water while docking his boat. He was only six feet from the dock, which was a couple of swim strokes that would have saved his ass."
ReplyDeleteHe was only a few strokes from the dock? Then why didn't he take the strokes to save himself? This is a mystery, and deserves an investigation.
OH MY GOD! Nooooooooooooooppoooooo! It can't be!!! Poor, poor Anon!!!! This is all my fault *sob* how can I ever forgive myself!!! Waaaaasssaaaaaailllll!
ReplyDeleteHow could he drown! He said he was strong, and a good swimmer! He said he could rival that Olympic medal winner whatever his name was, I forget right now!
Yes an investigation, definitely, I suspect foul play!!!
*sob*
LA said....India and Curry? Is that what he told you? He might be in Trinidad you know"
ReplyDeleteYeah, this heat is no bueno! I'm not even getting any sea breezes. "
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think you may be right... I think he may even be faking his own drowning to get out of coming down and just roam around the globe doing as he pleases.....hmmmmmmmmmm
You know LA it's so hot down here it feels like I'm in an oven! These cement houses hold onto the heat !!! Take care and keep cool!
Murder, rape, child sexual abuse, pedophilia, hate, envy and terror coupled with a " riflemen/Clint Eastwood, " hang em high" mentality are in the DNA of the cavemen.
Moreover, nothing surprises me more than the ignorant Afrikans who have adopted the above behavior by choice. Hoping for a seat at the table
Now as far as my "ELOQUENT," sententious and inarticulate comment above is concerned, lmao i am learning some new words ;) Chill! your Gods are not done with me yet hehehehehe
OT:
ReplyDeleteFrom Miranda at POU:
Kiera Wilmot’s lawyer Larry D. Hardaway was on Joe Madison’s show this morning.
He said she hasn’t been expelled; she had a 10 day suspension. The state has not formally filed felony charges, and he doesn’t think they will. She’s presently in an alternative school.
Attorney said she received a 4 page doc from her bio teacher that said (and I’m paraphrasing) that the student have to come up with an experiment on their own to present to the class. Her classmates suggested this particular experiment. She was going to present this experiment to the class, but her friends said she should try it outside first.
She did not run away when the principal and assistant principal came.
It wasn’t an explosion; principal said it sounded like a firecracker.
State attorney has NOT filed charges.
They’re setting up a defense fund. Madison he will post the info on his Facebook page.
If you have SiriusXM, Madison’s show repeats at 8pm EST.
And this is regardless of race, lets be clear you are correct however, there is more painfully much more
It is clear that this enmity and malevolence for others has now been passed down to senor ghostsface own children.
For years the old story was the inner city Afrikan child and family. However, in the age of POTUS Obama how many Afrikan children murder in mass? Plan to murder in mass and believe its their right? duh!
The old innercity areas.
ReplyDeleteAs you stated so well in previous posts; it starts at home. Parents are the first teachers and ultimately the best. Sadly, those who have the political power still chooses to have "it's doesn't occur in my backyard; it's not my problem." mentality. So much for caring for it's populace.
You could be right! His confused brain may be why he didn't take those few strokes needed to reach the dock. But then again... I'm not so sure, he may have been murdered for insurance money, or a giant squid reached out a tentacle and pulled him under, or a sea monster? *sob* sniff*
Oh well...i guess I'll have to find someone else to help with chor ... ahem, cough, cough... I mean sightsee on the shores..RIP Anon, you valiant soul, I know you are here in spirit,
Well, well, well. Here's someone, obviously of 'color' trying to come down on Whites and their parenting. You have some nerve. Have you checked out the black kids in the black community lately? Everyday a few die IN THE STREETS. What about that? Got anything to say about that?
Of course not. You have never look at your own problems, let alone cared about black kids. You really ought to STFU.
Desert, "How could he drown! He said he was strong, and a good swimmer! He said he could rival that Olympic medal winner whatever his name was, I forget right now!"
ReplyDeleteHe lied to you. That anon didn't know how to swim. Obviously he was a Field Negro anon because they lie a lot...They received additional training from Field himself and a few other Leftist cohorts.
Dear Desert, next time get an 'honest' bm, if you can find one. The last honest one was Clarence Thomas . He is a shining light for all to follow. Call Anon Inc. They might be able to hook you up. They've got everything...for a price.
NOOOOOOzooopooooooooooooooooo
ReplyDeleteYou're wrong he's not a liar and niether is Field!
Anon ran into foul play and I'm beginning to suspect YOU!
Yes youuuuuuuuu! You're the jealous Anon! And I'm already in the Fieldharmony. Com data base, but if you have an Anonmatch you can add me too.
I'm on all of them, Harmony, Christian, something called BDSM, (not sure but I think that stands for Buff, Desirable, Sexy Males:) and even that new one Farmers.com!!!
This request is not for myself, but on behalf of a
friend.
She would be very interested in acquiring a list of the aforementioned "everything" with the corresponding prices.
Thank you,
Yours truly Desertflower, on behalf of a friend.
I love how gun nuts spout all this family values and responsible gun ownership crap.
Well Melissa, if the parents are wack jobs like most white folks are.. i ask why YOU why did they have children?
I say and say again that hate murder and mayhem are in the DNA of most white folks, from cradle to grave And they would do well to focus on thier own vs the Afrikan.
And if one looks at Houston, we can see my point A yahoo with a huge gut, a tpt cracker, a truck, a gun and a dog Insane? lmao
Who does that? White folks with guns
