The King of New Jersey, and Phil talks to some of his closest friends.

Chris Christie 2011 Shankbone.JPGSo let me get this straight; Governor Krispy Kreme cut payments to pension plans in New Jersey and delayed property tax rebates. And yet, he gave 27 (TWENTY SEVEN) of his own staff members raises, recently.

"Gov. Chris Christie in the last two months gave raises to the staff members who run his press shop, his schedule and his public appearances, according to a report by The Record.

Of the 27 staff members who got their salary bumped, 24 are aides who set the stage at his town halls, handle his image in the media or schedule his events.
Some of the biggest raises went to Kevin Roberts, a spokesman for the governor, and Dan Robles, a personal assistant who travels with Christie. Each started receiving an extra $35,000 this year, according to data obtained by The Record.

After leaving government last year to serve as a spokesman for Christie's re-election campaign, Roberts is now back in the governor's office as a deputy communications director earning $110,000 a year. Robles is now the director of planning, making $115,000 a year.

"Changes in salary in the main reflect changes in position, promotions, or expanded job responsibilities for these staff members," Christie spokesman Michael Drewniak told the newspaper. (Drewniak's salary was bumped up nearly 4 percent, to $134,000 a year.)"

It must be nice to be King.

Meanwhile the poor people of New Jersey who suffered through Hurricane Sandy have still not been made whole.

HANDOUT IMAGE: Phil Robertson in A&E's 'Duck Dynasty' returning for season 4 August 14 at 10PM ET/PT. (Photo by Karolina Wojtasik Copyright 2013)Finally, congrats to the folks who put together the republican Leadership Conference for getting a real live television star to appear for their big get together in the Big Easy. (No, not Donald, although he was there as well.)

My man Phil Robertson, who declared that the Negro was doing pretty good back in the Jim Crow days, was talking Jesus, the bible, and  guns to his fellow travelers.

"Phil Robertson, star of the A&E network’s hit reality television series “Duck Dynasty,” came to New Orleans on Thursday preaching the Bible and the gun to a group of jubilant Republicans.

He had a few words for President Barack Obama as well. “We’re up against evil like I’ve never seen in my life,” he said. “I’m sitting there and I’m thinking, ‘What’s coming out of the White House?’ The only thing I can tell you folks is it’s just downright embarrassing.”

Robertson was catapulted into conservative politics last year after A&E briefly suspended him for making disparaging remarks about homosexuals and suggesting in a GQ magazine interview that blacks in the South were happy during the Jim Crow era. But he offered no new grist for scandal in New Orleans on Thursday, quoting George Washington and John Adams to bolster his case that America is a Christian nation, but keeping well within the GOP tent in his views on the separation of church and state." [Source]

But there seemed to be some good that came from Phil's speech to the faithful.

"He even went out of his way to discourage racist attitudes. 'There’s one race on this planet, and it’s called the human race,' he said. 'Therefore you have no right to color-code anyone. We’re all the same family.”'

You tell em Uncle Phil. And you are just a walking billboard for tolerance. Not!

Phil is a true Christian whose faith follows the Bible. You cannot criticize him for that. Phil's statement about all humans belonging to the same race is better than anything I have heard from 'either' political party.

Re: Homosexuality...According to the Bible, homosexuality is 'unnatural' and is a sin.

However, from a secular worldly perspective, everybody has free will and can do whatever they want to do with their lives.

It still won't, however, change GOD'S Spiritual Law, though. There are no amends to HIS perfect Law.

So. Hows about this for a statistic:
The white race will soon be a minority because the white woman refuses to have children which will hopefully lead to the destruction of the white race. BWAAAAAAHAHAHAAAAA. Tick Tock butthead

  7. Didn't the King of New Jersey serve the Emperor of the Negroes well enough in helping him keep his crown? His loving embraces, his arm-in-arm stroll down the beach mere days before the people spake, did lift the Emperor to victory over the cursed Earl of Utah.

So why doth the King of New Jersey get so reamed by the Emperor's hangers-on?

The Emperor spied on his own people, used regulatory agencies to harass critics, got an ambassador killed illegally running guns to Al Qaeda, sacrificed veteran's lives in order to pay off union cronies, and has driven the country back into recession.

One of the King of New Jersey's minions closed a lane on a bridge for a day to get back at a mayor, causing a traffic jam.

For this he has been banished to spend the rest of his days in New Jersey.

Now he is pilloried for giving his loyal servants a few pennies more.

    When is enough enough?

Hey, Christie has to spend big on PR to try and blast away all the corruption stink swirling around him. I don't think any amount of money will successfully deodorize him before the 2016 elections, but he's sure gonna try.

As for Robertson, I figure he's angling for a touring gig on the wingnut convention circuit after his show gets cancelled -- which will undoubtedly be soon, as the ratings are plummeting. Who knew that the viewing public would rapidly get tired of a show about a bunch of rich assholes pretending to be hillbillies and their boring duck call business?

In the very near future, you can expect to hear this angry old beardo misquoting scripture and preaching dumb fantasies about liberty and armed revolution to the other angry beardos at a gun show near you.

No, the GOP only takes negroes who understand dollar signs. I hear they pay quite handsomely for a black person with absolutely no dignity, who is willing to act as a ventriloquist dummy with Reince Priebus' or Karl Rove's hand up his backside.

I hear there's bonus pay for saying fool things such as that Dems have "brainwashed" black people or are imprisoning them on a plantation. These don't win over any black voters whatsoever, but racist whites really eat that shit up like with a side of biscuits and gravy.

No, this won't happen because Phil is not who you might think he is. He meant every word he said about "ONE" human race...not a White race or a Black race, but ONE race. We are all brothers and sisters and I am grateful to Phil for standing up for noble thoughts. Which FN Negroes no nothing about.

PX has NEVER had a noble thought in his life. But please understand that PX was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. PTSD and depression is very common there.

To make matters worse, PX is an atheist. The man has no faith. So looking objectively at him, the man it totally screwed. But, he is not alone on FN. Look at Dr Nuwang...need I say more?

Cut the people's pension? Wait a minute does he not know that when people retire, except for the rich, that their income is reduced. Retirees don't get the same amount of money they made when they were working. That income income is reduced. Unless they invested in some savings bonds, time certificates or stocks, real estate, etc. to supplement their retirement check.

  25. Good post today...I'm glad the spotlight is being shown on this guys arrogance and corruption.. Mercer County orange jumpsuit is a fine ending for his all of his shenanigans...Last month he tries to shame Colorados tax revenue from Cannabis, and the very next week hes trying to explain NJ'S 800 Million dollar budget deficit ...and a credit downgrade for the entire state because of it... Good to see his political misdoings cave in around him...

  28. Mr. Christy is a bully. In their secret heart of hearts, all bullies are cowards. Thats how you can tell a bully like Christy: they always punch down as he does to make a point.

Mr. Robertson is a bigot and a fantasist. To him, people unlike him are mere abstractions and projections particularly black people who remain, in his mind, the childlike 3/5 of a pseudo-person upon whose exploitation his culture was formed.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Anonymous8:15 PM

Phil Robertson and family worked in the cotton fields with Blacks. He even said he came from a family of white trash. He told the truth and also indicated that he never met a black man in the cotton fields who wasn't singing and smiling. To him, Blacks were a very happy lot during the Jim Crow days.

As a bm, in a strange way, Phil has a point when it comes to Blacks being happier during the Jim Crow days than today. Today, Blacks are very unhappy and on the brink of hopelessness.

So you can look at Phil and criticize him, but you need to look at US, and where WE are going. From where I'm standing, we are headed to hell.
