Finally, some right wing suggestions for immigration reform, and Jamycheal Mitchell's life mattered as well.

Image result for immigration wall images*I thought that immigration reform was a serious subject. If it is, why are some of the GOP candidates saying such crazy things?

Let's start with Scott Walker. This dude things that it might be cool to build a wall on the Canadian US border. You heard that right; a northern wall.

"Republican presidential candidate and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker said on Sunday that a wall along the border between the United States and Canada is a "legitimate issue" to consider.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has said that he would build a wall along the border between Mexico and the U.S. to curb illegal immigration — and has vowed that Mexico would foot the bill.

NBC's "Meet The Press" host Chuck Todd asked Walker on the Sunday program if he would consider building a wall along the country's northern border.

Walker said that some people along the campaign trail have raised the issue.

"They raised some very legitimate concerns, including some law enforcement folks that brought that up to me at one of our town hall meetings about a week and a half ago. So that is a legitimate issue for us to look at," Walker told Todd." [Source]

Sorry Scott, this issue is a loser for you. Did you forget that "Mexican is the new black?" Please take a closer look at the racial makeup of the folks up in Canada. They don't look anything like the Mexicans.

And then there is Chris Christie. His idea is just as outrageous. (Man Trump has these guys tripping over themselves to out crazy him.)

"Christie said Saturday that if elected president, he will track undocumented immigrants like FedEx packages.

"I'm going to have Fred Smith, the founder of FedEx, come work for the government for three months. Just come for three months to Immigration and Customs Enforcement and show these people," the New Jersey governor said at a town hall event here.
Christie added that while FedEx can track boxes, the U.S. can't track undocumented immigrants.
"You go online and at any moment, FedEx can tell you where that package is," he said. "Yet we let people come into this country with visas, and the minute they come in, we lose track of them."
Christie added, "We need to have a system that tracks you from the moment you come in and then when your time is up," he said. "However long your visa is, then we go get you and tap you on the shoulder and say, 'Excuse me, it's time to go.'" [Source]
Chris, I am going to use your own words on you: "Excuse me, it's time to go."
Image result for jamichael mitchell jail images virginia**Finally, if you were wondering why all the hue and cry about "black lives matter",  this story might help you to better understand.
"A young black man arrested by police in Portsmouth, Virginiahas been found dead in his jail cell after spending almost four months behind bars – without bail –  for stealing $5 worth of groceries.
Early Wednesday,  Jamycheal Mitchell, who had mental health problems, was discovered lying on the floor of his cell by guards. Prison officials say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
“As of right now it is deemed ‘natural causes’,” said Natasha Perry, the master jail officer at the Hampton Roads regional jail in Portsmouth. Yet Portsmouth police are looking into the circumstances surrounding the death of the 24-year-old.
On April 22nd, Mitchell was accused of stealing a bottle of Mountain Dew, a Snickers bar and a Zebra Cake worth a total of $5 from a 7-Eleven. His family reportedly believes he starved to death after refusing meals and medication at the jail, where he was being held on misdemeanor charges of petty larceny and trespassing.
“His body failed,” said Roxanne Adams, Mitchell’s. “It is extraordinary. The person I saw deceased was not even the same person.” Adams, who is a registered nurse, said Mitchell had practically no muscle mass left and had lost about 65lbs by the time of his death. [Source]

  1. If you have to ask why the Blah Lives matters movement is important this isn't the site for you. Hearing about what goes on in Ferguson that shit is completely insane. They give out $250 citations for jaywalking! Then on top of that they add another $250 for not using the crosswalk. Who has an extra $500 because some cop is being an asshole? The problem there is a lack of residence rules. If a someone wants to be a Ferguson cop they should live there. We had residency rules in the city I grew up in and we didn't have these problems. Even the white cops had to live in the city limits and it worked to everyone's benefit. It would stop the insanity.

  5. Although much of immigration reform borders on the kind of rhetoric that's often mean-spirited, not sure I agree Gov. Chris Christie's proposal is totally baseless.

Since part of undocumented immigration is due to expired visa status, Gov. Christie brings up a valid point about any longterm reforms including the proper oversight for tracking visas due to expire.

And funny how Scott Walker stopped short of proposing the Canadians to pay for constructing a wall around the northern border.

Also extending thoughts and prayers to all families enduring the grief of loved ones dying so many months and years in jail cells under questionable circumstances.

In citing all Black Lives Matters at the forefront of this issue, a call to the FN Family about a Facebook video created by Ferguson grandmother Peggy Hubbard. The video has garnered millions of views and led to Ms. Hubbard's appearance on Don Lemon's CNN show. More than expressing frustration and anger about the drive-by that killed a nine year-old little girl, Ms. Hubbard's position is BLM is BS, protesting police brutality when it's "thugs" that are making the choice to die in their encounters with the police.

Ms. Hubbard has been hailed as the female "Bill Cosby" and you would not believe the number of conservative commentary in support of Peggy Hubbard for president.

Why am I uneasy? Is it because that once again the greater community is failing to showcase the many organizations throughout urban American that are rallying for resources and engaged one-on-one to stem the tide of urban violence?

I believe Trump's plan to get Mexico to pay for a wall involves putting tariffs on Mexican imports, if they don't pay voluntarily. And tariffs might be the only way to get jobs back, but the problems are Trump incites racism and he's a fool. Anybody who goes to John Bolton for advice has no business being in any public office. Jeb Bush goes to him too. Bolton is a war criminal who should be arrested. He bullied CIA people to falsify intelligence. Most of the rest of the Republicans aren't any better. Lindsey Graham kept looking down at his notes in the debate. All he had to say was, attack Iran. He needed notes for that?

Conservatism and racism are synonymous. Racism against Hispanics will cause civil unrest and injustice. Their Islamophobia will cause wars. Let's deport conservatives instead of Mexicans.

I think Fedex tracks packages by scanning them. They aren't scanned while they are in transit in the back of a truck. They are scanned when they are loaded and unloaded. I suppose they could put some kind of tracking device in a VISA card, but it seems like people would throw the soon to expire VISA away if they wanted to stay. If visitors have to wear ankle bracelets, kiss all the legitimate tourism goodbye.

  25. "The Justice Department's report details how Ferguson operated a vertically integrated system -- from street cop to court clerk to judge to city administration to city council -- to raise revenue for the city budget through increased ticketing and fining.

Ferguson's budget increases were so sizable that city officials exhorted police and court staff to levy more and more fines and tickets against violators, who turned out to be largely African-American, the Justice Department said.

The demands for revenue were so intense that the police department had "little concern with how officers do this," even disciplining officers who failed to issue an average of 28 tickets a month, the Justice Department report said.

Officers competed "to see who could issue the largest number of citations during a single stop," the Justice Department said.

One apparent winner was an officer who issued 14 tickets at a single encounter, according to the federal investigation report.

Many police stops of civilians "have little relation to public safety and a questionable basis in law," the report said."

One poignant observation is the significant economic and human rights costs deporting this many people perceived to be draining American jobs, especially at the expense of black Americans.

Two challenges impacting policymakers are (1) implementing effective solutions to resolve an immigration crisis several decades in the making; and (2) ensuring our borders are protected so migrants are not bypassing the proper channels ahead of others seeking citizenship.

I am personally much more bothered by stories like Jamycheal Mitchell's than I am by a lot of the police shooting stories.

The truth is that we'll never get down to zero unjustified police shootings of black men (or any other citizens) by reforming the police alone. We can do better, through improved hiring, training, and accountability. But cops will always screw up. They will make bad, split-second decisions concerning the need to defend themselves. They will make bad choices about how much force to employ in the course of making an arrest.

And unless we can change economic policies in this country and do something about the huge flow of guns, the violent crime rate in the black community will not go down significantly; as a consequence, the presence of police in the black community will remain heavy and aggressive, and the high number of daily (and often hostile) interactions between blacks and police will continue to present opportunities for those deaths to occur.

I see this as a difficult problem to address, because there are simply so many different variables to change, which all contribute to unnecessary deaths at the hands of police. It's not simply a matter of "cops need to stop being racist."

What happened to Jamycheal Mitchell, however, is not complicated at all. Four months in jail without trial, over a $5 theft?! How was this guy not arraigned and granted bail for that immediately? Did he not have any kind of attorney? Not even a public defender to go to bat for him? And if those details about his health are true, how does a jail allow a mentally ill inmate to starve to death?

This guy dropped into a complete black hole in the justice system. Failures galore. Violation of his 6th Amendment right to a speedy trial (and probably his right to an attorney).

A similar situation happened with Kalief Browder, who recently killed himself over the ridiculously unnecessary trauma he suffered -- three years in jail at Rikers, waiting for trial over a stolen backpack? WTF?! And that's before you get into the abuse he suffered at the hands of inmates and guards.

    http://abc7chicago.com/news/innocent-teen-jailed-3-years-because-he-couldnt-afford-bail-kills-self/774857/

These sorts of things should just never happen. They are entirely avoidable. Extreme justice system dysfunction like this fills me with disgust.

John McWhorter wrote this, in the New York Sun:

One reason black America has reached this point is, ironically, the eclipse of open racism and segregation.

When all black people had to huddle together and make the best of the worst, there was no room for calisthenic acting up. When the community had to generate its self-respect from within, black boys looking black girls in the eye and calling them bitches for fun was unthinkable. A black teen jaywalking for the fun of showing that he could, might have been beaten by the police.

These days there is more room for acting out. All humans like acting out when they can. Poor and working class black teens are no exception, and thus they do.

But the reason these youngsters have elevated this attitude into an identity is because the civil rights movement freed blacks into an America that had just made the upturned middle finger into an icon of higher awareness.

In other words, Jim Crow was the “lid,” and the Great Society “lifted the lid.” I couldn’t agree more, but I’m wondering where all the white journalists and commentators are saying things like these.

You're right about something for once, Bill. The lion's share of the blame for raising revenue through fines on the poor, rather than through taxes on the middle class and wealthy, lies with the elected government, not the police. The police were merely the bagmen in this unethical scheme.

Do you believe only poor Black people are targeted by the government?

    No, there is not.

Blacks tend to speed, jaywalk, litter, loiter etc. more than other groups. If anything, they are cited less than their percentage of the offending population would warrant.

And, as blacks benefit more than other groups by the centralization of authority in government hands and by the confiscation of resources by a redistributionist regime, they really have nothing to complain about.

Blacks have pledged their loyalty (at rates above 95%) to the transfer of all power to the government and the destruction of individual property rights, this in return for the security offered by a meager cut of the spoils.

This is what you wanted, this is what you get.

Ok, besides the almost reflexive blah people shaming that is required by trolls don't you think $250 is a bit excessive for jaywalking? Or how about a city using its citizens as cash sources? Does that give you a tiny sense of maybe not outrage but disbelief?

No black people pay $250 jaywalking tickets.

They don't even pay their utility bills.

Looks like the hateful, violent rhetoric coming fron the Soros created/funded 'blahlivesmatter' movement has caused another blah to develop angry blah man syndrome and ambush and murder a white cop because he is a white cop.

No doubt this angry blah man will be a Democrat, Obama supporter and read such blogs like this one.

    CNN is pushing an agenda...

    Never mind.

The findings come from interviews conducted in person and over the phone with 25 people
    ...
most of whom lived in the northeast United States

    The pattern continues.

I'm reading all this debate about this fine and that!

    Let me illuminate.

The fine is def given to poor people okay!

Then when the poor person can't pay it and goes to renew his or her license, guess what?

There's the fine/fines popping up added to whatever other fee is required for renewal!

So guess what? Can' get the license renewed, driving around without a license to work and obligations. Get's stopped by cop. Gets arrested or killed by cop. and taken to jail where he/she may either die on the way or while in custody!!!

    Capishe??? O todavia no comprendes???

    The pattern repeats!!!

They do that here too. That's why I know.

The only difference is that here the cops, thank GOD, DO NOT KILL THE PEOPLE FOR TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS/STOPS!!!

"They don't even pay their utility bills."

Show of hands, how many blah people here pay their utility bills?
My wife worked for the electric company in rural Ohio and it seems there were a lot of whites who don't pay their utility bills. Lots of dark trailers.

  59. "Lots of dark trailers."

That's because poor white folk who don't pay their bills get shut off. The utility companies are not allowed to turn off black people's power, which is why they don't pay their bills.

In Detroit, nobody has paid their water bills for years. When the city threatened to start shutting off the water, the UN called it a human rights violation and the city backed down.

Black people have a right to white people's money; white people have the responsibility of paying their bills.

"What happened to Jamycheal Mitchell, however, is not complicated at all.

This guy dropped into a complete 'black hole' in the justice system.

WTF?! And that's before you get into the abuse he suffered at the hands of inmates and guards

These sorts of things should just never happen. They are entirely avoidable. Extreme justice system dysfunction like this fills me with disgust."

    8:29 AM
    ---------------------
FYI, they ARE entirely avoidable...FOR WHITES. For Blacks, however, they are not avoidable because the justice system is an 'injustice system' specially designed for Blacks for over 400 years.

It's called the "niggerization" of Blacks by black scholars as well as some white scholars on race in America.

It means that Blacks are unsafe, unprotected, subject to random violence, and most of all, hated for who they are. While it tends to happen to poor Blacks make no mistake it happens to non-poor ones as well.

In other words, we have a "niggarized" social and justice system in America where Blacks are so scared that they defer to the powers that be and consent to the domination of those powers.

There have been example after example, as you have provide two. However, Blacks like yourself and others merely complain and say "it never should have happened". Yet Blacks DO NOTHING about it because they succumb to the domination of white power.

Blacks at all socioeconomic levels are scared to death of white power. And that fear has paralyzed the black community for centuries. "Courage" is in short supply in the black community. Hence, the powers will continue to "niggarize" the black community over and over again for as long as Blacks remain stultified.

There will be no relief as long Blacks do nothing.

That must be in the constitution or something right? I swear you white racists are fucking dumb. Don't you have better things to do than post dumb, racist shit like screw your momma?

Yes, specifically the 14th amendment, which mandates everything must be given to blacks.

    Look it up.
