I remember, heck I was one of the people doing the name calling.
But here is the thing: I don't remember the democrat running to take his place in the White House ever engage in that type of rhetoric against then president Bush.
Fast forward to 2016, and sadly, we cannot say the same thing for the man running to occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue on behalf of the republican party.
My fellow Americans, the Donald trump meltdown continues.
He is now declaring that the president of the United States founded ISIS, and that he is their MVP.
"In many respects, you know, they honor President Obama," Trump said at a rally in Florida. "He's the founder of ISIS. He's the founder of ISIS. He's the founder. He founded ISIS."
Trump continued: "I would say the co-founder would be crooked Hillary Clinton."
Talk about playing to the lowest common denominator of your followers. No wonder a confederate flag was brought out at his rally in Florida today. The people who brought that flag to the rally thought that they would be able to get their racism on in peace. Racism without all the "PC" crap that folks like to throw in their faces.

"Something that it's not"? Sorry big guy, that big fat confederate flag tells me all I need to know. Not only about you, but about your candidate as well.

It was only a matter of time until this happened. I can only feel sorry for Mike Pence, he has got to be wondering what the hell he signed up for. I think we have to somewhat blame John McCain for all of this for choosing Moosy McHillbilly as his running mate and rousing all the rabble. Who are they going to run next? The cast of Duck Dynasty?

Obama did found ISIS. John McCain was the biggest cheerleader. Advocates like Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta had Obama's ear, but ultimately the fault is Obama's. He was in charge. A recently declassified Pentagon Information Intelligence Report that was written in August of 2012, told what groups they were funding and even predicted that they would go into Iraq from Syria. One of the main "moderate rebel" groups they funded was Al Qaeda in Iraq. The others were Sunni extremists too. The report predicted the "moderate rebels" would cross into Iraq because the Iraqi Sunni population across the border from Syria would provide safe harbor.

That would work nicely except for the 27% of the electorate who are insane. They have to be represented by someone too, and pandering to them is far too lucrative for them to ever be just ignored. We need to find a way to keep them from making the country ungovernable, while still representing their interests like everyone else's.

Let them keep their objects that they feel justified in hanging- I feel that removing all images of past will have a negative effect on the African Americans. Once the removal is complete we feel the master has finally "love me". I want these flags to remain in place UNTIL the master, without prompting, take them down. From experience, I know that after Jim Crow, the master has used other means- psychological and physical- to keep a boot on our necks. No one will give you power, living in America 400 plus years we SHOULD be masters of our destiny. Being a Black Panther, I look for the day when we are no longer afraid of their (and ours?) symbols.

And yes, I have no problems with anyone not liking African Americans, WE DO SET THE EXAMPLE DAILY for the dislike. Don't they tell you daily to hate someone that they have abused for centuries. He had a 1% chance of winning the primaries. But you really know, in your diseased, enlarged heart, he's inevitable.
He won the primaries because they are Republicans. You didn't see any liberals saying he could never win the primaries. Liberals have been trying to tell you for forty years that someone like Trump would win if you keep filling your party up with bigots and racists. The gop is freaking the fuck out because they are losing to Hillary by double digits in a bunch of gop held congressional districts, and they know a wave election when they see one. So now they are trying to get the RNC to stop spending on Trump, who is toast anyway, and spend on down ballot races instead to maybe save the house. They may succeed, as the gerrymandering makes the house a heavy lift, but it is now winnable by the Democrats, and they know it, or they wouldn't be freaking out in public about it.
