Someone I respect, and who happens to be a regular reader of my blog, confronted me today and wanted to know why I was being so hard on Donald trump.
"You have been relentless in your criticism of this guy. I follow you on twitter and you are even harder on him over there."
Guilty as charged. But I need folks to understand that my utter contempt for the man is not based on some type of ideological or political hatred. The truth is, if the republican nominee for president was say Jeb Bush, Jon Huntsman, John Thune, or John Kasich I might disagree with some of their policies, but I would not believe, as I do with trump, that they would be totally unfit to hold the office.
I am sorry, but as a person of color, red flags go up for me when I hear the head of the American Nazi party say that a trump victory would be an "opportunity for white nationalist". Or, when black folks are openly called the n-word by trump supporters at his rallies, and when he tries to question the legitimacy of the first African American president by questioning where he was born. When I consider all of these things, I have to question the sanity of African- Americans who would actually support the man.
But it's not only me, well respected republicans are running away from the guy faster than Usain Bolt in Rio. And the polls are starting to show that the rest of Americans are coming to their senses as well. Donald loves to talk about polls, but he is down double digits to Hillary in most polls and is tied with her in states like Georgia, which is a state that republicans have been winning since Jimmy Carter left office.
"Come on man, get on the Trump-train, there is room for everybody."
I'll pass. I got a glimpse of the operator, and I don't like what I see.

Bill Clinton won Georgia in '92, so they did vote for one Democrat since Carter, but Trump is toast, and W notwithstanding, anyone who ever believed otherwise needs to lower the dose of hate radio, Fox news, and Alex Jones until America starts to look real again.

Who woulda' thunk it, the very people Trump wanted to deport ended his chances of winning!
ReplyDeleteHi Field! Really, some crybaby says you're too tough on Drumpf? Give me a break. If you can't take the heat, son..... How about this:
ReplyDelete1) The guy obviously has early on-set Dementia/Alzheimers. I've been around these folks a lot the last few years at my Mom's ALF (assisted living facility). Go listen to the word salad in that George S. interview last week....he's non-nonsensical. It's obvious his brain is not working right.
2) Take his 3,500 lawsuits and divide by 52 years as an "adult" (Ok, technically an adult)...that's 1.3 new lawsuits each week since he turned 18. Does 1.3 new lawsuits...each week....for 52 years strike anybody as a bit odd?!??!
Keep up the good work Field. Screw the naysayers....they're jealous.

After months of an unprecedented media distortion campaign against Trump and a concerted effort to cover for Hillary's crimes and negligence, Trump is only 3 points down.
ReplyDeleteAfter the debates he'll be 10 points up.
Many people are saying that Hillary Clinton does not have the strength or the stamina to be our president.
ReplyDeleteShe is brain damaged. Huma Abedin said Hillary is often confused.
She is a pathological liar who said yesterday that her brain "short circuited".
She is a criminal who sold 20% of US uranium to Russia for $200 million to her foundation and a million to her husband.
She will never be President.
Don't think of it as deliberately repeating lies for months on end to gaslight your fellow citizens. Think of it as "correcting the record."
ReplyDeleteTrump hit a home run today with his economic speech. This should end media complaints about lack if details. A vivid pro growth speech!
ReplyDeleteTrump may lose Utah, fer crissakes, what are you smoking?

Hey Trump, go find yourself you mother lover!
ReplyDeleteI'm confident in Hillary all day every day! Go Hillary!

ReplyDelete"But it's not only me, well respected republicans are running away from the guy faster than Usain Bolt in Rio."
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, George P. Bush (son of El Jeb) just endorsed him.
"Donald loves to talk about polls, but he is down double digits to Hillary in most polls"
Those polls are frauds. They are crafted to produce the results desired by those who pay for them, and what they want now is a horse race so they can sell more ads. The reality is that news of Hitlery's ill-health and bizarre behavior is getting around, and Trump is polling close to 70% nationwide.
Team Hitlery is so desperate they are trying to get Puerto Ricans to move to Florida to vote for her. Maybe Trump will make PR independence a priority; cut that island of losers loose.

It was simply a re-hash of Scott Walker's economic plan. You know, the same Scott Walker whose Wisconsin economic performance ranged between 41st and 44th best of all states.

I didn't bother you. Show me where I made a "Racist" remark.
And then...drop dead."
Looks like I touched a raw nerve there, didn't I boys and girls?
But seriously Luitenant (can I call you Looty?) what WOULD you do all day? Supposing you had been born in a post Racial world, who would you hate? You obviously have a psychological need to hate, so who would it be?
(Incidentally the idiot wants me to "show him" where he made a racist remark. Fuck me sideways, could he be any more delusional?)
The media covers up Clinton's war crimes. Real investigative journalists have reported Clinton Foundation pay to play weapons deals, her support of ISIS, and the theft of the primary election. You sure aren't going to hear about her support of ISIS on corporate news, because the Republicans and the media's war profiteer sponsors were for that too. Remember Howard Dean's "scream"? The media got rid of him by showing it over and over with the crowd noise edited out. He wanted to break up big media. They got rid of Sanders and they are trying to get rid of Trump. If they had their way Hillary would be running against the PNAC Committee member who stole the 2000 election, Jeb Bush. That way they couldn't lose.

I'm sure you can get better weed than I can.
And Trump is going to win. Watch, and learn.
Public Policy Research has polled Trump supporters, the results are, ummmmmm, interesting.
ReplyDelete"-69% of Trump voters think that if Hillary Clinton wins the election it will be because it was rigged, to only 16% who think it would be because she got more vote than Trump. More specifically 40% of Trump voters think that ACORN (which hasn't existed in years) will steal the election for Clinton.
-48% of Trump voters think that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton deserve the blame for Humayun Khan's death to 16% who absolve them and 36% who aren't sure one way or the other (Obama was in the Illinois Legislature when it happened.)
-Even though Trump ended up admitting it didn't exist 47% of his voters say they saw the video of Iran collecting 400 million dollars from the United States to only 46% who say they didn't see the video.
-Trump said last week that Hillary Clinton is the devil, and 41% of Trump voters say they think she is indeed the devilto 42% who disagree with that sentiment and 17% who aren't sure one way or the other."
Trump will not win. The American people are too smart for that.
ReplyDeleteSeddique Mir Mateen, the father of the man blamed for the Orlando nightclub massacre, attended Hillary Clinton's campaign rally in Kissimmee, Florida, Monday. He's seen in video as one the people chosen to be seated in the crowd behind Clinton on stage.
ReplyDeleteHis son Omar Mateen, 29, killed 49 people and wounded dozens of others in the worst mass shooting in recent U.S. history.
Anyone wonder how the media would react to Dylan Roof's father showing up at a Trump rally to offer his endorsement?

ReplyDelete"Trump said last week that Hillary Clinton is the devil,"
Figure of speech, Einstein. Don't wet yourself like a little girl.
Hillary is feeble and confused. Huma Abedin said so. Hillary herself said her brain short circuited. She has to have a medical officer by her side constantly, ready to inject her with diazepam if she starts having a seizure. She is going to collapse before November. She belongs in a nursing home, not the White House.
ReplyDeleteChoose strength over weakness. Make America Great Again.
Why won't Hillary release her Goldman Sachs speech transcripts?
ReplyDeleteSeddique Mateen is just one of the many Americans who have lost a loved one to police violence and realize Hillary will stand up for them.
ReplyDeleteThe B-I-B-L-E. Yes that's the book for me.
ReplyDeleteThese Trump crazies think mass immigration, war, and DC corruption are hurting America, but the real culprits are Vladimir Putin and racism.
ReplyDeleteAnon@12:22, I agree with u. Do u agree that trump should release his tax returns?
ReplyDeleteYes, the birther thing is a total disqualifier. No further study needed. Either Trump
ReplyDeletea) knew full well Obama was a citizen but thought challenging him was an easy, totally cynical way to get press attention, something he craves even more than the respect of intelligent people; or
b) he was, and is, beyond stupid.
The manipulative cynic or the intellectually challenged. Take your pick. Or run from both!
Can't wait for Hussein Obama to be out of office. This country needs a real leader.
ReplyDeleteTrump is losing college educated white women by 30 points, and Romney won them by six and still got his ass kicked. Trump is toast.

ReplyDeleteBut also knew he applied for college (Occidental, Columbia and Harvard) as a foreign student.

ReplyDeleteIf Hillary cannot vet a terrorist's dad in her VIP seats, how can she vet 10k Syrian "refugees"?

ReplyDeleteYes but do the 41% of Trump's supporters know that?
It's a sad day in America when Hillary Clinton is the lesser of two evils.
ReplyDeleteEXCLUSIVE: Child rape victim comes forward for the first time in 40 years to call Hillary Clinton a 'liar' who defended her rapist by smearing her, blocking evidence and callously laughing that she knew he was guilty
ReplyDelete'Hillary Clinton is not for women and children,' says Kathy Shelton, 54, who was 12 years old when she was raped by Thomas Alfred Taylor in Arkansas
Clinton was the rapist's defense lawyer, pleading him down to 'unlawful fondling of a minor'
The 41-year-old drifter served less than a year in prison
The plea came after Clinton was able to block the admission of forensic evidence that linked her client to the crime [She did this by lying that a forensic expert had said the evidence was unreliable, when in fact he said no such thing.]
Shelton says she's furious that Clinton has been portraying herself as a lifelong advocate of women and girls on the campaign trail
Clinton accused Shelton of 'seeking out older men' in the case and demanded that she undergo a grueling court-ordered psychiatric examination
The presidential candidate later laughed while discussing aspects of the case in a recently-unearthed audiotaped interview from the 1980s
Read on. It's pretty bad. The rapists lured the 12 year-old girl -- I guess she was "seeking out older men" -- into a van, then raped her so badly she needed to get stitches in her vagina.
She cannot bear children due to the attack.
In related news, Trump punched a baby in the dick. Then he said something about guns and judges. It's just terrible. I just can't even.

In his latest outburst of insanity, Donald Trump implied the 2nd Amendment could act as a bulwark against tyrannical government overreach.
ReplyDeleteTrump just called for the murder of Hillary Clinton over the 2nd Amendment. We MUST stop his fear-mongering hyperbole or America will burn!
ReplyDeleteIbtihtjhia Muhammad will go down as an Olympic legend, a woman who had the guts to compete in a hijab even though no one said she couldn't.
ReplyDelete"Donald Trump implied the 2nd Amendment could act as a bulwark against tyrannical government overreach."
ReplyDeleteGood grief...this is evidence just how stupid some people are. Please read up on why the US has a 2nd Amendment. Hint...it's not "implied".
No, Trump implied that his supporters could assassinate Clinton if she wins, that's what was implied. Since he's losing badly, it was far beyond irresponsible to say something like that to the sort of people who listen to him. I guess you could call it "Trumpian" as there is no contemporary analog to it.
