This mess is way past the drip stage.

    Imagine, if you will, former president Barack Obama, telling the leaders from a foreign power that the well respected leader of the FBI is a "nut job" and that he is "crazy", and that the pressure being put on him by the man would relieve him of "real pressure."

I know it's hard to imagine, because the former president would not be that nefarious or dumb. Mr. trump seems to be both.

The world, I am sure, would end as we know it. Right-wingnuts would be marching to Pennsylvania Avenue demanding that the brown fella inside comes out and face the masses. 

Anyway, there is no need to imagine, because the current president did say to the Russians in the oval office that Jim Comey is a nut job.

"Two more bombshell reports published Friday afternoon delivered a one-two punch to the Trump White House regarding the investigation into its potential ties to Russia, capping off a week where each day dealt a fresh blockbuster blow to the administration.

In one story, the Washington Post reported that a law enforcement Russia probe has identified a current adviser to the president as a “person of interest,” while a New York Times story reported that the commander in chief told visiting Russian officials that the firing of “nut job” FBI Director James Comey had taken a weight off his shoulders.

“I just fired the head of the FBI. He was crazy, a real nut job,” President Trump said in a meeting with Russian officials last week, according to the Times report on a document summarizing the meeting. “I faced great pressure because of Russia. That’s taken off.”

Trump reportedly added that he wasn’t under investigation, which is potentially untrue, since the president may not know the extent or specifics of the probe. The White House did not dispute the Times reporting on Trump’s quote."

I am sure that all of you trump supporters wishes that was fake news. Sadly for you, it is not. 

Finally, while we have all been distracted the trump clown show, we should not turn away from some of the things that have been (and continue) to happen in America.

"Julian Fyffe says he and a friend were left bleeding and handcuffed in a Connecticut street for nearly 20 minutes without medical attention after being shot by a police officer.

His 15-year-old friend, Jayson Negron, was still breathing. But he would learn later at a hospital that Negron died at the scene following the May 9 shooting in Bridgeport.
 

"They didn't do anything. They just kept walking by us," Fyffe told The Associated Press in a phone interview Thursday. "It took forever to get me in the ambulance. I'm on the floor coughing up blood, bleeding out."
 

Fyffe questioned why police and other first responders did not immediately provide medical care. All cadets at the Bridgeport police academy receive 60 hours of training in emergency medical care, including initial treatment of gunshot wounds, said city spokeswoman Rowena White. White declined to comment Friday on Fyffe's statements." [Source]
