More Storms ahead.

Image result for stormy daniels imagesThere is a new storm looming here on the East Coast, and Stormy sues trump.

Poor Donald, you just can't find good porn star help these days. Who knew that $130,000.00 wouldn't be enough to buy Stormy's silence? Then again, maybe Donald should have just signed on the dotted line.

"The "hush agreement," as it's called in the suit, refers to Trump throughout as David Dennison, and Clifford as Peggy Peterson. The side letter agreement reveals the true identities of the parties as Clifford and Trump.

Each document includes a blank where "DD" is supposed to sign, but neither blank is signed.
According to the lawsuit, Clifford and Trump had an intimate relationship that lasted from summer 2006 "well into the year 2007." The relationship allegedly included meetings in Lake Tahoe and at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

The 2016 hush agreement directed that $130,000 be paid into the trust account of Clifford's then-attorney. In return, Clifford was not to disclose any confidential information about Trump or his sexual partners to anyone beyond a short list of individuals she'd already told about the relationship, or share any texts or photos from Trump.

The suit alleges that Cohen has tried to keep Clifford from talking about the relationship as recently as Feb. 27, 2018.

"To be clear, the attempts to intimidate Ms. Clifford into silence and 'shut her up' in order to 'protect Mr. Trump' continue unabated," says the suit. "On or about February 27, 2018, Mr. Trump's attorney Mr. Cohen surreptitiously initiated a bogus arbitration proceeding against Ms. Clifford in Los Angeles." Binding arbitration is specified as a means of dispute resolution." [Source]

Get your popcorn out people, the next few days should be fun.

Finally, it has been leaked that trump's economic adviser, Gary Cohn, will be leaving the White House shortly. Apparently this tariff thing was just too much for the economist, and it was enough for him to part ways with his leader.  Gary, you see, in economic parlance, is a globalist, not a protectionist. So off he will go. This is the same Gary Cohn, mind you, who threatened to quit after trump chose to side with white supremacist over every one else after Charlottesville. Apparently he had even drafted his resignation letter. But yet he stayed. Why? Because he wanted to see the tax cuts through.

Let's think about this for a minute. Mr. Cohn stays with trump after he sides with Nazis and white supremacist, but decides to leave because he doesn't like trump's trade policies.

That, my friends, tells you all you need to know about the morality of our American leaders.

”That, my friends, tells you all you need to know about the morality of our American leaders.”

No, that tells you everything you need to know about the Republican Party.

The GOP amounts to a coalition between greedy rich people, who just want a tax cut and couldn’t care less about anything else, and spiteful racist rednecks, who want to inflict misery on anyone who isn’t white and Christian. The party has been playing this despicable game for at least 4 decades now.

The moment those rich dudes got their tax cut, they were done. Now the rednecks can go fuck themselves. If congressional Republicans could impeach Trump and replace him with Pence, without paying a serious price at the ballot box in the most right-wing districts, they’d happily dump Trump.

Trump has served his purpose. He delivered the tax loot, so the GOP bigwigs don’t really care about him anymore; at this point, he’s dead weight. Screw the ignorant lummox, his tariffs, and his dumb wall.

  2. Finally, it has been leaked that trump's economic adviser, Gary Cohn, will be leaving the White House shortly.

I have been seeing red over this harmful threat for five days now. It finally occurred to me today. I had heard that Trump's associate had divested his interest in the Manitowoc Company just days before the fatal announcement on Thursday. Carl Icahn, a billionaire financier and longtime pal of Donald Trump’s, sold more than $30 million of stock in a steel-dependent company days before new tariffs on steel imports were announced, Think Progress reports.

I finally put two and two together. Trump and his fellow conspirator/cohorts are simply using his muscle as POTUS to set up various killings in the stock market. Think about it.

Founded in 1902, The Manitowoc Company, Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of cranes and lifting solutions with manufacturing, distribution, and service facilities in 20 countries. Manitowoc is recognized as one of the premier innovators and providers of crawler cranes, tower cranes, and mobile cranes for the heavy construction industry, which are complemented by a slate of industry-leading aftermarket product support services. In 2016, Manitowoc’s net sales totaled $1.6 billion, with over half generated outside the United States.

Why would anyone dump stock in a company that was doing this well? Sell high, right?

Alcoa has also been doing so well in the last few years they split their company into two publicly traded companies. Mrs. Junior had a hunch to buy Alcoa about five years ago. I told her to go for it. Aluminum was being used in automobiles, bicycles and manufacturing more than ever before. My Ford truck has aluminum panels. I bought my grandkid a bike with an aluminum frame.

Trump is fucking up to something. His ignorant minions no longer even question his motives for his insane public and trading policies. He truly is a charismatic dictator with a lemming following that would gladly jump to their deaths if that was what was required.

  3. The reason I was seeing red was that I was just thinking about the industries, companies, employees and people that will be directly hurt by this misguided tariff. At home and abroad as the saying goes. It's one thing to fuck up the tax base with a tax plan that features a seven year payday loan for ignorant Trump supporters. Anyone old enough to retire will probably be dead before the shit hits the fan. It's quite another to sabotage a global manufacturing economy.

Fuck you Trumpies. Maybe one day Trump will tell all of you idiots to take a gun and off yourselves in an insane twitter rampage. I bet half of you would go ahead and do it.

  6. I heard McMaster is next, and Bolton was spotted at the white house.

It's hard to tell what is being distracted from by these tantrums, and that's just how Fergus likes it: he doesn't have to do any real work, he is highly amused by the attention the chaos he unleashes gets him, and he can get on with the nasty business of turning the US government into his own private grift relatively unmolested.

And yeah, FJ, those tariffs are more than stupid. The steel and aluminum industries are capital intensive, meaning they don't use a lot of labor, so Fergus' posturing about bringing the industries back is maybe good news to the 375,000 or so employees that produce steel and aluminum in the US, but bad news for the five million or so employees who work in industries that consume steel or aluminum.

And it was all a goddamn tantrum in the first place. He didn't even have any numbers written down or submitted before the meeting where he announced them, and only brought them out at the end of the meeting in response to a reporter's question, probably pulled out of his ass on the spot.

At least Stormy Daniels makes an honest living, which is way more than you can say about Fergus.

    Goldman Sachs REPORTED ON 3-6-18:

Goldman Sachs came out swinging today against President Trump’s proposed tariffs on steel and aluminum, saying the plan would make the United States less competitive on the global market.

“Import tariffs make the US less competitive by raising the prices of raw materials,” the bank wrote in a report cited by Bloomberg. It’s not just the U.S. economy that will suffer: The tariffs would punish some of America’s closest allies, including NAFTA partners and the EU.

Goldman wrote: “By imposing across-the-board tariffs to all steel and aluminum imports, the larger economic impact is on Canada, Mexico and the EU, and it ironically eases the economic impact to China and Russia.”

Well not really in that context. trump came up with his new trade policy only after a reporter's question and had no specific numbers. He announced it before the review of the policy was complete. This is clearly a distraction from other problems dogging his administration.
Also look at the fact that the majority of the Republicans in congress, leadership of both parties included, oppose his latest proposal. If this was done after the review and specifics were included this might make sense but it doesn't. Just another off the cuff policy designed to create more drama.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Anonymous5:56 PM

"An aggressive 'America First' economic policy is a Russian plot."

I kinda doubt that it is a Russian plot. But it is rather dumb.

Economics is complicated, and Trump has no grasp of the subject. His foolish followers think he's some kind of business genius, but all Trump is really good at is inheriting money from his dad and cheating the investors who sink money into his lame, ugly real estate developments (which fail half the time).

The net economic benefits of his protectionist antics are likely to be zero, after you factor in inflationary effects and retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports imposed by foreign countries. Trump claims we can easily win any trade war by means of [no reason given].

What makes this even sillier is that American steel jobs have already been destroyed in past decades. Trying to save steel jobs that barely even exist anymore is equivalent to closing the barn door after the horses have bolted. Completely useless.

See also Trump's "I am going to save the (already destroyed) coal industry" for comparable stupidity.

On a regular basis, the president keeps announcing policies to address problems that stopped being relevant decades ago. Someone needs to wake the old geezer up and tell him that Reagan is dead, crime is no longer skyrocketing, and the 1980s are over and done with.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Ironymous6:15 PM

"The net economic benefits of his protectionist antics are likely to be zero"

So Progressives are now proponents of Trickle Down economics?

Net benefits mean Wall Street traders get $500,000 bonuses and steel workers lose their jobs. The people on the short end need to take one for the team so that GDP increases.

You people are joke. Trump does what you have been saying you wanted for for 30 years, and because your Trump hatred outweighs everything, you shed tears for Goldman Sachs.

KANSAS CITY, KANSAS — As Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach defends his state’s proof-of-citizenship voter registration law in court, his team is having some issues following trial procedure.

On multiple occasions, U.S. District Judge Julie Robinson has interrupted questioning to walk Kobach and his crew of lawyers through the intricacies of moves such as admitting evidence and asking witnesses about previous depositions. Robinson, an appointee of President George W. Bush, has even instructed Kansas’ attorneys on the correct ways to phrase their questions.

Rather than rely on the representation of the Kansas Attorney General’s office, Kobach has opted to represent himself, with the assistance of other attorneys in his office. They haven’t exactly given the impression of crack litigators.

These lawyers are too effing stoopid to have ever passed a lawyer's bar exam. Maybe they inspected taverns and lounges for bugs- that kind of bar exam.

As can be verified through the Social Security Death Index (SSDI), a database of death records created from the United States Social Security Administration’s Death Master File Extract, the Social Security Administration was in fact informed of Ludwig’s death, and the Social Security number assigned to him was not, as claimed, the same as that assigned to Barack Obama (042-68-4425), but rather a completely different number (045-26-8722). Ludwig also didn’t pass away until 1981, by which time Barack Obama had long since been assigned a Social Security number of his own:
