This country was 90% white before the civil rights act and immigration act of 1965. Black people were excluded from some universities and some companies, but since they were only 10% of the population, the talented tenth was only 1%. There were no race-based preferences, because giving "preferences" to 99% of the applicant pool would be meaningless.
How could this have happened? Well, the firm which built the bridge is a construction company owned by a “prominent Cuban-American family” which has won a number of government contracts, despite being cited for shoddy workmanship in the past:

How does such a company repeatedly obtain such great government contracts? Simple. As a press release boasting about doing construction work at Guantanamo Bay Naval Base makes clear, MCM is “certified as a minority-owned firm with the Southern Florida Minority Supplier Development Council.”
Interestingly, when MCM landed this contract, board member Pedro Munilla rhapsodized about getting to work in “our homeland,” by which he meant Cuba, not the United States.
Certified Minority-Owned businesses have considerable advantages in obtaining government contracts in many cases. President Trump is pushing for a new infrastructure plan. Hopefully, someone in the administration can connect the dots, and push for the elimination of affirmative action in government contracting. Spending billions of dollars to build new bridges and roads is worse than useless if the safety of Americans is subordinated to “diversity.”
It's wrong if people are being entrusted with important projects because they are white or black or Hispanic or female or anything other than their ability to perform the work.

Let's also dive into the programs that were established to help "Americans" such as the GI Bill and low interest loans for vets that were given to whites and kept from Blah vets. Whites were able to buy homes and establish credit and build wealth from their properties. Many of these towns prohibited Blah people from buying a home and banks used red lining and restrictive covenants to prohibit Blah people from buying. This is well known and well documented.

ReplyDeleteEvery last black in the USA costs an average of about $11,000 a year over the taxes they pay. Hispanics are net drains also, at about $7,000 apiece.
Every white in the US is supporting about 0.2 black people at $11k and 0.3 hispanic people at $7k. That's about $4300 a year between them, or over $350 a month.
White people would be immensely better off keeping that $350 a month for themselves.

Perjury is only a crime if a Dem does it-ask Jeff Sessions and Chuck the fuck Grassley. After that, everything else you wrote is demonstrably false because you are a liar. Clinton voluntarily surrendered his law license-it was never taken from him. Had ne been disbarred he would never be allowed to lawyer again. As it is he could get his license back and practice law if he wanted.

“That’s all we investigated,” Conaway said, contradicting himself. “We didn’t investigate his obstruction of justice issue. That’s what we investigated: Was there collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russians or between the Clinton campaign and the Russians?”
