Liars!

See that picture to your left? That was supposed to be the rope and pitchfork crowd in Washington on Saturday. Pretty impressive, huh? Except there is one little problem: The picture is a fake. Yep, just like the phony ass tea bag movement that the perpetrators who descended on Washington claimed to represent. A bunch of frauds, just like the pictures they were circulating that's supposed to represent the crowds they had. I say were because the jig is up.

According to ABC News, the D.C. fire department (they should know) reported that there was between 60,000 to 70,000 people in Washington on Saturday, protesting Obama's health care plan. The organizers of the protest, on the other hand, claims that there were over a million people. In fact, to be more specific; they claim that ABC News said that there were over a million people. Not. It turns out that Matt Kibble, one of the protest organizers, is a liar. -Where is Joe Wilson when you need him?-People like this and my man Matt, should really lay off my country's national plant.

Look, I know how important numbers are to these movements. I was at the Million Man March, and the folks who organized that march made a big deal about the park services under reporting the numbers. This happens every time there is a planned protest in Washington. For obvious reasons organizers always want to inflate their numbers. But photoshop? Come on wingnuts, I know you all are desperate, but this latest ploy is a bit lame.

Finally, I can't finish blogging tonight without talking about my boy, Kanye.

What he did was crass boorish and discourteous, and most of you reading this would not have done what he did. (Myself included.) But isn't it nice to know that there is someone out there who will? Hey, I am just glad that we have at least one crazy Negro running around who will shake up the status quo. The fact that he has fuck you money makes it even sweeter.

Besides, who didn't know that MTV doesn't care about black people?

Since you never responded to this in the Serena post and it seems to apply to Kanye, I'll post this again:

Sorry Field, love ya, usually agree with you, but your commentary is HOUSE NEGRO commentary.

    Let me tell you why?

You've allowed white folk to dictate how you should act and react. You've allowed black people to shame you into 'acting right.' You've agreed to silence yourself for the white gaze.

This is not the behavior of a FREE individual. You are still a slave.

I'm black, female, I have a range of emotion I have no problem expressing. Sometimes people deserve a few expletives from me. There is no shame in a well-deserved cussing out.

I'm embarrassed for black folk who feel they don't have a right to the expression of their anger for fear of making white folk uncomfortable. How are you different from your ancestors who HAD to put themselves away and pander to their masters?

  2. Kanye was drunk off his azz last night. He was walking the red carpet taking swigs of cognac. I think losing his mom has sent him down a dark road. I hope he gets some help.

And are you really surprised that the tea boogers lied about their numbers Field? Their whole movement is a lie. They say it's about taking their country back but we know what it's really about.

  3. Fake photo..darn are we surprise.. Even Wilson lied aboout not supporting health care for immigration since he pass a bill support it. Just found about that this morning on the Joe Madison and Warren Ballatine show.

A straight brunch of liar..I bet that Wilson has not raise as much money as stated.. Tell your folks to contribute to Ron Miller campaign.

It is funny that a brunch of over zealous folks that trying to destroy Obama end up making themselves look silly.

As for Kanye, he has not been right in the head since his mother pass on.

But I love that song Digital girl..

  7. As I said earlier, I was in DC, staying at a hotel that was in front of their gathering place on Freedom Square and I knew there was not even close to a million people.
I have been to dozens of marches and direct actions in DC. I have only been to one March where there were over a million people... it was the 1993 March for Gay Rights. The second largest was a 2006 march for reproductive freedom, which had about 700,000....

And, as I mentioned earlier, the Tea Baggers had NO youth delegations. In fact, it was the first demonstration I have ever witnessed that professed to be addressing a national issue and there were no young people... just a few of the children of the Tea Baggers that got dragged along. They are not the future. They are the dying past. Good riddance.

Those godless tea baggers are liars, sex addicts and shameless racists all rolled into one. They are political perverts with no sense of shame.

Kanye West has no decency. Field, you might admire and condone his crazy behavior but what he did even made Beyonce cringe. He was disgustingly ugly. Kanye is headed for psychological and spiritual trouble.

An ABC reporter 'accidentally' tweeted that Obama called Kanye a jackass in an interview portion that was supposed to be off the record. Here's the tweet:

"Pres. Obama just called Kanye West a 'jackass' for his outburst at VMAs when Taylor Swift won. Now THAT'S presidential," Moran wrote.

Now I think everyone agrees that Kanye did act like a jackass but I don't think this tweet getting out was 'accidental.'

Oh and I agree about the "fuck you" money (would love to see more women and all kinds of minorities with more of it) but honestly I'm more of the mind that Kanye planned it out for publicity. Everybody spent all day talking about him and for hip hop stars there's very few things that could truly be called bad publicity. He apologized almost instantly and even called her momma. Kanye is one smart operator as is Obama for taking his shot at Kanye, especially right now, to score a few Real America™ points nice and easy.

Anon 11:28, I thought the same thing. It would be an accident if it wasn't for the whole world to see. I just wish Obama would give the rethuglicans the same treament now that we know he has it in him.

  23. You Lie! (Trapped in SC)12:09 AM

This is what Jefferson would have thought of those tea-bagging motherfuckers:

The British ministry have so long hired their gazetteers to repeat, and model into every form, lies about our being in anarchy, that the world has at length believed them, the English nation has believed them, the ministers themselves have come to believe them, and what is more wonderful, we have believed them ourselves. Yet where does this anarchy exist ? Where did it ever exist, except in the single instance of Massachusetts ? And can history produce an instance of rebellion so honorably conducted ? I say nothing of its motives. They were founded in ignorance, not wickedness. God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions, it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. We have had thirteen States independent for eleven years. There has been one rebellion. That comes to one rebellion in a century and a half, for each State. What country before, ever existed a century and a half without a rebellion ? And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of resistance ? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two ? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure. Our convention has been too much impressed by the insurrection of Massachusetts ; and on the spur of the moment, they are setting up a kite to keep the hen yard in order.

The teabaggers certainly illustrate the passage "The people cannot be all, and always, well informed".

Van Jones is part of a group that talks black and chases white. He's of a zero use to the black community and especially black women; all his money and toil got to support a white woman. Just like Skippy, gates, Tiger Woods, OJ, Michael Jordan, etc. All men who can't keep their hands off white women, yet when they get in trouble they want black folks (read black women) to support their sorry asses in the public spotlight. At least Tiger doesn't even pretend he's all about black people. His honesty is at least refreshing.

Same with Kanye's bitch ass and his shit talking about bi-racial women being all that. Maybe his light-bright girlfriend, Amber Rose, can come to his defense.

I don't hate interracial couples-I hate trifling folks who give precious resources outside of the black community. Obama at least married a top notch black woman, and there are lots of them out there. He doesn't talk black and chase white. His father was a piece of shit thought.

My point is that black men who have both power and money, who claim to be down with cause, shouldn't be directing their resources outiside of the community and to white women.

  69. This is late, but to the first poster: if you can't control your own emotions, you have no right to call anyone a slave. I don't mean just being the one to open the flood gates and just letting your negativity out in a storm, but being able to channel that anger into something useful. That means all someone has to do is set you off and you mess yourself up. White folks aren't afraid of black people who fly off the handle at an little issue because usually those black folks act as an individual and burn themselves out before doing any real damage. Black folks rioted in LA and you see it's still standing, right? But back in the day our people got mad, got organized, and changed the country. So I'll ask you who is the slave and who is the free person: the one who has control of themselves or the one who lets themselves be controlled by their emotions?

Now that I think about it, anybody else think this tea party thing in Washington was just a way to incite violence? They go to a city with a large black population, have some derogatory signs, and raise hell over something that really the last President did? Yeah, they had to pay taxes, but it was under Bush's tax laws. President Obama's budget hasn't even went through yet since he just started and they're acting like he bankrupted the government already. My guess though is that they wanted someone to crack down on them and make it seem like the government is really trying to silence the public. Or better yet have black folks jump on them like the Klan does when they speak in public. That way they can make a case against that "African in the White House" and push up some Tom in the crowd that was on their side.

Expressed anger is uncomfortable for anyone regardless of race. I don't know too many Black people that are comfortable with another Black person expressing their anger towards them. Do you?

And I speak as one angry person with a rich history of terrifying people with my anger. Black or white, no one was ever comfortable with it.

Serena should feel free to exprees her anger but there are rules and regulations in the US open that I am sure she has physically signed on to uphold. The breaking of those rules is the real issue for her.
The expression of her anger doesn't come as a surprise to me, infact its long over due.

If you express your anger you should be prepared for the fall out. Its not simply a Black/White issue.

Who said a healthy display of anger is 'rioting?' Dude, get a grip.

A free range of expression is the best for optimal health. It has been proven that the people most inclined to heart attacks, are the ones who stay silently-angry. Black people who think they're doing everyone a favor by being 'good, passive, non-angry black people' DIE SOONER as a result. And to top it all off, they seem to be in the thankless position of getting labelled anyway.

The Obamas are always poised and 'non-angry' and look at what they get. I'm sorry, but I get annoyed with delusional black folk, who erroneously believe if they act a certain manner they will somehow be spared of criticism.

It must tire you to be under a microscope. You can break it at anytime and CHOOSE to be free, but you choose to be controlled by the white gaze. You ARE A SLAVE.

Yup, despite Beyonce being on the scene for over a decade, she wasn't getting any kind of awards. When she married Jay-Z, she still wasn't getting awards, even though nominated.

Personally, that marriage isn't like what we, in real life, experience. I always thought it was just a merger between two brands. She got married to Jay-Z then went to work immediately... rehearsals for award shows (that she didn't get), videos, albums, movie roles, etc... Poor girl didn't even stay at home to cook, wash dishes and lay up with her man like we would have.

Granny "BTW, Karma is not a Christian term. It Hinduism and Buddhism and they don't believe in God."

Granny, ALL Hindu's believe in God. Ever heard of Gandhi?

Gandhi was a Hindu and was a servant of God. He certainly believed in God and also Jesus Christ. He loved Christ, but disliked Christians because they were mean-spirited and did not follow Christ's teachings.

Buddha felt that humans needed to cleanse their heart and mind and needed to: avoid doing evil, cultivate virtue and goodness, and purify their minds of anger, lust, greed and delusion. Until humans free their minds and open their hearts, according to Buddha it won't matter to the self-centered human ego whether there is a God or not.

Humans have the tendency to do evil, and they enjoy doing it because it makes them feel good. This is the great ignorance and delusion that clouds the mind of the human race.

Basically, the term karma is God's Law. Karma operates from the principle of: "you reap what you sow," or "do unto others as you would have them do unto you." You can see the law of karma in the Ten Commandments and everyday life.

Btw, the 10 commandments were written to help humans stop hurting themselves and others. As we all know, very few Americans live by the commandments. Most do just the opposite.

Granny, it looks like your obssessive outrage at Beck, Hannity and other haters of Blacks in America is turning you away from your faith!

Assuming that you have studied the religions of the world, why didn't you know that God has been the lifeblood of Hinduism for thousands of years w-a-a-ay before Christianity? Even Grinder knew that-and he doesn't give a damn about religion.

Imho, we are ALL babes in the woods when it comes to knowing God or Christ (with you being the exception of course). Otherwise, the world wouldn't be such a dangerous place and human beings wouldn't justify, rationalize and feel good about the evil they do.

BTW, what happened to John the Baptist who spoke against old evil Herod? Did he make Herod repent and live to tell about it? Just curious.

Incidentally, history is full of people with "good" intentions who claim to be the good guys and/or messengers of God, but they unintentionally turned out to be, or even worse, than than the evil they went to eradicate.

America in Iraq and Vietnam are two fine examples; the Nazis thought they were right by attempting to rid the earth of Jews; the genocide happening today in Africa is done by people with the same "good" intentions; Jim Jones and David Koresh thought they were messengers of God.

So I hope you know the difference between the voice of God and your own ego. Because if you don't then count on adding to the mess. Beck, Hannity and Fox will appreciate it. It helps to keep their ratings #1!

FYI: I am not a supporter of Beck, Hannity or Fox News. What they have to say is just junk to me. I rarely know or care what they have to say, and I don't lose a minute of sleep over them.

Obviously, you are losing sleep over people you can't control, including the ones listening to them. Pray to God to give you the strength to 'let go' of that crap because you cannot control nor change Beck, Hannity, Fox, or anyone else but yourself.

But it makes good grist for the wilderness of opinions. Anyone can get totally stressed and lost in that black hole.

    Good luck.
