Because we can't get enough of the black bogeyman.

In an effort to be fair and balanced, I am going to do a cut and paste job and post what a wingnut columnist wrote in my local paper.

Christine Flowers is a fellow member of the Philadelphia Bar. And, make no mistake, she is a wingnut. But to understand what goes on in the mind of the wingnut, you have to read folks like Christine Flowers.

" IN SPRING 1967, my father was a young lawyer trying to figure out what to do with rest of his professional life.

As an editor of Temple's Law Review, he had choices. But before embarking on a career that eventually led him to be named a "Legend of the Philadelphia Bar," Dad took a detour to Mississippi.

The year before Martin Luther King Jr. was gunned down in Memphis, Tenn., Ted Flowers spent a summer registering African-Americans to vote and run for office in Copiah County. His journals tell tales that sound as if they were ripped from the pages of "To Kill a Mockingbird," including one incident he and some other lawyers experienced on the steps of a small courthouse:

"In the course of the next few seconds, we were called 'white n---s,' 'n--r lovers' and a few other names unworthy to print. I was amazed by all of this and couldn't help looking over at them. The expressions on their faces mirrored an intense hatred of us personally, and of everything we stood for. Even the small children seemed to wish us dead. It made me feel ill to know that there were people in America who differed very little in my judgment from those who manned Auschwitz in 1944."

I thought of Dad when I heard about what happened at a polling place in North Philly on Election Day 2008. Some militants of the New Black Panthers went to a polling place near the old Richard Allen Projects and strutted their stuff, complete with uniforms and billy clubs. Their clear intent was to intimidate people exercising their right to vote in what many called a historic election.

The story is old, but after a few brief mentions here at the time, people haven't heard much about it until recently. That's because the mainstream press, usually sensitive to the mere whiff of voter intimidation and ethnically insensitive behavior, basically dumped it.
Now, though, it (almost) can't avoid it. This week, a former career federal prosecutor appeared before the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and talked about how the Obama Justice Department mishandled a violation of the Voting Rights Act. The irony is apparent: The black attorney general is in the cross hairs for failing to prosecute a case of racial intimidation that happened to occur on the day of the first black president's greatest glory.

J. Christian Adams resigned from the Justice Department in May to protest what he saw as a blatant violation of the department's responsibility to the American people - to enforce the laws in a race-neutral way.

In an article in the Washington Times, he described what happened when a DOJ headed by Eric Holder and filled with political appointees of a decidedly liberal stripe decided to derail the prosecution of the New Black Panthers, who had already been convicted by default by not even bothering to show up to defend themselves. Justice simply dropped the case, refusing to seek any criminal or civil penalties against all but one of the violators. Adams attributes this decision to "the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims."

WHILE THERE might have been legitimate reasons to derail the prosecution before convictions were obtained against the Panther defendants (although none is apparent in this case), there was absolutely no reasonable excuse for dropping claims that had already been won by the government, even if by default.

I tried to get an answer from the NAACP, since it's one of the foremost organizations in this country concerned with voter rights. I thought it might have some idea why Justice would decide to drop a case of voter intimidation after a significant victory.
Their response? "No comment." (Maybe not surprising, since Adams testified that the NAACP actually lobbied the Obama administration to drop the prosecution.)

Fact is, when reason goes out the window, conspiracy theory creeps in through the back door. The president and his crew have no one to blame but themselves for the impression they've created that they don't care about the civil rights of nonminorities, at least not at polling places. With no valid explanation for essentially letting a small band of domestic terrorists run wild on Election Day, you have to believe that this administration doesn't exactly see the Voting Rights Act the way my father did.
And that's a tragedy."
[Article] For an added treat, please read the comments after the article.

Christie, your daddy seemed like a decent man. But, unfortunately, the apple fell very far from the tree. To compare two men standing with night sticks [AND LET'S GO OVER THIS AGAIN: THEY STOPPED NO ONE FROM VOTING ON THAT DAY!!!!] to what people went through during the struggle for civil rights in this country, only tarnishes your father's name and his legacy.

Shame on you for exploiting your father's work for the sake of scoring cheap political points! (Did you feel this strongly about voting rights when black folks were crying a river after Bush v. Gore?) But that's Christie; a partisan hack with an agenda. Even if it means using her daddy's memory to make her point.

  1. Call me crazy or even anal for asking this, but would this not be a fault of the BUSH white house since said electoral win by Obama would have been on his watch and as such HIS white house and DOJ would have been responsible for said polling places?

So even when not in office YET it's still all the black guys fault. Yup she read her dads words but in her mind she sided with the people who hated her dad, not who loved their country.

There's America the Red, White and blue and then there is america white and white only the rest of you just dig the trenches and tend our fields

  2. PRIMALDATA I co-sign.

I said this ever since I started blogging. I said it when J.Kenneth Blackwell pulled Porky Pig and Daffy Duck out his butt in Cleveland as a excuse to nullify the votes of Cuyahoga County. I said it when he sent the Challengers to mostly Black Cuyahoga County. I said it when a former Clevelander and head of Fox News division Bill Sammon interview Freddie Johnson for registering 72 times to vote with a cigarette and a beer each time, even though that can get someone sent to jail and their store closed for suppling a juvenile with those products.

    Acorn was a dry run.

They're trying to get rid of the NAACP.

    Like the song says:

  3. This op-ed is just total bullshit. I suppose the NBP is like the white citizen's council and assorted other white supremacists who ran an organized effort with government backing to deny the rights of black folks to vote.

The NBP has little, if any, backing in the black community and certainly can't organize an effort to intimidate voters save for having a couple of fools hanging outside a polling place--and even with that, they might have very well been placed there as agent provocateurs by the same people who are now crying about the administration's racism.

This crap is so thinly veiled that anyone with any sense can see through this like glass. There has literally been an issue a month that's been surfaced against the administration ranging from the birth certificate, to healthcare, to socialism and now this.

They're running a campaign and since they don't have Rev Wright to dust off and bring out, any old thing will do.

  4. Didn't she dredge up her father's memory before.

"Some militants..." Doesn't that imply more than two.

Those two looked like security guards in a dollar store when the local Fox news interviewed them. You see in Philly, to you folks that live in the Hinterland, everywhere you go there are security guards. Some almost look like police with billy clubs but no gun. They are at some pharmacies, clothing stores, hospitals and big box stores. You people would die a natural death if you had to set foot in a BIG city.

I wish someone had taped the commentary of the newscaster just standing outside the polling place trying to keep from having dead air.

  5. field, I seriously thought she was Black until I got to the "white n---s" part. WTF?

I am SO SICK AND TIRED of this ridiculous "reverse racism" bullshit that "white" people are pulling. On Facebook I actually got into it with an imbecile arguing that white men are the most discriminated against group in America. What the hell is WRONG with these people?

And how dare Obama choose "political appointees of a decidedly liberal stripe"?

I swear to God many white people have lost their damn minds due to their guilty consciences and FEAR of retribution at the hand of the righteously indignant.

And, sadly, there are juries out there who think that fear is "reasonable."

  8. Christine Flowers' credibility is about as low as a baby snake. Last year, she wrote an article about Farah Fawcett's death, which would have been nice, but she attempted to bring out how great she was by continually bashing the other well-known person who died that day: Michael Jackson. She spent half her article remarking about his awkward weirdness, the criminal case from which he was acquitted; she even stated that Ms. Fawcett had a bigger impact on the world, humanitarian-wise, than Michael. She's infuriating.

I know this doesn't have anything to do with her current article, but it's definitely her style: juvenile, trite, exaggerated and distorted. She is a hack and is not hardly the man her father was. She's the apple that fell from the tree, but the moment she fell, she was rotten to the core.

Nazism didn't die it. It just changed color. With that in mind, let's have another look at the Obama Administration's special friend Samir Shabazz .

This guy has friends in very high places. This is because the President of the USA crawled out from under the same rock, having spent 20 years soaking up similar rhetoric in a "church" of race hate.

The Zimbabwe-style voter intimidation tactics Shabazz is getting a pass on from the Injustice Department were bad enough. But wait until 2012, when voters get a chance to repeal Hope & Change.

Bother Field...any militant party can only be as strong as the influence that they press on their followers. In the late 60s, we had an energized youth base to continue the movement in most cities in America. There was a goal that Martin Luther kING could not reach by virtue of death and the Black youth that refused to continue to be beat down by the police and society as a whole. I feel that the New Black Panther Party can be viable...in my reaching out to the NBP in Norfolk I encourage to tone down on the "tuff"" personna and minimize the profanity because in order to form a base, you must now have a doable objective. I know this objective can only be met when we are told "in face" that many behavoirs will not be a benefit to us as a race. One such behavoir is stop doing things that will put you in jail/ Obey the laws first then change them by being in place to legislate. BPP have a role..to counter all those white groups that "want to put you back on the plantation". BPP must use the press effectively. You can't scarce whites with sticks and hallow bravado.

Those outsourcing Democrats need to send all those "thugs" packing...not a one of them are earning their keep.

Since Dwight Eisenhower, Democrats have owned the White House five times, and Republicans six.

And since Abe Lincoln, 18 Republicans called the White House home, to 11 Democrats.

Now if I'm to take you at your word, I would expect Democrats, with the certainty of sunlight, to occupy the White House at numbers greater than Republicans.

Voter intimidation and fraud should have made those Democrats running for the presidency, at the least, shoo-ins.

Way to go, Annony. Who needs 'Hope & Change' when you can have 'Blood & Guts.' But you do know it's a waste of time electing Republicans so that they may gain majorities in Congress.

Republicans are doing nothing now, except obstructing, and they're not even in the majority.

Just think what they can do with a majority...more of the same.

At best, they'll just keep Democrats from legislating their agenda.

But with the shoe on the other foot, for Republicans to pass legislation of any merit, they'll have to cooperate with Democrats, and appease a liberal president wielding veto power.

With our man in the White House, Republicans will either play ball, or take their ball and leave the field of play.

    Either way, we win.

I know...you have your eye on the next presidential election. Fair enough. But that's a couple years away. And anything can happen between then, and now.

The Tea Party kettle may whistle so loud that it ruptures the eardrums of the Republican party, discombobulating the most stalwart Republicans, sending them into a dizzying disarray.

If that happens, repeat after me...Second-term Obama. Second-term Obama.

Bring it on! What, you're delaying the revolution!

I understand you're being satirical...and it's not very good satire at that...but don't you think that the two statements above are heavily contradictory.

You're agreeing that whites are fearful, and blacks are fearful.

Now if I were to judge the degree and the extent of that 'fear,' I'd have to say that whites are fear personified.

A black man becomes president and you and your throwbacks can only see blacks in crosshairs.

My fear is this. We're not living in antebellum South, and if black blood is spilled, white blood will be spilled, as well.

What's happening in Oakland, Ca, should be a wakeup call for your kind.

Seventy eight arrested. I don't perceive any fear there.

And, if worse comes to worse, we'll side with that other bunch you fear...al-Qaeda.

Roadside bombs, suicide bombers, and suitcase nukes will become your constant nightmare.

This nation is practically broke 'fighting them over there so it won't have to fight them over here.'

That's a lot of money that fear has spent. Fear has made us a debtor nation. The Chinese, and the Arabs are holding our markers.

Now, don't think after Arizona's 'Papers Please' law that Latinos are going align with you, and Native Americans surely won't give you succor.

When we finish, you'll be the ones in chains, bearing the lash, living in slave quarters, and picking cotton under a unrelenting, southern sun.

What a wonderful image that'll make, one to be immortalized in song, paintings and, not to be forgotten, photos.

But you don't 'own' those looted businesses. What? They're not in your neighborhood? They're 'ours' because they belong to blacks, or because they reside in our neighborhoods?

You admit...it's not your business, it belongs to them, they 'own' them. Wrong! You don't own them. They don't own them.

Nothing in this country belongs to blacks. We're borrowers. Those who 'burned baby burn' weren't all black. All that were arrested weren't blacks. They were anarchists. But you knew that, right? You live in the Bay Area, right?

Check out this video, and the accompanying article. A Footlocker was looted, a Sears store, and a Subway sandwich shop.

Blacks don't 'own' these businesses, as you state.

But you knew that, right? You live in the Bay Area.

'they didn't like the verdict? Well, you are lucky the jury took the Blacks into account and gave involuntary manslaughter.

    Hey, that's "progress", right?'

One giant step backward for whites, and one long stride in place for blacks.

Maybe it was you the jury took into account.

Did you give that any thought my supercilious nimrod?

  38. Voter Intimidation? Yeah, sure looks that way.

I remember another episode of blacks intimidating shoppers, mainly white and asian shoppers.

Back in the early 1990s, in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn there was a Korean Deli. It operated on busy corner in a piece of Flatbush that is mostly black.

The storeowner caught a black woman shoplifting. She got pushy and they tussled. No one was hurt, but she said she had been slapped.

As soon as the word about a Korean del- owner slapping a black woman got aroud, the boycott was on.

One of Brooklyn's better known rabble rousers took the lead. Sonny Carson, a paroled murderer who led an earlier boycott and standoff that did permanent harm to the NY City Department of Education. But that's another story.

Carson and his goon squad organizaed a boycott of the Korean deli. Each day about 20 black males would stand side-by-side on the sidewalk in front of the deli, more-or-less blocking access to the store.

The owner called the police. But the police were limited to making the men move off the sidewalk and stand in the street, which they did. To maintain order several cops had to stand on the sidewalk while the men stood at the edge of the street where it met the sidewalk.

All of this was bad news for the business. Too many local shoppers stopped going to the store and soon the owner was in trouble.

Blacks screamed that asians were taking over their territory. They wanted to drive out the owner and reopen the place under black management.

Eventually Mayor Dinkings got involved. When the deli owner told the mayor's office he would have to shut his business, the mayor's office arranged for the deli owner to take control of a different deli in Queens. The owner shut his existing business and went to work in Queens.

What happened to the boycotted site? It closed and then several months later, when the obsession with the fight and boycott had blown over, the local black thugs were on to other grievances.

As you should have expected, the deli reopened, once again owned and operated by a Korean.

Except for the sisters who broke into a b euty supply shop to steal some polyester extensions, it was white people inciting the riot and getting in the cops' faces. Today they call them anarchists. We used to call them the KKK.

    Of the 78 people arrested

    19 from Oakland

28 from other parts of the Bay Area

19 from other parts of Cali

    12 out of state

Brothers really get a hard on over violent confrontatio, no nmatter if you get the facts wrong. You fail to mention the peaceful demonstration that preceeded the riot attended by youth of all colors. You probably missed the coverage of a group of black kids arguing with white KKK members and telling them to get out of their city.

Go jack off on your misconceptions about what happened in Oakland. You don't know what you are talking about.

Thanks for the link, I appreciate it. Still, that information needs to be promoted in the main media, again and again so that the country knows about them.

It's really too bad Field didn't include those IMPORTANT dangerous "facts" in his post. But a racism chaser like Field, and his disciples, like goofball bx3 always tend to minimize and ignore the negative 'black side' of the racist equation.

Yep. Instead, Field makes the NBP appear to be insignificant and harmless. It's that kind of attitude that can cause backlashes and divide the races.

I wish there were more 'Kumbaya-like' black blogs around with true bm like CF. This country needs more Blacks like CF- who are unbiased, well-balanced and free of hatred.

One such behavoir is stop doing things that will put you in jail/ Obey the laws first then change them by being in place to legislate. Field this woman is creepy and not worth wasting time on. But she and her partners are on a mission to turn the real problems with race on its head in this country.

I don't understand what her father had to do with anything. And you are right she is disgracing her fathers memory with her fake comparisons.

She was comparing apples to oranges. In the Jim Crow south there was a concerted effort by local governments along with the average racists and terror groups to keep black folks from the polls.

In this instance the New Black Panther folks represent only themselves -- which is obvious-- and there is no comparison to the almost blanket approval by the white population that blacks should be disenfranchised.

This stuff is maddening, but we have to counter by finding ways to counter this propaganda by finding ways to unite the races. This crap only serves the interests of the rulers. And its so obviously dishonest that I am not tempted to believe that most of these folks believe this crap. I suspect that most are getting their palms greased with payola.

I agree and the NBP is going to cause a lot of suffering between the races and make Obama's job even harder. I am surprised that Field cannot see this.

You are right. If we don't find ways to unite the races, guess who is going to end up on the bottom? I am always amazed at the shortsightedness of Blacks. Those NBP need to know that Blacks against hatred and division don't appreciate them.

  47. From SPLC:

Since 2000, the number of hate groups has increased by 54 percent. This surge has been fueled by fears of Latino immigration and, more recently, by the election of the country’s first African-American president and the economic crisis.

These factors also are feeding a growing antigovernment militia movement, which in the 1990s led to a string of domestic terrorist plots, including the Oklahoma City bombing.

This growth in extremism has been aided by mainstream media figures and politicians who have used their platforms to legitimize false propaganda about immigrants and other minorities and spread the kind of paranoid conspiracy theories on which militia groups thrive.

I just read a post on another blog site about this issue. It's course but necessary to quote him direct here. He wrote that the Republicans call this kind of political theater (the kind that they create and orchestrate) "ratfucking". It orginated with tricky Dick Nixon, and in these days of YouTube and photoshopped video they have taken it to the level of a Hollywood production.

The "ratfucking" connotation meant creating dirty deceptive tricks directly on your political enemies power turf to either discredit them or knock them out of operation. Republican money has been flowing into young Republican clubs on college campuses all across the country to enable these young white mischievous minds to dream up various tricks.

Some of their recent "ratfucking" efforts have succeeded beyond their wildest dreams, such as the "prostitute and the pimp". As we all can recall that once this video was posted on the internet, it spelled the downfall of the national ACORN organization. (ACORN was already on extremely shaky ground and this scandal turned out to be the killer blow.)

However, the success of the "pimp and the prostitute" in speeding up ACORN's demise had an unforseen consequence, IT DEPRIVED THE REPUBLICAN OF A BOGEYMAN TO "FIGHT" AGAINST. All of a sudden they had no BLACK bogey man organization out there to fight against in the righteous name of protecting the "good white" people of America. Limbaugh, Beck and others suddenly found themselves with no dangerous black group to rail against in their broadcasts.

Ahaa, FOX TV to the rescue!! Fox contracted with a certain Mr. Shabazz and friends to form a new BLACK bogeyman, and guess what its name is? You guessed it, THE NEW BLACK PANTHERS, only this time the mean looking brothers are all from Philadelphia not Oakland, and they don't have any feeding program for the black ghetto youth of Philadelphia. Mr. Shabazz publicly declared proudly that he has been a constant guest on all of the Fox racebaiting shows, like O'Reilly and Hannity, and they are all "scared of him and the Panthers". He also stated that he and his Panthers will be down in Washington on August 28 to keep Glenn Beck from messing over the yearly recognition of Dr. King's famous "I have a dream" speech. He stated that the Panthers will never let Beck speak regardless of how many Tea Party people are there! It smells to me as if the unfolding scenario is coming from some Republican "ratfucking" production. Consider this, out of all the polling places in the black neighborhoods of Philadelphia, how is it that these two white guys show up at this particular polling place at the exact time that these two "New Black Panthers" are standing out front? I don't believe in coincidence, but I do believe in synchronization between people and cellphones!

I wonder how much chump change Mr. Shabazz and friends are making to create this sham (New Black Panthers)organization. I just hope that he socks it to the wallets of his Republican handlers cause they have plenty of money, and nothing smells worse than a CHEAP sellout Negro.

And if people believe this nonsense, it's a bonus. But no one has to believe it, it merely has to surface, and linger in the air like a odoriferous fart that was too big to squelch.

Republican leadership can then point to it, while holding their collective noses, and remonstrate over the smell, and the fact that the current administration is permitting an olfactory sin by not bringing the appropriately-scented glade to bear upon the gaseous offender.

  67. field, you wrote:

no_slappz, did you really give us a story about a store in Brooklyn ten years ago and try to equate it to what happened in Philly during the last gen. election?

As ever, the collective efforts of blacks DO NOT change voter outcomes of presidential elections.

Thus, no matter how hard Shabazz and his goofy friends might have tried to intimidate voters, their efforts changed nothing.

Of course it is possible to reverse outcomes of local elections.

Nevertheless, my example of the boycott was meant to show the ineffectiveness of black protests aimed at targets other than politicians.

More recently than the Flatbush Deli Boycott bust was the murder and arson at Freddy's Fashion Mart on 125th St in Harlem.

Al Sharpton, a great enemy to blacks, led a protest aimed at driving a Jewish store owner out of Harlem. Sharpton, using a bullhorn, exhorted a growing crowd.

On the second day of protests, he worked the crowd into frenzy and finally one black male got the message and ran into the store firing his pistol. He had a can of gasoline with him. He splashed the gasoline around and lit it.

Between firing the shots and the inferno from the gasoline, he killed 6 or 8 store employees. The employees were black and hispanic. That's Sharpton at his best.

Here in my part of Flatbush, Brooklyn, our representative to Congress is Yvette Clarke, a black woman who "forgot" she failed to graduate from college. She said she graduated. But her claim was challenged and her college admitted she was not a graduate. Not that it mattered.

Despite facing a far superior white candidate, she won easily because -- surprise, surprise -- the majority of voters in our district are black. In fact, several decades ago, the district was gerrymandered to ensure the election of Shirley Chisholm.

Here in Brooklyn, a candidate's race is his chief vote-getting characteristic.

At the moment there are several investigations of black pols underway. After Hurricane Katrina, a few of them realized there was money to be made by creating phony charities for the storm victims. However, as investigators have found, the black elected officials collected money and used it to pay for a range of personal expenses.

According to officials in Louisiana, donations reaching New Orleans totaled $ZERO.

At times -- Absolutely. Especially when the group forms up in a militaristic manner. Sometimes people think violence might follow, so they leave the area. That's what happened during the Flatbush Korean Deli Boycott.

I went to the deli during that period and, as you know, I could feel the warmth from all the beret-wearing black males at the edge of the sidewalk.

I was one of the few white guys listening to Farrakhan spew his insanity, including his claims that whites created AIDS in Africa to kill blacks, that whites legalized abortion so blacks would reproduce less and one other claim, which proved prophetic.

He said after the year 2000 war would break out between the US and muslims.

The interesting part of his prediction is the likelihood that it was less a prediction than an admission of muslim goals and expectations. As a black muslim, he shares many of the same desires of middle eastern muslims who want to destroy the US because it is not a muslim nation.

It is clear that you don't know much. And what little you do know, you got from Satan himself- which means it ain't worth doo-doo.

Zing-"Then my going to hell is going to be delayed a bit...there's a traffic jam up ahead, and I see you in one of the lead cars, along with other hypocritical 'churchgoers.'"

Again, you display your ignorance. Any good Christian or good person of any religion can tell you that there are no traffic jams to hell. Your tiny brain has confused itself with crowded earthly road conditions and the reality of Hell. Nope, for your pathetic butt, there will be no delay..."No traffic jams for Mr. proud Zinger."
Satans helpers will roll out the red carpet for you.

Zing-"You see...there's not that much difference between us...we're both going to hell, you because you're a 'churchgoer' and should know better, and me, for wasting my 'smart time,' intellectual acumen, with a nimrod like you."

This statement proves that your Spiritual I.Q. is sightly above that of an imbecile. There is no comparison between you and me. I have 'repented' with humility. YOU have not, and your arrogant pride won't let you bend your knees to pray. You don't know the meaning of humility.

There is a BIG difference between you and me, you poor boy.

And, perhaps you didn't notice, but the minute Tiger effed up he was suddenly as Black as OJ Simpson to white America. Didn't you see the cover of Vanity Fair? We might be past the "one-drop rule," but not by far.

    You so silly."

OK, you got me. I was hoping to ease out of this, but I see you aren't going to let me slide... I surrender.

"When it comes to voter intimidation, no one EVER admits they were scared away from the polls or scared into voting one way or the other."

So slappy, is there any EVIDENCE that folks were prevented from voting by the NBPP?

Any goons demanding ID or pay stubs?

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll bet they (the Hasidics)scared the crap out of you."

About as much as the NBPP should have scared anyone.

The NBPP weren't yelling and heckling voters in Philly.

And how many white folks were voting at 17th and Hunting Park in North Philly?

C'mon. The whole issue is a farce.

Field, you ignored my question @5:29p. I really need your opinion about the "women" in Philly, if you get my drift. I am speaking in code so LAA won't know what I am talking about.

I know you know. Don't worry, if LAA figures this out, I'll protect you.

The amount of evidence in the NBP case was equal to the evidence of voter manipulation in the Florida results of the 2000 presidential election.

Boy, you think everyone is using an anonymous sockpuppet. You even accused CF and AB of using sockpuppets and they wouldn't think of doing it.

And you don't know to whom you're talking. If you did, you wouldn't presume so much.

First, I would never presume that you're not saved, as you have presumed upon me...

'Nope, for your pathetic butt, there will be no delay..."No traffic jams for Mr. proud Zinger."
Satans helpers will roll out the red carpet for you.'

Second, I would never presume that you're not 'spiritual,' as you have done...

'This statement proves that your Spiritual I.Q. is sightly above that of an imbecile.'

Third, I would never presume to judge your Christian status or lack thereof, as you have done...

'First, I can tell you are not a true Christian. You are a Pharisee.'

Fourth, I would never presume to know the depth or the width of your piety, or your relationship with God, as you have done...

'It is clear that you don't know much. And what little you do know, you got from Satan himself- which means it ain't worth doo-doo.'

So, without modification, I would have to agree with your concluding statement...

Hmmm. . .I didn't know one was invited to be a member of MENSA. I thought one had to apply and provide proof of a "score within the top two percent of the general population on an approved intelligence test that has been properly administered and supervised."

    But maybe I'm wrong ;)

RT, "First, I would never presume that you're not saved, as you have presumed upon me..."

Go back to your statement about the traffic jam to hell. Yes, you presumed I was in line AHEAD of you for hell.

The trouble with you is that you can't own up to your mistakes. That's a sure sign of weak character and a low spiriutal I.Q. There is nothing you can do about it, though. At least, not in this lifetime. So you might as well play around with Zingers.

  105. Annony that gets confused, and references me as RT, and not Zing, as though the two are similar said...'Go back to your statement about the traffic jam to hell. Yes, you presumed I was in line AHEAD of you for hell.'

Did I call it a 'traffic jam to hell' or did you? Where's your spectacles?

You really had to search long and hard for that one to prove me wrong.

You read into it what you wanted to read into it.

Here's my statement, sufficiently vague to mean almost anything. But you chose to give it clarity, and to make you right and me wrong.

Read it again...if you can find in my statement any reference to you going to hell, then, I stand corrected. But if it says, instead, that there's a 'traffic jam up ahead, and I see you in one of the 'lead cars,' then you owe me an apology.

But I don't think 'churchgoers' apologize. They just moralize.

'Then my going to hell is going to be delayed a bit...there's a traffic jam up ahead, and I see you in one of the lead cars, along with other hypocritical 'churchgoers.'

And as a 'churchgoer' you offer a very bad example of the Christian religion, and faith, you profess to embrace and represent.

Aren't you supposed to be winning souls, and not repelling them?

If you're an example of those who are saved, then, I think I'll remain unsaved.

Give this some thought and get back with me. Be careful, though. The saving of my soul, or failing to, may become the burden you bear.

For now, I will not sacrifice.
