Just checking in.

Sorry fellow field hands, I have been off the plantation for a couple of days. I will have a post tonight. I am away on business and trying to mix a little pleasure in between. (Don't worry, I won't end up like this guy. Damn! Even strippers are dangerous in these divided states of A-merry-ca)

Anywhoo, I just got to some of your comments from the last post. Some of you people need Jesus.

I will holla at you later.

Go Phillies!!!!

"pleasure and business oh my! must be nice to enjoy both in this economy!"

Blacks always need criminal lawyers in good and bad times. Actually, criminal lawyers are busier defending Blacks during bad times. :))

Field, I hope you will be able to collect what is owed you without suing those crooks.

  4. Anon.... not as many folks charged with crimes hire private defense attorneys in hard times.... just like everyone else, they can't afford it... So, it's public defenders and court appointeds. In Philadelphia, some of the largest firms have folded. And, there are hiring freezes all over town... and some attorneys are switching to family law or are doing pro bono work for non-profit law firms.... it's tough out there... even for the attorneys.

Field, hope you are enjoying yourself. Here's a wonderful article about the Million Man March and its impact on America.

It's good to be part of a race that knows how to get results!LOL

Dear Jody, where have you been? Thanks for the info. It is surprising to me that some law firms are folding. I bet most of them are progressive liberal dreamers. I bet the conservative law firms aren't folding.

I have a good conservative friend lawyer who is busy as hell, but he is in corporate law.

Btw, what do you think of the complete, totally embarrassing failure of the million man march? I wonder where Mellaneous was while the Black Titanic was going under? What a waste!

Must be awfully painful for you liberal dems?

anon, "Did you read the article? Its all about failure."

It was a colossal failure. But you will never see Field post anything about it. That's why I posted it on FN blog for all to see...esp UTS, LAC, MackLying, Granny, Hathor and a few other big mouth idiots-who have been trying to convince others of success...There was NONE, at least NOT for the Black Community.

Just once I'd like to see us win something AFTER MLK...anything!

  9. Well, well...a black anonymous person who takes pride in failure of their own people. Who openly cheers failure with glee of their own people. Wow! It is no secret that some blacks are self-hating, but anonymous takes it to a new level. They outshined Jesse Lee Peterson in that respect and I didn't think anyone could out do him.

I betcha they're trying out for one of those house negro positions thinking that it will spare them the harshness of racism. So, they've chosen to take the "Massuh butt licker" route.

I'd rather die on my feet fighting for my freedoms than die on my knees licking Massuh butt and taking part in stripping my people of their rights. How smart is that in fighting to be denied the freedoms that every human being on this earth is entitled to.

At least in standing up for my rights, I will maintain my self-respect and in turn gain respect of others even Massuh. No one likes a "butt licker" not even Massuh. When they get through using "butt lickers" they throw them away.

However, those they stand up and fight for their rights in the end gain massuh's respect like MLK, Medgar Evers, and Malcolm X, etc. They went down in history as heroes, but there is no mention of "Massuh butt lickers" not even their name in history.

In reality those house negro did not have it any better. Nope! They were treated just like Michael Steele. That's sad when a person has to give up their self-pride and dignity in order to retain their house negro status.

  10. You would think instead of cheering the failure of their own people they would be rolling up their sleeves and trying to come up with a solution to solve the problem. Smh!

Brother Field....America was ready to elect a Black man for president, buttt.. America is not ready to be led by a Black man. Outside of sports, the majority of Americans.. me included see very few situations where Blacks are in leadership roles. I am not besmirching my people but I did live the first 30 years of my life where I could see, feel and hear Blacks in leadership situations. Reminder..the majority of whites and Republicans exist not in close proximity to us.

  13. For over 400 years discouraging remarks like yours have been piled on my people and they've had to endure them. They don't need any discouragement they need ENCOURAGEMENT!!!

Your so-called attempts at ridicule and scorn do not help. Like I said, instead of rolling up your sleeves and trying to help come up with a viable solution, you'd rather kick them further downhill and in your messed up way of thinking you probably think that is helping them. Browbeating them is not a solution! Scorn and ridicule aren't either. It only contributes to killing their self-worth.

Instead of working against the grain and helping the enemy to destroy them, you should be trying to work with folks who are trying to inspire, uplift, and encourage them. There has been enough damage done by the Media, stereotypes, and those with superior attitudes pushing that myth that blacks are inferior and the tons of negativity that they aim at people of color in order to keep them casted down.

Where is the uplift in your comments?

Paddy-rollers during slavery don't have anything on you. You probably would have taken glee in lynchings because you appear to be taking plenty of joy in the lynching of our President and other black people.

Not sure which anon you are talking to..maybe both... but the million man march WAS a failure. That was the point of the article. But MOST Blacks and others can see that it was a waste.

Are you denying that truth? And what have YOU done for a solution, other than criticize anons? Maybe that is the reason Blacks keep failing because no one HAS rolled up their sleeves? If so, that says a lot about where the black race is headed.

Granny--"Granny, "At least in standing up for my rights, I will maintain my self-respect and in turn gain respect of others even Massuh. No one likes a "butt licker" not even Massuh. When they get through using "butt lickers" they throw them away."

It takes a fierce commitment that says, "Give me liberty or give me death!"-to stand up for your rights in America...like the Tea Party is doing. I don't see any Blacks raising hell. Where are they, Granny?

Our ancesters surrendered to enslavement without much of an argument, let alone a fight. You can call me an uncle tom if you want to, but I am pissed about that. And I am even more pissed that negroes like you are raising hell for immigrants and Mexicans while neglecting your own. You really can't tell me shit about the kind of negro I am. I KNOW who I am and I sure as hell don't want to be like you. Get my drift?

Maybe the history of our fearful Black race might have turned out differently IF we had had enough self-respect and a fierce attitude that said, "give us liberty or give us death". But we didn't then, and neither do you now.

You talk like a bad ass. But our folks are known for having big mouths that deliver 'zero' action- like the Million Man March...

I remember you and some of your cronies attacking Fly for "standing up for her rights". I remember all you negro folks piling in on her like a white mob, trying to tear her down with your arrogant crab-in-the-bucket ass. Granny, you are soooo full of shit your eyes are brown.

You are one of those negroes that believes any negative truth about you, or your race should be swept under the rug and not talked about. It's negroes like YOU that keep the race down. Don't you know that the truth cannot be covered up forever, and that the truth will set your blind ass free?

In any case, why don't YOU roll up your sleeves and show everyone HOW it should be done, miss know-it-all?

  16. sounds like the stripper patron had rather bad karma. seeing clearly is priceless to me...

anon 5:37pm...now YOU KNOW that is too much truth to tell to the slaves in the field. how you going to come up in here talking like a maroon?

    Granny said:
"Maybe that is the reason Blacks keep failing because no one HAS rolled up their sleeves? If so, that says a lot about where the black race is headed."

Granny you were close. Now, I am going to make a minor adjustment...

"Maybe that is the reason Blacks keep failing because MORE BLACK MEN HAVE NOT rolled up their sleeves AND GONE TO WORK IN THEIR COMMUNITITES? THAT says a lot about where the black race is headed."

just as soon as folks start getting real about this truth, the better. women were never intended to hold it down by themselves. sexist farrakhan's call to arms for black men totally missed the mark. at some point the american black male must master SOMETHING other than slick talk and swagger.

wasn't the million man march about atonement? if the focus was on building stronger families was on the agenda...one would think the oow in the last 15 years would have plummeted, no?

who more than the black woman would the black man need to atone? who has the black man dogged more than the black woman and his own children? denial is more detrimental to those that choose to dwell in it than those that refuse. coddling the black man is literally killing him. IF the american black man is to thwart extinction/permanent underclass status, he will need to stand up and make changes...not excuses. IF black women and the children they bear are to live well, black women must not grade their suitors on a curve. they must learn to behave as all the other women on the planet. insist on being treated as a woman or get real comfortable dismissing folks. refuse to have children with folks that have not demonstrated the skill set to be a good provider, protector, or father. black women must seek credentials more than potential-potential seeking is for the teen early twenty set. black women must indeed become colorblind or at the very least deal with the individual in front of them and not the history of the collective...in times of war, the weaker men lose/die. the women attached to the weaker/loser men die a thousand times. think about it.

    ok, carry on...

Field, spare me the bullshit. Do you think Blacks have cared much about each other? Hell, the murder rate among Black males have probably doubled since the MMM. So many black sons today have been abandoned by their black fathers.

    i stand corrected.

as for weighing in, i am happy to do so when the material proves worthy and time permits.

"I thought maybe I was alone on this one."

you are not alone. folks that are not in denial and have the courage to speak the truth are more plenteous than one would think. i salute your courage and stand in solidarity.

"However, if UTS sees your comment, you KNOW he will have something to say. LOL"

and i could not care less. i must give credit where credit is due. that one is consistent if nothing else. having said that, i feel certain whatever the response, it will only prove to be more denial laden nonsense.

    FN-

you are correct, you do not know me. as such, there is NO WAY you can speak to my mentoring. one thing you can rest assured of is that i seek out folks that look like me to give my time to...which is healthy and how folks that win go about their business. winning starts within, remember? on both an individual and collective level.

IF black folks are to EVER rise up in this nation, more of the successful black men like you will need to embrace this truth. charity begins AT HOME. as other black males die and suffer in heartwrenching numbers, you keep reaching other to "OTHER poor minorities". expect reciprocity, from these OTHER minorities, black man, and see how short you come up. when will the black men (and women) on the planet get this? what MORE needs to transpire globally? clues are harder to miss.

officially done with the topic. IF black men don't care about their pitiful condition globally (as evidenced by their sustained MISbehavior) why would anyone else? my focus is the women and the girls...without apology. we live in a patriarchal society. there is an upside to everything...

  25. Child, I rolled up my sleeves a long time ago BEFORE we had Civil Rights and haven't rolled them back down yet. When they passed the Civil Rights Bill I worked for Office for Civil Rights in order to make sure black people like you could get a job other than sweeping floors and driving Ms. Daisy and be able to attend the college of your choice. I haven't rolled up my sleeves yet and am still working in an organization for the betterment of our community and not trying out for no celebrity status, limelight or pat on the back. Facts of business, I am getting tired and weary of dealing with some of our black folks like you who love to stockpile and give the enemy more negative ammunition.

As for Fly, yes, she and I had one disagreement. However, she and I sat down long time ago in private, like two adults, and settled our disagreement and have no ill feelings towards each other. She and I keep in touch with each other to this day and I think she is nice young lady and keep her in my prayers. BTW, the way it was the anonymous folks that kept piling on her...NOT ME! She knows why I said to her what I did and she knows that I mean her no harm and wish her well. And encourage to keep her head up!

One other thing, you do not know me or nothing about because if you did you wouldn't be trying to label me with your false accusation. BTW, things that I am involved in keep me too busy to try to take on the problems and issues that people other than my own are dealing with. The harvest is plenty but the workers are few and like Focuspurposed said the MMM was a call for black men to roll up their sleeves and get busy.

  29. Y'all call it denial of the truth but I'm wondering if the only black people you've come in contact with are unsuccessful black people because if the whole black community was doing bad there wouldn't be a balance nor would any of you have a college degree.

I don't know why you assume that we haven't seen some of the negative stuff going on in black communities or realize that it's there. Have you ever stopped to think that maybe instead of broadcasting it from the rooftop getting busy and doing something about it would be the best course of action to take. Although, blacks are the only group of people that like to broadcast their business. You never hear Asians, whites, jews or hispanics helping others broadcasting their flaws to others. They understand that family business should stay amongst family. When you discuss family business with non family members that's when family business takes a disastrous turn for the worse and gets magnified.

Nevertheless, when a lot of you gained those college degrees what happened that you didn't reach back and give your brothers and sisters a hand and help them over that same bridge? What happened that when you gained those successful jobs you didn't go back and give to help build hospitals, schools, etc., in black communities? Why did you move away and forget about your own people that are beyond help as you say?

I'm sure you know you are lying but so does everybody else on this blog. You have lost a tremendous amount of respect on this blog because of your dishonesty and deceit. I hope you are not a Christian because if you are, you you're going straight to hell.

  33. Granny-

i apologize for attributing words that were not yours to you earlier.

you should know that i don't for a minute sleep on all the work that black women have done for the betterment of black americans. it is for this reason i am quite vocal when folks act like black women's position in the movement was in the "prone position", as one sexist ungrateful well known fool indicated.

unfortunately, the human rights that were righteously sought after; that black women and childred stood on the front lines in harm's way to attain, are benefitting OTHERS more at this point in history. i don't think anyone can honestly say that black women are not standing in the gap doing MORE than God even expects of us...while the menfolk are on an extended vacation from their responsibilities as men. while whining up a storm and blame shifting.

folks CAN say more black women need to vet properly and STOP gifting useless males with the honor of moving their dna forward through children. which is a good segway into the fact that the best and brightest are having FEWER children while pookie nem are procreating like they were only born with the little head. UNCHECKED for the most part. because it is black women's fault, evil white men's fault, and the government-there is ZERO accountability from within with black males. they are to be protected at all costs.

malefolk aren't even ashamed to have multiple "babymamas". MEN regulate the behavior of other men. the menfolk need to get busy with other males THAT LOOK LIKE THEM.

notice how well received cosby's message has been. (and the fact that he has moments of not acting right is NO reason to dismiss him when he is telling the truth. UNLESS folks are willing to dismiss farrakhan's mentor elijah muhammad, dr king, and a slew of other flawed men with a message. PEOPLE are flawed!)

didn"t obamessiah ONLY address black men when urging them to parent their children? now he is back again, asking for prayers. lol. we teach folks how to treat us, individually and collectively.

i wish flotus would stick to the obese children and let her man handle his business. black women running to the rescue is old. plus, he does not come hard when folks are taking shots at her! which they do on the regular. but he has an opinion when skippy gates shows his behind and gets reminded that it is STILL black? okey doke.

all signs indicate quite a few black americans are still going to be worshipping the obamessiah as they settle into their cardboard boxes for the evening to have their supper...a can of dogfood... that they got on sale...with their last dollar...

i think i mixed a response to two posts in one with that comment. lol.

  35. Focusourposed:

Amen, women have always been the backbone in the black community. Women have taken a cup of flour and made a whole meal and desert out it and didn't complain one time.

But honey, you know what happened when God asked Adam did he eat that fruit that God had forbidden them to eat, the first thing that came out of Adam's mouth was the woman gave me the fruit to eat. Therefore, men have been passing the blame to women every since the beginning of time and is nothing new under the sun. Behind any man who has great success there has always been a strong black women. Without a black woman he wouldn't even be in this world because it was her womb that he was carried in for nine months. That's what I call ungrateful because some of them will disrespect a woman in hot flash and think that she should be submissive to him for doing it and greatful just to have a pair of the male pants in the house.

  38. Granny i just read your comment all the way through. let me get this straight...

you think black WOMEN should build hospitals and the infrastructure for the so-called black community?

uh, the heavy lifting being allocated to the womenfolk is so 1960. didn't work then for black women and doesn't work now. if your solution is that black women should DO MORE rather than expect and only accept better, you are doing your daughters/granddaughters a grave disservice.

respectfully, because you are an elder, but you are approaching a game of chess like it is checkers. those in it to win it won't play by self defeating rules.

for those that speak as you do, i am curious...

would you say that the bulk of black america is thriving? or in your opinion, are MOST suffering? and if more are suffering than not, your position is that we should focus on the few?

in my experience, even if you play along and pretend what is so, isn't; other sane folks can see clearly. IF one more non blk person asks me why black men hate black women so much...it might be all the degrading lyrics and images. folks just assume the minstrel is speaking of the women that look like him. trust. IF for a moment they thought otherwise, it would be a wrap on that nonsense.

Anon that is deeply troubled by the annihilation of black americans. i understand. my peace comes from reaching out to the women and children. more offline than on these days. men regulate the behavior of other men. the name of the game is survival of the fittest. those that through their behavior demonstrate they are unfit for survival will perish. life is NOT fair. it is what it is. black americans have achieved more with fewer opportunities, so what's the excuse, again?

while folks pretend that all is well and point to the blackish president as proof---that will also be exactly what those that will have you feel the pain point to as well.

the plane is going down. grab the oxygen mask and put it over your face first. if you are a woman, after doing that, reach out to other women and children. attempting to save/protect men is an exercise in futility. ALL that has transpired to this point should clearly highlight that for black women.

the only male you should attempt to save should be a child, preferably yours. IF he has reached an age (18) where he cannot hear you and receive your instruction, i would say at that point let him be. that's just me though. understand that i have never bought into the whole "long suffering" bit. someone else can waste time with THAT gig.

this is what gives me peace, despite seeing clearly. take what you need and trash the rest.

    ReplyDelete
  39. i don't think FN acknowledges a power higher than himself. from his "pulpit" reference, i gleaned this. those that spend any time in fellowship will share the fact that those saying "preach" are typically NOT behind the pulpit. lol. those that ARE behind the pulpit routinely come out and do good works. unless it is a "church" that further demonstrates quite a few black males fascination with pimpery. (in fairness, and the black women that insist on being complicit in their own exploitation.)

    Anon 11:50pm-

for those misguided souls that seem to believe that there is a difference between the republicans and the democrats...i leave them to chase their tails until they are EXHAUSTED. i don't spend time arguing with them. IF you need someone to draw you a map to common sense, expect to be perpetually lost. having said that, now let me say this...i don't do disrespect. disagree with me if you must. don't address me with expletives. i don't know your gender. if you are a male, no one, clearly, has ever told you how disrespectful it is to address women in that manner. if you are female, know that you will be taken more seriously and better received if you embrace the social construct of "lady" and clean it up. address me again disrespectfully and i will simply ignore you. this is what i do with fools that could be incognito fools if they would just be quiet.

good night all. enjoy the rest of your weekend...that's my plan!

  40. Granny-

i am going to be late to my plans, but i have to say this as well. read your Scriptures. PRIOR to the creation of eve, according to the tale that sexist men like to point to; God told adam to not eat of a certain fruit. read it. it is there, plainly written. adam knowingly disobeyed God. don't fall for the okey doke. his throwing eve under the bus is black male behavior. what other group of men ROUTINELY does this publicly? if other men engaged in this madness, you know there would be a white guy singing about asian love and mail order love, complete with autotune; highlighting all the many reasons they engage in this behavior. as you pretend that black males are behaving like other men on the planet, you delude only yourself. the game has changed Granny. playing by old rules will not help us win.

if eating dog food under obama somehow will make the taste more palatable for you...knock yourself out. for me, i think it will still be dog food. the misbehavior of civil servants that will cause such unacceptable circumstances should be just as vehemently resisted as if it were obamessiah's cousin bush. somewhere i read today he is also related to jimmy carter as well, through his mother's black folk enslaving family of course. ya'll keep playing...

ok, for real this time. good night! lol!

  41. Focus, you need to go back and read what I said because I thought you and I were talking about black men. No where did I mention white men in that. Nor did I single out black women in my other comment.

Who the President is related to has nothing to do with his position. The majority of black folks in the United States whose ancestors have been here since slavery if they have any ancestors in history who had a white father and black mother or a white mother and black father are related somewhere down the line to politicians. If you get to digging in your family's history and dig deep enough you'll will find that out. Honey, we're all related. It just goes around in a circle. There was a reason behind slaves being referred to on schedules by gender only or first name only to keep that little secret hidden. Slavery was the rebirth of a peculiar institution indeed.

  46. Granny-

i followed your directive and revisited your comments. in truth, i was reading and typing quickly so as to not be too late for my plans. i wasn't too late, just late. lol. i will do better next time.

i call your attention to your comment @ 9:02 PM. you are not clear as to who you are speaking of. at no time did you indicate that you were speaking of black men. it must be generational differences that cause you not just call it out plain and clear. i very clearly indicated that i was speaking of black males.

Granny do you not see the marked difference between back in the day black men and the males running around today? also, you mentioned bw being the "backbone". i would say "mules"/"breeders" would be a more accurate description at this point. and you mentioned black women being "behind" black men. um, again, generational differences. we KNOW black women are behind and under black males doing their darndest to prop them up, protect them, lift them up and provide for them. be that financially, emotionally, or sexually. i am not interested any longer in co-signing that crazy. i am more interested in getting black women to understand they deserve to be the women that is BESIDE the black man. whose image is uplifted/protected by black men? who is being honored with marriage, provision, and protection by black men?

are you not aware that the new school minstrels sing and make a joke about how it is the black woman that holds them down when they are without, but when they get "on" they are leaving her for a white girl? thank kanye "i love mutts" west. at least he just came right out and said it. the others just DO it. and some mcnairs don't even leave. they just open the black woman up to all type grief, humiliation, and infections. nope, i don't see myself being vague and ambiguous anytime soon. and as i said before...there is an upside to everything. or as Scriptures teaches us: what the devil meant to destroy us with will be turned to our good.

your assertion that obamessiah's relatives have no relevance to his position= more denial. were it NOT for his mother and her people, he would be as potus as shirley chisholm and alan keyes were. NOT. anyone arguing with that assertion is also probably totally convinced that america has now successfully transcended race. lol. i am not one to argue with folks that choose a lullaby lie over much needed wake up salts.

  47. i don't have to dig in my family to know that there are white folks. i am real clear. it would be nice if other "relatives" could join the happy dancing negroes in singing kumbayah. but of course only our immediate black family act like illegitimacy is the same as legitimacy. notice how the rest of the "human family" like to treat black folks like barely tolerated bastards. that was the point of the racist one drop rule. can't let the bastards inherit the wealth of the legitimate children. yet through it all, blacks are so busy singing kumbayah, we don't quite get around to protecting our interests as an immediate family. heck, increasingly, the immediate family is comprised of women and children alone. somehow, as we pattycake the menfolk, they have created a matriarch within a patriarchal society to shirk their responsibilities and will.say.it.in.some.circles.

we also have an affinity, i have noticed, for claiming strays (what are these folks referred to in Scriptures?) and SWEARING they belong and are legitimate; even as they turn on us routinely, much like obamessiah. he is black when he needs something and biracial when he is ignoring us to death.

the confusion and whining starts when black folks are unsuccessful in convincing OTHERS to adopt this same counter-productive behavior.

anon 5:02 am, thank you for mentioning AB and me in the same sentence. i take it as a compliment. in many ways we are clones. we are melanin rich, loc'd for life, introverted, yet passionate courageous extroverts at other times. good on you for taking notice.

to your point of us all being "kin". ok, fine, if you insist. we are human. so technically you are correct. however, i view you as the distant strange relative that is best engaged in very small doses. understanding that if one stands too close to trash for extended periods of time, one is likely to reek/stink.

speaking of digging in families, i am sure if all families did this, they would find quite a bit of trash. trash comes in all colors and are related to non-trashy folks, much to the non-trashy folks' horror and chagrine. thanks for representing the trash element and again for the AB compliment. do you. because I WILL do me to the fullest. we are cool as long as you don't ask to borrow any money, distant cousin. lol.

"Granny you relish and declare too much about having white ancestors. It's like you take pride in it. Trust me, you do it a lot. It's annoying, not very field negro like. Please stop."

Anon, you nailed it. During Jim Crow, Blacks who could exclaim, "I have White blood in my family"-- used it subtly as a kind of human status position within their own race, to elevate themselves as though they were better than some of their black brothers and sisters. That alone will divide a race....I can hear my dead Grandmother many years ago, exclaiming, "There is nothing more that I can't stand than a black greasy N-word." Of course, she was married to one. LOL. Go figure. But as a child, I felt those remarks degraded my Grandfather. And I loved my Grandfather but hated her. She was a mean-ass sick angry sad woman.

I learned later, however, that it wasn't 'just' my Grandmother who felt that way. Other Blacks felt that way, also- and I bet many still do. It's just not talked about so openly anymore in these so-called post-racial times. lol

Imo, Granny is one of those unconscious unaware Blacks who leads a 'double' life. She 'talks' about not laundering publically our shortcomings as a race because the white man will see it...like it's really going to make a difference.LOL. That's just another unconscious slave mentality that has been passed down. Who gives a f... what he might see?

On the other hand, she loves to talk publically about the white blood in her family history. Clearly, it's a way to medicate the pain of the shame of being Black on one hand, but proud to have white blood on the other. The proof of this is that Granny has CONSISTENTLY let folks on FN blog--like you and me--know that she is at the top of the human black chain because of her white blood. Granny has been doing this for years on FN...She reminds me of my sick self-hating Grandmother.

The truth(there's that word again), however, is that Whites could give a shit less how much white blood Granny, or any other Black has. They will, consciously or UN-consciously STILL see and react to Blacks as 'different' and less than they are.

The proof of this reality is seen and experienced nationally from the offensive racial slurs hurled at Obama and his family, even though he is 'supposed to be' POTUS.

I say 'supposed to be' because I am not convinced that he is a full-fledged President of America. To me, he's seems to be walking on eggshells-kind of like a slave or a Black during Jim Crow. Plus, some Whites have been reacting to him as though he is an 'insult to their whiteness. They see him as beneath them, and therefore, not their President.

Because Granny 'apparently' values the White blood in her more than her Blackness, Granny seems to have lost all sense of reality and who she really is as a Black person. She has taken an 'illogical' dreamy wishful blood-kinship to Whites-- and has followed that 'illogic' to a 'logical' kumbaya conclusion.

It's this kind of 'Kumbaya' thinking that keeps Blacks stuck and mired in profound delusion. It appears to come from an old unconscious slave mentality-- that the master one day will recognize his true kinship to us and we will be one big happy loving family!.... Right.

It is a reason for me bringing it up and it has nothing to do with being proud of the white folks in my family. In fact, it is just the opposite."

If you read my comment closely, I use 'unconscious' and 'unaware', in YOUR case. It means you either don't know or 'unaware' of what you are 'actually' thinking or feeling in your communications to others. And if you felt just the opposite of what you were saying.. as you NOW claim, you wouldn't be talking so much about all the white blood in your family. Humans usually remain mute about things they are not proud of.

Fyi, I am not as young as you think. I was in highschool and college during the 60's. During 'those' days, most Blacks were singing and shouting "I'm Black and I'm proud." No Black person was talking about white blood in their family--except maybe you.

It's now 2010 and it appears that you have never stopped your prideful talking about white blood in your family. Hell Granny, you might as well be singing, "I've got white blood and I am 'extremely' proud of it."

And Anon WAS right. You DO talk about it a lot....so much that it is sickening. But when people tell you that you are doing it, you deny it. Unfortunately for you, you are too blind, stubborn and thick-headed to EVEN consider 'the possibility' that maybe other people might have a point about you.

You lack the virtue of self-examination, and therefore hopeless, imo. You, Field and his followers are shining examples of what is wrong with our race today, which is an inability to look in the mirror.

"Good Luck" when meeting St. Peter at the Pearly Gates to Heaven. You're going to need it, considering the countless lies, and back-tracking to cover up those lies. LOL

Thank you for worrying about my salvation, but don't you think you should be worried about your own? Your comments reeks of hatred. I don't hate people because of their skin color.

Nor do I think that all white folks are racist or evil people because just like in any other group of people there are good and bad in all of them, because some of them will stand with you and help you quicker than some of your own people.

Nor do I agree with whites who think that all blacks are criminals, hoes, pimps, losers etc., or that have condesending attitutes or hateful racist attitudes towards blacks or any other minority. Whites who believe in the superiority myth with condescending and racist attitudes are full of hatred as well because in my book they are despicable.

Those abolitionist who risked their lives and helped black folks escape through the underground railroad were white. Some of them died helping black folks and were burned out of their houses, but that did not stop them from helping to free those black people.

Some whites marched with MLK and some of them died to fighting for our rights too. So, I am not gonna lump them all in the same boat just like I refuse to let whites or any other group lump us all in the same boat.

I've experienced just as much racism on the job, in school, and daily living that is ongoing as you, but I am not gonna let hatred blind me to the point that I judge and attach a label to all white folks or any other group of people. For anyone to have that type of mindset puts them in the same category of those full of hatred for their fellow man. If everyone on this earth had that way of thinking we wouldn't get anything done. Instead the murder rate would go up until not one single living soul would be left on this earth.

You can believe what you wanna believe that is your prerogative because what your assumptions are not gonna change who I am. It is no skin off my back.

  55. What sort of pride should I take in my white great-great grandpappy that took advantage of slavery and slept with my great-great grandmother and fathered two children by her, slept with her sister and fathered a child by her, and then turned around and send his son out there to to father two more children? BTW, he sent his son out to a couple of his female slaves after he slept with them? Yup, he sent their HALF-WHITE BROTHER out there to sleep with them against their will.

What type of pride should I take in the fact that he slept with four more of his female slaves and had children by them too. One of them he had five children with and the other ones he had one or more and he had a wife?

What type of pride should I take in the fact, that before he would let any of his black male slaves marry or have a mate, he had to sleep with the woman first?

He brought female slaves to sleep with them and and pass them around. And I am supposed to feel pride in that? He brought my grandmother when she was 14 years old!

He didn't free them, and I am supposed to feel some type of pride behind his depraved actions and what he did to them?

    Yeah, I hear ya!

Nevertheless, for some reason you think that I am feeling pride in what he did to my grandmother and aunt. Facts of business, I think that is some sick-minded dung!!! Your sick-minded for even assuming that I have pride in that, especially when you don't know the whole story of what took place with my ancestors and what they went through.

Nah, sweetie, my intentions was to show how we've been cheated out of our inheritance and a few other things.

Deception is the game that anonymous folks play to keep up confusion on which anonymous we're speaking to. They attack and won't leave any type of signature so that we can't tell the difference or which one said it. That's deception and deceit.

Only a few of them are courteous enough to leave some type signature to distinguish the difference. So for I know you might be the same anonymous backing up your own comments. That's deception and dishonesty.
