Hypocrisy accomplished.

It has been a year since O and his band of Navy Seals took down the tall Arab guy with the long beard. Of course, as is to be expected, Flipper and company do not like to be reminded about it. "Even Jimmy Carter would have given that order". Oh stop it! Flipper is so classless. Just days after the guy (Carter) gives him a compliment, he makes fun of the former President for making a courageous call (albeit a failed one) to save American citizens who were being held hostage in a foreign country.

Republicans are claiming that O is politicizing the killing of OBL and are outraged that an American president would politicize the war on terror. ---That sound you hear is me throwing up. I would like to take you back to the year 2003, and I want you to picture a certain president standing on an aircraft carrier and declaring that our mission in Iraq has been "accomplished".

How about a certain Mayor of a city that was attacked on September 11, 2001? He is a man who actually ran for president and based his entire campaign on his actions during that tragic time in the nation's history? And yet, republicans cry a river over O taking credit for killing OBL. Unbelievable!

But that's republicans for ya. I loved the oped in the Washington Post that I read about them:

"Rep. Allen West, a Florida Republican, was recently captured on video asserting that there are “78 to 81” Democrats in Congress who are members of the Communist Party. Of course, it’s not unusual for some renegade lawmaker from either side of the aisle to say something outrageous. What made West’s comment — right out of the McCarthyite playbook of the 1950s — so striking was the almost complete lack of condemnation from Republican congressional leaders or other major party figures, including the remaining presidential candidates.

It’s not that the GOP leadership agrees with West; it is that such extreme remarks and views are now taken for granted.

We have been studying Washington politics and Congress for more than 40 years, and never have we seen them this dysfunctional. In our past writings, we have criticized both parties when we believed it was warranted. Today, however, we have no choice but to acknowledge that the core of the problem lies with the Republican Party.

The GOP has become an insurgent outlier in American politics. It is ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition.

When one party moves this far from the mainstream, it makes it nearly impossible for the political system to deal constructively with the country’s challenges." [More]

Yes, even something as simple as acknowledging the killing of the most wanted terrorist in the world becomes a problem.

This is not "dysfunctional", this is delusional.

How can you downplay the capture/killing of the most wanted man in the world for the 10 years prior to his death?

Now because Prez Obama is Black, he has to downplay this monumental accomplishment, while a draft dodger/election stealer had the opportunity to land on an air craft carrier with the FALSE statement " mission accomplished"!!!

Well, President Obama was pretty quiet when Obama was killed. Why must he start blowing his horn now? There can be only one reason: POLITICS.

Let's face it. Romney is going to be a formidable foe for Obama in color, brains, money, healthcare, and respect for people of color. Let's face it. The Dems are afraid.

  4. Silly Field Negro, of course no one wants Obama to take credit for bagging bin Laden. To the unreconstructed among us, that's all Shrub. In their eyes, Shrub and the GOP gets all the credit for anything good that happens on Obama's watch while the Captivatingly Kenyan Socialist Marxist in Chief gets saddled with all the negative shit. Business as usual for those folks.

Allen West needs to sit down somewhere. Or have someone ask him if he has any decency.

Is this what you keep telling yourself? Just accept that Romney's merely on a well-publicized ride towards a graceful loss and Obama's second inauguration into office. Romney gets to make loads of dough, the GOP gets to look like it's doing something and the Teabagging wingnuts get to shake their fists at the "Nig*** in Chief" for another four years.

Oh no, O's not politicizing Osama. Nope, those aren't campaign ads you see and he wasn't quiet about it until now. Nope. Hows the economy?

No and no one knows the Admiral who was responsible to make it happen and if it didnt work take the fall, Nope.

Why would anyone condemn West for telling the truth? There are 81 members of congress who are clearly communists, go to communist award ceremonies and live a communist doctrine. Wasn' it just last year that you and your allies were proudly proclaiming there was nothing wrong with communism, it's what this country needs? Make up your mind. Hows the unemployment rate. Is it really 11% without all the Obama manipulation.

"Extreme remarks" are there any other kind from the leftists? How are gas prices?

Dysfunctional? Yes, Democrats are. Where is the legally required budget? One that hasn't been passed since Obama took office and democrats who controlled congress and the senate from 2006 controlled everything including the presidency from 2008-2010.

Carter was the worst president ever. Obama has him beat hands down. Nothing but whackjobs and racists support him now.

Yeah you keep telling yourself that as Romney who hasn't even picked a VP is already beating Obummer in the polls. You can continue to frame it in your infantile point of reference..it's all about race...that might be what it is about for you. For most it's simply he is a bumbling boob and the worst president ever. As for the fact that he is half black, he wouldn't have even gotten a whiff of the white house were it not for that. I saw the word "Hypocrisy" and I assumed you were referring to black hypocrisy over the fact that an arrest still hasn't been made in the case of a black male (Cordell Lamar Jude) murdering an unarmed hispanic male (Daniel Adkins) at a Taco Bell in Phoenix.

Why aren't blacks marching and demanding justice? Where's the outrage?

BTW, the decision to take out Bin Laden was made by Admiral William McRaven, not Obama (who was probably busy golfing).

SEALs slam Obama for using them as 'ammunition' in bid to take credit for bin Laden killing during election campaign

Serving and former US Navy SEALs have slammed President Barack Obama for taking the credit for killing Osama bin Laden and accused him of using Special Forces operators as ‘ammunition’ for his re-election campaign.

The left typically lives by trying to frame the discussion with insane repetitive rants. Normal people don't wind up agreeing, they just get tired of listening to crazy windbags. Not anymore. We see that crazy windbags really can destroy this country and don't deep down have the capacity or morals to stop or change direction when things go insanely wrong.

Now even the Seals are publicly blasting Obama. Another democratic campaign tactic that has exploded in their face. If only he had a presidency worth something he could run on he wouldn't need all this nonsense and be degrading the presidency as he is doing.

Ryan Zinke, a former Commander in the US Navy who spent 23 years as a SEAL and led a SEAL Team 6 assault unit, said: ‘The decision was a no brainer. I applaud him for making it but I would not overly pat myself on the back for making the right call.

‘I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrifice - it was a broader team effort.’

"In years to come there is going to be information that will come out that Obama was not the man who made the call. He can say he did and the people who really know what happened are inside the Pentagon, are in the military and the military isn’t allowed to speak out against the commander- in-chief so his secret is safe.

New Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, socialism
    http://www.washingtontimes.com/blog/inside-politics/2012/apr/30/new-obama-slogan-has-long-ties-marxism-socialism/

The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism.

Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)."

"The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains.

The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of European Marxists and radicals that their movements reflected the march of history, which would move forward past capitalism and into socialism and communism.

The Obama campaign released its new campaign slogan Monday in a 7-minute video. The title card has simply the word "Forward" with the "O" having the familiar Obama logo from 2008. It will be played at rallies this weekend that mark the Obama re-election campaign's official beginning.

There have been at least two radical-left publications named "Vorwaerts" (the German word for "Forward"). One was the daily newspaper of the Social Democratic Party of Germany whose writers included Friedrich Engels and Leon Trotsky. It still publishes as the organ of Germany's SDP, though that party has changed considerably since World War II. Another was the 1844 biweekly reader of the Communist League. Karl Marx, Engels and Mikhail Bakunin are among the names associated with that publication.

East Germany named its Army soccer club ASK Vorwaerts Berlin (later FC Vorwaerts Frankfort).

Vladimir Lenin founded the publication "Vpered" (the Russian word for "forward") in 1905. Soviet propaganda film-maker Dziga Vertov made a documentary whose title is sometimes translated as "Forward, Soviet" (though also and more literally as "Stride, Soviet").

  16. Obama has shamelesly "spiked the football" over not vetoing an impressive operation by the U.S. military over and over again, right from the start.

Now, Obama’s no-brainer “gutsy call” — by which he allowed the SEALs to kill Osama bin Laden — turns out not to be even half gutsy. From a memo written by the CIA head after getting the green light:

The timing, operational decision making and control are in Admiral McRaven’s hands. The approval is provided on the risk profile presented to the President. Any additional risks are to be brought back to the President for his consideration. The direction is to go in and get bin Laden and if he is not there, to get out.

The memo puts all control in the hands of Admiral McRaven — the “timing, operational decision making and control” are all up to McRaven. So the notion that Obama and his team were walking through every stage of the operation is incorrect. The hero here was McRaven, not Obama. And had the mission gone wrong, McRaven surely would have been thrown under the bus.

The memo is crystal clear on that point. It says that the decision has been made based solely on the “risk profile presented to the President.” If any other risks – no matter how minute — arose, they were “to be brought back to the President for his consideration.” This is ludicrous. It is wiggle room. It was Obama’s way of carving out space for himself in case the mission went bad. If it did, he’d say that there were additional risks of which he hadn’t been informed; he’d been kept in the dark by his military leaders.

Finally, the memo is unclear on just what the mission is. Was it to capture Bin Laden or to kill him? The White House itself was unable to decide what the mission was in the hours after the Bin Laden kill, and actually switched its language. The memo shows why: McRaven was instructed to “get” Bin Laden, whatever that meant.

Now Obama is shamelessly running on McRaven’s success, preposterously implying that Romney wouldn’t have let the mission go forward. The basis of this smear is Romney’s awareness that Al Qaeda was never a one man operation.

Campaigning on the SEALs taking out Osama is pretentious and pathetic, but other than voter fraud, it’s all Obama has.
