Rand lectures the Negro, Jim has a "colored" friend, and Joe explains climate change.

Rand Paul was at Howard University lecturing Negro students about the history of the republican party the other day, and while I am sure that all the young people who were present appreciated his outreach effort, (not the fact that he lied to them) I bet they wish that he wasn't quite so condescending in his approach. Rand, here is a news flash for you: those college kids know the history of your party and black folks. You need to be explaining why it is that your party tolerates people like Jim Gile.

"Saline County, Kansas Commissioner Jim Gile (R) told the Salina Journal it was a "bad choice of words" when he used the expression "nigger-rigging it" in a heated discussion that was being recorded.

Gile insisted that he meant to say "jury-rigged," noting "I had it on my brain and this came out. It was a bad choice of words. I'm sorry."

Of course Jimmy went on to say that some of his best friends are black and that  he has helped to build homes for "colored people." (Yes,he really said that)

And when they are not being racist they ignore science.

Let's take a look at another republican, Joe Barton.

"Speaking before the House Subcommittee on Energy and Power this Wednesday, Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) cited a biblical flood as an example of climate change that was not anthropogenic in nature.

During the committee’s hearing on a bill that would give Congress the authority to approve the petroleum-delivering Keystone XL Pipeline, Barton asserted his support for the project before noting that he does not deny climate change, but rather, that he disputes whether the phenomenon is man-made." [Source]

The people of Texas should be embarrassed after reading those comments.

Finally, I didn't comment on Margaret Thatcher's passing because I really don't like to speak ill of the dead, but....... I will let someone else say it for me.

"Margaret Thatcher has been accused by the Australian foreign minister of having held "unabashedly racist" views after he revealed that the late former British prime minister had warned him of the challenge posed by immigration from Asia.

Bob Carr, who served as premier of New South Wales between 1995 and 2005, said that Thatcher pleaded with him to ensure Sydney did not "end up like Fiji" where citizens of Indian heritage formed a majority until a coup in 1987.
Carr, whose wife is of Malaysian origin, spoke of his surprise at Thatcher's remarks. The senator told the Lateline programme on ABC TV: "I recall one conversation I had with her in her retirement where she said something that was unabashedly racist, where she warned Australia – talking to me with Helena [his wife] standing not far away – against Asian immigration, saying that if we allowed too much of it we'd see the natives of the land, the European settlers, overtaken by migrants."

Carr expressed astonishment when Thatcher drew an analogy with Fiji, where the Indo-Fijian community formed a majority of the population in 1970 when it achieved independence from Britain. The community, descendants of labourers who travelled to the former British colony to work on sugar plantations in the late 19th century, has fallen to just over 38% in the last two decades after a 1987 coup. In 2000 Mahendra Chaudhry, the first Indo-Fijian prime minister, was taken hostage in another coup.

Carr said: "I was astonished. Helena fortunately was out of earshot. I remember one thing she [Thatcher] said as part of that conversation. She said: 'You will end up like Fiji. I like Sydney but you can't allow the [Asian] migrants … to take over otherwise you will end up like Fiji where the Indian migrants have taken over." [Source]

No wonder conservatives loved her so much.

  2. Sigmund Freud explained a “Freudian Slip” in (1901). According to Freud, unacceptable thoughts or beliefs are withheld from conscious awareness, and these slip help reveal what is hidden in the unconscious.

Just another peckerwood from the “good ol” boy network publicly announcing his hatred for blacks via a Freudian slip. Wait a darn minute, …… didn’t a group of House Negroes just spoke highly of the Reupblican party on Fox News, extolling their inherent virtues and how much they love black folks? Oh well, I guess numb nuts Jim Gile either didn’t get the memo or he doesn’t watch Fox News that often.

  6. Rand W. Paul, Ron Paul's idiot son, contends that you black folks changed your political orientation after FDR "gave you" some leftover second class scraps of the new-deal bailout that saved so many of the great-grandklanners of todays Tklanners. I must've missed that in my Modern American History course, because I thought that it wasn't until after Lyndon "I don't consult my nigger maid" Johnson of all people rammed through the CRA of '64 and VRA of '65 (both of which he, RWP, opposes TODAY) over republiklan /dixicrat filibusters that black folks began shifting decisively to the Democrats and (eventually) chased all of the old crusty southern reactionaries out. Before that, according to most texts, in those places where where black people were allowed to vote (Northern Cities) they voted for whatever machine of whichever party made them the best deal that election. Elsewhere there simply wasn't a black electorate of which to discern its political alignment.

(MELISSA HARRIS-PERRY) YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT CHILDREN HAD FN WRITTEN ALL OVER IT.

Because FN is all about the state asserting ownership of our children? These were her comments:

“We have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents”

Only a Stalinist without any children could agree with that. But then again, that's what you are, right?

LIES. All LIES. Thatcher adored AAs but had some problem with east Indians because India had a cast system against their own people, and treated women badly.

Dixie cunning is the policy of the GOP in the US in order to gain political support in the Southern section of the country. Polititrically, the concept generally uses themes traditionally supported by residents of the South in order to win election in those states
Since segregation continued well into the late 20th century in the region, the old whig party officially attempted to utilize this wedge issue as a way of garnering support for their political faction in these states.
In addition to the issue of segregation between caspars 12 blind boys and African desc, the party also utilized Southern attitudes, ethics and ideals(they call values ) of religion, gun control and a distrust of counterculture to win votes.

Truth be told during the 1950s and 1960s, the Old boy network minus thei white wigs generally opposed desegregation and the Civil Rights Movement.

This angle caused a major shift in the voting practices of the African community to the support of the Democratic Party,( vs GIFTS" )the faction which helped legislate laws such as the Voting Rights Act. Party officials, specifically.

So my people please cease and desist the belief that the GOP wanted the Afrikan vote for any other reason than Slavery by another name (good book)

    To counter this
Richard Nixon's political strategist understood that in order for the GOP to win the Southern states, they needed to focus their attention on the Caucasian population. and that the Afrikan would follow?

This is the strategy used now. The gun freaks and racist are intact, its the house negros the GOP needs now, Why is that? What happened to the Spanish speaker?

    Thoughts?

  18. Some neocon said that the GOP, should write off the black vote. They should forget it exists because, in so much as they need it doesn’t exist.

The neo con alleged that writing off the black vote would trigger more charges of racism from the left and their go fers in the media.

The neo cons in my humble OP both individually and collectively have roll their eyes at the charge. The charge of racism, they reiterate, is virtually devoid of content. Oh is that so?
    Continue to read

You either believe that (dark-skinned people) have the same intellectual and moral capacities as light skinned people, or you don’t believe it. If you do, it follows that dark-skinned people should be held to the same intellectual and moral standards as light-skinned people…and criticized (vigorously, regardless of the skin color of the critic) whenever they fail to meet those standards.
For example, it isn’t racist to point out that there is no deliberate or accidental conspiracy to deprive African Americans of their natural and civil rights. The fact that many Africans think voter ID laws are meant to disenfranchise black voters shouldn’t dissuade whites from pushing for such laws; that’s just another thing many African Americans are wrong about. Nor is it racist to point out that the main cause of black underachievement in the United States is that a grotesquely high percentage of young African Americans make calamitous intellectual and moral errors — dropping out of school, abusing drugs and alcohol, engaging in irresponsible sex — and end up weighed down by the consequences the rest of their lives. Nor is it racist to point out that young African Americans are marinating in a degenerate urban culture — even when they’re raised in mansions that normalizes calamitous intellectual and moral errors, indeed celebrates such errors as signs of racial authenticity. (Witness, for instance, the widespread adoption of the term “baby daddy” as a substitute for “husband” despite the fact that every pathology known to man is exaggerated among children born out of wedlock
None of the above is racist because (1) there is no such thing as a racist truth and (2) the underlying premise is that Africans are fully endowed ( is he talking PENIS again? ) intellectual and moral agents and thus fully responsible for their individual actions.

1 When did baby daddy come to mean husband/ Dang the ghost does not remember when his daddy became my grandmothers without permisssion

    -------

    That's kind of true.

But the CRA and VRA should be opposed on principle, as both undermine the Constitution. Their positive aspects were already a matter of law, and their negative aspects undermined the principles of federalism and equal treatment under the law.

And these acts, along with the War on Poverty, were all just part of an effort to buy black votes with other peoples money.

Since President Lyndon “I’ll have those niggers voting Democratic for the next 200 years” Johnson declared “war on poverty,” U.S. taxpayers have spent $15 trillion on so-called anti-poverty programs—a figure slightly less than the national debt.

Despite the $15 trillion U.S. taxpayers have spent since the war on poverty’s inception, poverty in America is largely unchanged, and violence and dysfunction is way up in poor communities. Last week, figures from the U.S. Census Bureau revealed that nearly 50 million Americans live below the federal poverty line. You get more of what you pay for, I guess.

This is all very profitable for some folks, as companies that administer Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards profit when the welfare rolls swell. Since 2004, for example, JP Morgan, which donated $808,799 to Barack Obama in 2008, has made at least $560,492,596 running EBT programs for 18 states.

And let's not forget the 98%+ voter payoff this buys democrats from a certain demographic! The fact that subsidizing misery has tended to produce more misery is just collateral damage for the greater good.

So keep criticizing the Republicans for not reaching out to black voters and then dumping on them whenever they do. We appreciate the effort!

What I remember about her was how she let 10 beautiful, young Irish men die on hunger strike, and refused to even consider any of their demands. And when Bobby Sands died, he wasn't even given any of the respect usually given a British MP who passed away while in office. I hope she's where she belongs. Judging by the stock markets the last two weeks have been one of the best periods ever but the reality - hidden behind a smoke-screen of central bank liquidity and jawboning mirrors is dire. The last ten days have seen miss-after-miss in macro economic data - in fact this is the biggest plunge in macro data in 10 months. Despite the stock market's exuberance (at all-time highs), macro data has rolled over dramatically to 4-month lows. Of the major economic data points we have missed 18 of the last 20. With sentiment sagging, GDP revising lower, and earnings season disappointing, we can only imagine the BTFD opportunities that await.

As the economy crumbles, poverty in the United States is absolutely exploding and so is homelessness. In addition to the thousands of "tunnel people" living under the streets of America, there are also thousands that are living in tent cities, there are tens of thousands that are living in their vehicles and there are more than a million public school children that do not have a home to go back to at night. The federal government tells us that the recession "is over" and that "things are getting better", and yet poverty and homelessness in this country continue to rise with no end in sight. So what in the world are things going to look like when the next economic crisis hits?

Obama and the democrats are purposefully creating the conditions for another financial crisis. The last one they engineered through the Mortgage Meltdown got us a quasi-Marxist government bent on "Change". What will they be able to do with the next crisis?

The shit is about to hit the fan.

But they aren't. Today, being a member of a favored race is more important than the content of one's character. Civil rights turned out to have nothing with equality and a level playing field and everything to do with protected classes with extra rights. "Diversity" means no whites. Anti-racist equals anti-white.

King's message was the mask that covered the snarling face of race-based totalitarianism.

Those 68 Senators voted to disregard and show no allegiance to the Constitution they were to support and defend.

Sixty-eight US Senators cast a vote for legislation that violates the US Constitution.

These men and women – 68 of them – violated their oath of office.

Because today in Washington DC, a bunch of parents from Newtown, Connecticut have more authority over these Senators than the US Constitution they swore to uphold.

The many are being governed by the grieving few.

This is how our nation conducts its affairs in the age of Obama.

We ignore, and worse, defy our Bill of Rights just because some parents, who six months ago nobody knew, flew to Washington DC to hector and cry to US Senators.

So now twenty dead in children in Newtown, Connecticut are going to dictate our system of laws rather than our Constitution.

    Why?

Because those 68 Senators don’t want those twenty kids to die in vain.

And in so doing, they have in one vote said that the deaths of those twenty children are more important to our nation than the hundreds of thousands of US servicemen and women who have given their lives in support and defense of our way of life and our Constitution.

Because 68 Senators and a bunch of reporters from the Enslaved Press want to make the parents of the Sandy Hook tragedy feel better, they have spit on the graves of every single soldier who lost their life in defense of this nation.

We can’t speak honestly about the violation of the Bill of Rights because it came dressed in the form of grieving parents.

What happened in Newtown is tragic. It is a horrifying, awful thing. But are we really willing to dictate public policy, not according to our Constitution, but on the emotional reaction to a tragedy?!

One day, and I hope for their sakes it is soon, the pain and grief the Newtown parents are feeling over the tragic, senseless deaths of their children will wane. One day, they will be able to move on with their lives.

But this violation of the Second Amendment that was rushed through out of pity and horror will not fade. We will be stuck with this long after the tears have dried, and the sorrow and pain abates.

This is not how a civil society is governed.

This travesty of a vote, this willing violation of those 68 Senators’ oath of office only proves that We the People are no longer governed by a Constitutional Republic.

And that is a greater tragedy still.
