"Donald Trump Stands by Diagnosis of Obama as ‘Psycho’", and a silly debate on cable.

Projection anyone?

"Last night, Donald Trump used his prolific Twitter account to make this assessment of President Barack Obama’s mental health in light of the country’s Ebola panic:
@realDonaldTrump

I am starting to think that there is something seriously wrong with President Obama's mental health. Why won't he stop the flights. Psycho!

When NewsMax’s Steve Malzberg confronted Trump with those words during an interview Thursday, the mogul made no attempts to back away from his statement. Calling him someone who “chooses his words carefully,” Malzberg said he was “struck” by Trump’s description of the president as a “psycho.”

RELATED: Donald Trump Wants Obama to Get Ebola (or Something)
“There’s something wrong, and nobody knows what it is, but there’s something wrong.” Trump told Malzberg. “Can anybody be that incompetent?” he asked of Obama’s handling of the Ebola issue.

“There’s something wrong,” Trump repeated again. “There’s something going on. Every decision that this country is wrong. Everything’s wrong! Everything is going wrong for the United States.”

To sum up, Donald Trump thinks something is “wrong” but he doesn’t know what it is."

Here is a guy who owns casinos and declared bankruptcy more times than I care to count and he says the guy at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is doing something wrong.

But hey, he says he doesn't know what it is. Maybe it's just the guy running the country. I wonder what it is about this particular guy? Hmmm.

But enough about the Trumpster.

JO’Reilly vs. Stewart: The ugly truth about that white privilege debateon Stewart and Bill O' Reilly had a showdown about white privilege and the thought of two white guys playing point counter point on racial issues to generate ratings just seems a bit unsavory to me.

I am disappointed with Stewart, but I don't know why I expected better from him. He is, after all, an entertainer, and at the end of the day it's all about the money.

I don't think Stewart understands the concept of "white privilege" anymore than O'Reilly does, but for purposes of their silly showdown he took the contrary position.

I  have to agree with Joan Walsh's take on it.

"At this point the whole thing feels like brand-enhancing shtick for both men. “I want you to admit that there is such a thing as white privilege,” Stewart opened, proving that he knows there’s no hope of a genuine debate or even conversation. “I just want you to say I’ve been terribly wrong about this.”

O’Reilly demands that Stewart admit there’s “Asian privilege,” his new secret weapon in the war on the war on racism.  As long as O’Reilly can show that “Asians” are doing better than white Americans — of course that’s only certain subgroups of Asians, for complicated reasons — he can prove that white Americans are blame-proof for the struggles of black Americans.

Anyway, are they really struggling? Not in O’Reilly’s world. “Maybe you haven’t figured out that there’s no more slavery, no more Jim Crow, the most powerful man in the world is a black American, and the most powerful woman in the world, Oprah Winfrey, is black.”

The truth is, if you want to understand white privilege, there is plenty of evidence to examine to prove that it exists. It’s easy. You stand in the shadow of 400 years of monstrous, inventive cruelty, and you shudder, and then you get to work for change. But if you want to deny it, there is plenty of “evidence” for that argument too, mainly “Asians” and Oprah and Obama and let’s throw in Condoleezza Rice. We’re not going to convince O’Reilly and his demographic. We have to out-organize, out-vote and out-live them.

That’s why these two men’s showdowns are getting tedious to me. It helps Stewart’s brand, it help’s O’Reilly’s brand. Stewart proves he’s superior, O’Reilly proves he’s an embattled warrior for the truth. Two white men, making their money, and everybody goes home happy. The Daily Show host even admitted at the end of the show that “it’s F-ing fun!”

I love Jon Stewart, but I have to say; it’s hard not to wonder if the guy who told the “Crossfire” debaters they were “hurting America” a decade ago might say the same about the two guys yammering last night." [Source]

Amen Ms. Walsh. Amen.

White privilege is code for black failure.

Whites are hated for their success, but blacks sure love the things white society offers.

People from all over the world are doing whatever they can to get into white countries and start getting oppressed.

Has it ever occurred to anyone that Blacks are the most jealous people on the planet?

People like PX, PC and Field are jealous of Whites like Kinky and Bill. They will always find fault with Whites but remain silent about the faults of Blacks.

I'm sure Kinky has noticed this pattern. I bet Bill has noticed too but he is too much of a gentleman and is too polite to say anything that might directly offend Field and his disciples.

But Kinky will say it. Kinky pulls no punches. Everyday on FN he lays out some Negroes, including Field.

Kinky, I don't know if you know this but Field, PC and esp. PX can't handle the truth in the manner you present it. You must find a kinder, softer way for Blacks, mainly because they have a hard way to go in America...You too, Bill.

Sad to see that Wilberforce University in Ohio, the oldest African American college, may have to close it's doors due falling enrollments and lack of funds. I enter this fog because I see all these multi, multi-millionaires draped in the latest costumes on BET last night displaying African American wealth. One of my truism.... the white man always know whom to allow money to come to.

Four years ago, I commented on another Black institution that was having difficulty. Today that school is gone, unable to muster less than a million. Will Willberforce meet the same demise? Reminds me when we first integrated with the whites. The city closed ALL OUR SCHOOLS down in one swoop. When you take away a man's past. you take away his future. So I guess AAs future will be grown men rapping about nothing dancing while holding their crotch while the last of OURstory be lost.

Please, this is not about you all this time. Because the first three college for whites were fostered by the Atlantic trade. We all have our history.

And yes, thank you for being a driving force in the creation of our African American's school in 1860s. There were good white people then as well. Thank you again. {Now my people} remember what I said at the front end. He knows whose hands to place money... then as well as now

Please don't insult me with the "usual Black hi-rollers".

  30. This is for Bill-oh who thinks describing Obama as a Conservative is nuts....

"The Democratic incumbent has surrounded himself with conservative advisors and key figures — many from previous administrations, and an unprecedented number from the Trilateral Commission. He also appointed a former Monsanto executive as Senior Advisor to the FDA. He has extended Bush tax cuts for the wealthy, presided over a spiralling rich-poor gap and sacrificed further American jobs with recent free trade deals. Trade union rights have also eroded under his watch. He has expanded Bush defence spending, droned civilians, failed to close Guantanamo, supported the NDAA which effectively legalises martial law, allowed drilling and adopted a soft-touch position towards the banks that is to the right of European Conservative leaders. Taking office during the financial meltdown, Obama appointed its principle architects to top economic positions. We list these because many of Obama's detractors absurdly portray him as either a radical liberal or a socialist, while his apologists, equally absurdly, continue to view him as a well-intentioned progressive, tragically thwarted by overwhelming pressures. 2008's yes-we-can chanters, dazzled by pigment rather than policy detail, forgot to ask can what? Between 1998 and the last election, Obama amassed $37.6million from the financial services industry, according to the Center for Responsive Politics. While 2008 presidential candidate Obama appeared to champion universal health care, his first choice for Secretary of Health was a man who had spent years lobbying on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry against that very concept. Hey! You don't promise a successful pub, and then appoint the Salvation Army to run it. This time around, the honey-tongued President makes populist references to economic justice, while simultaneously appointing as his new Chief of Staff a former Citigroup executive concerned with hedge funds that bet on the housing market to collapse. Obama poses something of a challenge to The Political Compass, because he's a man of so few fixed principles."

"Arctic ice trend from 2011-2014 is positive:"

No ANTarctic ice-trend is positive that is because the southern hemisphere has massively more ocean compared to the northern hemisphere which has much more land (y'know America/Canada/Russia/China etc etc.).

Thus there is much more heat capacity in the Southern oceans to absorb global warming than in the northern hemisphere.

So increasing ice coverage in Antarctic is entirely inline with climate change predictions.

No, actually both are positive - the Antarctic long term and the Arctic short term.

Long-term, Arctic ice is well below the 30 year average. However it has grown over the past three years.

So it is a true statement that both the southern and northern ice sheets are expanding, at least over the past few years.

Also I forgot to mention "stop and frisk" as a particularly diabolical brand of humiliation, particularly against teens, whose senses of pride are still especially vulnerable. NYC, at least,is happily trying to curb that.

  43. "Long-term, Arctic ice is well below the 30 year average. However it has grown over the past three years."

That would be what we call "cherry picking" data. Choosing a particular time scale (in this case three years) simply because it's convenient for your argument, when you could have picked 5, 10 or 30 years.

in 2012 Arctic sea ice shrank to the smallest area ever recorded — only 1.32 million square miles were measured on Sept. 16, 2012. This was more than a million square miles less than what would be considered "normal" at summer's end. So just because 2013 and 2014 were not the worst years ever, does not mean the situation is improving. As I said earlier, 2014 was the sixth worse year since records began.

    **

"So it is a true statement that both the southern and northern ice sheets are expanding, at least over the past few years."

No absolutely not a true statement. See my previous answer.

Sorry anonymous, I didn't realise just how stupid you are. Let me pitch my argument at a lower intellectual level so that you might understand.

Let me know if I go too fast for you, I will try to use small words where possible.

    1. Climate is complicated. It's like a big complicated machine.

    2. Just because on average the world is getting warmer, that doesn't mean everywhere in the world is getting warmer everywhere all the time.

    Still with me? Good!

    3. There's more ocean in the bottom half of the world than in the top half. That's because the top half of the world has big countries like Russia, Canada, China, USA and Puerto Rico*

    4. Therefore there is more deep-lying cold water in the southern oceans than in the north half.

    5. Therefore that extra amount of cold sea water will absorb more heat from global warming in the southern oceans than in the northern oceans.

    6. This phenomenon was predicted by the very first climate change scientists in the 1970's. And their prediction is true.

Some people will refuse to believe anything. Even when it is presented by 97% of the world's climate experts in peer-reviewed journals.

That scenario would apply to about 3, maybe 4 people in the entire country. All jurisdictions proposing Voter ID requirements have included provisions for providing free ID's to anyone in the extremely rare situation you have described.

Actually not true. The Antarctic sea ice is expanding but the Arctic sea ice is well below historic average. 2012 had the lowest sea ice coverage on record. Still, this doesn't change the fact that the planet is warming and we are on track to have our warmest year on record.

I doubt your figures are accurate. Sure, I agree that there should be a way to verify the identity of a voter but the sweeping laws have been shown to disenfranchise thousands of voters not 3 or 4. Plus there have been no cases of in person voter fraud suggesting the immediate need to voter ID.

Arctic ice has expanded since 2011:

    http://sunshinehours.wordpress.com/tag/arctic-sea-ice/

The statement that Arctic ice has expanded in recent years is true.

Yes, it is still historically low. But if rising CO2 were to blame, the trend could not have reversed.

And of course Antarctic ice extent is at record levels...

    ReplyDelete
  58. If Arctic sea ice is declining, why was 2014′s minimum extent above the last two years?

There are year to year fluctuations in both Arctic and Antarctic sea ice extent due to randomly varying weather patterns. The fact that the 2014 sea ice minimum in the Arctic contained 640,000 more square miles of ice cover than the record minimum in 2012 have led some to conclude the Arctic sea ice is recovering. But the trend in Arctic sea ice is in an unmistakable long-term decline, as Climate Central reports:

The average annual sea ice extent has been declining by 4.52 percent per decade, according to NSIDC statistics — that amounts to a loss of about 20,500 square miles of ice per year. The September minimum has seen an even steeper decline of 13.7 percent per decade, or about 34,000 square miles per year."

    ReplyDelete
  59. "Yes, it is still historically low. But if rising CO2 were to blame, the trend could not have reversed."

Can't say that with any amount of certainty. CO2 of course would not be the sole cause of Arctic ice forcing but taken on the whole CO2 concentrations are causing warming as we have seen a steady increase in temperatures over the last several decades.

    ReplyDelete
  60. "Arctic ice has expanded since 2011:"

Not true at all. 2012 was the lowest Arctic sea ice extent on record. 2014 is the sixth lowest on record. Even with a slight increase in the last two years we are well below historic averages.

"While summer sea ice has covered more of the Arctic in the last two years than in 2012’s record low summer, this is not an indication that the Arctic is returning to average conditions, Meier said. "Arctic sea ice coverage continued its below-average trend this year as the ice declined to its annual minimum on Sept. 17, according to the NASA-supported National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC) at the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Over the 2014 summer, Arctic sea ice melted back from its maximum extent reached in March to a coverage area of 1.94 million square miles (5.02 million square kilometers), according to analysis from NASA and NSIDC scientists. This year’s minimum extent is similar to last year’s and below the 1981-2010 average of 2.40 million square miles (6.22 million square km).

"Arctic sea ice coverage in 2014 is the sixth lowest recorded since 1978. The summer started off relatively cool, and lacked the big storms or persistent winds that can break up ice and increase melting," said Walter Meier, a research scientist at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland."

Any day now, Arctic sea ice is expected to bottom out at its sixth lowest extent on record reports the National Snow and Ice Data Center (NSIDC). Its 2014 extent is roughly 440,000 square miles below the 1981-2000 average. This year’s levels are a hair above 2013′s, by approximately 11,600 miles. The Arctic has lost about 11,100 square miles of ice per day so far this September, nearly the twice the average 1981-2010 rate."

"Is 30 years really long enough? If you look at the last 800 years, Arctic and Antarctic ice extent have increased massively since the days when the Vikings farmed in Greenland."

Ahhh yes, I wondered when they would arrive - the fabled Viking farmers of Greenland so beloved of climate change deniers.

    Read this....

"Greenland was called Greenland by Erik the Red (was he red? :-) who was in exile and wanted to attract people to a new colony. He believed that you should give a land a good name so that people want to go there! It very likely was a bit warmer when he landed for the first time than it was when the last settlers starved due to a number of factors, climate change, or at least some bad weather, a major one. But it was never lush and their existence was always harsh and meagre, especially due to the Viking’s disdain for other peoples and other ways of living. They attempted to live a European lifestyle in an arctic climate side by side with the Inuit who easily out survived them. For heaven’s sake, these people starved surrounded by oceans and yet never ate fish! (Note: this was not a typical European behaviour and is in fact a bit of a mystery to this day).

Instead of hunting whales in kayaks, they farmed cattle, goats and sheep despite having to keep them in a barn 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for a full 5 months out of the year! It was a constant challenge to get enough fodder for the winter. Starvation of the animals was frequent, emaciation routine. The pressures of grazing requirements and growing fodder for the winter led to over production of pastures, erosion and the need to go further and further a field to sustain the animals. Deforestation for pastures and firewood proceeded at unsustainable rates, leading, after a couple of centuries, to such desperate measures as having to cut precious sod for housing construction and even burning it for cooking and heating fuel.

When finally confronted with several severe winters in a row, they, along with the little remaining livestock, simply starved before spring arrived."

So there you go, the legendary Viking famers of Greenlandstarved to death!

Meanwhile the Inuit who lived besides them lived happily ever after.

    You've got two problems...

    1. You need to identify what the mechanism is behind this alleged natural cycle of yours. There must be something forcing a global change in weather because a forcing, there can be no change in global energy balance. So natural or otherwise, we should be able to find this mysterious cause. Scientists have looked for it, and haven't found it.

    2. Your "natural cause" argument needs to come up with an explanation of how a 35% increase in the second most important greenhouse gas does not affect the global temperature.

Scientific heory predicts that the temperature will rise given an enhanced greenhouse effect, how come this is not happening?

Climate scientists community have developed, an internally consistent theory that predicted exactly the effects we are observing. It provides an explanation and makes predictions that match what we are now seeing...

So what is your model, or theory whereby CO2 does not affect the temperature?

  94. White people speaking about racial issues shouldn't come across as "unsavory" to anyone, and for a couple of good reasons.

    1) "White" is still a race.

    2) White people, as a whole race, but particularly males, are consistently blamed for the failings of all people in America when they fail -- blacks and other minorities, women, etc.

So, I commend the likes of O'Reilly for actually speaking about race. If someone thinks they have it wrong, that's one thing. But for as many times as O'Reilly himself and guys similar to O'Reilly have been called racist and have been scapegoated as the reason black kids fail in school and are unemployed, they need to stand up for themselves and put an end to this crutch of "white privilege."

Yes. 80% is covered with 'permanent' ice. However, the Vikings settled on part of the other 20%, in Southern Greenland during the Medieval Warm Period. These settlements failed with the end the Medieval Warm Period and onset of the Little Ice Age.

These natural cycles are due primarily to eccentricities in the Earth's orbit, a slight wobble in its tilt, and changes in Solar radiation, along with a lot of other factors that aren't completely understood.

The climate changed long before their were Republicans or Oil Companies.

  110. From National Climate Assessment Report created by the National Climate Data Center

"Climate has changed naturally throughout Earth’s history. However, natural factors cannot explain the recent observed warming.

In the past, climate change was driven exclusively by natural factors: explosive volcanic eruptions that injected reflective particles into the upper atmosphere, changes in energy from the sun, periodic variations in the Earth’s orbit, natural cycles that transfer heat between the ocean and the atmosphere, and slowly changing natural variations in heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere.
2000 Years of Heat Trapping Gas Levels 2000 Years of Heat Trapping Gas Levels Details/Download

All of these natural factors, and their interactions with each other, have altered global average temperature over periods ranging from months to thousands of years. For example, past glacial periods were initiated by shifts in the Earth’s orbit, and then amplified by resulting decreases in atmospheric levels of carbon dioxide and subsequently by greater reflection of the sun’s energy by ice and snow as the Earth’s climate system responded to a cooler climate.

Natural factors are still affecting the planet’s climate today. The difference is that, since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, humans have been increasingly affecting global climate, to the point where we are now the primary cause of recent and projected future change.

The majority of the warming at the global scale over the past 50 years can only be explained by the effects of human influences, especially the emissions from burning fossil fuels (coal, oil, and natural gas) and from deforestation."

The natural climate variables have been taken into account by climatologists. The earth's tilt and wobble have long term planetary effects, thousands of years, they do not explain the very recent warming that is occurring very rapidly.

    --

When you use the term "very rapidly" you are choosing a time scale to delineate weather from climate that validates your theory.

Any theory that requires cherry-picking of data and time lines or fudge factors (temporary ocean heat sinks) is not a robust one. Any theory that requires adjustment, exaggeration, "massaging", or outright falsification "hide the decline") is probably wrong.

Look out the window. The sky is not falling. There has been no increase in the rate of rise in sea levels, no warming over the last 18 years, and no increase in extreme weather. There are more people living more places and we see all the weather now.

Reliable satellite data goes back about 35 years. Atmospheric CO2 levels have been several multiples of today's levels many times in Earth's history. CO2 is not a pollutant, it a good thing, the basis of all life on earth. The higher the CO2 level, the more plant growth you get. This is good.

The idea that there is going to be some runaway feedback mechanism that inundates half the world is ridiculous and not supported by any rational analysis of the facts.

Do you not find it curious how the Global Warming theory so faithfully validates every Statist demand and desire: control of industry, increased regulation of personal choices, increased taxation, demonization of economic power sources associated with the "right",and the need for propaganda to be disseminated through the media and the schools?

Do you not even have a hint of skepticism when government-sponsored science concludes that the government is justified in siezing more power and control?

  120. "Do you not even have a hint of skepticism when government-sponsored science concludes that the government is justified in siezing more power and control?"

What does that have to do with the observed increase in temperatures over the last several decades? I study meteorology and I'm not too concerned about conspiracy theories. I also study and have studied under well regarded climatologists who are in no way "government sponsored", only interested in the science of the atmosphere.

"When you use the term "very rapidly" you are choosing a time scale to delineate weather from climate that validates your theory."

Well not really. I don't have a "theory" to validate. Temperatures have been rising over the last several decades. I can only go by the data.

"Look out the window. The sky is not falling. There has been no increase in the rate of rise in sea levels, no warming over the last 18 years, and no increase in extreme weather. There are more people living more places and we see all the weather now."

Not sure by what you mean by sky falling. There are observed gravity waves all the time in which the sky is kind of falling. But when you say no warming in the last 18 years what are you referring to? We are in a warming trend in which we have experienced several of the hottest years on record. Please show me data which shows there has been no warming in 18 years. We are actually on track for 2014 to be the warmest year in recent history.
As well as your data where have you studied atmospheric science?

The observed data directly contradicts your claim.

"NASA Finds 2013 Sustained Long-Term Climate Warming Trend

NASA scientists say 2013 tied with 2009 and 2006 for the seventh warmest year since 1880, continuing a long-term trend of rising global temperatures.

With the exception of 1998, the 10 warmest years in the 134-year record all have occurred since 2000, with 2010 and 2005 ranking as the warmest years on record.

NASA's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS) in New York, which analyzes global surface temperatures on an ongoing basis, released an updated report Tuesday on temperatures around the globe in 2013. The comparison shows how Earth continues to experience temperatures warmer than those measured several decades ago.

The average temperature in 2013 was 58.3 degrees Fahrenheit (14.6 Celsius), which is 1.1 F (0.6 C) warmer than the mid-20th century baseline. The average global temperature has risen about 1.4 degrees F (0.8 C) since 1880, according to the new analysis. Exact rankings for individual years are sensitive to data inputs and analysis methods.

"Long-term trends in surface temperatures are unusual and 2013 adds to the evidence for ongoing climate change," GISS climatologist Gavin Schmidt said. "While one year or one season can be affected by random weather events, this analysis shows the necessity for continued, long-term monitoring."

  123. https://www2.ucar.edu/climate/faq/how-much-has-global-temperature-risen-last-100-years

"The graph above clearly shows the variability of global temperature over various time intervals (such as year to year or between decades) as well as the long-term increase since 1880. The full Working Group 1 report, to be finalized in early 2014, is addressing in detail the slowdown observed in the rate of warming since the late 1990s. (For more, see the FAQ entry: "Hasn't Earth been cooling since 1998?")

There are slight differences in global records between groups at NCDC, NASA, and the University of East Anglia. Each group calculates global temperature year by year, using slightly different techniques. However, analyses from all three groups point to the decade between 2000 and 2009 as the hottest since modern records began more than a century ago. Temperatures in the 2010s have been running slightly warmer still."

  125. "Anthony Watts is a climate skeptic best known as the founder and editor of the blog Watts Up With That (WUWT), which primarily publishes articles skeptical of climate change. He is also the director and president of IntelliWeather Inc., a weather graphics company alternatively known as Innovative Tech Works (ITWorks) and Weathershop. He is also the founder of Surfacestations.org, a project with the stated purpose of documenting the siting quality of weather stations in the United States. According to documents released in 2012, Watts has received funding from the Heartland Institute.

Watts previously worked as an on-air meteorologist for WLFI-TV in Lafayette, Indiana, and later joined KHSK-TV in 1987. In 2002, Watts left his position as a television weatherman to devote time to his private business, ITWorks. He returned to work part-time at KHSL in 2004, and has also been the chief meteorologist for KPAY-AM (an affiliate of Fox News) since 2002. [21], [22]

Watts admits “I'm not a degreed climate scientist” on his WUWT profile, and his primary credential appears to be an American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval. This does not mean that Watts is “AMS Certified” as some sources have inaccurately claimed. The AMS Seal of Approval is a discontinued credential that does not require a bachelor's or higher degree in atmospheric science or meteorology.

Watts's “About” page mentions neither his Purdue attendance nor whether he graduated. Watts has refused to say whether he graduated, and a number of direct queries to Watts to find out if he graduated from college were rebuffed. [1]"

So Watts got funding from the Heartland Institute which is a conservative "think tank" that denies AGW. Shocking. He also refuses to state whether or not he graduated from Purdue. Geez, you get your info from the QLB of weather.

The "facts" presented were inaccurate. 2014 is on track to be the warmest year on record so that necessarily discounts the information you provided. The fact still remains the information from wattsupwiththat is suspect because he is not a climatologist. You also cannot have it both ways, you question NASA's information because they are government funded but Watts gets his funding from a conservative think tank that disputes global warming.

    http://www.weather.com/news/science/environment/september-2014-warmest-record-nasa-20141014

"Last month was the warmest September in historical temperature records that date back more than 130 years, NASA said Sunday in its monthly global temperature report.

The global average temperature for September 2014 was 0.77°C (1.38°F) above the 1951-1980 historical average for the month, the agency reported Oct. 12 in its monthly Global Land-Ocean Temperature Index, which shows the temperature anomalies for each month of the year going back to 1880.

September 2014 marks the second consecutive record-breaking warmest month, as August 2014 also was the warmest such month in NASA's records. May 2014 also was the hottest on record, NOAA said earlier this summer, while four of the five hottest Mays have occurred in the past five years.

Though temperatures for the rest of the year remain to be seen, this year's record-breaking warmth indicates that 2014 could go down as the world's hottest year on record, according to temperature trends identified by NOAA's National Climatic Data Center."

    ReplyDelete
  128. "four of the five hottest Mays have occurred in the past five years."

That is a warming trend so that discredits the notion that there has been no warming in the last 18 years.

You lost so you declare it over because the presenter of the data does not have the right credentials. Thus spake Pilot Fake, the Science is Settled.

The data is RSS satellite data, straight from the RSS website. Dr Carl Mears, the senior research scientist at RSS, spends the time to try to spin the meaning of the hiatus in the warming, but the fact remains that there has been no global warming in over 18 years. You can't be bothered even to acknowledge that fact, you simply dismiss the entire analysis based on where the man got his degree.
