The crime rate for illegal immigrants is no higher than for native-born citizens at the same income levels.
The negative impact of illegal immigrants on state budgets is pretty modest. (And the cost of deporting 11 million of them would eat up any savings in a heartbeat.)
Anyway, these economic arguments ignore the essential assholishness of deporting people who've lived here for decades, and who have strong ties to their communities and loads of family members who are U.S. citizens.

The crime rate for illegal immigrants is no higher than for native-born citizens at the same income levels.
The negative impact of illegal immigrants on state budgets is pretty modest. (And the cost of deporting 11 million of them would eat up any savings in a heartbeat.)
Anyway, these economic arguments ignore the essential assholishness of deporting people who've lived here for decades, and who have strong ties to their communities and loads of family members who are U.S. citizens.
And none of this is about rational economic arguments, anyway. It's strictly racist (some white people don't like Latinos) and partisan (the GOP is now based around being the white people's party and hasn't a clue how to appeal to anybody else).

What's full of shit is you. Combat arms is dominated by whites, from special forces, infantry, artillery, armor, and air assets. The vast majority of the trigger pullers are White.
You also don't know squat about agriculture. Not a thing. There is a huge move to less labor, not more and the skill sets the Hispanics bring are not needed or are antiquated. Of course they do dominate in large abattoirs, but they displaced Americans with high paying wages in the process.

Yes QLB, I saw that program too,with the machine that does the crop picking or whatever. BUT, it's still being developed, it is not in use yet QLB! AND it is not suitble for all crops either! Especially the more delicate ones!
