"Mind blowing decisions."

Image result for republican candidates imagesI would like to take this opportunity to welcome Lindsey Graham to the race to become president of these divided sates of America.

I am having a hard time keeping up with all of the republicans who expressed a desire to lead our great nation into the past future.

Let's see now: Marco, Rand, Jeb, Scott, Ben, Chris C, Dale, Chris, Ted, Carly, Mike, Bobby, George, Rick P, Rick S, Donald, Brian, Dennis, Chris.

Did I leave out anyone? I am sure I did. Please forgive me my republican friends, this isn't easy. That's a lot of names to remember.

I am still trying to figure out my favorite among this motley crew.

Mike?

"former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee perpetuated one of the most pervasive myths about transgender people at a convention earlier this year, suggesting that men can abuse trans-friendly laws for voyeurism in women's bathrooms.

"Now I wish that someone told me that when I was in high school that I could have felt like a woman when it came time to take showers in PE," Huckabee said in a video resurfaced on YouTube over the weekend by World Net Daily, according to a report by BuzzFeed's Megan Apper and Andrew Kaczynski. "I'm pretty sure that I would have found my feminine side and said, 'Coach, I think I'd rather shower with the girls today.'"

Nope.

Donald?

"Donald Trump doesn't think Mitt Romney can compete with his business success.
In an interview with The Des Moines Register published Monday, the real-estate mogul and TV personality dissed other wealthy men who have campaigned for president.

"I'm the most successful person ever to run for the presidency, by far. Nobody's ever been more successful than me. I'm the most successful person ever to run. Ross Perot isn’t successful like me. Romney — I have a Gucci store that’s worth more than Romney."

Nope.

Ben?

"First of all, we have to understand how the Constitution works, the president is required to carry out the laws of the land, the laws of the land come from the legislative branch. So if the legislative branch creates a law or changes a law, the executive branch has a responsibility to carry it out. It doesn't say they have the responsibility to carry out a judicial law."

"JUDICIAL LAW?! Again, no.

Carly?

"If this happens (Hillary becomes president) – I am moving to Canada,” she wrote on Facebook. “There is NO need for her as she is not the right person to run our country – but more importantly a female shouldn’t be president. Let the haters begin . . . but with the hormones we have there is no way we should be able to start a war. Yes I run my own business and I love it and I am great at it BUT that is not the same as being the President, that should be left to a man, a good, strong, honorable man.”

Yikes!

Sarah Palin, might want to consider making a comeback.

  3. The Department of Homeland Security said Monday that the acting administrator for the Transportation Security Administration would be reassigned, following a report that airport screeners failed to detect explosives and weapons in nearly every test that an undercover team conducted at dozens of airports.

According to a report based on an internal investigation, "red teams" with the Department of Homeland Security's Office of the Inspector General were able to get banned items through the screening process in 67 out of 70 tests it conducted across the nation.

The test results were first reported by ABC News, and government officials confirmed them to CNN. Mark Hatfield, acting deputy director, will take over for Melvin Carraway until a new acting administrator is appointed. It was not immediately clear Tuesday where Carraway would be reassigned.

67/70 is a 95% failure rate. Heck of a job, brownie.

I wonder what kind of failure rate it would have taken to get Melvin fired instead of reassigned?

No one is held accountable in this administration. Everyone fails up. Ask Susan Rice.

    The circus is in town!

So let's see. How will this go down?

Well, since she's not in the running this time, I guess we'll all be missing Michele Bachmann's entertainingly batshit crazy utterances, such as her claim that the HPV vaccine will turn your kids retarded. But I'm sure Ted Cruz, Ben Carson, and Mike Huckabee can make up for her absence in the insane pronouncements department. Expect lots of dark insinuations about socialist plots, sneaky Mooslums and their shariah laws, godless queers wanting special rights, and women being too slutty these days.

And I predict that there will be no shortage of bumbling and ignorance with uber-dimwits Scott Walker and Rick Perry in the race. Facts? What are those? We don't need no stinkin' facts. The national debt is eleventy-skajillion dollars. Vienna is located in Australia. Ronald Reagan wrote the Constitution. Who makes policy based on reason and evidence, anyway? Snooty liberal elitists, that's who.

Marco Rubio will spend all his time pretending he never, ever attempted to pass that immigration reform bill (amnesty!) a couple years back. Didn't happen. You imagined it. Deport all Latinos! (Except for Marco Rubio.)

There will be plenty of helpful reminders to the public that Chris Christie is a dirty, rotten crook.

All of them will be try and outdo each other in claiming that global warming isn't real and that we must immediately "do something" about ISIS. (None of them will have any realistic plan for getting rid of ISIS, of course; they'll just moan a lot about how the existence of ISIS is all Obama's fault because he's a wimpy Code Pink peacenik who wears "mom jeans" and won't say sufficiently mean things about Islam.)

Yep, it's going to be one long and tedious year.

"No one is held accountable in this administration. Everyone fails up. Ask Susan Rice."

Susan Rice didn't "fail." Right-wing legislators just threw a temper tantrum at her because she wouldn't go along with their dumb, made-up conspiracy narrative.

Susan Rice was sent out to tell ridiculous lies about Benghazi to cover for Hillary.

She knew they were ridiculous lies but said them anyway. It was all due to a YouTube video.

I am so proud of the GOP. They are showing how important it is for every able and skillful and competent statesman to be responsible and serve this great country of ours. Just look at the long line of statesmen the GOP has.

Now compare the number of politicians the Dems have. It's not even close! It's obvious to me the GOP has many more selections and therefore will win in 2016, UNLESS Elizabeth Warren changes her mind and runs as an independent.

  12. Hillary Clinton quotes:

October 24, 2014: “Don't let anybody tell you that, you know, its corporations and businesses that create jobs."

June 9, 2014, omitting the fact she received a $8 million book advance in December 2000, prior to leaving the White House: “We came out of the White House not only dead-broke, but in debt. We had no money when we got there and we struggled to piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea's education. It was not easy.”

September 14,2012: “We will make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

January 23, 2013: “With all due respect, the fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided to go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”

March 17, 2008: “I certainly do remember that trip to Bosnia, and as Togo said, there was a saying around the White House that if a place was too small, too poor, or too dangerous, the President couldn’t go, so send the First Lady. And that’s where we went. And I remember landing under sniper fire. There was supposed to be some kind of a greeting ceremony at the airport, but instead we just ran with our heads down to get into the vehicles to get to our base. But it was a moment of great pride for me.”

March 25, 2008, eight days later, after being called out for lying for years about a corkscrew landing and sniper fire while visiting Bosnia as First Lady: “I made a mistake and, you know, I had a different memory, and I, you know, my staff and others have, you know, all kind of come together trying to sort out, so I made a mistake, that happens, it proves I'm human.”

January 26, 1996. Appearing before a Grand Jury, Hillary Clinton claimed she did not know how legal records from dealings in Arkansas had been taken and placed in her White House quarters, just days after claiming no documents had been taken: “I, like everyone else, would like to know the answer about how those documents showed up, after all these years.”

From her 2003 autobiography Living History, Hillary Clinton attempted to explain a suspicious $100,000 windfall from trading cattle futures with shady characters in 1979: “But soon after I got pregnant with Chelsea in 1979, I lost my nerve for gambling. The gains I had made suddenly seemed like real money we could use for our child's higher education. I walked away from the table $100,000 ahead".

  14. Hillary's accomplishments as First Lady:

When Bill Clinton was president, he allowed Hillary to assume authority over a health care reform. Even after threats and intimidation, she couldn’t even get a vote in a democratic controlled congress. This fiasco cost the American taxpayers about $13 million in cost for studies, promotion, and other efforts.

Then President Clinton gave Hillary authority over selecting a female attorney general. Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood – both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration. Next she chose Janet Reno – husband Bill described her selection as “my worst mistake.” Some may not remember that Reno made the decision to gas David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths of women and children.

Husband Bill allowed Hillary to make recommendations for the head of the Civil Rights Commission. Lani Guanier was her selection. When a little probing led to the discovered of Ms. Guanier’s radical views, her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.

Apparently a slow learner, husband Bill allowed Hillary to make some more recommendations. She chose former law partners Web Hubbel for the Justice Department, Vince Foster for the White House staff, and William Kennedy for the Treasury Department. Her selections went well: Hubbel went to prison, Foster (presumably) committed suicide, and Kennedy was forced to resign.

Many younger voters will have no knowledge of “Travelgate.” Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts to Clinton friend Harry Thompson – and the White House Travel Office refused to comply. She managed to have them reported to the FBI and fired. This ruined their reputations, cost them their jobs, and caused a thirty-six month investigation. Only one employee, Billy Dale was charged with a crime, and that of the enormous crime of mixing personal and White House funds. A jury acquitted him of any crime in less than two hours

Still not convinced of her ineptness, Hillary was allowed to recommend a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone, for the position of Director of White House security. When Livingstone was investigated for the improper access of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate) and the widespread use of drugs by White House staff, suddenly Hillary and the president denied even knowing Livingstone, and of course, denied knowledge of drug use in the White House. Following this debacle, the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office after more than thirty years of service to seven presidents.

Next, when women started coming forward with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton, Hillary was put in charge of the “bimbo eruption” and scandal defense. Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle was:

    · She urged her husband not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit. After the Starr investigation they settled with Ms. Jones.

    · She refused to release the Whitewater documents, which led to the appointment of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor. After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent, Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky, which led to Bill lying about and later admitting his affairs.

    · Hillary’s game plan resulted in Bill losing his license to practice law for lying under oath to a grand jury and then his subsequent impeachment by the House of Representatives.

    · Hillary avoided indictment for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation by repeating, “I do not recall,” “I have no recollection,” and “I don’t know” a total of 56 times while under oath.

    · After leaving the White House, Hillary was forced to return an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork that she had taken.

You can see that current scandals like the destruction of incriminating emails while Hillary was Secretary of State and the “pay to play” schemes of the Clinton Foundation are nothing new. This is what she is.

  20. Health insurers are proposing to raise Obamacare rates more than in the past — some by more than 70 percent — now that they are finally equipped with all the information they need to price those plans.

Plans wanting to raise rates by at least 10 percent next year posted the proposed increase online Monday, as required by the 2010 healthcare law. Insurers are allowed to raise rates each year, but they must publish significant increases ahead of time.

Insurers have sold plans in the law’s new insurance marketplaces for two years in a row. But the difference in 2016 is that for the first time, they have a full year of claims data from enrollees that tells them how high or low to set the price tag. . . .

While plans and rates vary by state, a look at rate increases published Monday on healthcare.gov shows many hovering around 10 to 30 percent in many states.

But there’s also a sprinkling of even bigger hikes. Blue Cross wants to raise its most expensive “platinum” plan in Alabama by 71 percent next year. Aetna wants to charge 59 percent more for one of its small group plans in Virginia. Time Insurance Co. is proposing a 64 percent hike for an individual plan in Georgia.
