It's Friday, so I am sure that you all have a lot to say.

Personally, I am still trying to wrap my hands around Mr. New York getting all kinds of Bama love on the "Redneck Riviera".

    Trump's tweet:

"We are going to have a wild time in Alabama tonight! Finally, the silent majority is back!"

    Chortle. The "silent majority."

Wingnuts never tire of that self-deceiving nonsense, do they? I wonder at what point it will dawn on them that they are not actually the majority. Except in places like Alabama, where they obviously are the majority, but are anything but silent -- in fact, are loudly and offensively conservative.

Speaking of loud and offensive, it's pretty clear that a New York billionaire is suddenly rather popular among blue-collar Southern rednecks only because he's fluently speaking their language of resentment and fear. At this point, Trump should just drop the fig leaf completely, and go full racist. Why bother with "anchor baby" and "amnesty" when he can hype the crowds up to new levels of ecstasy with "wetback" and "bean bandit"?

As it often is, 9/11 truth is on my mind. World Trade Center Building 7 was the third World Trade Center tower to fall on 9/11, and it wasn't hit by a plane. The government admitted that several stories worth of the collapse was at the speed of gravity. And the rest of the collapse almost was. That means there was no resistance. More than 80 steel columns ceased to exist. Since the entire building fell uniformly, straight down into it's own footprint, the steel columns were all removed simultaneously. The building didn't collapse in parts or tip over. The government told us the cause of this collapse was furniture fires and that they didn't look for explosives. The melting point of steel is 2600 degrees. Jet fuel can't melt steel, much less burning carpet. Your government and media lied to you. So far, no presidential candidate has come out for investigating who was involved in the 9/11 controlled demolitions.

"I remember getting a call from the fire department commander, telling me that they were not sure they were gonna be able to contain the fire, and I said, 'We've had such terrible loss of life, maybe the smartest thing to do is pull it.' And they made that decision to pull and then we watched the building collapse." –Larry Silverstein World Trade Center leaseholder to Charlie Rose in a PBS interview.

Trump is a hit everywhere in America, not just in the South. Brother Field, you had better get on this train because it's about to leave the station. Don't be like some of your FN Negroes cause they are going to be left out on their own accord.

  6. Catching up on the 8/20/15 edition of FN blog a day late, there were instances in which it seemed the blog was hijacked by the Trump campaign. No mistaking one of our resident Anons is indeed a very "passionate" supporter of Donald Trump and in particular, The O'Reilly Factor.

Most gratifying about these message forums is the chance to absorb other perspectives. Yet a huge disservice occurs when healthy discourse is undermined by petty instigation.

For example, this week's exchange between Professor Cornell West and Bill O'Reilly is exactly what one would expect from two differing perspectives regarding Black Lives Matter movement or the state of African Americans in general.

    http://www.foxnews.com/on-air/oreilly/index.html#/v/4435820938001

I watched the segment that evening. And contrary to Anon extolling how Mr. O'Reilly trounced Professor West, uhhh, no.... That is not an accurate picture of what transpired; however, I do agree the segment was very enlightening with both men holding their own.

Not all conservative commentary is extreme. Although not always a chance to watch the evening talk shows, when doing so, The O'Reilly Factor can be a productive balance.

I've got big, white dicks on my mind. John Holmes, Ron Jeremy, Peter North, Rocco Siffredi, Big Dick Rambone ... (*shudders with delight*).

You're scared of the white man because he has a bigger dick than you. I can understand that. But you have to get over it. As long as you let your jealousy and resentment control you, you are a slave.

    1. LOL, Pilot :-) However, mind you... I said "Can Be" a productive balance. Very true how some of the segments appeal to the worse extremes of its viewership.

Yet there are times Mr. O'Reilly does get the big picture or will at least branch out of his comfort zone. Case in point was the interview with Professor Cornell West.

  16. If the schedule permits on Saturday, I will enjoy philly.com / talk radio personality and CNN host Michael Smerconish followed by MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry (MHP) Show.

This is the 2nd week MHP's show has guest hosts. Took me a while to recognize Janet Mock. Been having a hard time getting the name of the male guest host, though he is a little familiar. Might have to wait near end of show. Google has not been my friend so far. My mobile device is not cooperating on MSNBC website.

Ms. Janet Mock totally rocks!! Would be awesome for Ms. Rock to have national media presence hosting her own show.

Chris Christie looks like an angry doughboy.

After her unfortunate plastic surgery, Carly Fiorina looks like a creepy waxwork from Madame Toussauds.

And, last but not least, with his orange skin and weird hair, Donald Trump looks like an Oompa-Loompa from Willy Wonka.

    TheFieldNegro channels his inner extreme-rightwingnut.

To want teachers fired for failing to educate students is so against your party's agenda.

Considering 2 teacher unions are in the top 6 ALL TIME political donors, don't expect your party to speak out against their cash cow to improve the lives of children.

"To want teachers fired for failing to educate students is so against your party's agenda."

No it isn't. This is a simplistic talking point.

Teachers, as a whole, aren't demanding some kind of wholesale immunity from accountability. They just don't want to be scapegoated for things outside their control, like Republicans underfunding their schools, or the poverty their students are experiencing.

Demonizing teachers (a la Chris Christie) is a conservative scheme to justify the creation of privatized charter schools. This has the overall objective of a) creating lucrative investment opportunities for their Wall Street cronies, b) providing a distraction from the need to hike taxes on wealthy people to properly fund schools, and c) avoiding the need to actually address poverty.

Republicans want to create a whole new problem while failing to fix the existing ones. As is their usual habit.

Compton officials have been illegally inflating their pay, district attorney says
Compton’s mayor and council members have been illegally boosting their salaries for years by paying themselves for commission meetings that sometimes lasted only about a minute, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said.
    ...
Mayor Aja Brown was paid an additional $4,000 a month on top of her authorized salary of $600 a month and the four council members received $3,400 more a month, the district attorney said.

I hate to break it to you, Bill, but corruption isn't a partisan issue. I come from the state of Illinois, where two consecutive recent governors, one from each party, went to federal prison for playing fast and loose with their authority.

It's also not unique to the public sector. A multitude of Wall Street wizards financially raped this country for over decade and paid no meaningful price for it. (And given that lack of punishment, it is unlikely they have ceased their vile behavior. We can probably look forward to another banker-driven disaster within our lifetimes.)

People who are given power sometimes abuse that power. Nothing new under the sun.

Yo man fuck you! Strait Outta Comtpon was the best rap hop album of the 190's! The movie was even better! My favorite part was where Ice Cube had to put on blackface and do the minstrel dance for those J-wish record co. executives.
