News Day.

Tonight I am just going to point out some of my favorite news items from today.

First, how about this doozy?

Woman's husband thinks he has her killed, and then she appears at her own funeral to confront him.

Serves him right. And why didn't he demand proof from the people he ordered to make the hit of his partner's demise?

"Is it my eyes?” she recalled him saying. “Is it a ghost?”

Nope, no ghost. It's you spending the next nine years of your life in prison.

Then there is the Ted Cruz fraud story that just won't go away. It seems that the "born again" Canadian Christian has been up to some very unChristian like behavior.

"Ted Cruz has won the Iowa caucus, but he only did so after rampant accusations of cheating which have all been backed up by evidence – and now Cruz has apologized for a dirty trick that his campaign played on Ben Carson. The Cruz campaign sent emails instructing its supporters in Iowa to tell Carson’s supporters that Carson had already dropped out of the race, so they’d change their votes in favor of Cruz instead. And it’s far from the only documented instance of Ted Cruz cheating in Iowa."

Shame on you, Ted.

Sunday is the Super Bowl, and it's the "thug" versus America's golden boy for all the marbles.

But guess who is in the news for all the wrong reasons? Yep, the golden boy.

"Charlie Sly, responding to a report in The Washington Post that said Peyton Manning's lawyers sent investigators to his home before the release of an Al-Jazeera America documentary in December, says he didn't believe investigators were there to intimidate him into cooperation.

Speaking to Outside The Lines on Thursday night about the investigators, Sly said: "Those guys were great guys. Like, very good guys. Very professional."

Sly is the Indiana pharmacist at the center of the Al-Jazeera America documentary that aired Dec. 27. In it, the network reported that Manning's wife had received shipments of human growth hormone. Manning has denied the allegation, calling it "completely fabricated, complete trash, garbage." In the documentary, Sly -- caught on hidden camera -- named several professional athletes as possible dopers.

According to Brownsburg, Indiana, police, the two investigators went to the home of Sly's parents on Dec. 22 looking for him. Sly's sister, apparently alarmed, called 911 and said the men claimed to be law enforcement. Police responded, but the men provided identification and were invited into the family home. Sly was not there at the time. No arrests were made, and no incident report was filed.
Sly would not say when he spoke to the investigators.

Manning's lawyers launched the private probe shortly after Al-Jazeera America started contacting athletes who would be named in the documentary in December.

They hired investigators to identify, locate and interrogate Sly and sent a lawyer to examine the medical records of Manning and his wife, Ashley, at the Guyer Institute of Molecular Medicine in Indianapolis, according to Ari Fleischer, the former White House press secretary and current crisis-management consultant hired by the Denver Broncos quarterback." [Source]

"Crisis management consultant"?! OK then. Folks, choose your heroes carefully, remember what happened to another golden boy a few years back.

Speaking of illegal drugs, If you don't think that we still have a drug problem in America, consider this: Border patrol agents busted a shipment of $172 million dollars worth of cocaine today. That's a lot of yayo. Somebody is going to have some splaining to do.

Finally, we know that terrorist are evil people, but apparently they are pretty dumb as well.

"A wheelchair bound suicide bomber may have been responsible for the explosion which tore a hole in the side of a jet in Somalia, investigators have said.

They said the suspected terrorist, thought to be part of the Al-Shabaab Islamist group, may have faked a disability to bypass security checks at Mogadishu airport.

The suspected bomber is also thought to be the man who was sucked out of the plane after blowing a hole in the fuselage, shortly after the plane filled with more than 70 passengers took off from the Somali capital. The man who fell from the plane has been named by local officials as Abdullahi Abdisalam Borleh, 55, from Somaliland, but they did not confirm if he was the suicide bomber." [Source]

No words.

  1. But seriously, not really. If dude had watched the PBS show Powerhouse growing up he would have known that you never say anything incriminating at a funeral or wake because the person may not really be dead but pretending and have a tape recorder to tape your admission of guilt. Just like when the neo nazi set off a bomb at Powerhouse because he hated Jews and The Blacks and thought he killed Lolo. Check it out.

The funny part of the story of the Congolese woman whose husband took out a hit on her (yes, there's a funny part) is that he tried to apologize and get her to take him back. Didn't work.

And the local Congolese community in Australia were mad at her for not taking him back and calling the cops instead! WTF?

That reminds me of crazy married couple Frances and Tony Toto, from Allentown, PA. It's your home state, Field, so you may have heard of them, but if you haven't, the deal is that Frances repeatedly tried to have Tony killed, and Tony repeatedly reconciled with her. She tried to rub him out five times, unsuccessfully, and their marriage survived. Hollywood naturally found this amazing and made a movie about them, called "I Love You To Death."

I don't know whether the cheating by the Ted Cruz campaign was sanctioned by Ted Cruz himself. I will say that it is easy to believe he ordered the cheating, since Ted Cruz is a malignant narcissist, an unprincipled weasel. In fact, I make it a habit of referring to Cruz as "unprincipled weasel Ted Cruz." Because he is. The only thing in the entire universe that Ted Cruz cares about is Ted Cruz. The man makes my skin crawl.

I liked this comment from Charles Pierce:

For all the Scripture he spouts, and for all of his devotion to our God-kissed Constitution, Cruz has the soul of a true ratfucker. And, apparently, the mind of a man who has been assured of a golden throne since birth and is thus justified by his faith in himself and in his destiny to employ any means to gain his just reward. At least Nixon's ratfucking stemmed from his human weaknesses and his inbred paranoia. Cruz believes he is commanded to his by the Lord.

Ari Fleischer is yet another unprincipled weasel, which is why President Dubya kept him around to tell copious lies to reporters on his behalf. If Manning has hired Fleischer, that does not definitely prove Manning is a doper ... but it's not a particularly good sign.

  9. That was the Carson "campaign's F-up. I've read what was said. I haven't seen anything that reliably reports them telling anyone at the caucuses that he had or definitely would drop out. What they told caucusers was that Carson was REPORTEDLY going home to Florida instead of on to New Hampshire (absolutely true, he still hasn't been there) and that it APPEARED that he was suspending his "campaign" (I would call it a book tour / extended donor scam, and point out that it still appears that, except for sniveling about this incident (cry me a river about Un-Christian dirty tricks scumbag who a bushed a president at a prayer breakfast) that's exactly what he's done.)

I'm no fan of Ted Cruz, but come on, politics is a pugilistic sport, not tiddlywinks. A gangster MF like Carson who stabbed a man in the belt buckle & attacked his own mother with a hammer should really suck it up and move on. Assuming that he's finished his laundry and is ready to restart his "campaign."

Maybe because there is no actual evidence of vote-rigging in Iowa, just general disorganization of the electoral process. And the coin-flipping is also part of Iowa's shambolic, archaic caucus procedure, not something Hillary Clinton invented.

None of this is comparable to Ted Cruz (or at any rate, his campaign) deliberately knifing his competitor in the back.

Access to the White House is guarded well – it costs a billion dollars to run for president. And incalculable, favorable mass media exposure.

This works well – so well that the elites get lazy, handing off presidential power within dynasties – between fathers and sons, husbands and wives.

Statistically speaking, what are the odds that the two most qualified candidates to be president out of 300 million people are siblings? Or married?

Things are changing. People are noticing.

Bernie spends a bit on ads. Trump doesn’t bother.

It’s not just publishing – the Internet lets anyone donate little bits online. Bernie taps the crowd – over a million dollars a day from small donors! Again, Trump doesn’t bother. He just self-finances.

The mass media barrier is down. The money barrier is down.

A mob is pushing Bernie. Trump is pulling one behind him.

The elites are livid. They sneer at the masses – Uneducated. Socialist. Racist. Luddite.

Organs of the elite - The New York Times, Fox News, even small-time bloggers like Field - do their best to pump up their globalist candidates while trying to discredit outsiders, but their grip is slipping.

They may well get their Clinton/Rubio win-win scenario this time, but next time the people will be even angrier. This whole false edifice will fall eventually, sooner rather than later.

    Burn it down.

    Edgar Mitchell died yesterday.

I know. The name doesn't ring many bells.

Edgar was the 6th man to ever walk on the moon, forty-five years ago.

Forty-five years. It has been forty since the last time a human being (Harrison Schmitt) has set foot on any rock other than Earth.

Forty years in the past, the first world was the place where miracles of science coupled with indomitable spirit to do the impossible lifted the hopes and dreams of the human race.

Forty years ago, the apolitical scientific method for empirical studies of chemistry, physics & math based on actual data still trumped the politicized sciency-tific madness of psychology & climatology & math based on fabricated data.

Now we spend our resources chasing rainbows and unicorns, and man's sole mission to escape this rock Earth that will otherwise ultimately be our tombstone has been sacrificed to the gods of progressivism.

Because the First World is no longer interested in science, or the survival of the survival of its long-distant progeny.

It is only interested in its own temporal sense of worth, a value derived by how much one tribe can compel another to bow to the first tribe's god.

RIP, Edgar Mitchell. You were one of the very last of the very best of human endeavor.

In New York City in 2014, blacks committed 75% of shootings and 70% of robberies — as reported by the victims of and witnesses to those crimes — but represented only 23% of the population. In contrast, whites committed less than 2% of shootings and 4% of robberies in New York City in 2014, though they are 34% of the city’s population.

    Albany attack 'not clear-cut'
Community leaders comment on alleged racial assault
By Jordan Carleo-Evangelist Updated 11:28 pm, Friday, February 5, 2016

A handful of video recordings of the alleged racial assault on three black University at Albany students last weekend do not clearly show the women being attacked on a bus by a large group including white men, two community leaders who saw the recordings said Friday.

The videos also contain no audible racial slurs — though the audio quality is often "bad" and sometimes nonexistent, said Common Council President Carolyn McLaughlin and Alice Green, a longtime social justice activist in the city.

But Green and McLaughlin, both leaders in the city's African-American community, stopped short of questioning the women's account of the alleged Jan. 30 assault and cautioned that the recordings — at least five in number — depict a chaotic scene on a packed bus, making it difficult for anyone who wasn't there to say with certainty what happened.

"Nothing is clear-cut at all," said Green, the executive director of the Center for Law & Justice. "People have claimed there was a racial incident. It's kind of hard to tell from the video. ... It's just very confusing."

Confusing? That is not the words these "activists" would use if there was one ounce of evidence that this was a racial attack on three black women is it? There have already been protests against the accused white racists . Will those who jump to conclusions apologize? Will those women be punished if it is determined they lied? I hope so. This racism has got to stop.

A shred of good news for the Honduran city of San Pedro Sula: It had been named the world's most violent city four straight years by the Mexico Citizens Council for Public Security, but it moves to No. 2 behind Caracas in 2015. Latin America on the whole has little to celebrate, with 41 cities on the top-50 list, based on homicides per 100,000 residents. Brazil alone has 21 entrants, while the United States has four, with St. Louis ranking highest at 15th, followed by Baltimore (19), Detroit (28), and New Orleans (32). The four US cities have large black populations.

Murder rates across Latin America can't be blamed on White American racism, right?

So why is it a good idea to import millions and millions of people from the most murderous populations on Earth?

More reporting on alleged racial attack on three black women
    http://wnyt.com/article/stories/s4039978.shtml

It's hard to tell what's happening in grainy cell phone video obtained by NewsChannel 13. Three black female UAlbany students say they were beaten by a group of up to a dozen slur-yelling white people.
However, the people who saw the CDTA video can't tell.

“It was very confusing, very difficult to tell what was going on, but we haven’t heard, at least I haven’t heard, any racial slurs,” admitted Center for Law and Justice Executive Director Alice Green.

She and Albany Common Council President Carolyn McLaughlin were just two of those invited to the district attorney's office to view the half a dozen or more videos.

They say the 1 a.m. CDTA bus video is clear, but the bus is so crowded it's hard to tell what's happening in the only seconds long fight.

However, they saw no group of white people around the alleged victims.

When asked if she saw any men hitting women, she and McLaughlin both said it looked like the men were trying to pull people apart.

“I didn’t see, for instance, any white male attack anybody,” noted Green.
