The Electoral College plotters aren't going to get their wish. Still, in their undisciplined graping for power, they've obliterated a "norm" -- the Electoral College vote is no longer a formality, now and forever after the process has been "politicized".
Well, since PPP found that Trump voters A) can't distinguish propaganda from reality, and more importantly B) don't want Trump to release his tax returns, we can infer that they don't care what he did. So Trump will not face any pressure from the voters who elected him (and could conceivably re-elect him) to behave in an ethical or legal manner, leaving such oversight mechanisms as are in place in congress and the courts as the only methods by which he could be held to account for the growing pile of malfeasance he is perpetrating. Leaving anything important to congress is at best a weak strategy these days, so look for a lot of litigation about executive behavior in the near to mid future. I wonder if he will try to resolve his outstanding lawsuits before the new ones start rolling in, or if he still just doesn't care and believes he can keep prevailing via attrition and resource depletion? He probably can. Bush did. Remember the AT&T lawsuit? The one where they caught them red handed doing mass surveillance almost a decade before Snowdon? Where Anna Diggs Taylor ruled that the entire program was unconstitutional under the first and fourth amendments? That didn't seem to help very much, although the ruling itself is a thing of beauty "...the office of president is itself a creature of the constitution, so any power inherent in it necessarily flows from there..." So really, we're probably just well and truly fucked.
The MSM lied to us about everything, especially so when it came to Trump. Nothing they say matters anymore. "Journalism" is dead, killed by progressive lies.
Here's a funny one, Field. Three years ago I met a California dewd of Ukrainian descent, complete with Ukrainian mother and grandparents. Bro knows quite a bit of Russian, just a smattering of Russian.
Other side of my mental coin. About four years ago, I started getting interested in Tolstoy. I enjoyed the religious allegory a great deal. And I shared it with my wife and mother. But I particularly enjoyed a story about Sebastopol in the nineteenth century. Sebastopol was the great seaport on the southern shore of the Crimea. There was a great deal of commerce and business in Sebastopol, but much of it seemed to be driven by the ubiquity of Russian sailors. I met some Russian sailors for real on one of their ships in the port of San Diego. You don't forget meeting Russian sailors.
So when the Crimea thing started to break, I thought of my Tolstoy story. It seemed only natural that the dominant power, Russia, should dominate the Crimea, much like the U.S. dominates New York or California. So I took this thought to my friend, the Ukrainian-American. He told me interesting things that I would have never heard elsewhere. Putin has been vilified by American propaganda. Our media portrays him as silly, masculine or just plain crazy, if not evil. This is simply not the case. Something my friend says with a dead pan, even though he claims full Southern California liberal cred? He likes Putin. He believes that the Crimea should rightfully belong to Russia. (A statement that I find it hard to disagree with.) Plus, when goaded, he will confess to desiring the reunification of the USSR.
So, in light of all of this history, from let's say, last spring or late winter, I finally corner him and poke some fun at him about Trump. I point out that he agrees with much of what Trump says regarding the lifting of sanctions against Russia and suggest that this funny. "Funny to you guys!" On and on about American propaganda. I tell him that I am old-school. My Dad was scientific detente with Russian scientists from 1964 to 1990. I clarify that, "The Monster," I was referring to was Trump, not Putin. So I hit him with the punch line, "Make the Crimea Russian again," and he just laughs and there are no hard feelings!
I know folks around here are partisan and have their hang-ups and proclivities and suchlike for their partisan goals. But, Field, this goes beyond any level of cuckolding I've ever seen from you people. Do you have any pride or balls at all?
You're all literally making the argument that having someone tell us the TRUTH is some sort of espionage and treasonous move by hostile governments. You refuse to even think it through; you're obviously just taking your marching orders from the top down. You're all repeating the same gibberish.
Hillary, Podesta, etc, attempted to cover up their involvement overseas. They attempted to hide their involvement with crooked media. They laugh at and belittle minorities, using them as nothing but votes. And you people have an issue with the ones who exposed this?
Humans are the worst animals on earth! The worst! Lying, hypocritical, thieving, deceptive, deceitful, dirty, dishonest, careless, stupid, inhumane, asinine, cruel, filthy, pieces of crap!
Not all, just the ones that live in this subdivision! I hate it here! Hate!
Except for my family and myself, here live the most stupid filthy people I have EVER seen! But the worst part is they seem to think they are sooo very righteous! Sons of bitches!
We should put the sanctimony aside, tighten up our infrastructure and shut the fuck up. We were quite proud of ourselves when we wormed into Iran's centrifuges, up to the point where some dumbass spilled the beans and put the code out on the internet. We couldn't rig the Russian election because it is already rigged. That just goes to the fragility of democracy. Putin is on a mission to prove democracy a failed experiment and dictatorship the natural order. No better way to prove that point than if entrenched democracies were to drift towards dictatorship. To that end Putin no doubt was delighted to do his little part to deliver Trump and Brexit. No doubt more to come.
Fox News is a piece of shit corporate media outlet. Pointing at Fox, one single network, doesn't excuse the over half dozen shilling for the Democratic Party.
Huh. How did the Russians "hijack" the election? Were they driving homeless people and drug addicts to the polling places...giving them cigarettes? Allowing people with no ID to vote? Which lies did they tell about the Hildabeast?
Russian doen't need to prove Denocracy is a failure. Right wing nut jobs are doing a bang-up job all by themselves.
There isn't a crime in the universe a wingnut could commit that would spark a wingnut investigation. Planned Parenthood is being investigated because of edited right wing videos-again - with the purpose of having new racist AG sue them out of existence- Grassley and Sessions are co-conspirators here. The crime of treason-knowingly aiding Russia hacks to ensure Drumpf gets elected, is too minor to worry about. Same with dumbass dubya and dickless cheney's demonstrable war crimes.
Aww, thank you so much Field! Means a lot! I'm just kinda very upset about that dog situation, and I found out that those neighbors outright lied about the dog...and a couple other things. I'll be okay, I just don't like this neighborhood anymore :(...

Of course, the Obama DOJ under Holder and Lynch had their backs.
That's not just about to change, it's already changed. No case brought by the Lynch DOJ is going to get anywhere before Trump's new attorney general is sworn in. After January 20, these black mob assailants are going to find themselves on the wrong end of federal hate-crimes prosecutions.

Just for the record, I am completely against any undersea drones operated by the U.S. Department of Defense.
The pioneers in the field of using robotic, swimming devices for oceanic research are generally known as... get ready for this, scientists!!
The multi-national community of oceanographic researchers that I am familiar with, have agreed on one principle that may be common to all scientific disciplines today. Researchers today only have one chance to be the first. All relevant data and discovery is shared with other scientists across the earth with similar interests. This sharing of research data is without constraint. New data is made publicly available to any other researchers from qualified institutions around the globe. This policy is universally observed. There is no scientifically developed nation that is not on board with this. I do not personally know if Russia is contributing any useful information to oceanographic research, but it looks to me like they mostly care about exploitation.
This information and data is not available to the casual observer, such as the casual internet surfer. It is only available through the institutions of higher learning, aka universities of the world. For oceanography, the main player is the U.S. We have universities with underwater research programs in California, Massachusetts, Alaska and Hawaii. This comprises 90% or more of the important oceanographic research being done in the world today. Of course, we have agreements with other nations that are serious about research.
I am overjoyed that China has caught the U.S. in attempting to weaponize and create spyware in our oceans. Hopefully we can negotiate with China to abstain from such immoral activities. Maybe we can outlaw submarines? Hopefully that will be the end of it as far as weaponizing our waters and using our oceans for surveillance instead of working to preserve the beautiful resources of a healthy ocean. Thank the goddess for small blessings in an era of undreamed danger to the greatest republic that God ever ordained.

Thing is I feel quite used and taken by these people! They are in the directive of a committee that was formed a few months ago to attend to the needs of this subdivision. I really thought they were on the up and up!
They knew that this dog had severe emotional issues because I found out that one of these jokers lives three houses down from where the dog was kept chained, and knew all about him, but of course when he spoke to me, he didn't tell me that!!!
They lied to me to get the dog off their hands! Bunch of shifty, immoral jokers! and they present themselves as the most upstanding of citizens. give me a break! Those pieces of crap! I've lived in a lot of places, good and bad, but truly,I've never seen hypocritical, lying, thieving, shit like this! Oh, and then they present themselves as being very upstanding and respectable!
So now I have to have the dog taken to the shelter and I have to pay the fees.
But that's okay, they really had me fooled, but if there's a God up in the heavens they will pay for the stress I've gone through dealing with the poor dogs issues, which are plenty! Puertorican men double ugh!
Oh, and while I'm at it, among other shit they did, they also collected $100 each from neighbors that wanted a private mailbox here, and they had sorta started rehabbing the mailbox area, and that was a month ago, the boxes were supposed to have arrived two weeks ago,the area isn't finished, and no boxes, no word on the boxes.
The FB page for the community they had created, they shut it down last week! Can anybody say crooks too?
Drumpf's granny panties are all bunched up. China took one of our toys and didn't bother to notify Drumpf in advance on an unsecure phone.
Why Mr. unpresidential, unprecedented is not spelled unpreidented. How come you didn't know this before it happened. You are, like, a smart person, aren't you?
Their reward for success would be extermination by the less-brown hordes from south of the border, just as Hitler's Brownshirts were disposed of when they were no longer useful.
Black people are too stupid to understand what is in their own interest. Promoting race hatred toward the White people who are the only ones on earth who'll so much as tolerate them is not it.
"unprecedented is not spelled unpreidented." [sic]
The deliberate mis-spelling got millions of people to look at it. He's playing you idiots for chumps, just like he played the media for free publicity in the primaries.
The Electoral College plotters aren't going to get their wish. Still, in their undisciplined graping for power, they've obliterated a "norm" -- the Electoral College vote is no longer a formality, now and forever after the process has been "politicized".

Lord bring the fire lord!
Drumpf's granny panties are all bunched up. China took one of our toys and didn't bother to notify Drumpf in advance on an unsecure phone.
ReplyDeleteWhy Mr. unpresidential, unprecedented is not spelled unpreidented. How come you didn't know this before it happened. You are, like, a smart person, aren't you?
"Race warfare! Yahoo! Great idea! Let's just try to start killing each other like Bush tried to kill all of the jihadists!"
ReplyDeleteBlacks are already trying to kill Whites off. They've been exhorting each other to do it for years. It's just that they're (a) lousy at organized warfare, and (b) White people are waking up in large numbers.
"Great plan!"
