America has been giving blacks special help in school, preferential college admission, affirmative action hiring, and minority business subisdies for 50 years, and nothing has helped. Obama just continued with the same failed Civil Rights policies becasue he was too mediocre intellectualy and too ideologically blinded to do anything different.
John Lewis marched through the beautiful white-run southern city of Selma 50 years ago, and today it is a pile of ruins run by blacks. Rosa Parks moved to the front of the bus, and today you need to enclose bus drivers in bullet proof boxes. The Civil Rights movement has been a disaster of historic proportions for black and white people, yet somehow we still celebrate this destruction as if it was mankind's greatest achievement ever.
I think Trump can help, but this worship of Equality of Outcome and the Saintedness of Black People is too deeply ingrained for one man to overcome. That is going to take a movement and a revolution on the scale of the one that got us here.

IMO, all it takes is perspective. When people in America, no matter how "oppressed" they think they are, wake up and realize that they're bitching over first-world problems, we'll see some swift changes.

If Trump can do anything at all for the poor people in the impoverished inner city and white people in the equally impoverished rural coal country, it may be to provide jobs to fathers so they can have dignity in supporting their family.

Is Yeshing a doctor? After reading this blog for at least 4 years, in my opinion this woman is one the most, if not the most, bigoted and stupid commenters.
I worked with an very, very smart, black doctor from Nigeria decades ago. He was the most hated person in the office by colleagues, employees, and patients because of his insecurity and chip on his shoulder. Too bad he didn't realize how much we admired his knowledge and did not care he was black on bit. He lasted only two years before being "let go".
@Anon 6:21: No, Yisheng is not a doctor. She is a woman in her mid-50's who has been in college for close to 40 years. She used to go by the name "Dr. Queen" and constantly denigrate others from the position that she was a superior person because she was going to be a doctor.
But she never made it into med school. Now she claims to be working towards being a medical researcher, which would be a great achievement, but with her record something that is probably bullshit.
And even if she eventually did accomplish something, she would still be one of the most awful persons you would ever come across. Despite being supported decade after decade in her Quixotic quest for credentials, she despises this country and the working people whose taxes pay for her misguided dream. Oh, and she is a vile racist too. Think of a Michelle Obama whose husband never got elected President, with even less class and brains.
So very excited to be going to see Hidden Figures tomorrow with other women in STEM!! And I'll be sure to post a recap of the movie here for the reading pleasure of ALL my fans!!!
