It's open thread Wednesday field hands, and there is much to muse about.
For instance, just a day after his "profiles in courage" speech, Jeff Flake votes with the rest of his republican buddies to give banks and financial institutions power over consumers.
Mr. trump says that he is very smart and that he went to an Ivy League school. But if you have to keep reminding us how smart you are there might be a problem.
America is now going to be deploying lethal drones in the Motherland.
Bill O'Reilly blames god for all of his sexual harassment problems. God!
Some of the JFK assassination files will be released tomorrow. Will we learn anything new? I doubt it. No trumpbots, Ted Cruz's dad will not be implicated in the assassination plot.
Thoughts?
But if you have to keep reminding us how smart you are there might be a problem.
ReplyDelete------------------
You mean like a certain individual who claims to have gotten a 1530 on his SAT?
Wingnuts are blowing smoke up yer butt when they claim people that file individual suits against korporations like Well's Fart&Go can collect more money. Maybe if they can individually afford the attorneys it takes to sue a major korporation, plus all the legal shenanigans and hoops they will be forced to jump through.
ReplyDeleteWingnuts prevented class actions because that is what their korporate masters demanded from them. It took the KGB vice bogus potus to break a 50/50 tie to preserve the win for the 1%.
Working for the little guys. Riiiiight.
Nothing new on the JFK thing. Special Agent Hickey on the protection team put his finger on the booger switch and had the muzzle covering something you didn't want to destroy.
ReplyDelete"America is now going to be deploying lethal drones in the Motherland."
ReplyDeleteIt's your motherland. America is not your home. Your loyalties are not here. Time for you to go, by your own admission.

BAWAAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAAAAA!!!!!!!
Field makes over 100 posts on the Trump Russia story over the past year. When the news finally breaks revealing that it was actually the Democrats colluding with Russians he decides to have an Open Thread Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm...
I am for using drones in Africa. Shouldn't field hands been complaining that we weren't doing enough to help fight terrorist groups in Africa like Boko Haram? Actually, we have had a drone base under construction there, and I think we have been sharing surveillance intelligence with the governments there. We might not have used armed drones yet, but we should. I know there has been hesitancy about how many arms go to Africa because they could end up using the weapons to put down revolutions or whatever. Us using lethal drones sort of avoids that possibility. The basic policy of us opposing terrorists in Niger was in place in the Obama Administration. I am for killing terrorists. Supporting terrorists against Qaddafi and Assad is what I'm against.
ReplyDeleteDo you know why is Russia our enemy? Because they killed our CIA backed ISIS terrorists in Syria.
ReplyDeleteWell, first of all I would like to say that Trump is Obama's legacy.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, yishthing has unclaimed freight in her asses.
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteIt's a beautiful thing when your Black love looks EXACTLY like that shared by the greatest president in US history, President Barak Obama with his beautiful wife, Michelle!!!!!
ReplyDeleteRun on sentence genius...
ReplyDeleteI'm certainly not going to say Russia is our enemy in the Fusion GPS stuff. And I think "collusion" is opposition research regardless of which side did it. But I do want to know if the pee pee tape is real. I think we will be able to figure it out by what Trump does. So far I'd say two points that suggest it is real were him bombing Syria and increasing troops in Afghanistan. Two indications that it isn't real were him ending the CIA support of ISIS in Syria, and if he does release the JFK files without a lot of redactions, that would be another indication the CIA doesn't have him blackmailed.
ReplyDeleteI wonder about the Trump dossier that the Clinton Foundation financed to the tune of 6 million dollar. Is it true? I guess "at this point, what difference does it make".
ReplyDeleteHey, I almost forgot, the rot of Clinton and Obama is starting to surface. Uranium One, check it out homeys.
Trump should demand Russia sell us our uranium back, and make the Clinton Foundation pay for it.
ReplyDeleteWhat 99% of the past year's craziness boils down to is liberals at every level of society REFUSING to wrap up their election-night tantrum.
ReplyDeleteNow is the time Field. Let it go.
Republicans circle the wagons to protect the criminal activities of Wells Fargo.
ReplyDeleteShould we really be surprised?
The truth is Wells Fargo has actively preyed upon their customers for decades. It's only recently that it became blatantly and undeniably criminal.
So, of course republicans under Trump support protecting the big, oppressive bank and jam their middle fingers into the faces of the victims. That's what republicans do. That's what they do under Trump.
So Billdo is blaming god? Convenient, no? And right in the story line:

ReplyDeleteNews: The POTUS base doesn't care that he is delaying Russian sanctions.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: Now what does that tell us?
Answer: That Russia has succeeded in taking over America.
Question: Why does this not upset, worry or concern the POTUS's base?
Answer: Because the " Make America Great Again" was the perfect racial diversion tactic to use...
and, Putin's face is white.
ReplyDeleteSome of those same white folks who are now ostracizing Bill O'Reilly are the same ones that voted someone just like him to be their POTUS.
So, Bill O'Reilly's behavior is deplorable, but the POTUS's behavior is not?
...Yup, the racial diversion tactic works every time.
Makes one wonder what else Bill has done to women AND children.
ReplyDeleteHis own children didn't even want to live with him, and he beat his ex wife.
White House refuses to put the Russian sanctions into affect...

Just read an article written in 2015 by an expat living in Norway. Its subject is foreigners' puzzlements about American voters and our goofball policies. Article is called "Is the U.S. Crazy?"
ReplyDeletehttps://bigmart73.wordpress.com/2015/01/14/is-the-u-s-crazy/
Written in 2015, at a time when Europeans were not persuaded to let us off the hook by Obama's election but were still dumbstruck that we had re-elected George W. Bush. The writer has to deal with basic questions on a daily basis:
* Why would anyone oppose national health care?
* Why can’t you Americans stop interfering with women’s health care?
* Why can’t you understand science?
* How can you still be so blind to the reality of climate change?
* How can you speak of the rule of law when your presidents break international laws to make war whenever they want?
* How can you hand over the power to blow up the planet to one lone, ordinary man?
* How can you throw away the Geneva Conventions and your principles to advocate torture?
* Why do you Americans like guns so much? Why do you kill each other at such a rate?
Had the article been written today, after Ferguson and Trump and Charlottesville, I'm sure a slew of new questions would arise. I'm not eager to travel much these days.
We've been using armed drones against terrorists for a while in Africa already. Al-Shebaab, the guys who blew up 300+ people recently in Somalia? We've been droning the hell out of them for several years.
ReplyDeleteUnless for some reason we're not counting Somalia as being part of Africa, this is nothing new.
"So Billdo is blaming god? Convenient, no? And right in the story line:
ReplyDelete'I didn't bugger those altar boys, it must have been god.'
'No Joseph, I'm still a virgin, it must have been god.'
And how does Bildo know it was god?"
"God" is Bill O'Reilly's name for his penis. God made him do it. Mystery explained.
"Some of those same white folks who are now ostracizing Bill O'Reilly are the same ones that voted someone just like him to be their POTUS."
ReplyDeleteNo they aren't. Bill's scummy viewers don't care that he tried to extort sex out of female Fox staffers, any more than they care that Trump assaults women. If it were up to them, he'd still be working. The only thing important to Bill's fans was that he kept telling them what they wanted to hear: that black people are stupid and lazy and criminal and not deserving of fair treatment in this country.
Bill was fired for business reasons. First, because his pervy misdeeds were driving advertisers away from Fox. Second, because Fox's owners want to buy a satellite TV network in the U.K., and the prospects of British regulators allowing the deal to go through were slim with Fox having a proven sexual predator on staff.
If you cost your employer enough money, it doesn't matter how much your fans love you; eventually, you're gonna get canned.
America's newest political hero- Rep Frederika Wilson has been staying home because of death threats from proving Drumpfuck is a fucking liar.
ReplyDeleteThe minute amount of uranium Russia purchased is not going anywhere. And knowing how he loves Russia and hates America, he prolly will. And then the koyote kerfluffle of stoopid fucking wingnuts will all blame HRC and they will live happily never after.
Stoopid fucking wingnuts!

ReplyDelete* Why would anyone oppose national health care?
ReplyDeleteIt sucks. Any limited resource must be rationed. These decisions will be made by the same government that enforces Affirmative Action inn school admissions and employment.
* Why can’t you Americans stop interfering with women’s health care?
American women have the most access to healthcare of any group in the planet's history.
* Why can’t you understand science?
Says a Eurofag to the country who went to the moon and invented the internet.
* How can you still be so blind to the reality of climate change?
Climate is always changing, it's not an excuse to impose tyrrany.
* How can you speak of the rule of law when your presidents break international laws to make war whenever they want?
There really is no such thing as "international law", as there is no ability to enforce it.
* How can you hand over the power to blow up the planet to one lone, ordinary man?
We don't. In reality, any such decision would only come after the involvement of a large number of senior people.
* How can you throw away the Geneva Conventions and your principles to advocate torture?
We do not advocate torture; interrogation for a legitimate purpose is not "torture".
* Why do you Americans like guns so much? Why do you kill each other at such a rate?
We have guns because we are free men. Our murder problem is a black problem. Blacks kill each other at similar rates all over the world. Our white population has a murder rate in line with other white countries.
Norwegians, as all Europeans, have a very controlled view of the world. The have no rights of free speech or freedom of the press. Most of their media is state run, and the rest is heavily regulated. They hear what their rulers allow them here, and consequently are deeply uninformed when it comes to politics.

- That's because some degrees depend mainly on memorization, not information analysis and integration. Also, "schooling" and "education" are different - one can memorize one's ABCs, learn arithmetic, and other basics taught in school, and never become *educated* in terms of being able to discern the meanings of things. The "well-schooled buy poorly-educated" are the ones who are unable to comprehend the differences between being book-smart ((mainly, able to memorize)) and intelligence ((analyzing, integrating, and comprehending the significance of information)), and are the ones who seem to believe that using the schoolyard taunts they pick up from their neighbor's 8 year old kid are going to reduce people like combat veterans to tears, bleh =:-p

- I agree with you there. War and killing should be the last resort, but when it becomes clear that we're dealing with a bunch of people who cannot be reasoned with, and who continually just come up with different excuses to continue murdering and torturing people, it gets to the point of basically putting down a rabid dog.
- But we have to make very sure that it's the crazyassed butchers who are targetted, and not all people who follow the religion that the butchers *CLAIM* to follow. Boko Haram and ISIS/ISIL are to Islam what the IRA was to Catholicism - meaning, no relationship because homocidal maniacs kill because they're homocidal maniacs, and only spout off about "religion" to try to get gullible people to believe it's a "justification" for butchery.
-
- Then too, there is this problem:

"We've been using armed drones against terrorists for a while in Africa already. Al-Shebaab, the guys who blew up 300+ people recently in Somalia? We've been droning the hell out of them for several years."
-
- The problem is that "death from the skies" doesn't seem to do much of anything. Germany bombed England, and mainly just pissed off the British and the US. The US bombed the snot out of North Vietnam, and look who got driven out. The US also bombed the snot out of places where rumors claimed Bib Laden was hiding, to no effect. I don't want to write ((and nobody wants to read...)) a dissertation, but it seems to me that, in the vast majority of cases where one country or group bombs the snot out of another, it mostly ends up just pissing people off, and ends up exacerbating the problem.
-
- There's never One Single Answer to these things, and when the US forgets that, we *always* end up in more proverbial hot water than we were to begin with...

ReplyDelete- I remember when JFK was assassinated. I was home sick from kindergarten, and my sisters ((older than I)) were sent home early. I was so upset that I could even be in front of anyone else, so I made a little ball of myself behind a chair and couldn't even reply when they were calling me. I still remember the color and texture and smell of the chair, the feel of floor, the pattern on the wall behind me.

"Federal Election Commission records show that the Clinton campaign paid the Perkins Coie law firm $5.6 million in legal fees from June 2015 to December 2016, according to campaign finance records, and the DNC paid the firm $3.6 million in “legal and compliance consulting’’ since November 2015. Some of those total fees were apparently paid to Fusion GPS," The Post reported.
ReplyDeleteClinton Foundation was not involved in paying for the dossier. The dossier did not cost 6 million bucks. And much of what is in it is true. It is totally likely HRC knew nothing of the dossier payments.Nothing in them so far exoneraes Drumpfuck, like he claims.

ReplyDeletePssst, trumpbots, if it looks like an orange, it really is an orange.
ReplyDelete>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Or a PEEOTUS!😜
The fake news is the demonetization of Russia. The bribery involved in the Uranium One deal is worse than the deal itself. Bill Clinton was paid more for his Moscow speeches than Flynn was. Was it Khrushchev who said, you'll sell us the rope to hang you with. But on the Field Negro blog, Russia hacked the DNC with download speeds to fast for the internet. Debbie Wasserman Schultz is the head of the DNC and Donna Brazille is still at CNN. It's too bad Guam was blown up.
ReplyDeleteStart using your heads. Russia never gave anything to Wikileaks. The real reason why Russia is our "enemy" is because they fought ISIS in Syria and we wanted to overthrow Assad. Both parties are bad. Trump is a racist who says some stupid things. Hillary is a corrupt war monger. If the RNC was as corrupt as the DNC Jeb Bush would have been their nominee. Obama wouldn't have released the JFK files. He wouldn't even release the redacted 9/11 Commission Report 28 pages. Congress released them with a veto proof majority. And they only did it because they were put on the spot. Obama was better on Iran. He got Assad to give up his chemical weapons without firing a shot and he did cut his aid to ISIS after Trump won. He never instituted Hillary's no fly zone escalation. But Obama financed ISIS and Trump ended Obama's covert CIA program. People who think one side can do no wrong and the other is always wrong are in a fantasy misinformation bubble.
You know, when I was a youngster, I would ride my bike up to the local zoo.
ReplyDeleteI would take my fishing rod, and hang out at the pavilion they had on their little "lake". I would file the barbs off of the hooks. I wasn't there to catch anything to take home.
Now...all the ducks knew me, and would crowd themselves under the shade of the pavilion, and quack like crazy. The Ranger used to think it was crazy.
I'd hook a little bream, reel it up, and sling it over my shoulder to the waiting ducks. Because there was no barb on the hook, it would just fly that way.
Those ducks would fight over and over to see which one got that fish.
I was dreaming about this earlier. I'm sure it sounds stupid to you, but, it reminds me of the world today.

FAKE NEWS....TOTAL BULLSHIT
100% true, Anymoose. Suck it. Even more, the uranium deal occurred in 2010. It was a closed investigation until Schweiger's discredited book brought it to Drumpfuck and fake noize's attention.
ReplyDeleteWingnuts funded the Fusion investigation until it started looking at Drumpfuck's ties to Russia motherland. Wingnuts dropped it, a Dem lawyer picked up the funding w/o HRCs knowledge and then when the Steele Dossier became known, Dems stopped funding and the FBI took over because there were many verifiable parts of the dossier, The Clinton Foundation had no part in the funding. Mark Elias and his law firm along with the Clinton Campaign paid. There was no reason to notify HRC regardless of how bad you want it to be true.
That Clinton was unaware of the Trump dossier was first reported by The New York Times.
ReplyDeleteLaw firm Perkins Coie, which represented both the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee, and Clinton campaign lawyer Marc E. Elias confirmed Wednesday it had retained the firm Fusion GPS in April 2016 to "perform a variety of research services."
I think that the fact that much of the dossier has still not been confirmed is why Elias did not notify Hillary about what it contained.
And if he HAD informed her there is no way that such a careful candidate would have allowed it do be used in campaign ads or mentioned by her surrogates.
What’s more, the Steele dossier itself has been deemed credible at the highest levels of the US intelligence community, to the point where both Presidents Obama and Trump were briefed on it before its existence was made public. Independent intelligence experts have pointed out that many of its claims — though not the pee tape — have been confirmed by subsequent investigations.
