Coming out of the woodwork.

TWEET MEAs the president of the United States continues to wage war against the black and poor people in his country, we are starting to hear some first hand accounts about some of his other racist supporters as well.

"2017 seems to be the year that racists have stopped pretending they aren't racist. What we used to call dog-whistle signaling in more civilized times has given way to people from all walks of life coming out of the closet, so to speak — from President Donald Trump's obtuse attacks on Mexicans and Muslims (among others), to the case of literal Neo-Nazis letting their freak flags fly in Charlottesville, and now in the debate of athletes kneeling in protest of police brutality during the national anthem.

If you find yourself surprised daily at how low we will go, know that you are not alone. Dan Gilbert says he's rattled by the number of "vile, disgusting, racist" voicemails he received after his Cleveland Cavaliers player LeBron James called President Donald Trump a "bum" on Twitter.

Gilbert made the comments on CNBC's "Squawk Box":
"Look, you've got rhetoric on both sides. You know, emotions on both sides of this thing ... To me, it's about allowing people to talk and getting together ... look, some of the issues — forget the methods of protest — but there are some legitimate issues, real legitimate things that have been in America for a long time ... I received voicemails after LeBron tweeted that that were some of the most vile, disgusting, racist ... there's an element of racism that I didn't even know existed in this country. When I got those voicemails, I saved them."
He also added:
"I didn't even tell LeBron this. Now he's gonna know. The thing is, I mean, some of the most disgusting things I've ever heard people say. And you could hear it in their voice ... the racism. It wasn't even really about the issue, and that's what really got me, because they went to who they really are, some of them."
Gilbert's Quicken Loans donated $750,000 to Trumps's inauguration party. In June, Trump called Gilbert a "great friend" and "huge supporter" during a visit to the White House. Previously, Gilbert has also donated to Trump's GOP rival Chris Christie, as well as $75,000 to a Democratic fundraiser to Hilary Clinton and other candidates.

Our major question is:Who are all of these racists who have Gilbert's phone number?" [Source]

Finally, we now know that the attorney general of the United States perjured himself, and that the president lied about knowing about a meeting with a former campaign adviser and felon  (I thought he had the greatest memory of all time.)

I hope that  we are  ready to get serious about this Russian investigation and trump's Russia problem.

"2017 seems to be the year that racists have stopped pretending they aren't racist."

2017 is the year that the magic wore off the word "racist".

You went way too far. You overused it. You called everybody racist. You kept re-defining racist until it meant "white".

We've had it. Fifty years of bending over backwards to make black people happy, and now just wanting to exist means we are racist.

    It's a new day, people.

    It's ok to be white.

Sure, and it's ok to be Black too. Glad we can agree on some things brother.

trump is living proof that voters need to rethink the whole "outsider" thing. Just look at the appointments he's made, not one person has been qualified. He wanted to appoint a radio talkshow host as the head of the USDA with no relevant experience. Just unacceptable. Worst president ever.

His Secretary of State is not selling US policy decisions for donations to his private foundation.

His IRS commissioner isn't auditing and harassing his political opponents.

His Attorney General isn't shaking down banks and funneling the money to activist groups.

His NASA chief's primary mission for the department is not to make Muslims feel better about their contributions to science.

I'd say President Trump has done a lot better with his appointments than the last guy.

And I expected tonight's blog to be about Donna Bazile. The back stabbing has started and Elizabeth Warren has jumped in. Brazile is a liar, but maybe the DNC did sign over control of their finances to Hillary. If Trump had controlled the RNC and rigged the GOP primaries, I'm sure that would be the topic tonight. Getting real about the Russia investigation requires admitting that Russia never gave anything to Wikileaks. Maybe Hillary paid Russians to create the pee pee dossier. Maybe the pee pee tape is real. Maybe there was a lot of bribery in the Uranium One deal. But the "Russia hack" lie has been debunked.

Crowdstrike faked the hack. It was way too sloppy to have been done by the CIA. You should at least know the FBI never saw the server by now. The "Russia  hack" determination came from the Crowdstrike company hired by the DNC. If you read the assessment of the 17 agencies (well..., hand picked individuals from 3 agencies), you'll see that it was a "guess" that left themselves plenty of room to wiggle out of. And the agency that would know if there had been a remote hack only had "moderate confidence".

  7. "I'd say President Trump has done a lot better with his appointments than the last guy."

    You probably would say that.

Thing is, Fergus being entirely ignorant of the way the United States government functions isn't subject to the opinions you have picked up from right wing propaganda.

Some of it can be measured. Like the way he doesn't know to, or can't, shut the fuck up about the outcome of cases in Federal Court or the military while they are ongoing or still subject to appeal.

Such publicly expressed opinions from the president of the United States have the opposite effect on the actual outcome of the case when he tweets about how harshly the defendant should be dealt with.

Like how Bowe Bergdahl didn't get any jail time, and has a chance of winning his appeal because Fergus ran his mouth repeatedly before and after inauguration that he should be executed, which caused them to state that he had received prejudicial treatment and should be sentenced more leniently.

That one is already on the books, but then there's the Manhattan Truck asswipe who he has also extensively blabbered about, saying that he should get the all-caps DEATH PENALTY.

Any capital crime attorney worth their salt at this point, because of that, can keep him from being executed.

    Fergus is incompetent.

  9. trump's Secretary of State was awarded Russia's highest honor and was working on an oil deal with Putin.
Barack's IRS Commissioner is still the head of the IRS so it seems trump doesn't have a probelm with him.
His Attorney General was deemed too racist to be a federal judge and is hated by his own boss.
His head of NASA isn't a scientist and doesn't have a background in space.
    Not even a close comparison.

Barack nominated a PhD in Nuclear physics to head the Dept. of Energy. trump nominated a guy who couldn't even remember the name of the department and has a B.S. in animal husbandry.
Barack nominated a woman with an advanced degree in environmental science to head the EPA while trump nominated a lawyer who sued the EPA several times and has no background in environmental science.
    See a pattern?
trump's son-in-law was put in charge of foreign trade, the western Asian peace process and ending the opioid epidemic with no background in anything but being a crappy real estate manager in his dad's company. The comparison isn't even close.

  14. First-hand accounts:

Like poop swastikas, KKK on campus, noose bananas, swastikas on churches, etc?

Folks are so reliable with their first-hand accounts.

Most are either lying their asses off or fabricating scenes.

"Our major question is: Who are all of these racists who have Gilbert's phone number?"

Another major question: Where are these voicemails? I'm far from a billionaire; I'm a middle-class working stiff with a pre-paid phone, not a fancy smartphone. And I can easily plug in a micro-USB and transfer voicemails to a file.

    Why:
    1) Do 99% of these reports always act like ghost-hunting? E.G. the camera is never there to catch it, but only people to say they saw/heard it?
    2) Does nearly every incident with evidence turn out to be some leftist fabricating the scene?

I mean, even if we have a recording, how do we know Johnny Hipster isn't false-flagging by calling the line himself in order to "prove" or "shine a light on" the "racism" in America, like we hear 2,000 times a fucking year?

It's just your own logic. Because of America's past, we're to assume a thing is racism. Well, what's most prevalent in America's immediate past, far and away, are hordes of racist hoaxes. So why can't we assume it's bullshit until proven otherwise?

It's almost like there'a an advantage to people crying racism.

    Hmm...

    ReplyDelete
  16. So, Mike, it's invalid of me to ask for evidence? A billionaire whose phone is probably top of the line makes a claim, and, as far as I can tell, backs it up with nothing but bare assertion. Yet I'm not allowed to ask for evidence?

When the fuck did "racism" become a fucking religion? And when the fuck did it become revolutionary to require evidence of a claim?

    Y'all aren't even modern religions, ffs. You're old-school witch-burning religions.

    "You're a witch!"
    "No, I'm not!"
"That's what a witch would say! Kill it with fire!"

I'm not saying it didn't happen. I'm merely asking for evidence of it having happened. WTF is wrong with you people that you DON'T require that? I've followed over a dozen links from this shit, and I can find literally nothing except Gilbert saying he received them.

Betty Lou from Oklahoma also said that aliens abducted her and performed experiments on her. Roger from Iowa says he was Henry VIII in a past life. By your standards--which you wear so proudly that you're insulting me for simply requiring evidence--"Listen and believe" is how we must operate.

Or it is only for your sacred cows?

A billionaire businessman, owner of a professional sports franchise, with assistants out the ass and the latest in modern tech, can't put at least ONE of these voicemails up front to lend credence to his claims?

That which can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence.

Sorry, bro; it's just how life works in the real world. It's not how life works in the SJW bubble, obviously.

I don't know scientifically whether that's true but it'll do for a metaphor.

Any 74-year-old American like me knows how much more inclusive we've become over the years, how black citizens are now routinely part of every profession, contribute to the greater culture in every venue from astrophysics to pop entertainment to business to high art by force of talent, brilliance, ingenuity and you-name-it. And we all benefit by diversity of points of view. Not that we're 100% there, and certainly not there where women are concerned. But huge strides over the 50s, which I remember well.

I'm from a "sundown town," and all-white enclave in California which had a tacit racial code. No one talked about race because there was general agreement on the subject. We can be grateful for the yelling, screaming racist now, because they know their relevance is severely limited. They are relics.

This won't help if you're shot for a missing tail light, I know. But this blight is enduring its last hurrah with Trump. It was one thing to insist on the inferiority of a people who were enchained, kept forceably ignorant, propertyless and powerless. It's quite another when the whole culture is broadcasting equality of achievement on every front. Racists will go the way of flat-earthers. It's inevitable.

Meanwhile we need people like Field to help fumigate, I know. May speed up the process.

  30. Why the shuttle program died- Too fucking expensive and it is much cheaper to pay Cossacks to launch since they control Drumpfuck.

The bottom line answer is that it was too expensive. Way too expensive. The shuttle never met its promise for low cost access to space by virtue of the system’s reusability. Had the system even gotten part of the way to those original claims of a very low recurring cost of launch, I bet that the shuttles would still be flying today, and we’d be building a few more of them with upgrades to improve their reliability and lower the cost further.

People can oppose racism without supporting McCarthyism you know. The underlying reason for drumming up animosity towards Russia is that they fought ISIS and we supported them. That support has been proven. Ignore the Democrats' corruption and the racists will win. I'd rather have a racist than someone who kills innocent people for Israel, Saudi Arabia, and cheaper oil for NATO countries. A lot of people stay home or vote for Jill Stein types. They don't like rigged primaries. As long as corporate neo con Democrats cheat to block out true progressives for peace, you've lost enough votes to keep losing elections. The average voter probably does think that Russia hacked the election, but the information is all true. And they see you aren't doing anything about the corruption.

    What utter nonsense.

There is zero religion in public education, from kindergarten through doctorate programs.

Government funding for science and education has never been higher.

Where funding has been cut is for grand initiatives like the space program, and that has been done for liberal priorities like social welfare programs.

Affirmative action has had an effect on the competence of our institutions. Spots that would have gone to qualified white males instead went to others. A nearly 100% male space program went to the moon using slide rules. A 60% female NASA with supercomputers can't get a man to the space station.

American excellence eroded when we decided equality was more important.

There could have a been a way to bring everyone to the table, to give blacks the respect they deserved, without destroying white American civilization out of spite. But we chose to burn it down. We have only seen the beginning of the suffering in store for all of us.

"I thought Hillary's health issue was fake news?"

    It was.

And I hadn't heard this except from Ms. Brazile's book. She appears to have lost her damn mind.

I mean, this idea makes no sense, even by her own logic. The Clinton campaign owned the DNC, but somehow Donna was going to "replace" Hillary Clinton? How does that work? Hillary would have "replaced" Donna with someone with fewer delusions of grandeur.

In any event, even if it had not been in the dire financial straits Donna describes, the DNC never has the power to swap out an elected presidential candidate for one more to its liking. The candidate would have to step down voluntarily.

As one of her party’s most prominent black strategists, Brazile also recounts fiery disagreements with Clinton’s staffers — including a conference call in which she told three senior campaign officials, Charlie Baker, Marlon Marshall and Dennis Cheng, that she was being treated like a slave.

“I’m not Patsey the slave,” Brazile recalls telling them, a reference to the character played by Lupita Nyong’o in the film, “12 Years a Slave.” “Y’all keep whipping me and whipping me and you never give me any money or any way to do my damn job. I am not going to be your whipping girl!”

    - But that doesn't answer the question I asked. Also, I asked about the housing point, not jobs.
    - In both cases, we know that the people who would benefit are neither average Americans, nor small businesses (and certainly not home-based micro-businesses). Corporatists, including those in Congress, wouldn't care whether these things happen because somewhere along the line, they'd be the ones making money off of it.
    - But my question remains. It seems like such incidents could be a gold-mine of Class Action suits for lawyers.
    - So I'm still wondering: Where are the lawsuits...?

"But that doesn't answer the question I asked. Also, I asked about the housing point, not jobs."

You weren't specific.  On housing, try American Murder Mystery.  The rights of criminal Section Ape recipients are deemed to trump the rights of the people who have to deal with them and are ultimately paying for them.  Going back over points you still don't get:

"If those things are happening, why isn't the corporate-owned media reporting it?"

You stated it yourself:  "corporate-owned media".  The same corporations which benefit from the disemployment and dispossession of Americans by cheaper foreigners.

"And why aren't the Republican politicians preventing it, or prosecuting it?"

Because the corporate interests own most of them.  There's a reason one prominent pol with an R by his name is known as Lindsey Grahamnesty.

"Anti-racism and social justice are not "religions""

They have their dogmas.  They have their holy objects (mostly Black people, who are venerated even when they are criminals like Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin).  At the very least it's a cult.  A very, VERY widespread cult.

"IF what you described is being done, why aren't lawyers raising hell about it, since it'd be a huge boon for the legal profession?"

Because Federal judges willi crush them, just like they crushed Arizona's attempt to get Federal immigration law enforced inside its own borders and a single judge in Hawaii keeps trying to overrule Trump on immigration efforts without citing even one point of the law he's supposedly upholding.

"It seems like such incidents could be a gold-mine of Class Action suits for lawyers.
So I'm still wondering: Where are the lawsuits...?"

I'm hoping we'll see them, and the impeachment and removal of judges who won't follow the law.  Starting with practically every Federal judge in the 9th Circus.

Can't do class action lawsuits, either. "Immigration is the sole province of the Federal Government, Baldingo."

Immigration law is.  Immigration enforcement falls to a host of agencies both federal and state.  All Arizona was asking was for the laws on the books to be enforced as written.  The krytarchs sided with Zero, who decided to ignore those laws.

"I thought you were supposed to be smart."

Let me show you the precedent that was established with your full support:  if the executive wants to create a policy directly contrary to law, it has the power to do so.  So, for instance, if Trump decided that a series of infamous crimes stemming from "fair housing" putting criminals among peaceful people required action, he could force removal of criminals, refusegees, and others from certain areas and deny housing assistance to such people or anyone who allows them to stay with them.

Imagine Black people on a Section 8 voucher having to move back to the 'hood because one of their kids turned feral.  Do you know how many millions of votes such an action would get?

Trump could take the opposite of Zero's hypersensitive approach to "equal rights" and just ignore those laws.  He could gut the EEOC or establish such a high bar for starting investigations that it would do nothing for the rest of his term.  He could refuse the authority of the US government to start investigations into shootings of Blacks if they've done ANYTHING wrong, or he could START such investigations into the actions of police agencies and prosecutors if they go persecutorial as they did with George Zimmerman and Michael Slager.

Imagine Rahm Emmanuel coming under DOJ CRD investigation for the persecution of the officer who shot Laquan MacDonald, and insisting that he be re-hired with back pay and seniority.

Still feeling good about the precedent you cheered when Zero set it, Mikey-boy?
