Mr. trump said the quiet part out loud yesterday, as he declared that he will not go peacefully into the night if he loses the upcoming election. That's a scary thought, and one that most Americans could never have imagined having when they put an egomaniacal sociopath from Long Island in charge of the country.
But here we are, and the chaos just seems to be intensifying with each passing day. I honestly think that if trump loses (and that's a big if, because as terrible as this presidency has been, there is a certain segment of the American electorate who believe that having a white nationalist in charge is still comforting) he will have his cult members take to the streets and set his lawyers loose on the judicial system to plead to all of those extreme right wing leaning Judges who owe him their appointments. America had better hope that this election will be a landslide one way or the other, because if it's close it won't be pretty.
It's amazing, though, to see Mr. trump leading in some swing states and staying within striking distance in the national polls. Not surprisingly if you look at most of these polls you will see that Mr. trump is leading among white voters, which is not surprising to us black folks out here. We know the deal.
Finally, speaking of black folks, I saw the following article recently and I found it interesting. Why? Because I am always trying to bring the races together.
"George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police in May gave way to a long-overdue national reckoning on race.
The protests that followed sparked change, but we still have a very long way to go — as evidenced, in part, by the recent police shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The last several months have been particularly draining for Black folks in this country, between the racial upheaval, a pandemic that affects them disproportionately and an upcoming presidential election with so much at stake for their communities.
It’s imperative that we continue the conversation about race on both a national and personal level — even when it’s not dominating the news cycle. Those who want to be allies must keep listening, learning and taking action that supports the Black community.
To that end, we asked Black people to reveal what they wish the white people in their lives knew and understood. Here’s what they said.
Responses have been lightly edited and condensed for clarity and length.
1. I notice your silence about the acts of racism and other injustices in the news.
“There are a lot of issues that sometimes only affect or disproportionally affect a community. That should not be an exoneration from caring or paying attention. When you are silent, I often feel like I have no choice but to question: Where do you stand? Do you care about what’s happening?
This doesn’t mean you have to start talking politics and social justice 24/7 — I still enjoy seeing puppy pics and newborn photos on my timeline! But we can’t ignore what’s happening, and it is unacceptable to stay neutral. If days, months, years go by and you never discuss these issues or engage with anything I say in person or online, that sends a clear message. It’s difficult to believe that you care.” — Candace Howze, writer and multimedia artist
2. And it hurts when you speak out but then suddenly go quiet on these issues, too.
“When we see your enthusiasm for justice wane after just a few weeks of another murder or police brutality against us, it’s a psychological struggle for us at times to stay positive about the friendship. Maybe you no longer know what to say or do, maybe you don’t want to keep bringing it up out of fear of making us relive painful moments. But the truth is, those thoughts are running through our minds, regardless, at some point throughout most days.
If you never bring it up again, it leaves us questioning how real we can be around you. How open, honest, and raw can we be? The silence or quieting of your voices make us turn the focus from the real issues to centering our thoughts around you and the realness of the friendship. It makes us wonder how much you understand — or want to understand — systemic racism, and if we can trust you to have our back in covert racist situations. When you go quiet, it’s painful.” ― Michelle Saahene, co-founder of From Privilege to Progress
3. Being Black in this country can be exhausting.
“As a Black person, I have to conform to societal standards to exist in this country. I have to create a caricature palatable enough to comfort white people in white spaces so that I’ll make it home to see my family. I can’t afford to be anything other than what society demands me to be. If I ever become a hashtag, my family will know it wasn’t because I didn’t comply.” — Brittany Neighbors
4. Don’t expect me to educate you on racism.
“As a Black man in a predominately white industry, neighborhood and social circle, I do field questions, especially over the last few months. My own self-awareness is full of blind spots, and I am not a fount of knowledge in this area — I’m a long way from it. I answer with honesty and transparency, but it is not my job to educate you. There are amazing resources out there for you to explore and start to build your own understanding and awareness.
I have seen the same at work, with a Black employee being expected to deliver on inclusion despite it not being related to her role. I am happy to have those difficult conversations, but you need to know for yourself. Then I can provide a little help in building your own house of awareness.” ― Lee Chambers, environmental psychologist and well-being consultant
5. Yes, we’re living through a difficult time, but I don’t need your pity.
“Just because there is more hate openly directed toward BIPOC right now, please don’t feel sorry for my family or me because we are Black. I am a proud Black woman who loves everything about my race and would never trade in my Blackness for anything ‘easier.’ Save your pity for the racist, whose world is made small and toxic by their limiting beliefs.” — Laura Cathcart Robbins, writer and host of “The Only One In The Room” podcast
6. Listen when I’m talking about my struggles, instead of trying to interject with your own.
“When we share our stories of racism, injustice and discrimination, we don’t need you to chime in about your hardships, too. They are not, and will never be, the same. If we are comfortable sharing what we experience as Black people, it is best to listen, validate the feelings and empathize.” ― LeNaya Smith Crawford, marriage and family therapist and holistic wellness expert
7. Saying I’m ‘articulate’ isn’t a compliment — it’s a microaggression.
“I can’t tell you how many white people in my life thought they were paying me a compliment by suggesting that I ‘don’t talk like I’m Black.’ How you speak has everything to do with education, culture and the language spoken at home, and nothing to do with race. Also, if speaking properly is ‘talking white,’ how do you explain the inordinate number of inarticulate Caucasian people on reality television?” ― Cathcart Robbins
8. Your racist jokes aren’t amusing, they’re offensive.
“Too many times, I have been in circles where racially insensitive jokes are passed around and you hear the ‘it’s not that serious’ trope. You’re right. It’s not that serious — for you, who is not Black. I want them to take the time to listen to our experiences while keeping in mind the point about [Black people] not all being the same. I want them to inform themselves as to why these jokes are not appropriate.” ― Jan-Kristòf Louis-Mansano, school counselor .... [See the other 8 here]
In these turbulent and uncertain times, aren't you glad that you have your friendly neighborhood Field Negro to help us to understand each other?
Field Negro believes that White Supremacy is a real thing and not just a rhetorical device to beat up on White People for the benefit of certain elites and as a way for corporations to divert energy away from countering the collapse of the Middle Class.
ReplyDeleteGo figure.
But then we have stoopid anymoose who can't fathom white privilege because Fake Noize and drumpf told him not to.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe in the landslide victory talk. Why do we accept two sets of rules? I have always fought against such. If the GOP wins by one vote don't you think they'll claim victory? If so why do we not accept that as the standard? Enough with the double standards and allowing conservatives to dominate the conversations and rules. If Biden wins by one vote he wins plain and simply and fuck trump. Once you allow these childlike morons to cheat it will never end. They already stole a supreme court seat why let them stean a presidential election too? There's only one way I know of to deal with a bully and that's punch him in the nose as hard as you can when you've had enough. Democrats need to show some spine and stop allowing these asshats to run over them. That is all.
ReplyDeleteWhat Pilot X said.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you want to understand the attitudes of some Black people, I found it educating to live around them for a while. Like as the only white person in an otherwise Black household. For about a year.
I thought I had a pretty solid grip on what Black people experience in America (or at least in the Bay Area where I lived).
I was wrong.

ReplyDelete"I don't believe in the landslide victory talk. Why do we accept two sets of rules? I have always fought against such. If the GOP wins by one vote don't you think they'll claim victory?"
ReplyDeleteBecause the two sets of rules are the law. There are baked-in, undemocratic features of our electoral system that mean Democrats effectively have to win big in order to get elected president, while Republicans can modestly lose and still get elected president (see: Bush, George W and Trump, Donald).
It's bullshit, but it's the law. If you want to totally disregard the law, then we're in the land of violent revolution and all kinds of things become possible (both good and bad things).

Fergus is the most corrupt president in our history:

"Those ballots they found? There were nine of them and seven were marked as voting for Fergus."
ReplyDeleteThey all had been unsealed. Pennsylvania election officials had resealed two before the FBI got there. You can be sure they were for Trump too.
And they "found" nine, which doesn't exclude the high probability that there were many more.
Also today: The U.S. Postal Service is investigating how three trays of mail, including absentee ballots, ended up in a ditch line in Wisconsin, a swing state whose voters could prove crucial in the upcoming elections
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/mail-absentee-ballots-found-wisconsin-ditch
Dems have already been busted in two swing states trashing Trump ballots.
You know the polls are fake, right?
ReplyDeleteFergus lies so much that you have to translate the lies into reality to find out what the damn fool is lying about.
ReplyDeleteI believe there to be a good chance that most of his most recent verbal malfunctions (about getting rid of the ballots and failing to observe a peaceful transfer of power) are classic examples of Fergus saying the things that he knows will derail all other attention to the everyday atrocities he and his felons have recently perpetrated.
He does that shit all of the damn time.
Some of the things he may be hoping to distract attention away from just now include the state of his campaign finances, which just caused him to pull $4.5 million in advertising in swing states forty days before the election, the fact that the planning team in the west wing are in fact working overtime coming up with plans for a transition, 200,000 dead Americans he utterly failed to protect from a virus he is on tape acknowledging the seriousness of, the confession from his postmaster general that the reason he won't reinstall the high speed sorting machines he removed is because he had them torn apart and critical parts of them thrown away, he is losing support in rural America even faster than in suburban America, and more than half of those polled think that the next president should be the one to appoint a supreme court justice.
There are more. Fergus is not having a good week, a good month, or a good presidency.
Serves the bastard right for running without being serious about it in the first place. All of the legal trouble he's in? Would have flown right under the radar like it always had for him had he not become the fucking president. All of the people who hate him with the heat of a thousand suns and will most likely make sure that the rest of his life is fraught with fear and uncertainty? None of them would have given two hairs on a rat's furry ass about him had he not run for president. And on and on.
He is what happens when someone is raised rich without any accountability and never ever had to do a damn bit of real work in their whole miserable life. They don't believe that consequences are real for their behavior.
He is getting a crash course on that subject right the fuck now, and one can only hope that it is as painful and unpleasant as the misery he has rained down upon all the people he has fucked over in his presidency, and indeed, his whole despicable life.

ReplyDeleteIndian CEO learns an expensive lesson on why poor blacks are poor:
ReplyDelete"Krishna “Kris” Singh, the CEO and president of Holtec, has been labeled as one of the saviors of Camden since his company cut the ribbon on a new 600,000-square-foot manufacturing facility that promised hundreds of jobs for local residents.
“This plant is costing us millions right now,” he said.
The reason, Singh said, is simple: Holtec cannot recruit and retain the workforce it needs — despite huge efforts to hire local employees.
The issues range from entitlement to lack of training, Singh said. High turnover is the result.
“We are starting from a base which is zero,” Singh said. “People don’t have the skills.”
They also lack a history of working.
“There is no tradition of work in families,” he said. “That has been a problem. If we hire 10, we keep two. The other eight weed themselves out.”
Singh, a self-made millionaire, is trying to understand it.
“They don’t show up to work,” he said. “They can’t stand getting up in the morning and coming to work every single day. They haven’t done it, and they didn’t see their parents do it. Of course, some of them get into drugs and things. So, it’s difficult.”
He’s not the only one to feel this way."

"European Metal Recycling, known as EMR, is a global leader. It also recently opened its plant in Camden, after looking at other options, including New Orleans.
ReplyDeleteThe company recycles cars and car parts, processing roughly 3,000 cars per month to-date, according to President Joe Balzano.
That is, if it can find people to do the work.
“It’s not easy,” Balzano said. “I think it’s hard to attract people. It’s not glamorous work. Getting people to engage is difficult. We have a lot of training that has to go on.”
The payoff, however, is pretty good, Balzano said.
“It is a union facility, so they get probably the best health care in the world, and a pension,” he said. “It’s certainly worth it if they stick it out. But we are going through a turnover. Pretty rapidly.”
Balzano cited the same issue with work culture.
“I think the expectations from an employee to an employer is difficult,” he said. “There’s an expectation that, ‘Well, I came to work today,’ versus the expectation to do something.”
Balzano said the average employee probably makes, including the full package of benefits, about $30 per hour."

There were initial stories that the police had gone to the wrong house, and this and other incorrect beliefs did help drive outrage. These stories were untrue. The cops intended to search Breonna Taylor’s house, and had a legal warrant to do so, based on her connection to her drug dealer ex-boyfriend.
I’m not sure who was responsible for the misinformation, whether it was early news media reporting or just rampant internet rumors.
Regardless, I feel like even without the falsehoods, there would still have been a lot of anger anyway. A woman is dead, and there was no evidence to tie her to a crime, and there’s just a lot of generalized anger at the cops in the black community. So people want to believe that the cops who killed Taylor must have broken some law.
But from where I’m sitting, actually, no, it doesn’t look like they did.

The cops weren’t looking to arrest Taylor’s ex-boyfriend at her home. They knew he wasn’t there. The detectives believed Breonna Taylor was an accomplice in her ex’s criminal enterprise.
The police believed Taylor was receiving packages for the ex at her home. They were hoping their search would turn up drugs and/or cash, evidence that they could use to prosecute him.
Louisville courier Journal...
ReplyDeleteClaim: Police located their main suspect before going to Taylor’s home
Several Twitter and Facebook posts have maintained that Glover, one of the main targets in Louisville police’s narcotics investigation, already was in jail before officers executed the March 13 search warrant at Taylor’s apartment.
In a lawsuit filed in Jefferson Circuit Court in April against the three Louisville police officers who fired their weapons by Taylor’s family, attorneys also argue that, “Glover was located and identified by LMPD prior to the warrant being executed at Breonna’s home.”
In an additional filing in early July, the attorneys alleged that police actually converged on Glover’s house on Elliott Avenue around midnight — well before police entered Taylor’s apartment.
The Taylor family’s contention is that police had no need to execute the warrant at her apartment that resulted in her death since they already had located their main target.
In a recorded statement to investigators, Mattingly said police executed the warrant at Taylor’s apartment at the same time as the home on Elliott Avenue. Mattingly said the warrant for her apartment was secured as a no-knock, but he was told to knock and announce.
Taylor’s apartment was considered a “soft target” with minimal threats.
“They said they did not believe she had children or animals, but they weren’t sure,” Mattingly said. “Said she should be there alone because they knew where their target was.”
Taylor’s name was listed on the search warrant for her home, along with Glover’s name.
According to court records obtained by The Courier Journal, police executed the search warrant for Taylor’s apartment at 12:40 a.m. March 13.
Police also executed a search warrant about 10 miles from Taylor’s home at a reported drug house on Elliott Avenue in the Russell neighborhood, records show. There, police found Glover and charged him.
Glover’s arrest citation lists the time of his offense at 12:40 a.m., the same time the search warrant was executed. But his arrest was listed at 2:43 a.m. March 13, more than two hours later.
In the amended complaint, Aguiar says police initially recorded the time for the search and Glover’s arrest as midnight, then later altered the record to add 40 minutes — matching the search time for Taylor’s apartment.
Police Officer Kelly Hanna Goodlett “originally identifies the Elliott search time at ’12′ on the warrant execution form, only to subsequently add a faint ‘40’ later on to give the impression entry was made around the same time as entry to Breonna’s,” Aguiar wrote in the document.
A copy of the seized property log turned in to the Circuit Court Clerk’s Office after the March 13 search shows the original time of search scratched out and replaced with “0040” on both pages of the document.
The time of the first item seized is logged as 0120.
In a March 16 email, Goodlett wrote that the Elliott Avenue warrants were carried out at “approximately 0015 hours,” or 12:15 a.m. on March 13. Additionally, a K-9 report from Elliott Avenue that night indicates the dog began the search at 12:25 a.m.
Glover told The Courier Journal/USA TODAY that he learned Taylor had died while he was handcuffed outside the Elliott Avenue house and overheard officers and dispatchers on a police radio saying shots had been fired at her apartment address.
Our rating: Likely true
Police documents offer conflicting accounts of whether officers executed the search warrants simultaneously at Elliott Avenue and at Taylor’s apartment.
But even if Glover was not in custody before officers forced their way into Taylor’s home, based on statements by Mattingly, police still likely knew where he was at that time, as attorneys for Taylor’s family assert.
Pigs did manipulate the time of Glover raid to coincide with Breonna Taylor's death. Little ass covering goes a long way with criminal pigs.

ReplyDeleteAgain, not really relevant, since the main reason the cops raided Taylor’s apartment was to recover evidence, not the suspect.

Besides, crime rates have been falling since the 90s, so we have too many police chasing not enough crime. It's time to reduce the police's numbers, methods, and equipment; and the Honeybee Rule is as good a method as any.

In recent years the police have been solving about 4 of every 10 murders in the city, but police data show the rate is even worse when the victim is African American.
The data, obtained by WBEZ under Illinois' open-records law, show the city had 849 murders between the beginning of 2018 and this past July. When the victim was white, 47% of the cases were solved during those same 19 months. For Hispanics, the rate was about 33%. When the victim was African American, it was less than 22%.

ReplyDeleteThis is also misleading, or incomplete, information. I saw an interview with the boyfriend (not the drug dealer ex; the one who lived with Breonna and shot at the cops), which was conducted by NY Times staffers.
He admitted that the cops knocked before entering, so all of the witness testimony from the neighbors (who had a much worse vantage point than him) is totally irrelevant.
The sequence of events was:
1) The cops knocked
2) Breonna and her boyfriend didn’t come to the door
3) So the cops kicked it down
4) Breonna’s boyfriend started shooting at them, thinking the intruders were criminals
5) They fired back, hitting and killing Breonna.
While the cops did initially apply for a “no knock” warrant, uktimately, “no knock” warrants were not a factor in Ms. Taylor’s death.
"While the cops did initially apply for a “no knock” warrant, uktimately, “no knock” warrants were not a factor in Ms. Taylor’s death."
ReplyDeleteYou don't know that first of all and secondly they were working with bad information to obtain the no-knock warrant.
"The audio reveals Walker's account of that night during an interview with the Louisville Metro Police Department hours after his girlfriend's death. He said he and Taylor shouted "who is it?" after hearing multiple knocks at their door.
ReplyDeleteWhen they heard no response, the door "came off its hinges," and he was "scared to death," he said, according to CNN. Walker fired a shot at Sgt. Jonathan Mattingly, the officer who led the raid, in his leg. He also said he was licensed to carry a gun."
They heard banging and no answer when they asked who was there. Doesn't sound like the police identified themselves according to her boyfriend. Also why was medical assistance withheld from Breonna? Too many mistakes.

1. Alaska
• Violent crime rate: 885 per 100,000 people
• Total 2018 murders: 47 (12th lowest)
• Imprisonment rate: 343 adults per 100,000 (14th lowest)
• Poverty rate: 10.9% (13th lowest)
• Most dangerous city: Anchorage
In my first reference, Chicago is listed as Number 20, not number one. And in the second reference, Chicago isn't even listed in the top 30.
Furthermore, looking at states, Alaska has the highest per capita (per 100,000) violent crime rate of all the states and its most violent city is Anchorage. These data for Alaska represent all violent crimes, not just homicides.
Alaska is the number one state with the most violent crimes, but number 12 in homicides. The data are easy to find, just Google the topic.

Face facts: ‘Black Lives Matter’ is all about hate
ReplyDeleteIts agenda is plain for all to see: cop-killing.
With another two police officers shot at the Black Lives Matter riot in Louisville on Wednesday, it’s time to lift the veil on the whole movement: It’s a haven for unrepentant cop-killers.
These aren’t isolated incidents. It has been fewer than two weeks since supposedly “peaceful” BLM radicals chanted, “We hope they die,” while blocking the entrance to a hospital where two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies were undergoing life-saving surgery. An assailant had walked up to their patrol vehicle and opened fire from point-blank range without provocation.
Those chilling words echo the rhetoric we hear from BLM founders and members, who make clear that a prime objective of BLM is to “Kill Cops.” Up until now, this has been kept well enough under wraps to deceive major corporations, professional sports leagues and countless well-meaning Americans.
Joe Biden has made propagating this movement’s lies a centerpiece of his presidential campaign, waiting months before condemning the wanton violence perpetrated by BLM. Staff members on the Biden campaign contributed money to secure the release of rioters charged with crimes. Meanwhile, progressive Democratic prosecutors refused to even charge some of the worst rioters.
Some people try to separate BLM “the organization” from “the movement” that goes by the same name, but at most they are two sides of the same coin. From the start, both the organization and the movement — BLM writ large — have been about hatred and violence that extends beyond police and includes all white people, all blacks who are conservative and the United States of America.
We saw this in 2014, when BLM first attained national prominence. After months of anti-police rioting, a man pledging “revenge for Michael Brown and Eric Garner” traveled to New York City, stuck a pistol through the window of a squad car and opened fire. Detectives Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu died on the scene.
I mourned the officers like the rest of New York did. And when I met with the Ramos and Liu families, I was aghast. I reiterated my call for politicians to abandon their reckless anti-police rhetoric. “Maybe,” I suggested, “they should spend the next four months not talking about police hatred, but talking about what they are going to do about bringing down crime in the community.”
Nineteen months later, a man opened fire at a BLM protest in Dallas, murdering five officers. BLM disavowed responsibility, but the killer had deep links to the movement’s radical ideology, stating that he “wanted to kill white people, especially white officers.” BLM supporters certainly didn’t stop chanting “Pigs in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon” in the aftermath, either.
BLM counts on a legion of journalists who believe BLM will help advance a “progressive” agenda. They will never admit that violence against police isn’t an unfortunate outgrowth of the BLM movement — but the central point.
Black Lives Matter isn’t about black lives. It ignores the 8,000 to 9,000 black lives taken by other blacks every year in minority communities across the nation. Those black lives, and the lives of African American police officers, don’t matter.
Black Lives Matter isn’t about “holding police accountable,” and it isn’t a good-faith call for reasonable reform.
If we had a functioning mainstream media, this would be common knowledge by now. Instead, people are learning the real nature of BLM by watching protesters scream “We hope they die” outside a hospital where two cops are fighting for their lives.
The time has come to face the facts. If you ever supported Black Lives Matter, then you are either a left-wing radical — or you got duped. There is no shame in the latter. By design, the relentlessly repeated cry of “Black lives matter” is an unassailable moral truism, calculated to bully people into supporting a radical, revolutionary, anti-order movement.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is that it isn’t too late to make the right decision. You can be a good person who decries racism and condemns police misconduct yet still reject violent left-wing radicalism unequivocally. You can stand for the safety and human dignity of black people — and of all people — and simultaneously stand with the police officers who maintain law and order.
It starts with rejecting BLM and every politician who has been cynical enough to enable the radical forces intent on tearing this country apart. When you see Black Lives Matter, realize they are dedicated to killing cops. Too much blood has been spilled already. It has to stop.

Trump expands ban on critical race theory to federal contractors
ReplyDeletePresident Trump signed an executive order expanding a ban on government agencies receiving sensitivity training involving critical race theory to federal contractors.
“A few weeks ago, I BANNED efforts to indoctrinate government employees with divisive and harmful sex and race-based ideologies,” the president announced on Twitter on Tuesday.
“Today, I’ve expanded that ban to people and companies that do business with our Country, the United States Military, Government Contractors, and Grantees. Americans should be taught to take PRIDE in our Great Country, and if you don’t, there’s nothing in it for you!” he said in a second post.
The executive order says the government has prohibited federal contractors from “engaging in race or sex discrimination and required contractors to take affirmative action to ensure such discrimination does not occur.”
It says contractors’ workers who participate in training that “promotes race or sex-stereotyping or scapegoating similarly undermines efficiency in federal contracting,” adding that it promotes divisiveness and distracts from the “pursuit of excellence.”
“Therefore, it shall be the policy of the United States not to promote race or sex-stereotyping or scapegoating in the Federal workforce or in the Uniformed Services, and not to allow grant funds to be used for these purposes. In addition, Federal contractors will not be permitted to inculcate such views in their employees,” the order said.
It builds on an order issued earlier this month that instructs federal agencies to end diversity training programs that teach about “white privilege” and critical race theory.
Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought outlined the directive in a memo.
“The President has directed me to ensure that Federal agencies cease and desist from using taxpayer dollars to fund these divisive, un-American propaganda training sessions,” Vought wrote. “Executive Branch agencies have spent millions of taxpayer dollars to date ‘training’ government workers to believe divisive, anti-American propaganda.”
“For example, according to press reports, employees across the Executive Branch have been required to attend trainings where they are told that ‘virtually all White people contribute to racism’ or where they are required to say that they ‘benefit from racism,’” the memo continued. “We cannot accept our employees receiving training that seeks to undercut our core values as Americans and drive division within our workforce.”
"Which includes suicides."

Discriminatory lending to Black entrepreneurs made up the largest share of this number—a total of $13 trillion in lost revenue
Blacks get less lending because they are far more likely to be delinquent on loan payments (source).
with 6.1 million lost jobs because of the lack of equal capital given to Black businesses.
The average black receives about $10,000 annually in government benefits over and above taxes paid.
The second-highest sum came from wage gaps. The U.S. economy lost another $2.7 trillion merely because Black people are not paid equally to their non-Black peers.
Due to affirmative action, "civil rights" and "disparate impact", the average employed black holds a much higher-paying job than their skills merit and cannot be fired even for blatant misconduct. These enormous costs are a major factor driving industry overseas. Without these grossly unfair advantages, most blacks in the USA would be starving.

ReplyDeleteLOL. Sure kid.
I used to know a murderer who was Black. His name was JJ and he did time for murder three different times. He died in 2002 of kidney failure. He was hilarious.
ReplyDeleteI have seen more than my share of gang violence, but contrary to the stereotype, not all gang bangers are Black.
The closest I have ever been to a murder was in the parking lot of the check cashing place on the corner of International Blvd. and High street. A short white guy came walking through the parking lot right in front of the car I was driving, whipped out his shit and started shooting at some dudes who were standing in front of the strip mall.
He killed all four of them. I jammed it in reverse and got ready to duck down behind the dash board if he turned around.
He didn't.
I drove around the block and parked on the street in front of the check cashing place, and the cops and ambulances all showed up while I was in line to cash my check.
There were blankets over the bodies as I was leaving, and the short white guy was long gone.

Just wondering if the person at 0006 even knows any Blah people.
ReplyDeleteI've noticed another thing about the enemies of Black Lives Matter. Dr. Phil had a very nice white ally of the movement on today. Opposite her was a real piece of work. A blonde conservative lady from Texas who had some real smart zingers ready to go being given a national platform instead of her website which I'm sure never attracts anyone of any note.
ReplyDeleteSo she starts off, "I'm a terrible racist. At least that's what I have been told..." And it just got worse from there. Big fucking smirk on her silly face as she executed what she thought must have been a wonderfully clever takedown of contemporary race relations in the U.S. today.
She just came off very trivial and misinformed. It was actually sad to watch.
So a lot of trolls I've encountered here and there across the internets seem to play the exact same lament. Why are all white people racists? What did we do to deserve this? My family never owned slaves. That was ancient history. La-ti-dah & cetera ad infinitum.
Well my white friends. You must be doing something wrong. Not every white person worries about being branded a racist. If it was up to me, I'd say you guys probably are racists. That's why it follows you around and you can't seem to get away from it. And, yes, if you believe the president that Black Lives Matter is a terrorist organization, there is a very good chance you are not merely racist. But really quite sincerely racist.
Farting Janitor watches Dr. Phil.
ReplyDeleteLOL.

ReplyDeleteClassic Doug story.
Black people think he's really cool.

ReplyDeleteGo hang out in Englewood for a bit, it's just a short cross-town drive for you. Chimpcongo is setting records for murders this year, you're bound to see something.
Maybe you need to get out just a bit. Hell, I'll show you around Chicago and I'll bet you won't see one robbery, rape or murder.
I've seen several of them on YouTube, and then there's all the looting in downtown that I bet you don't believe because you haven't seen it yourself either.
the average employed black holds a much higher-paying job than their skills merit and cannot be fired even for blatant misconduct
ReplyDeletePerfect description of the drumpf clan and all stoopid fucking wingnuts.
In 2018, a federal prosecutor in North Carolina charged 19 immigrants with illegally voting in 2016. Some of those cases have ended with minor fines, the N&O has reported, while others have yet to be decided.
ReplyDeleteThe state’s post-2016 audit found that voter fraud is “neither rampant nor non-existent in North Carolina” and that “ineligible voters are not isolated to one political party or any geographical region of the state.”
Including the 41 non-citizen voters, the audit identified 508 cases of suspected voter fraud, the N&O has reported. Nearly all of them were people with felony records who hadn’t had their rights restored yet.
The 2016 elections also saw false allegations of voter fraud during and after the election. Trump has made numerous false statements about immigrants voting. North Carolina was one of the states Trump singled out in one rally, falsely claiming Barack Obama only won the state in 2008 because thousands of immigrants voted illegally for him.
Much ado about nothing. How does 19 alleged frauds coreallate with millions of illegal voters?

Phucking bawl baby poopy John wingnuts trying to have voter fraud both ways in Pennsylvania....
ReplyDelete9 ballots were tossed because wingnuts sued to have them tossed. And now they claim voter fraud.
https://www.rawstory.com/2020/09/the-9-discarded-ballots-were-tossed-because-republicans-won-their-lawsuit-requiring-them-to-not-be-counted-report/
Here’s what appears to have happened, and we’re going to bullet point this so it’s easy to follow.
ReplyDeleteThe ballots were discarded by a temporary, or “contract” worker assigned to sort the mail who appears to have been following direction.
The ballots were military ballots, not absentee or other by-mail ballots.
The county immediately reported what happened to federal officials, who appear to have immediately politicized the issue.
“Because these ballots were returned in envelopes similar to absentee ballot requests, elections officials opened them,” The Washington Post reports. “If the ballots weren’t then enclosed in another envelope which shielded the actual vote being cast, they may have been considered ‘naked ballots,’ a term used to describe mail ballots returned without the voter’s intent being protected.
The Trump campaign and the Pennsylvania GOP in a lawsuit argued that “naked ballots” should not be counted. They won that lawsuit. These nine ballots appear to be “naked ballots,” and that appears to be the reason they were thrown out.
Stoopid fucking wingnuts are just that, stoopid fucking wingnuts.
Great points. These could all be converted to hilarious sketches on Saturday Night Live or some other comic outlet, if the writers were tuned-in enough. ("Sorry I'm late for work, a cop pulled me over for a taillight problem, frisked me, put me in a chokehold and threatened to shoot me before I talked him down." "That's tough. I've been suffering with this annoying hangnail, myself.")
ReplyDeleteWhat's the deal with Chris Rock being House Negro of the Day? My tendency is to believe you read him wrong. I saw a long article in the NYT in which he compared Trump to the 5 y/o Last Emperor, but no mention of the coronavirus being the fault of Dems. He's usually one of the sharpest knives in the drawer, so maybe you misheard or misread?

OMG!, 19 out of how many million? Thousand? Sounds like a house on fire threat!
Read your Newsweek source on Chris Rock, which quoted the NYT article I read. His blaming Pelosi and the Dems for not being pro-active, ie, substituting for Trump because they already KNEW he was incompetent, is a fair point, or at least debatable. Not enough reason for House Negro status, with such a rich field of contenders out there. How about the Kentucky AG?

Would that extend to not robbing, raping or murdering them? Because blacks certainly don't extend those elementary courtesies to ANYONE, not even their own. Such crimes are epidemic in "the community" and wherever it rubs up against others.

You are the idiot for posting bull shit. Go to national crime statistics and you will find that most crime in intraracial. For you and other low information types. That means most cries involve black on black and white on white perpetrators and victims. Therefore if you are white, you should be more afraid of white people than you are of black people.
Race and Violent Offender Propensity: Does the Intraracial ...www.ncjrs.gov › Publications
https://www.ncjrs.gov/App/Publications/abstract.aspx?ID=96748
"The findings indicate that though causes behind the predominantly intraracial nature of violent crime remain open to and worthy of investigation, the proposition that Black offenders' racial animosity for White people is what drives high levels of interracial offending can be dismissed."
ReplyDeleteThe article I have referenced below provides a very interesting take on what the Democrats could do to stop Trump's nomination to the Supreme Court. We must put pressure on our Democratic US Senators to do just what this article describes. It's a bit long, but well worth the effort to read it all.
From Electorl-Vote
https://www.electoral-vote.com/evp2020/Pres/Maps/Sep19.html#item-1
"Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the towering figures of Supreme Court history, passed away at the age of 87 on Friday. She fought the good fight against a host of maladies for more than a decade, but the latest recurrence of cancer proved to be too much to overcome. May she rest in peace........
....And now, the politics of her passing. You're going to hear a couple of phrases a lot in the next couple of months, so let's deal with those first:
The "Biden Rule": This comes from a speech that then-senator Joe Biden gave on the floor of the Senate on June 25, 1992. Following the bitter Clarence Thomas hearings, and concerned that the process of approving justices had become too politicized, he opined that in an election year, the approval process should be postponed until after the election. Note that he did not say "until the next inauguration." Note also that he was speaking hypothetically, as there was no open spot on the Supreme Court when he made the speech. As chance would have it, the next seat that did come open was the one Ruth Bader Ginsburg was appointed to on August 10, 1993.
The "McConnell Rule": The "Biden Rule" did not actually acquire that name until Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) decided that he needed cover for blocking Barack Obama's appointment of Merrick Garland to the Supreme Court. At that point, McConnell announced that he could not, in good conscience, consider a Supreme Court nominee in an election year, and that the process would have to wait until the new president and new Congress were sworn in.
Already prominent Democrats, including Biden and Obama have called on McConnell to observe the McConnell Rule, and to hold off until next year on replacing Ginsburg......"
"Go hang out in Englewood for a bit, it's just a short cross-town drive for you."
ReplyDeleteYou must be new here because you spout the tired old cliches and stereotypes. I do hang out on Englewood, my buddy's wife is a principal at a school there and we play basketball in the gym. There's also a really nice Whole Foods that plays live music and has cheese and wine tastings on Friday. Maybe you should actually do more than watch youtube videos and read white supremacist websites. Actually going places and meeting people is a better way of educating oneself.
Two questions: 1. have you ever been to Chicago? 2. Do you know any Blah people?
"Well my white friends. You must be doing something wrong. Not every white person worries about being branded a racist."
ReplyDeleteThat is generally how it goes, the people crying about being called racist usually say racist shit and get called out on it. A friend of a friend tried to claim that was a Democratic tactic to silence conservatives but this was a guy who saw I was Blah and proceeded to ask highly racist questions and make racist accusations without knowing me. Example, how many out of wedlock kids do you have? How much tax money goes to your welfare check. Just wow, and this asshat isn't smart enough to know he's a racist. F.J. I think it's a matter of intelligence, the not so bright typically are the most racist. Maybe it's a defense mechanism because they've been taught their entire lives that they are better than all Blah people so it makes them feel better. To wit look at Gambler, she has at least a master's degree and she has fullfilling relationships with people of different ethnicities. 🤔

OK, two things:
ReplyDeleteFirst, Luzerne County is under Republican control, and second, as was pointed out to her very own right wing troll by Comrade Misfit, peaceful transfer of power indicates the lack of shooting.
That is what Fergus is failing to agree to, the lack of shooting.

ReplyDelete"Go to national crime statistics and you will find that most crime in intraracial."
ReplyDeleteQuoting myself: "blacks certainly don't extend those elementary courtesies to ANYONE, not even their own. Such crimes are epidemic in "the community"....
Pulling data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics 2019 report:
https://www.bjs.gov/content/pub/pdf/cv19.pdf
I also wrote "and wherever it ["the community"] rubs up against others." One thing the intelligent reader (not including you) will get from Table 13 (p. 17) is that blacks are almost TWICE as likely to be an offender in a violent crime than a victim: 1,140,470 offenders, only 582,650 victims. Just shy of half of all black violent crime is inter-racial.
Whites are almost 50% more likely to be victims of violent crime than offenders. In other words, in an all-White USA the rate of violent crimes against Whites would drop by almost a third.
This is obvious from the data, and only an idiot could miss it.
"the proposition that Black offenders' racial animosity for White people is what drives high levels of interracial offending can be dismissed."
So blacks are just violent in general? Good reason to avoid them. Better yet, prohibit them from going outside their own ghettoes.

ReplyDeleteAnecdata. Two events in a country of 330+ million mean nothing; you can find two of ANYTHING in a country that big.
What matters is the offending rate. 2,289,390 White offenders among 171,423,480 Whites is 1336 per 100k. 1,140,470 black offenders among 33,397,100 blacks is 3415 per 100k, and for some crimes like armed robbery and murder the disparity approaches 10:1.
