The Fuehrer Principle

I understand now how Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party became so powerful in Germany, and how,  as president of the party, he was able to rise to power through the "Fuehrer principle". In case you were wondering, the Fuehrer principle allowed Hitler to stand outside of the legal state and decide matters of policy himself.  As I watched puppy killer Kristi Noem defend the actions of those who committed another state killing of a United States citizen on live television, I couldn't help but think how lucky Mr. Trump is to have such devoted sycophants who are willing to suspend disbelief and lie on his behalf. The problem is, of course, that these are state actors who have been granted an incredible amount of power within our government.  They have weaponized the justice department, the military, and agencies like ICE against their perceived political enemies to carry out their sick and twisted agenda.

Most of us know what the agenda is: To make America white again. The problem is, of course, that they didn't anticipate white people of good conscience defying them, and standing up for what is right and just. The gentleman who those agents murdered yesterday on a cold street corner in Minnesota, was a nurse with the Veterans Administration, and a white American citizen. He was trying to assist a woman who Kristi Noem's agents were brutalizing. It was the second such killing of  white American citizen caught on camera in a matter of days, and most Americans are finally starting to realize that maybe the Fuhrer principle isn't something that we want to be living with in our country.  I say most, because there are still those MAGA diehards who refuse to break away from the clutches of their own prejudices and ignorance to see the truth. It's why they voted to put their own version of the Fuehrer in power in the first place. You have heard this before, and it bears repeating: It's a cult! Donald Trump is their Jim Jones, and they will follow him wherever he leads them. The only difference between  Donald Trump and Jim Jones, is that Trump would have charged the people in the temple at Jonestown for the Kool-Aid. Sadly, I'm pretty sure that his MAGA followers would have gladly paid for it before taking that last sip.

Like the rest of us, they all watched the video of an innocent American citizen being murdered by state actors yesterday. And yet, they still try to gaslight us with the Trump administration talking points about the killing.  You will see their comments on websites and in chat rooms over the next few days. You will see some of them on this website after this post. They will try to give you the FOX News and White House talking points: The victim was armed, the victim was a domestic terrorist, the victim had a death wish, and on and on.  But the video doesn't lie. Believe your own eyes, not what puppy killer Noem tells you. The man was not threatening those agents when he was shot, he was not a domestic terrorist, and he certainly did not seem to have  death wish.

The next few days should be interesting. I wish I could say that there will be a change in how this administration and what they are doing to America will be viewed, but I have no faith in the American press, the opposition party, or the citizens of this country to do the right thing. What the Trump administration is doing to this country has not yet seeped into the zeitgeist in a meaningful way. This latest killing will be just another story in the news cycle, and then it's on to the next one.

One thing I do know is that the more we talk and write about everything else, is the less we will talk and write about Jeffrey Epstein. Which sadly, is just the way the Fuehrer wants it.

The Field Negro Power Rankings. (FNPR)

I just dropped the House Negro Power Rankings. So now it's only fair that I acknowledge the Field Negroes holding it down in these divided states of America as well.

Here goes.

10. Jemele Hill: When you discuss race in an honest way it always makes certain folks uncomfortable. Jemele is not afraid to do that on some very high profile platforms. She made fun of my Eagles after the loss to the Niners, but I forgive her.

09. Don Lemon: See what I wrote about Jemele. The same applies to Lemon. Lemon is slightly higher in the rankings because his profile is a tad bit higher.

08. D.L. Hughley: I wasn't crazy about this brother when he was doing standup, but he has become a fierce and honest  broker when it comes to criticizing and calling out this administration for their blatant racism.

07. Navy Admiral Alvin Holey:  This former commander of SOUTHCOM resigned  and retired from the Navy rather than be led by a Commander- in-Chief who has zero respect for the Constitution of the United States. That is Field Negro behavior. I salute you sir.

06.  Wes Moore: Current Governor of Maryland and hopefully soon to move on to higher things. Holding it down in his state and keeping it in the fields gets him in the top ten. Bonus Field Negro points for having yawdie roots.

05. Letitia James: All that MAGA hate and Trump still can't touch you. Your office charged Trump with civil fraud and won a conviction. That is Field Negro behavior, and it gets you in the power rankings.

04. Ketanji Brown-Jackson: Sitting on the highest court in the land, and having to deal with fellow justices who are mental midgets with no business being in the same room with you, makes you worthy of your position on these rankings.

03. Joy Reid: Some might argue that you shouldn't be this high on the list, but your recent smack down of Stephen A. Smith gets you major Field Negro points in my book.

02.  Michele Obama: I'm starting to see a pattern.  Black women currently have this Field Negro movement on lock.

01. Roz Brewer:  You all have probably never heard of this sister. She is only the second black woman to run a Fortune 500 company, the first black woman to sit on the powerful Amazon board, and she dedicated her time to making Starbuck's practices more racially sensitive.  That gets her number one on the FNPR this week.

The Trump Distraction Machine.

This character in the White House is doing everything in his powers to change the storyline and narrative from Jeffrey Epstein and the Epstein files. The man is literally threatening to go to war with Columbia, Mexico, and an innocent non-threatening autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark. If you haven't heard of it already, you will be hearing a lot about Greenland over the next few weeks. He has already invaded Venezuela and snatched the leader and his wife so that his billionaire pals in the oil industry can take and exploit their oil.  All of this to keep us from shining a light on Jeffrey Epstein and the nefarious acts that he could have committed with his pedophile pal. After all, in  the eyes of many, being a genocidal warmonger and a Christofascist  xenophobe is still not as bad as being a pedophile.

A few days ago a state actor from ICE shot and killed mother of three in the streets of Minneapolis. A tragic and unnecessary incident which could have been prevented if the officer had practiced some restraint. Whether the killing is justified or not is irrelevant at this point. The issue should be whether it was preventable. Newsflash: It was! Of course the one person in America who we know was happy about this tragic bit of news, is the aforementioned character in the White House. This horrific incident has eaten up the news cycle over the past days, and that's good news if you're trying to  distract us from focusing on what is in the Epstein files.  Mr. Trump's easily distracted and cultish sycophants can now find something else to cheer him on about. Whether its Somali immigrants stealing most of our federal funds, or Venezuelan drug dealers killing Americans with fentanyl (both lies, by the way), they need something, anything, to take their minds from the reality of this dystopian nightmare that we are currently living through as a country.  They refuse to see it because they voted for this madness, and to do so would mean admitting that they were wrong. It would mean that they would have to live with the fact that voting for this man to be America's leader for a second time,  might have been the worst mistake of their miserable lives.

Meanwhile, the character in the White House watches with glee as he plots his next distraction. He does this as we, the American people, and the people of the world, all hold our breaths fearing what will come next.

On a personal note, I am excited to be teaming with some new social media folks, who will be hopefully increasing the profile of my content and helping me to maneuver to some different platforms.

I hope you will follow me on this journey while we collectively try to work our way through this madness.
