I will protect massa's house at all costs!

Another day in A-merry-ca and the hate filled, right wing, jingoistic mobs are in rare form. (Is that a black person I see in the middle of that pic? Yep, it sure looks like it. I swear, you Negroes and this house called A-merry-ca. Don't worry, your black ass will be next. ) They were out over the weekend at Ground Zero to make their feelings known. And, as we get closer to election day here in A-merry-ca, I suspect that we will see more not less of them.

Where is George Bush when you need him? Wasn't it old George after 9/11 calling for tolerance and peace? That seemed like such a long time ago. That was before we got the brown guy with the Muslim sounding name occupying the people's house. I bet W wouldn't recognize his party now. They have party officials saying that the brown guy is a Muslim and party leaders saying that they will take him at his word. Huh? "Take him at his word"? OK, Mitch, I will take you at your word that you aren't a racist prick from Kentucky. See how that works?

"It is a disturbing discussion. The tone is ugly; the charges are vicious. And no Christian, Jew, or other religious person can feel safe if angry mobs -- even if only virtual -- are able to stop the activities of an unpopular faith.

There is no legal barrier to building the mosque and Muslim community center, called Cordoba House, in New York City. If the First Amendment means anything, the government cannot single out a particular religion for constructing a worship facility. The Free Exercise Clause would mean little if politicians could willy-nilly close down mosques -- or churches, synagogues, temples, and other religious sites.

Any attempt to block Cordoba House also would run into the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act. Passed by voice vote in the Republican Congress of 2000, the law targets state and local governments attempting to inhibit religious exercise through land use regulation. Senate sponsor Orrin Hatch (R-Utah) explained: "At the core of religious freedom is the ability for assemblies to gather and worship together."

That was well written Mr. Bandow, and it was riddled with facts. But unfortunately we are talking about religion here; something, that along with race, always stirs the passions and brings out the most deep-seated fears in even the most seemingly sane person in A-merry-ca.

If you think I am lying, watch what happens on the anniversary of Dr. King's "I Have A Dream" speech in Washington D.C., this weekend. Glenn Beck will be there for a political/love the white race rally, (something he has every right to do) and just look in the faces of those people who will be there. Don't worry, if they look familiar it's because you have seen them before.

I was actually present for the King speech at the Lincoln Memorial.

I was a teenager, was part of one of the crews working on the capitol dome, and got caught in the crowd when I went to get the break time snacks. Almost got my ass fired, and everyone was mad because I'd GOTTEN the stuff, and the people around me helped themselves when I got caught in the crush. Every cent I made that week went to pay them back.

Odd that you wrote this blog today. I had a VA appointment with two of my doctors, and both of these are from the "mid east", one from Syria (he is not moslem, he is a maronite christian) the other is from Iraq, and is a moslem.

These guys are worried, and worried a lot.

They both said the same things to me (my appointments seemed to consist of being a sounding board for their fears): What do we have to do? What do Americans want from us? What will happen to us?

All I could say was that the loud ones weren't the only ones with an opinion, and there were people who sympathised with them.

The old song is right, "a hard rai's gonna fall".

    Bur when...?

After these MoFo get a toe-hold, they will demand the acceptance of Sharia Law/Courts as they have done in Europe.

  3. Nsangoma, There have already instituted Sharia courts in Britain.

Who suffer the most from Sharia Law? Muslim women.
The most intriguing thing is that under Sharia Law,they have the power to issue fatwas even against non-Muslims.
We are heading into some very dangerous times.
Many non-Muslims do not understand that as foolish as it sounds and notwithstanding anything of substance is happening throughout the Muslism world, Muslims zealots are convinced that the future of mankind and our destiny lie in Islam.

We have been "next" for centuries. So what else is new? What I see are Blacks thinking for themselves and standing up for WHAT THEY BELIEVE IN, and Mr. Field can't stand it, because they don't think like him. Poor guy...this must be very painful for you. Well, it'll be over soon.

Jody, thanks for joining the rest of us in the sane universe. Who Black folks can stand by and support obvious bigotry shows that we as a people have lost our way. Marcus, Malcolm and Martin are turning over in their graves right now -- Black folks in the 21st Century joining in with white race-baiters in a new millennium lynching. First Muslims (as we don't all have at least one convert in our family) then immigrants and gays. Replace the words gay, Muslim or immigrant with 'black' and its Jim Crow rhetoric.

Actually. Poorly written. Why? Because the writer, like you and a million other willfully blind people, believes the issue boils down to RELIGION. As if islam is ONLY a religion. As we know, it is the religion and the government of muslims. They bring it with them wherever they go.

Why did these clowns plan to name the Manhattan mosque the Cordoba House? Do you know the significance?

In the year 711 Cordoba was CONQUERED by a muslim army. A few years later it was declared a provincial capital and attached to the caliphate of Damascus.

Thus the Cordoba name signifies a muslim conquest of a region that eventually fell under islamic control. The name reveals the hopes and dreams of muslims.

  27. Hey bruthah FN...

    Fear is a spirit.
It is a spirit that God did not give to us.
And self-discipline, self-control and love are our protection from fear?

The bible speaks about fear and those who prescribe to it's delusional powers. I'm glad WP fear a black country. The bible tells what you fear shall come to pass. If you have confidence in your beliefs, then you don't live in fear. You ask(pray) and God blesses you with your request. If you live in fear, so shall that fear consume you. So I hope that all these people continue to fear a colorful American, cause that's exactly what they're going to get. If you need ref. Check out the story of Job. He was afraid something would happen to his kids, and something did happen to his kids.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity(fear) but of power and of love and of a calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

Should American citizens who are Muslims be deported to Muslim majority nations?

Should the Constitution just be altered with an asterisk that says "None of the following applies to any Muslims"

If the name "Cordoba House" is understood to reveal the hopes and dreams of Muslims what are we to make of all the places named after Mad Anthony Wayne? Obviously that must show whites celebrating the extermination of Indians and enslavement of Blacks. A truly devilish people they must be to honor such a man of violence who owned slaves..

How do you think a couple of million people are going to force over 86 million others to abandon their religions (or lack there of) and a couple of hundred years of their evolving principles of separation of church and state? The bible isn't taught in public schools for pete's sake... how do you see the Koran magically being implemented?

People who live in America know that one of the basic premises is we are a nation of immigrants. We are a nation of peoples who understand that what makes us strong is understanding that our differences make us beautiful and our commonalities we share makes us strong. Any group that isolates itself from the larger American culture does not gain power. And every wave of immigrants have generationally adapted to American culture, not the other way around.

So, really, what are you afraid of? I live with, work with, ride the bus with, eat with am friends with American Muslims. Not once, in any of those interactions, has any Muslim asked/demanded/forced/pleaded with me to accede to their law, their custom, their religion. And not one has threatened me for not.

This is America. People who come here to live understand that the adaptation is to American principles, American laws. With each new wave of "the other" this has been true, and I don't see how that is gonna change.

  32. Nosnapz you're spreading a pretty standard lie about what Cordoba house means. Did you get that from Fox news?

Cordoba was the last place in Spain where Muslims, Christians and Jews lived together in relative religious freedom til the last century. It's not a symbol of conquest it's a symbol of living together.

Perhaps you prefer Christian Spain where the inquisition burned Jews at the stake? Where all the science and learning that flourished under Afro-Muslim rule was tossed on a bonfire?

The bigots opposing Cordoba House are brothers under the skin with that inquisition. I hope you enjoy your nice juicy stake.

  33. ish, you wrote:

Nosnapz you're spreading a pretty standard lie about what Cordoba house means.

Lie? No. Incontestable historic FACT. A fact you dislike, and not the only fact about muslims in Spain, but nonetheless, a fact.

Did you get that from Fox news?

Every history book about Spain includes this FACT.

Cordoba was the last place in Spain where Muslims, Christians and Jews lived together in relative religious freedom til the last century. It's not a symbol of conquest it's a symbol of living together.

Hey bonehead, throughout muslim history every non-muslim living in a muslim-controlled country was forced to live as part of the "dhimmitude" -- the second or third class of citizens who were subjected to the muslim version of Jim Crow laws and restrictions.

Perhaps you prefer Christian Spain where the inquisition burned Jews at the stake?

Perhaps YOU and your willfully blind fellow dupes should recognize that 500 years ago Christianity took stock of itself, as did the European governments under its sway.

Out of the self examination came one of history's greatest advances in the philosophy of government --

-- Separation of Church and State --
-- a principle that violates the essence of islam. The religion/government of islam will NEVER divide the two functions. Even Iraq, if it holds, will do little to separate religion from lawmaking. The Koran will remain the principle legislative guide.

Where all the science and learning that flourished under Afro-Muslim rule was tossed on a bonfire?

As the Western World has shown over the last 500 years, it rejected religious authority and went whole hog into science and technology, something the islamic world has NEVER done and will NEVER do.

Moreover, the expanding muslim world, notably the Ottoman Empire, was parasitic. Muslims themselves were then, as they are now, scientifically incompetent.

Their advances in science came mainly through conquering others who had learned a thing or two. But the learning was appropriated by the muslim conquerors.

Meanwhile, much of that early science was noting more than alchemy. Do you know what alchemy is? Probably not.

Anyway, the muslims get credit for SPREADING knowledge. They did it by forcing much of the world's population to speak and write Arabic. Working in a common language made it possible to get the scientific word around.

But muslims have NEVER been inventors or innovators.

In the early 8th century, The Christian Church of Saint Vincent sat upon the foundation of a Roman temple. Then the Moors (or Arabs) came, tore down St. Vincent's and built "The Great Mosque" to commemorate their victory over the Christians in Southern Spain. This conquest of the territory signified the Islamic supremacy over the Christians. And the Cordoba Mosque became the second most important house of worship, after Mecca, in the Muslim world.

When the Christians re-conquered Southern Spain in the 1236, they built a Cathedral inside the Mosque so they would never forget the history of what had happened years before. Throughout Southern Spain in the cities of Seville and Granada, most of the churches were also converted to mosques during the Muslim occupation of Andalucia. I spent a considerable amount of time in Southern Spain and have been to the mosque/cathedral in Cordoba. When you see the size and scope of the Mezquita, it is crystal clear what message the Muslims were sending to the conquered Christians.

Southern Spain is not the only place where mosques are built over churches and synagogues to signify Islam's dominance over Judaism and Christianity.

The Dome of the Rock was built on the ruins of Judiasm's holiest site, the Temple Mount, in Jerusalem. The Al-Aqsa Mosque was built on the southern end of the Temple Mount and over the Basilica of St. Mary of Justinian. The Grand Mosque of Damascus was erected over the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. There are hundred of examples of Islam's need to show dominance over the West.

So I ask? Why is this project being called the Cordoba Initiative here in lower Manhattan? If Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the Cordoba Initiative, was interested in building bridges between the Muslims and the West, why would they name the mosque something so incendiary?

Apparently, some people are now referring to the mosque/cultural center as Park51 because of the imagery created by the name Cordoba. However, if you visit Imam Rauf's website, the project is still referred to as the Cordoba Initiative."

If these Muslims are pissing people off just by accident, I don't see how they could have done a better job on purpose.

I'm sure racist cracker Pam Geller and her gang of Republican Zionist racebaiting pigs would enjoy your version tremendously. 58. There is an excellent chance this mosque project will collapse.

Why? Funding. Inasmuch as the FBI will trace the source of every penny, there is a good chance the usual terror financiers will steer clear of this project.

As a result, it's unlikely the other muslims of the world -- the NY City cab drivers, convenience-store owners and rug merchants -- are prepared to cough up the estimated $100 million.

That's a lot of dough for ONE NY City project. That much money can fund a lot of muslim mischief perpetrated in less visible ways, like teaching radical islam at the existing mosques in the US.

  60. ish,

There's 1,400 years of muslim history showing that muslims expanded around the known world through conquest.

That was how it was during the Age of Conquest. Such was the world in that era. But the enlightened world began to move beyond the old methods.

Unfortunately, for muslims, islam itself is incapable of modernization.

Since muslims believe the Koran is the infallible word of their crazy god AND the Koran is the primary document on which all islamic countries turn, there's no chance of an Enlightenment or Reformation occurring among the screwballs who love muhammad.

Moreover, as the Koran explicitly states, it's good for muslims to lie about their intentions when speaking to non-muslims.

Where is this purported "bombed out abortion clinic"?

Not in the US. Or maybe you were suggesting a site in South Central LA, where a row of stores, including an abortion clinic, were burned in the riots.

However, you know in that case there had been a storefront baptist church in the same commercial strip.

Wouldn't the same arguments against the mosque apply to that?

What arguments? You think there'd be public opposition to building a church near an abortion clinic?

Is there a destroyed abortion clinic that's a symbol of Christian anti-abortion wrath? NO.

Meanwhile, if you were attempting to make an analogous argument, the opposition to the church would have to start with the people who were angered by the destruction of the abortion clinic.

Those people would be the patients at the abortion clinic. Not the people hoping to build the church.

According to NAF, since 1977 in the United States and Canada, property crimes committed against abortion providers have included 41bombings, 173 arsons, 91 attempted bombings or arsons, 619 bomb threats, 1630 incidents of trespassing, 1264 incidents of vandalism, and 100 attacks with butyric acid ("stink bombs").[10]

The first clinic arson occurred in Oregon in March 1976 and the first bombing occurred in February 1978 in Ohio.[16] More recent incidents have included:[5]

December 25, 1984: An abortion clinic and two physicians' offices in Pensacola, Florida were bombed in the early morning of Christmas Day by a quartet of young people (Matt Goldsby, Jimmy Simmons, Kathy Simmons, Kaye Wiggins) who later called the bombings "a gift to Jesus on his birthday."[

October 1999: Martin Uphoff set fire to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, causing US$100 worth of damage. He was later sentenced to 60 months in prison.

May 28, 2000: An arson at a clinic in Concord, New Hampshire on resulted in damage estimated at US$20,000. The case remains unsolved.

September 30, 2000: A Catholic priest drove his car into the Northern Illinois Health Clinic after learning that the FDA had approved the drug RU-486. He pulled out an ax before being forced to the ground by the owner of the building who fired two warning shots from a shotgun.

June 11, 2001: An unsolved bombing at a clinic in Tacoma, Washington destroyed a wall, resulting in US$6000 in damages.

July 4, 2005: A clinic Palm Beach, Florida was the target of an arson. The case remains open.

December 12, 2005: Patricia Hughes and Jeremy Dunahoe threw a Molotov cocktail at a clinic in Shreveport, Louisiana. The device missed the building and no damage was caused. In August 2006, Hughes was sentenced to six years in prison, and Dunahoe to one year. Hughes claimed the bomb was a “memorial lamp” for an abortion she had had there.

September 13, 2006 David McMenemy of Rochester Hills, Michigan crashed his car into the Edgerton Women's Care Center in Davenport, Iowa. He then doused the lobby in gasoline and then started a fire. McMenemy committed these acts in the belief that the center was performing abortions, however Edgerton is not an abortion clinic.

April 25, 2007: A package left at a women's health clinic in Austin, Texas contained an explosive device capable of inflicting serious injury or death. A bomb squad detonated the device after evacuating the building. Paul Ross Evans (who had a criminal record for armed robbery and theft) was found guilty of the crime.

May 9, 2007: An unidentified person deliberately set fire to a Planned Parenthood clinic in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

December 6, 2007: Chad Altman and Sergio Baca were arrested for the arson of Dr. Curtis Boyd's clinic in Albuquerque. Altman’s girlfriend had scheduled an appointment for an abortion at the clinic.

January 22, 2009 Matthew L. Derosia, 32, who was reported to have had a history of mental illness [28] rammed a SUV into the front entrance of a Planned Parenthood clinic in St. Paul, Minnesota.

I am intelligent enough to know who my real enenmies are.
And since white women as a whole aren't the black man's enemy, I don't see why the white man is mine.
If some black men have a beef with white men, they can take it on with them.
All of this is why I have said before, some blacks only want to be contrarians to Whitey therefore they simply need a column of soldiers and this is where many foolish black women fall in to become numbers for the movement.

On the other hand none of these men want to protect and defend black women.

Then by all means, I am happy to join forces with whites , Hispanic, Asians, and every other ethnic group that respect the rights of women on this planet because I have more in common with them
No one is going to tell me that this is a black thing, because it is obvious that many black people are not ready to and cannot defend themselves because too many have become experts at whinning and seeing shadows or things that are not there.

Continue jigging for others and living in fear of the past because of the dumb theory that if others have problems, black people too and ignore the fact that you have the God given capacity to solve your problems because no one else is going to do it, or is really intertested.

The story has been front-page news for several days. Nevertheless, it's true that few care because this story is just another story in the ongoing tragedy of Africa.

Blacks blame the problems of Africa on whites. No doubt the narrative of this rape story will begin in some tale of colonialism and how that started it all.

But that's another way of saying blacks have no capacity for knowning right from wrong.

How old do you suppose the black "soldiers" were? Most were probably under 20. Most sub-Sahara African nations are nations of children. The median age in most of those nations is under 20, and in one or two cases it is 16.

    UTS-

Yes, I despise woefully, male-identified bassackwards, Black women. They typically co-sign the craziest most counter-productive mess on the PLANET. However, I don't hate them because they perform a VERY valuable service to the sane Black Women that are committed to living the best possible lives. As are the non blk women that come to collect black males. If they could hold said black males in higher rates THAT would be greatly appreciated. I am NOT Jill Scott! It troubles me not in the least when I see these couples. LOL!

IF Black Women that have chosen to function as mules are busy humoring you and your counter-productive foolishness, they get the suffering that accompanies such stupidity, instead of the sane Black Women. LOL! Again, I THANK THEM for their services. I pray they hold their posts. When you and others like you feel effeminate, weak, frustrated, angry, abusive or violent as a result of your lack of white male privilege, you can take all that out on THEM! And AGAIN, I thank them for their services. I cannot thank them enough.

I don't think any woman wants a man that will follow HER plan. I think most women want a man WITH a plan. What "plan" do you see Black Men, collectively speaking, organizing to execute in your alternate universe? Hmmmm?

Black women, like me, that realize they have options, always have had options...

(the laws preventing interracial marriage were designed to prevent WHITE MEN from marrying BLACK WOMEN. It seems everyone BUT the black male understands that wealth is transferred through the women... The Negro male was completely dominated and understood he had better not even try it)

...Black Women that REFUSE to be hoodwinked into grading Black Men on a curve and accepting FAR LESS than they should EVER consider if they and their children are to fare well for the next generations---UNlike that wife of yours, didn't she marry down to secure the "catch" you are?---are doing just fine and enjoying the blessings of their femininity. BOTH genders have gender capital! LOL!

This message is not an indictment against ALL Black Men. It is the spanking that boy from the hood UTS begged for...

I am not FP but I approve of this message. LOL!

  111. A friend's Jewish wife had the following comment on the mosque: "They have every right to do this, but they shouldn't want to."

I agree. Having the right to do something doesn't make it wise. Building that mosque in that place will offend a lot of people, including many with no particular problems with Muslims. They should pick another spot; it would show class, discretion, and sensitivity, qualities sorely lacking in America these days.

  112. Grinder, we typically agree, but I have to a definite no on your position. By these folks backing down, they give the Right Wing goon squads exactly what they want -- the ability to push Muslims and anyone else the don't like out to sea.

As has been mentioned numerous times, there is a Mosque and Catholic Church and a Strip Club within a few blocks of ground zero. This is a fake contreversy is drummed up by Right wingers with no real solutions to our actual problems.

If a woman disagrees with Steve, she hates men, is a lesbian and cannot find a man.
If a woman is unmarried , it is because she is ugly, a lesbian and no man wants her.

    Zaida-

SPEAK on the game! It is for this reason I said, I am prepared to be as forgiving of WM as Black Men are of WW. LOL! I recognize the game.

Interestingly enough, quite a few Black Women don't. Despite history bearing witness to the fact that Black Men have no problem putting Black Women and Black Children on the frontlines to fight for equal rights and once access is granted, take a peak at the conditions of Black Women and Children and tell me there has been any type of provision and protection granted by way of appreciation?

Zaida, I often say that I have no permanent enemies. I have permanent INTERESTS. All day I will continue to be about the business of protecting MY interests as a Black Woman.

Also, please know that Black Women in America that live in the so-called "black community" are experiencing Congo, Rwanda, and Darfur already. And quite a few of these misguided fools will refuse protection. I am thinking of the female idiots in Chicago that don't want the national guard to stop the murder and mayhem. They want to march with posters and MISinterpret the Bible to reinforce their foolishness. Uh what?

Congo in America is on a smaller scale but it is the same havoc maintained by "no snitching". Daily I read of the gang rape of black women and black girls in THIS country. Havoc that is reaked even on the mentally impaired and elderly. Much like during slavery, dishonest black males would have Black Women re-direct our attention to white rape...as if it torments/destroys less if the perpetrator is black.

I mention slavery because back when I was feeling more patient and actually dialoguing with the woefully male-identified protectors of black manhood females; one such mule starting screaming about all the rape de ebol wmens had committed against black women. When I asked her if she thought black males may also have raped black women considering there was no protection of black women at the time---I watched her mentals fry. It had never occurred to her. When I asked if she was aware of the rape statistics today and if she had bothered to see WHO rapes black women with impunity now...crickets. When I asked if in all of her sista soldiering if she had ever bothered to read, listen, and hear the voices of other "race" women and get their takes...crickets. When I asked if she was aware Black Panther Eldridge Cleaver PRACTICED raping Black Women so he could efficiently rape White women...crickets. I asked her to please guess which women he went to jail for raping and when he felt reformed and apologetic who he apologized to? To make it easier for her I let her know that Black Women was not an option for the answer.

Zaida, I stand in solidarity. Btw, you may not want to hold your breath waiting for Field to do anything other than take his little digs at BW. You mean to tell me at this rally there were no Negro males he could feature?Quite a few black males only want to share the struggle and blame. They get quiet as church mice plus MIA when it is time to share responsibility, concern, or the wins! Folks send him links all the time. When I sent him one about the Dunbar Village atrocity (Congo in FL) and asked him to do a post...crickets and no post. To be fair, I got the same response from Oprah and Tyra; even as Reverend Hot Comb Sharpton held press conferences advocating for the...BLACK MALE PERPETRATORS. It was around that time I decided to regularly and routinely dent the endangered, badly in need of protection, black male sacred cow. I won't even attempt to pretend to be apologetic.

  117. I have question for everyone.

Why is if a black woman is strong, straight-forward, and stands her ground in her beliefs she is labeled with negative adjectives like bitter, belligerent, domineering, and other negative labels? On the other hand, women in different color groups are labeled forthright, courageous, and a winner who have the same characteristics. Why are they lifted up with praises and positive labels but black women don't rate the same labels?

Black women are not freaks of nature! They have the same physical anatomy, same wants and needs, same reproductive organs as all other women of different color groups.

I am not a feminist either, but then everyone who has been posting on here for a long time should know that. Also, they should know by now I love my black people...male, female, adult, teens, and children. So you cannot label me with that feminist label.

Nevertheless, I've sat back and watch for a pretty good while now, black women being degraded and called the "B" word and even stronger than that.

I'm sorry but I have to speak up for my black sistahs because I too am a black woman who is also a black sistah. First of all. Laaudio is a highly intelligent, strong black woman, who stands her ground in her beliefs. So, are AB and MeandMyMicroscope. Why do they have to be labeled with negative adjectives all the time. Do they not have names which they go by? Frankly speaking, if a man was to call me the "B" word to my face, he would be nominating me for Surgeon General and he'd have to write it on paper because he would be minus a tongue.

I'm not through with what I have to say either, because next I have a question regarding my black brothas too and then I am through.

No man likes for a woman to challenge their manhood. Especially, a strong black man. He is your brotha because he belongs to the same black tribe so to speak.

We should be lifting each other up because we all go through enough mess thrown our way from racist folks on a daily basis. We as black people should have each others back and not be at each others throat.

    Maria-

White women are NOT treated with the same hostility that Black Women are. Period. Yes, you will be called a B. You will be the target of sexism. But there is a level of protection that is built in for White women. Even if you are a comedian, if you get too far out of order as it relates to White women, there WILL be decent White men that get that situation right together.

However, since the protectors of Black Womanhood are on an extended vacation, folks get WAY out of order/pocket as it relates to Black Women. In fact, if there are folks disrespecting Black Women you can count on a few black males to publicly co-sign the insults.

Maria, since I am not newly visiting this plantation I think you KNOW this. You are doing that annoying White woman lost in the woods routine and attempting re-direct the conversation and somehow make it about White women, which is obviously what White feminists think makes a woman a woman--the whiteness. Zaida and Anony, you women are on FIRE. I can't even begin to copy/paste and reply to everything you said that was truly moving!

And yes Anony you are so right (but stop talking too much hard truth girl), black women were also raped by black males during slavery. Why wouldn't that too be obvious. Many black males did it through anger, frustration and self hatred. Many people don't think about that. I mentioned that once on a blog years ago and I've been dodging knives and bullets ever since. smh.

I'm should have to be anymore afraid and "angered" toward the "ebol white man" than I should be towards the black man. I don't have the strength anymore, just keep Steve, Hathor and Jody away from me please.

Speaking of Jody, unless you are a black lesbian please don't use the historical race bating and gay discrimination as a pawn to inflict guilt or hypocrisy towards my personal perspective on this non-black Muslim issue. Do not chastise me because I choose not to expend energy on a group/society that would readily abuse, oppress and even enslave me, a black woman based on gender AND my black skin. LAA, "What, someone disrespecting MLK? Will the non-black muslim community come out to march with you?"

LAA, this is an excellent point that should be obvious, but seems to be hidden right in front of some black faces. THERE WILL BE NO NON-BLACK MUSLIMS, INCLUDING NO MEXICANS OR JEWS AT THE MLK/BECK EVENT....

And, has anyone noticed that Field has given the mosque at Grand Zero far more attention than the Mr. Beck's mockery of MLK and Blacks? And he calls himself a FN? That's laughable.

Of course, that doesn't matter to Field Freedom Fighters who fight for non-black Jihadist Muslims. Blacks are 'conditioned' to fight alone without expecting support from anyone like the non-Black Muslims, Mexicans, Jews, non-black Latinos, Asians, East Indians, and Native Indians and any non-Blacks.

Despite that, House Negroes like Field, LAC, Kid, Granny, Rippa, Hathor, and UTS are right there on the 'front lines'--ready to sacrifice themselves AND the entire Black race for others. And I say, "fuck them!"

House Negroes like them make me sick. It's times like this that I wish I could divorce myself from the entire Black race, but I can't.

I must have really fucked up in a past lifetime! Well, I am going to do my best not to screw up in this lifetime...cause being part of a race that coninually sacrifices itself for others who don't give a damn about them is BULLSHIT. They are bound to be 'losers' in the end.

Again, thanks for bringing an important point to everyone's conscience.... Not that it will make any difference to a bunch of HNs like Field and his disciples...cause they have no conscience.

Wandering around calling strange black males your "brother" and affording them any measure of gentleness/kindness will get you exploited AND killed. And guess what? NO ONE WILL CARE. This is true if you are female OR male. Notice how folks just refuse to treat black on black crime like the crisis it is?

    LAC, I agree.

Here's another perspective I feel isn't being considered.

There are thousands of young Muslim American men born in this country that we have more than likely, with this opposition to a supposed ground-zero mosque, radicalized.

If they were fence straddlers before, we've suddenly pushed them over to the extremist side as politicians fall over each other, and protestors take it to the streets, to politicize, and socialize this building project.

We have been told: Our young men have died by the thousands to liberate Iraqis to give them a taste of the freedoms we enjoy, but in the democratic Mecca of freedom of justice--the United States--we tell Muslims, yes, you have every right to build the Islamic Community Center, but it's ill-advised, because we hold all muslims responsible for 9-11, not just the terrorists.

With our actions we have signaled to the Muslim world that all of Islam is guilty for 9-11, successfully pitting us against them, all 1.5 billion, or so.

I can't think of a bigger boneheaded thing to do! We have possibly extended the War Against Terror, not brought it to conclusion with our xenophobic, narrow-minded, bigoted, anti-Constitutional rhetoric and actions.

I'm more appalled that some blacks have inserted themselves into this charade, as though we're the love children of America. We're still her children, but not any she wishes to acknowledge, and would have aborted had it been possible.

Here's a glimpse of the madness that's gripping this nation now, when protestors near ground zero believed that a black man on his way to work at ground zero was mistaken for a Muslim.

This diversion from the real issues facing our nation now, politically driven and socially inflamed, may have set the stage for a new round of terrorist attacks against this country--and this time, the terrorist won't point to the policies with which we embrace the middle east, but our misguided, folly-laden actions against Muslims right here at home.

What Muslim, after seeing this horrific display of anti-Muslim sentiment, would want to cooperate with the American government in its efforts to defeat possible radical elements in their midst?

  138. Anony, and another thing you said earlier, I just want to elaborate. Black men are the only race of men who take their resources and uplift others. Too much to get into. Other groups and other non-black mothers especially plant this in the heads of their boy children "MARRY YOUR OWN KIND" they do it for a reason.

I have said similar to this on this very blog over a year ago. As a black woman, if my fiance was a rich baron and had money to dispense, I would make sure some inner city black school/organization somewhere gets all the supplies they need. How many Asian, Latin or white women married to rich or moderately secured black men would do anything remotely close that? LOL.

But this is one of the main reasons why I DO NOT support black men who date or marry non-black women. People like Steve thinks its personal jealousy, LOL.

I refuse to fund any black man (or anyone for that matter) who stands as a show piece to tell the world he does not desire or think black women who look like him are not worthy of love or even financial security like the non-black woman he totes on his side.

    Quid pro quo.

Granny, as naive as you'd like to paint her, is doing something right, she's still here, and still standing.

Not every setting is the same, and your brush is too broad. Not every black man is out to kill you, and not all are disrespectful of black womanhood, or black motherhood.

You don't have to, of course, but unless you want to be lumped in with every other anon here posting, I'd get a handle. It's not that hard!

BD, "There are thousands of young Muslim American men born in this country that we have more than likely, with this opposition to a supposed ground-zero mosque, radicalized."

OMG! Let's change our position because we certainly don't want to be responsible for radicalizing young Muslims. Why are Americans responsible for radicalized terrorists that are destroying lives?

BD, thanks for that piece of information. We should all be REALLY afraid now.

Maybe we need to rethink this freedom of religion and make exceptions? Either that or surrender immediately to the ways of Jihadists terrorists BEFORE they become radicalized...

According to your comment freedom of religion for 'all' religions can be a radical dangerous thing when you disagree with a religion like Islam. It could lead to our peril. Thanks for the info. I am sure many Americans will ponder it.

Hmmmm. I wonder what will come of it?

I think you're down on all of humanity, not just blacks. You can't be too happy given that hate-laced rant of yours.

Actually, we should all be "REALLY afraid now."

This country, indeed this world, is in for the ride of its life (literally!), and if there's anything you hold dear, anything that you cherish, cherish it more, and hold it closer.

    La-

LOL! My friend, with my last breath, I am going to tell it! For real. I owe that much to the women that went before me and the ones coming after me. I don't take lightly the sacrifices and suffering of my ancestors. Black women in America have paid a STEEP price for me to be able to live as I do today.

The mess of the so-called black community will continue until more Black men come to their senses and get in the business of handling man business. As long as black males are perpetual runaways...running away from the truth...responsibility...accountability...education...IT'S A WRAP for them and any woman that ties herself (and God forbid her children) to this type of male.

The human rights movement, misnamed the civil rights movement, was to give Black Men access to education, opportunities and resources to uplift/provide for/protect the interests of Black People. It was NOT to give them access to White and non blk women. Somehow black males have taken "do for self" to mean something COMPLETELY UNrelated to the original message. In the wake of the movement, quite a few black males have ripped a page from the white supremacy handbook and treat Black Women and Black Children with greater contempt than any White person would ever think to.

My commitment to speak is strengthened when I look and see Black women behaving like breeders just as the days of old-only it is black males doing it now while we write passes for them and demonize the women that are not recognizing the game and refusing to play by rules that don't promote their best interests. I wish I would be quiet when so many can't seem to figure it out.

I might scream if I see/hear another black male swearing that he "loves" Black Women while pointing to his baby mamas as evidence of that love. On second thought, I will maintain my composure because the look I get when I suggest that his baby mamas only prove that he loves SEXING Black Women is worth the price of admission. And since men don't really listen that well when the speaker is a woman, I would rather speak to the baby mamas and those women that haven't demonstrated that they don't recognize their worth by becoming baby mamas. Let the menfolk handle the menfolk business.

La, I agree with you. Though I am happy when others come to collect black males, I feel in NO WAY obligated to subsidize these women however. LOL! Remember when folks were trying to MAKE Tiger Woods claim black and got so bent out of shape when he married his white woman? She in my opinion has earned EVERY dime on the other side of dealing with his madness. Notice too that on the other side of dealing with his craziness, that "docile" White woman was "challenging his manhood" with a golf club? LOL! Most folks don't take kindly to disrespect. Would I buy anything his big face is selling? NO, not ever. It is not just those in interracial relationships either.

There are REAL black black haters of Black women that are married to Black women that I would not spit on if their behinds were on fire. Hughley and Rock come to mind. The rappers that ushered in the disrespect of Black women to a beat, Dre, Cube, Snoop et al will die of starvation before I make it possible for them to eat. I pray I live to see the day when more Black women and girls act accordingly without giving a flip about "hurt little feelings". I would rather someone else deal with hurt feelings than me dealing with hampered freedom. We have more power than we acknowledge and wield as Black women.

360+5- At NO time have I said "every" or "all" black males. Your assertion that not "every" or "all black males, etc is unecessary.

For my journey, I prefer to err on the side of caution. My risks are calculated. Those moving through life like it is checkers when it is really chess, usually come up short.

Unfortunately, the rapist, murderers, robbers, and other evil ones don't LOOK like evil ones. Therefore, until you DEMONSTRATE that it is wise to trust and treat you kindly; until you demonstrate that you understand the difference between kindness and weakness, and demonstrate that you understand and operate according to the principal of reciprocity, I will proceed with calculated cautious optimism.

    Maria-

    You said:

"wow, this was really good for a laugh! thank you!

so there are no black feminists or feminists of color? just white? that's a new one on me."

When you are done cackling, try to focus. I never said there were no Black/WOC feminists. IF you actually bothered to listen to what these non white women are saying, you will see that quite a few have said precisely what I pointed out about our melanin challenged feminist "sisters".

White women want Black women to focus on our gender. Black men want Black women to focus on our color. It is in the best interests of BOTH of these groups for Black women to engage in such foolishness. Now again, I direct your attention to the Shirley Chisholm documentary. Should you follow through with that suggestion, you will get a chance to see White feminists, Gloria Steinem leading the way, demonstrating EXACTLY the forked tongue behavior I called out before.

So again, you take that "can't we all just get along" message to your fellow White women. You will be so busy trying to get their buy in you won't have time to presume to address Black women AT ALL.

You mentioned HRC, she too, did exactly the same thing in recent history. White women routinely default to white supremacy when it serves their purposes, reaping the benefits and throwing White men under the bus when convenient. I pay attention. You should try doing the same and being honest or at the very least...quiet.

You are right. But people were calling for "moderation" so you get lost comments that hurt the 'continuity' of the comment section.

I am really sorry that Field gave in to those jerks. They don't care about Field's blog, just their own selfish need to control. Hell, the ones who complain the most don't show up have the time anyway. And when they do, that's the first thing they complain about.

Eventually, this continuation of lost comments and moderation will become too frustrating and tiring- and people will leave.

  168. As has been mentioned numerous times, there is a Mosque and Catholic Church and a Strip Club within a few blocks of ground zero. This is a fake contreversy is drummed up by Right wingers with no real solutions to our actual problems.

I agree that it's a fake controversy, which is to say that I don't really care one way or the other. But now it's out there. The first amendment gives the Muslims the right to be there, period. If they insist on being there, I support the first amendment, which means I support their right to be there.

But that doesn't mean I think they ought to exercise that right. One of the ways this country has been able to avoid the sort of religious wars that are seen elsewhere in the world has been for the various sects to exercise self restraint. If the Muslims were to listen to this lifelong civil libertarian, I'd be suggesting that they build a mosque somewhere else in New York.

360 you DID make gender an issue by assuming in your comment that you were addressing a female. Oops is right. At least be honest about it.

Thank you decent male Anon for standing up and speaking. Be warned and prepared, you will be called "whipped', "homo" and many other names that will call into question your manhood. Quite a few are working overtime to make the exact OPPOSITE of manhood the new standard. They will prevail unless more men act according to your example.

Maria, are you STILL commenting and dialoguing with Anons? Somehow I knew you would. LOL!

Yes, WW ROUTINELY throw WM under the bus. It is the Black male comedian and the White female comedian that denigrates the females and males of their gender with impunity. Since you are comedian obsessed, check it out. Don't take my word for it.

But the reality is WW throw pretty much everyone under the bus. It is for this reason I rejected your Pollyanna deceit earlier. You got the nerves to do it. I got the nerves to tell you just what I think about it. You will be alright.

Ever notice that you don't see WW screaming about the lunacy of a woman needing to be "blonde and blue eyed" in order to be "beautiful"? WW have NO problem with the notion of "beauty" excluding non white women. These same women will all of a sudden become INCLUSIVE OF ALL WOMEN when WM speak to the entitled annoying behavior of WW that has them mail ordering brides. And at that point WM go under the bus because they have a "fetish" or they are "pedophiles" or some other negative. See, SOMETHING has to be wrong with a WM IF he wants a non white woman.

And WHERE are the WW that set the record straight when folks act like White Supremacy was the brainchild of and executed solely by the WM? Hmmm? Silence=WM under the bus. Get it now?

Keep cackling...it is what it is...and you claim to know who I am while you lack the ability to see and know YOURSELF. It is YOU that are the comedienne, and you are not even REMOTELY funny.
