That Katrina thing was Obama's fault, and the right wing conjures up a racial lie.

So there is this poll out that found that Louisiana republicans split as to who is to blame for the hurricane Katrina disaster. 28 percent of them blame George Bush and 29 percent of them blame president Obama. Then there is the other 44 percent who are not sure exactly who to blame. [Source]

This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. But these are the same people who have made folks like Ted Cruz and Rand Paul political rock stars. The same people who, when polled, said that interracial marriages are wrong, and who consider president Obama a racist because he got his children another dog that happens to be black.

Honestly, this takes the phrase "low information voter" to a whole different level.

Finally, some last words on that killing in Oklahoma. The one where FOX NEWS tried to create a racial conflict by lying about the facts in the case.

Hats off to Tommy Christopher:

"On Wednesday morning, Fox and Friends aired a segment in which they ostentatiously wondered why Revs. Sharpton and Jackson “haven’t come forward and said anything,” and even though they displayed a photo of the three suspects, which clearly showed that one of them is a white male, they quoted an Allen West tweet that said “Three black teens shoot white jogger.”
The Daily Caller actually improved on F&F. Initially, they ran a photo of the wrong Michael Jones, and issued this “correction”:
This, of course, changes everything. Edwards and Luna are being charged with first-degree murder, whereas Jones is charged with “using a vehicle to facilitate the discharge of a weapon and accessory after the fact of murder in the first degree.”
There’s your angle, Rev. Al. The one with the lightest skin got the lightest charge. The one who looks the least like Obama will get the least punishment. Let the racebaiting begin.
Here’s the photo The Daily Caller originally ran, with the wrong Michael Jones:

A Duncan police source confirmed to Mediaite, Wednesday morning, that 17 year-old Michael Jones is not “the one with the lightest skin,” he is a white male. It is true that 15 year-old James Edwards and 16 year-old Chancey Luna have been charged, as adults, with first-degree murder, while Jones is charged as an accessory after the fact, but Jones is also reported to have said “I pulled the trigger” in court Tuesday:
As the boys appeared in an Oklahoma courtroom, a 17-year-old blurted out, “I pulled the trigger,” then wept after a judge told him that Tuesday’s hearing wasn’t the time or place to sort out the facts of the case.
The three teens allegedly shot and killed Chris Lane “for the fun of it,” as infuriating a motive as there is, but so far, there is no indication that race played a role in the selection of the victim, and unlike the Trayvon Martin killing, the alleged perpetrators in this crime were almost immediately arrested and charged. Like other crimes that have been posited as “double standards,” there is no factual basis for comparison, and no one has explained what, exactly, they would expect Rev. Al to say.

That there is a chance to continue the Zimmerman defense team’s contention that it is reasonable to profile young black men, an opportunity to present young black men as products of an inherently violent culture. That one of the suspects is white is a complicating factor that some, it appears, are choosing to ignore.

To be clear, their premise would be equally false if all three suspects were black, but the fact that they’ve chosen to ignore Michael Jones’ race indicates a commitment to that premise no matter what the facts say. The oldest of the three suspects, who declared in open court that he “pulled the trigger,” is a white male, so perhaps these conservative outlets ought to be praising Al Sharpton for not coming out and saying that the lesson here is for black kids not to hang around with white kids. If he did, he would be rightly condemned, but such a declaration would be no more absurd than the idea that he should weigh in on a tragedy that, thus far, appears to be taking as just a course as is possible.

There’s definitely something wrong with the people who killed Chris Lane, but it’s not the color of their skin."

"I want them to rot in hell". That was the sentiment of the deceased man's girlfriend.

Mam, I feel your pain, but there are a few other people who I would love to see rot right beside them.

Field, why do you make Cruz and Rand Paul wrong and not Obama? Do you not know who your enemies are?

Down South they don't like interracial marriages. You must not know much about the South. Ask Mrs Field, she'll tell you. And it doesn't matter what year it is or what you think 'should' be in 2013....IT ISN'T...You must learn to take life on life's terms, not yours.

This is not just Whites in the South, it's Whites everywhere in America. Know who your enemies are, Mr Field. Then you will let go of that dream that Negroes like you hope for: to be accepted by the wm. It ain't gonna happen, baby. All the blogging on FN isn't going to change that.

As a race we need to go on our knees and pray to GOD for help and guidance, because we sure as hell don't know where or what we are doing. Our priorities are so screwed up...NOW that is what is REALLY SAD!

Why must you always make this a racial thing when there wasn't any? When people are ready to die they aren't thinkning about who is White or Black, unless they are a bunch of black creeps in Duncan OK.

But this took place in Atlanta, where racism is the exception, not the rule.

  6. In my experience black sociopaths do their killing overwhelmingly within the black community just as white sociopaths primarily kill within their own community. That's because in a place as overwhelmingly racist & violent as America, crossing racial lines draws a lot more attention than just killing people does.

For instance if Trayvon Martin had been one of the 5 young black men murdered by his mirror image on an average day, we'd have never known his name. Just like we'd never have heard Mr. Lane's if his murderers had all been white.

Your argument is weak, like all liberal arguments. Everyone knows-even the Leftist of Left Liberals-know that this fellow Australian who was gunned down would drawn a severe reaction from the Australian government. "Color" has 'nothing' to do with it.

You shameful American cowboys are sick murderers and you feel completely justified. It's makes perfect sense why you love to make war all over the planet. You love killing people. But go ahead, 'Whitey' justify 'why' this killing of an Australian would never make news if an American White had pulled the trigger...you people are sick, you really are.

Who's to blame for Katrina, Bush or Obama? they both are. Bush is to blame for not responding fast enough and Obama is to blame for not following up with FEMA to make sure the people of NO got from the government what they should have. But we all know why that never happened: Obama just doesn't respond too well to Blacks. Hence Blacks New Orleans are screwed.Nevertheless, Blacks will still worship Obama like a God.

While I have a profound problem with your continued support for this Scoundrel/Opportunist-in-Chief, who NEVER had to be a Black President, but merely had to be the 2nd coming of precedent-setting FDR, by putting forth a 2nd New Deal, with both the BAILOUT and TARP as leverage (my mother, a Black woman, was a recipient of FDR's Cadet Nurses Corp [1941]), I do appreciate you keeping us informed on this matter because the Lamestream media will NOT do it.

Now! About this thing in the OK. First off, it is a damn shame. No one should have to enure that kind of stupidity. That said, I was wondering why the white boy wasn't charged with murder also. I was giving them a break, because I don't know OK law very well. Yet.

it has been my experience here, tat so-called accomplices get slammed too. But I need more info b4 I go there.

On October 15, 2009, President Barack Obama/GWB 2.0 and his teleprompter briefly stopped by New Orleans to give yet another empty speech to those whose lives were made legendarily barren by Hurricane Katrina. I never expected Obama to act sincerely or substantively. Long ago, Obama clearly exposed his apathy for impoverished and incessantly abused Katrina victims.

In 2007, on the subject of hurricane Katrina, Barack Obama stated that the rabidly racist and elitist administration of King Shrub/President-Select George W. Bush was
    “colorblind in its incompetence.”

I view that ludicrous statement as a blatant lie, typical of Obama’s vapid and routinely revisionist (though often simultaneously poetic) reflections. Color me AWAKE, unenthralled, and dejected! Hero, scholar, and sage Mumia Abu-Jamal said it best: “...a New Democrat is no different from an Old Republican." (June, 1993 - “Clinton Guillotines Guinier”- Live From Death Row)

Politicos never become noble or humane simply because they suddenly become president. Obama’s horribly vapid performance in New Orleans lived down to my expectations. Even the most mindless Obama Nazis were appalled at his repulsively phony and meaningless responses to the embattled attendees who had nothing better to do than entertain Obama’s brutal folly on tour.

    10/23/09

Gabriel Bordenave is courageous and wise. He challenged and exposed President Barack Obama/GWB 2.0 by posing just one real question at a recent rally in New Orleans . Obama shocked droves of naïve fans as he revealed the rabid elitist that he has always been beneath his posing as “The One”.

Bordenave refused to drink Obama’s rock star tour Kool-Aid and gave us all a raw and rare glimpse into the parched arrogance and choking amorality that rules all of Obama’s hoaxes. Clearly, Bordenave is not an Obama Nazi. Amazingly, he managed to transform two former Obama Nazis. See the refreshing new truths penned by columnists Jim Mitchell and Eugene Robinson below.

No lie can live forever. No hoax can stroll eternally. All of the Obama Nazis will wake up. That awakening will be fatally belated for millions. Millions of them will not and should not be saved…

Obama’s hurricanes of betrayals have only just begun!!!

You know things are bad when Washington Post columnist Eugene Robinson, one of the president's more reliable defenders, calls him "disingenuous," as Robinson did this morning on MSNBC, reacting to an answer Obama gave at Thursday's televised town meeting in New Orleans. (It's less surprising that Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough, a former Republican congressman, would deride Obama's performance as "pathetic.")

Indeed, at times during his drop-by in the Big Easy (on the way to a $34,000-a-couple DNC fundraising dinner in San Francisco), Obama impersonated a double-talking hack—a bracing contrast to the principled, charismatic leader who shows up in HBO's nostalgic documentary, By the People: The Election of Barack Obama, which debuts on Nov. 3, a year after his historic victory.

So which image is closer to the bone—the leader or the hack?

A New Orleans law-school graduate named Gabriel Bordenave is enjoying his requisite 15 minutes for teasing out the president's inner equivocator. The 29-year-old Bordenave, who voted for Obama, pressed him regarding his solemn campaign promise to reverse the Bush administration's lousy performance on Hurricane Katrina.

"Why is it [that] four years after Katrina we're still fighting with the federal government for money to repair our devastated city?" Bordenave demanded, citing insufficient funding from the Federal Emergency Management Agency for a much-needed community college and for the city's only full-service public hospital, both of which were severely damaged by the storm and still languish unrepaired. "I mean, I expected as much from the Bush administration," Bordenave went on, "but why are we still being nickled and dimed in our recovery?"

In the middle of his lengthy, defensive, and self-justifying response—praising his administration for, among other feats, "working around the clock to clear up red tape and to eliminate bureaucracy"—Obama unleashed the money quote:

"Now, I wish I could just write a check—you say, 'Why not?' Well, you know, there's this whole thing about the Constitution and Congress and"—here the president smirked as some in the crowd laughed—"not to mention the fact that...one of the interesting things you find out about being president is everybody will attack you for spending money, unless you're spending it on them. You notice that? So we've got to go through procedures."

This morning, Bordenave—who is quoted in The New York Times as calling Obama's response "a blow-off answer"—told me: "I felt he could have at least given me a straightforward answer, even 'We have real doubts about the costs of the damage.' Instead he said, 'Oh, it's the hington Post, where he spent 23 years covering politics, the media, and other subjects.

wtf has hobama done for nola

    or any poor black person?

So it was strange and disheartening that Obama would wait nine months to make his first visit to New Orleans as president. It was stunning that he would spend only a few hours on the ground and that he wouldn't set foot in Mississippi or Alabama at all. But worst of all was the way he seemed to dismiss the idea that his administration could and should be doing much more.

I know that local officials say the Obama administration is more responsive and more effective than the Bush administration, but that's not saying much. What says more is that New Orleans still doesn't have an operational full-service hospital. And that an adequate flood barrier is still not in place.

"I wish I could just write a check," Obama said. If that was his message, he should have stayed home. We now know that our government can make hundreds of billions of dollars available to irresponsible Wall Street institutions within a matter of days, if necessary. We can open up the floodgates of credit to too-big-to-fail banks at the stroke of a pen. But when it comes to New Orleans and the Gulf Coast, well, these things take time.

I doubt these are the priorities Obama wants to be remembered for.

Send the parents of the murdering boys right to jail along with them and throw away the key!

95% of youth gone wrong is directly related to bad parenting! Kids don't get this way by themselves!!!

On any given day you see kids like this loitering in the streets way after dark and you wonder where the hell are the parents and why do they allow their kids to be out late at night. the girls as well as the boys.
