Well, I have heard more, and Officer Stephen Stem has some explaining to do.
This is a police officer with a bad history, and when I look at the totality of the circumstances I just don't see where deadly force was justified in this situation.
This comment from someone commenting on the New York Daily News website pretty much sums up my feelings:
"She's 93, probably suffering from dementia to some degree. Someone that old could also have other infirmities such as deafness or impaired sight. She never shot at him but Stam shot her anywhere from 3 5o 5 times when she wouldn't stop waving the gun. I wonder if this cop would have shot an elderly 93 year old white woman."
I wonder as well.
Finally, someone should just tell my man Donald Sterling to leave bad enough alone and quit with commenting on racism.
In mean this latest
You have to give it to the Stormfront folks and those of their ilk; at least they embrace their ignorance and wear it proudly on their sleeves. You would never hear them trying to spin their racism like old man Sterling.
"You think I’m a racist?" Sterling asks the friend in the recording that was obtained and posted by RadarOnline on Thursday. "You think I have anything in the world but love for everybody? You don’t think that! You know I’m not a racist!"
The other voice responds, "I know I, but, I but .. what about when I hear that tape though, that tape of her..."
"I grew up in East LA!," Sterling retorts. "East LA! You’d die to get out of there — I got out of East LA. I was the president of the high school there. I mean, and I’m a Jew! And 50 percent of the people there were black and 40 percent were Hispanic. You ever been to Boyle Heights (a working-class Mexican-American neighborhood in LA) ... So I mean, people must have a good feeling for me."
So he goes the some of my best friends are black route. Really?
"It breaks my heart that Magic Johnson, my — a guy that I respect so much, wouldn’t stand up and say, ‘Well let’s get the facts. Let’s get him and talk to him.’ Nobody tried". [Source]
Donald, Magic has heard all he needs to hear from you. And I am pretty sure that most of the folks in America feel the same way.
Field, "This is a police officer with a bad history, and when I look at the totality of the circumstances I just don't see where deadly force was justified in this situation."
ReplyDeleteField, in the previous thread I gave you "7" good factual reasons why the police officer was innocent. I mean, the cop is White and he is a Texan and it took place in some country town in Texas.
But here's the clincher: She was 93yr old BLACK woman. Hell, Whites are shooting Blacks all over America without impunity because BLACKS EVOKES FEAR IN WHITES!
Therefore, the cop was only protecting himself. No White cop is going to hold back shooting a Black when they are afraid of them. Therefore, the policeman is innocent and the old Black woman was wrong. End of case.
I know, I know...it's damn depressing to be Black in America. But what can you do? That's why I come to FN for 'race therapy'.
What a blessing! Still, it's still depressing to be Black in America.
depressed negro
The more I think about it, the more I think Donald Sterling was set up because he is Jewish.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the scene in "There's Something About Mary" where Matt Dillon's character was on the phone while his boy was reading a script.
ReplyDeleteAs far as a 93 year old woman being shot, all we need to know is that white guys can train a sniper rifle on federal law officers with no repercussions while an elderly blah woman is shot multiple times. What else is there to know?
This comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteGot pictures of "white guys" doing this with no repercussions?
ReplyDeleteAnd can't blah guys rap and wax poetically about killing cops and get invited to the whitehouse?
KC, "And can't blah guys rap and wax poetically about killing cops and get invited to the whitehouse?"
ReplyDeleteWhat are you talking about? Obama would never do that unless he had to for political reasons.
He doesn't like rappers, esp black ones.
Kinky, are you making something up to make the President look bad?
"Got pictures of "white guys" doing this with no repercussions?"
ReplyDeleteReally? I knew you were kinda slow but dude.
"And can't blah guys rap and wax poetically about killing cops and get invited to the whitehouse?"
ReplyDeleteYep, Bush invited NWA. Damn, I forgot about that.
Who is taping Donald's conversations? Isn't that against state law in CA?
ReplyDeleteWhat is the penalty for taping someone's conversation?
How can Stiviano get away with it?
"Guess who's scheduled to lunch with the President of the United States today?
ReplyDeleteCompton's most notorious rap entrepreneur, Eric Wright--better known as Eazy-E, founder of the controversial rap group N.W.A.
Wright, who also owns Hollywood-based Ruthless Records--has been invited by Republican Senate leader Bob Dole to attend an exclusive luncheon today in Washington where President Bush is scheduled to speak to the Republican Senatorial Inner Circle."

I guess in Kinky world making rhymes about killing is the same as pointing a high powered rifle at someone. We need to hold a vote, is he or Bill the king of the false equivalence.
Since SOMEONE is either too dumb or lazy to do a simple internet search.

Oh Kinky... you're such a kidder. LMAO. I mean you can really come up with some good ones. Thank you for taking time out from lighting farts and drinking Mountain Dew to entertain us with your precious wit.
""I grew up in East LA!"
ReplyDeleteSterling is blacker than you are Field.
I hate to say it but this blog pays people to comment.
ReplyDeleteThis blog is nothing but a gossip column phony people are paid to make controversial comments.
I bet KC, PilotX and sometimes Granny- when she needs the money- are paid to comment. This is a damn shame...it is so obvious.
What do you think of the bipartisan vote to hold Lois Lerner in contempt of congress, Field?
ReplyDeleteObama must be nervous. All of the sudden, Boko Haram is a big problem.
Although using Boko Haram to distract from Benghazi might not be the best idea:
The Bama attack showed [Boko Haram's] substantial firepower, including machine guns, large numbers of rocket propelled grenades (RPGs) and pick-up trucks mounted with anti-aircraft guns, a sign the weapons flood from the Libyan war that helped rebels seize parts of Mali last year has reached Nigeria, officials say.
I sure wish they'd let dead guys testify.
I'll admit that it is a hard situation for cops when they have to deal with a mentally ill or demented person with a gun, regardless of race. I'm not sure how I'd handle it; what if you can't talk the person into giving up the weapon? I'd be more than a little jumpy dealing with that dangerous scenario as well.
ReplyDeleteWithout footage of the incident, it's hard to make a judgment of whether the cop handled it right. We'll probably never know for sure.
But I'll also reiterate what I said yesterday, which is that local law enforcement in and around Hearne doesn't have what you'd call a good relationship with black people. For whatever that's worth.
"Obama must be nervous. All of the sudden, Boko Haram is a big problem."
ReplyDeleteBoko Haram are front page news all over the world numbnuts.
Are the governments of Russia, China, India, Pakistan, U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Brazil, Japan, Korea etc. all covering up Banghazi?
Because that's what you appear to be saying.
No proof? Damn those "white guys" are sneaky.
ReplyDeleteBoko Haram-another Hillary success.
I can't believe people actually want her to be president. I guess anyone would be better than what we have now.
Dead Ambassador, u can't testify, but u can enjoy the company of your fellow dead Americans who died in Iraq.
ReplyDeleteMore Americans died in Iraq under the president (Obama) you so undying support.
ReplyDeleteFrom the beginning/end of the Iraq war-more Americans were killed in Chicago. Thus the name Chiraq.
Yet we never hear Democrats harp on the Americans killed in the urban war zones their liberal policies helped create.
Non true Kinky Con-man, maybe u should get out more.
ReplyDeleteBTW, can u tell your friends at the NRA to try and work with us as we try to create a safer urban environment?

Good point.
Bush did it too.
Any excuse you can use to cover for Obama works.
field negro said...
ReplyDeleteBTW, can u tell your friends at the NRA to try and work with us as we try to create a safer urban environment?
The NRA did.
They said none of their NRA members were allowed to shoot innocent people in urban environments.
When you have proof that NRA members are the shooters in these "urban environments" you speak of, we can further discuss the NRAs involvement.
Until then, can you try and focus on the actual shooters instead of the strawman the democrats keep propping up?
*IF* your goal is the safety of poor black families, how does attacking people not doing the shooting help you achieve your goals of helping poor black people avoid violence?
Have you noticed the governments decades long war on drugs? Has the government successfully kept drugs out of the hands of Americans? Yet you think the same government can ban guns? When the government bans guns, only criminals will have guns.
And the violence in urban environments escalates. More innocent blacks die.
The KKK wins.
FN celebrates he disarmed innocent people.

Actually, where I am, there aren't many here.
There are a shitload of commie bastards though. The fire and brimstone are bad enough, but listening to Ted Kennedy's screams all day is a million times worse.
You've got to feel sorry for Bill and Kinky, they've completely run out of things to say.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Who would have thought that an American Ambassador would go to hell. Oh well, he won't see my wife's brother in- law there. He died as a result of the Iraq war, and if there is such a place, I am sure that he is in heaven.

Sure Obama cares about "our girls". Deeply. Every day when he wakes up for another lavish fundraiser he tells the audience something different:
“I know there’s a lot going on in the world, and the news is filled with images of the Middle East and Japan,” Obama said during an appearance at UPS. “But you should know that keeping the economy growing and making sure jobs are available is the first thing I think about when I wake up every morning. It’s the last thing I think about when I go to bed each night.”
So he used to wake up every morning thinking about jobs. Then millions of them disappeared under his disastrous reign of error. So then he moved on to something else:
“The first thing I think about when I wake up and the last thing I think about when I go to bed is making sure that I’m doing everything I can to keep Americans safe,” Obama said.
He’s done such an awesome job on jobs and terrorism, so now he wakes up thinking about the kidnapped Nigerian girls.
“I have this remarkable title right now — president of the United States,” Obama said. “And yet every day when I wake up, and I think about young girls in Nigeria or children caught up in the conflict in Syria . . . there are times in which I want to reach out and save those kids.”
Maybe he should think about who’s been supplying Boko Haram with weapons and why his former Secretary of State refused to designate them a terrorist group.
When I wake up every day I think of what a two-faced buffoon we have in the White House. In reality, the first thing he clearly thinks of every day is shaking down his idiot supporters:
Roughly 250 supporters attended the event, where tickets ranged between $1,000 and $32,400, according to an invitation obtained by the Sunlight Foundation. According to CBS News’s Mark Knoller, it was the president’s 19th fundraiser of 2014 and his 57th benefitting Democratic candidates this cycle.

Yeah, well I fell in with the wrong crowd, obviously.
At least your wife will have her brother-in-law to keep her company.
You and I will have plenty of time to catch up.

So have you. At least they make intelligent comments....yours are pathetic...they suck.
Brother Field... that is when wars are really felt- when someone you love/know are an active participant. I remember when your love one was loss in combat. He too is in my memory of the soldiers lost.
ReplyDeleteHaving been a medic in a war, I carry sorrow for the many men that died with me being the last person in life. I pray that my being there was some comfort.
Now I believe that once again the people who will not serve are trying to start another rush with "might". I guess President Obama will have to tread lightly once again, Damn if he do, damn if he don't.
Again, I will thank you for the sacrifice of a member of your extended family. Very few Americans have a personal investment in any of our many wars. They (99% of non participators) see wars through the head not the heart. Again Brother. I do pray for the harmed,

I completely agree, but they insist on coming here every day spouting their far-right nonsense. But you see, guys like Bill and Kinky have got nowhere else to go.
This is their spiritual home on the internet.
Why is NOBODY talking about the 59 black BOYS, in Nigeria, who were murdered (some of them burned alive) just this past February, 2014. The boys were murdered by the same Nigerian Islamic fundamentalist terrorist group that kidnapped the schoolgirls a few weeks ago.
ReplyDeleteNothing was done about the 59 boys. If something had been done several months ago, (about the BOYS), what's happening now with the kidnapped girls might not be happening.
People are always saying that black girls/women are always ignored/abused, but this time it is the boys who were ignored. And the boys continue to be ignored.

Being starved for blk pootang is no joke.......
can somebody tell me what "blk pootang" is? I have never heard such a phrase, and I'm Black.
ReplyDeleteIt must be really hard to be Donald Sterling, since he really seems not to understand that everything that comes out of his mouth is deeply offensive. He's in deep denial and, unfortunately, everything that he says is so offensive that it will be news from now on.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, his ex-girlfriend seems to have 100 hours of tapes of him and everyone wants to tape him and expose him some more, and he is cooperating. He's like Archie Bunker. He doesn't know what an color-aroused antagonist he is and he doesn't know that there's anything wrong with having the attitudes that he has. So, he is likely to keep on expressing them.
