Spiritually awakened to piss on the prez.

Classy folks those right wing Christians. You know them, right? They are the ones whose leader declared that the only way to save America is to "undergo a moral and spiritual awakening".

If America is to ever become a Christian theocratic state, these are the guys who will take us there.

Anyway they are such good Christians, that this is what they are doing at their conference down in Washington.

"The 2014 Faith and Freedom Coalition Conference is underway in Washington, D.C. and one of the fun features they have apparently included this year is the ability to pee directly on President Barack Obama’s face. That’s right, there are Obama urinal cakes in the men’s room.

Yeah, right. The "both sides do it" response.

It's interesting how, about 90% of the time, the left-wing bad examples turn out to be a handful of statements made by absolute nobodies at some protest or running a novelty business.

Meanwhile, the offensive statements on the right come from everywhere, non-stop. Including from: Major donors, heads of activist organizations, conservative TV anchors, senators and congressmen, etc.

Under Obama, the US Government has done worse than release the commander of the maniacal Islamofascist outfit ISIS — it even trained some of its terrorists:

Members of the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant, or ISIS, were trained in 2012 by U.S. instructors working at a secret base in Jordan, according to informed Jordanian officials.

The officials said dozens of ISIS members were trained at the time as part of covert aid to the insurgents targeting the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.

"Abraham Lincoln once said, “Truth is generally the best vindication against slander.”

The truth on the widely covered “John Doe” is that two judges, one state and one federal, reviewed the accusations of partisans within a Democrat District Attorney’s Office and determined their theories have no merit or basis in law.

Each of these judges explicitly issued judicial orders that these partisan prosecutors must end their investigation immediately.

These are the truths that need to be stated over and over again to fight the slander directed at me and our campaign by my political opponents.

Still, many in the media proceed as though the opinion of the partisan prosecutors is new information and ignore the truths I have stated above. It is not. It is old news that has already been discounted by two judges. No charges. No case.

In reaction to the information that was released to the public and seized on by the media, the federal judge just this week sharply criticized the prosecutors. He said that they are now seeking "refuge in the Court of Public Opinion, having lost in this Court on the law."

Watching the media frenzy it is clear that this is what happens when someone takes on the big government special interests. They push back. No wonder so many politicians are afraid to make tough decisions.

I will not back down. We will continue to fight using the truth to keep the hard working taxpayers of Wisconsin in charge of their state and local governments. We will continue to fight to make life better for the good people of Wisconsin.

    More from Washington Post

"But Tenet had been having difficulty getting traction on an immediate bin Laden action plan, in part because Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld had questioned all the National Security Agency intercepts and other intelligence. Could all this be a grand deception? Rumsfeld had asked. Perhaps it was a plan to measure U.S. reactions and defenses.

Tenet had the NSA review all the intercepts, and the agency concluded they were of genuine al-Qaeda communications. On June 30, a top-secret senior executive intelligence brief contained an article headlined "Bin Laden Threats Are Real."

Tenet hoped his abrupt request for an immediate meeting would shake Rice. He and Black, a veteran covert operator, had two main points when they met with her. First, al-Qaeda was going to attack American interests, possibly in the United States itself. Black emphasized that this amounted to a strategic warning, meaning the problem was so serious that it required an overall plan and strategy. Second, this was a major foreign policy problem that needed to be addressed immediately. They needed to take action that moment -- covert, military, whatever -- to thwart bin Laden."

Looks like the Bush WH dropped the ball. Worst administration ever.

Racists or not, I do not like the gop or their message. If there are some changes in their platforms I would consider them but we are at odds on most issues. The gop wants to install religion (specifically Christianity) into government and as an atheist I can see the pit falls there. Strike one. The gop by and large ignores science, strike two. The gop opposes unions and as a union member that's a non-starter. The gop is against raising the minimum wage and some of its members want no minimum wage at all and wantt o let the "market" set wages which will necessarily be below current levels. So in essence the gop is hyper religious and not pro-labor. If they can articulate a message that resonates with me then I will reconsider but until then.........no amount of plantation and racial guilt given by repubs can change facts.

Instead of working on real problems that affect humanity, governments have used the their massive funding power to steer scientists to focus on an imaginary problem, one solely designed to provide 'scientific' justification for expanding government control.

We are all paying a huge price for this nonsense. The Small Business Administration estimates that compliance with such regulations costs the U.S. economy more than $1.75 trillion per year — about 12%-14% of GDP, and half of the $3.456 trillion Washington is currently spending. The Competitive Enterprise Institute believes the annual cost is closer to $1.8 trillion when an estimated $55.4 billion regulatory administration and policing budget is included.

Those regulation costs exceed 2008 corporate pretax profits of $1.436 trillion; they tower over estimated individual income taxes of $936 billion by 87%.

And those costs are much higher now than when those calculations were made, and don't even take into account the opportunity costs of putting such a drag on economic growth.

That's right, our War on Carbon, an essential building block of all life on earth, is costing us more than the entire cost of the Iraq War every year.

That depends on what gets handed off during the transition. One would hope one's predecessor has done his duty in good faith.

Looking at the chaos in the world today, it seems to have taken about 6 years for Obama to render the country's defense apparatus ineffective.

How long does it take to get out of a recession? Historically, about 18 months. With Obama, a trillion dollar stimulus plus 4 trillion (and counting) of "quantitative easing" hasn't quite done it.

If this was an historic recession we would have been out of it years ago because both parties would work to restore the economy but since the guy in the WH is a brown dem the opposition party has done everything to sabatoge the economy thus the WH can get the blame. Not rocket science.
    -----------

    Ridiculous.

No President has had so much to spend as Obama. He wasted it.

For the first two years of his Presidency, his party controlled both the House of Representatives and had a filibuster-proof 60 seats in the Senate. He had absolutely free reign to do whatever he wanted.

The Republicans were completely left out of the legislative process and couldn't sabotage anything.

Unfortunately, what he wanted to do was pay off his crony big corporation/Wall Street donors, public sector unions, and the UAW, then destroy the private healthcare system by forcing Obamacare down our throats against the wishes of 60% of Americans.

In so overreaching, he lost the House and his 60 seat Senate in a huge electoral backlash. He has responded by acting entirely outside the Constitution to proceed with trashing the country anyway.

If Obama had done nothing, we would have been out of this recession in 2010. Instead, he has prolonged and exacerbated the misery beyond all reckoning.

This mess is all on the incompetent community organizer we so so foolishly elected President. Twice.

Bush was a terrible President. Obama is an absolute abomination. Lord help us all.

Spending money can ease a recession but it's money in the consumer's pocket that really fuels the economy. We live in a consumer economy and since we lost so many jobs during the Bush recession the economy the necessarily is going to contract. The GOP cut food stamps, did not extend unemployment insurance and cut government jobs all things that will help the economy. We all know they are doing everything they can to make the brown guy look bad and even said so. Remember Mitch McConnell's words? We all know what time it is and the gop's playbill of making things as bad as they can and blaming it on the moooslim. The GOP is not interested in anything that will make Barack look good. You and I both know this. Nice try though.

Um QLB, I don't recall the names of some of these white hellholes I've seen but the ones in Alabama I was referring to are between Atlanta and Tuskegee. Saw em on my way to skegee. I know you don't believe there are poor whites but believe me they exist. You probably live in one of these areas so it's just home to you. Saw some really bad ones during my storm chase trip this spring. Iowa, Nebraska and don't get me started on Missouri. And since we're talking about East St. Louis there are some really really shitty white areas right around the metro east. I would suggest a drive through Cahokia and Sauget for starters. It was so bad that my wife commented to me that white folks need never talk about us. Redneck central, maybe one tooth in the entire area. Trust me man, there are some pitiful looking spots where you white folks live. Maybe next time I decide to drive through some of these places I'll take some pics. I'll take the nicer middle class areas in Gary, East St or B'more over these crappy white areas any day of the week.

I knew you were eaten up with the dumbass, I just didn't know it was terminal. Lets look at each of the "cities" you listed.
Sauget is a village, population of 150 or 250 depending upon what you read. While ugly, it's considered quite prosperous with a low crime rate and full employment. Some of the reviews are in fact interesting to say the least.
Cahokia it seems is over 60% Black. Blackjack, Mo is about 80% Black. Neither it seems are bastions of "whiteness." Since you list them as cesspools, it does show what happens what happens to a community when its demographic shifts to more than a third African American.
Like I said before you can't name a single equivalent town to East St. Louis, Camden Gary that is inhabited by a majority of Whites.

You must live in a rural community where your next door neighbor lives miles away from you because in a black community people talk about those killings all the time.

On this blog they talk about it 24/7, but it is mostly to avoid talking about anything that applies to whites, especially those who don't want you to bring up anything negative pertaining to whites because whites refuse to give up those broken and dirty angel wings that pretend to have.

Oh yes, Pilot. I've only the word of a liar ( you ) about these so called "White" towns when in fact two of them are predominately Black and one is prosperous. What you're trying to do we call the "shuck and jive" better known as bullshit. First off I'm a liar because I can't remember the names of rural Alabama towns I drove through two years ago? Ok, I guess you got me there. Secondly, to call Sauget "prosperous" is a reach by any stretch of the imagination. Have you ever been there? If you haven't I suggest a visit before you trust the wiki description of the town. As far as white equivalents to Camden ect. you may not see that because white poverty is spread out and not concentrated. Poor rural towns in W. Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, ect put together would make up a Camden. You talk about white crime not following poverty then where is it? Thousands of murders, robberies, assaults ect committed by and received by whites has to occur somewhere, where does it happen? The wealthy areas?
Finally, don't worry about my IQ. I've got more education and make more money than 90% of your people so you might want to self check that one. Have you graduated from college? What do you do for a living QLB? Just curious what genius whites like yourself do all day other than trolling blogs frequented by blah folks. "There is another Booneville, this one in northern Mississippi, just within the cultural orbit of Memphis and a stone’s throw from the two-room shack in which was born Elvis Presley, the Appalachian Adonis. There’s a lot of Big White Ghetto between them, trailers and rickety homes heated with wood stoves, the post-industrial ruins of old mills and small factories with their hard 1970s lines that always make me think of the name of the German musical group Einstürzende Neubauten — “collapsing modern buildings.” (Some things just sound more appropriate in German.) You swerve to miss deer on the country roads, see the rusted hulk of a 1937 Dodge sedan nestled against a house and wonder if somebody was once planning to restore it – or if somebody just left it there on his way to Detroit. Wow, Booneville, Ky with a total population of 80. That's about the population of a single floor on a high rise project that inhabits some of our big cities. Compare it to East. St. Louis with a population of a little under 30K. But then again where is the crime rate. I never said it didn't exist. That's concrete thinking on your part, again something "typical" for your people. The crime rate of ESG as well as the other cesspools your people creat and inhabit doesn't follow White poverty. In fact ESL leads the nation in just about every violent crime category, not just homicide. Here's the clincher.
