You're right, I am thankful to be reading this on thanksgiving. Last thanksgiving I couldn't read it because four days previous there was a fire in the old foundry building where I was living and the city wouldn't let them turn the electricity back on. As far as I know, it's still not turned back on. We managed to get out of there in February, but man, that was an ugly couple of months.

ReplyDeleteThey weren't trying to blow up the school. The bomb wasn't functional, and it was planted outside the school. They were trying to bring cops to the scene with a bomb hoax so they could attack them.
This is getting out of hand with the black folks trying to fight police brutality by literally fighting the police. The ones doing this are making a huge mistake, undermining any chances of success at the goal they claim to want to achieve.
That was true already before Trump's election, and doubly true now. He will jump at any pretext to give police more power and less accountability.
