Try and get a good nights sleep without thinking about North Korea, ISIS, or 45. I'm told by the media to be afraid of the first two, but I could care less about either of them. 45 on the other hand could do damage to the whole world if we let him.

    Democrat party imploding:

Former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz accused former DHS chief Jeh Johnson of lying under oath when he claimed the DNC refused the help of the FBI and DHS after their computer systems were invaded.

    What a corrupt, incompetent bunch.

  3. The noose is tightening. After Time and CBS news reported that there were successful hacks on county-level election systems, congressional investigators are examining whether any of that stolen data found its way into president four-year-old's campaign.
Given the exposure of 198 million voters' information in a non-password protected file accessible to anyone who knew the URL for weeks, by a Republican data analysis company, they might be in a heap of trouble.

  4. No topic tonight, so we can't stray O/T.

So one of the far right commenters asked Field if he had bothered to post when death threats to Obama were made, I guess it had to be on mainstream media. Said commenter was not ready to concede that Obama had had may times more death threats a week than any other president in history. He was even vapid enough to suggest that Trump was receiving a large number of death threats.

So I went down the memory hole to scan Field's output in 2009, figuring that the death threat problem would have surfaced the first year of his presidency. I didn't find what I was looking for, but I noticed that he faithfully posted just about every fucking day. As I look today, I see that he has more or less posted 360 days a year for the last ten years. That's some impressive devotion.

When Trump was elected, several things happened. It hit me quite hard that he had the support of KKK, Aryan Nation, just about every homegrown militia or supremacy organization and worst of all that his disavowal of these groups was lukewarm at best. I immediately felt the racial divide just fucking explode. I became attracted to black bloggers and sympathetic white bloggers. Anyone who seemed to be aware and seemed to care about problems. Also, my favorite B-listers almost to the last man or woman, either shut down their blogs or quit posting regularly because they were so discouraged that such a cataclysmic horror could actually occur to our fair and beloved land. That the worst, exclusivist, racist, mutherfukking shithead, could not only be POTUS, but he actually had at his command, the most fucked up republican, tea-baggin congress of all time, led by misanthrope and notable fitness creep, the Sanpaku Paul Ryan.

Field has continued to post boldly and in a very entertaining way. He cares for his community of hands. He is, in short, just a damn, fine American.

  9. Senate announces probe of Loretta Lynch behavior in 2016 election.

The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.

In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.”

Fired FBI Director James B. Comey has said publicly that Ms. Lynch tried to shape the way he talked about the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s emails, and he also hinted at other behavior “which I cannot talk about yet” that made him worried about Ms. Lynch’s ability to make impartial decisions.

Letters also went to Clinton campaign staffer Amanda Renteria and Leonard Benardo and Gail Scovell at the Open Society Foundations. Mr. Benardo was reportedly on an email chain from the then-head of the Democratic National Committee suggesting Ms. Lynch had given assurances to Ms. Renteria, the campaign staffer, that the Clinton probe wouldn’t “go too far.”

Accusations are great, they carry no weight, don't deliver the freight, they only obfuscate, the wingnuts debate, and all their hate, did I get that straight?

Of course you got nothing or you would copy and paste bullshit from some radical right site that couldn't find it's ass with either hand. You have no proof. You have never had proof, just accusations because smearing the enemy does alot for wingnut zombies.

  11. Wingnuts are freaking over Johnny Dipp's talk of assassinating a potus. Why, it is only locker room talk. Lighten up. Ain't like he threatened to grab Drumpf's pussy, is it?

  12. Apparently trying to intimidate people by insinuating he recorded their communications is a thing president four-year-old does. It's in the transcripts from his 2007 lawsuit (that he lost) against one of his biographers. Same sort of pressure tactic, only admitted to under oath. He said the biographer was so dishonest that the only way to get him to write anything truthful was to make him think he was being recorded, but when asked if he did, in fact record their conversations he said that, no, he wasn't equipped to record phone calls.
He didn't just admit it in clear language straight out, though, there was the usual equivocating about perhaps some recordings may have been made, he can't really be sure, until they asked him point blank, and then looking down the barrel of perjury, he said, nah, I'm not set up to record phone calls.

It worked. Comey was planning to lie, and it stopped him.

And if what Winning said is true, why did president four-year-old accuse him of lying in his testimony? (Hint: because president four-year-old is a lying sack of shit who lies all the damn time.)

Maybe it should be James Nuts or James, Bald-ass liar. It does take a certain boldness to blindly flout truth and reason just for a lost cause.

So I bite. Which one or several of the one hundred lies in the first five months cited are actually true, i.e. not lies?

So what does this editorial in the NYT have to do with Carlos Slim?

    You guys really are nuts.

Rendering plants bring their feedstocks to autoclaving temperatures.

Just thought you might enjoy knowing that.

  24. We used to sell our beef scraps to a rendering plant at a steak house I worked at, and I think the butcher who slaughtered our cattle and hogs sold those scraps to the same place.
Rendering a Whooteemoo seems sort of pointless, though, and would probably ruin perfectly good tallow if you tried to use it for anything.
An open-hearth furnace, on the other hand, could reduce the Whooteemoo to slag and a few grams of usable iron...

You think you're special because you get along with your neighbors, and when the time comes you won't wind up like Amy Beihl.

Things are better here now. We made them that way. We will continue to do so, while ignorant fuckheads like you cower in your bunkers at the thought of anyone who doesn't look like you.
Take your concern and stick it in your lying butthole, with your head.
