trump's army.

TWEET MEA lot of people have been predicting that something like this would happen, but I have been holding out hope that they were wrong. I was hoping that fascism would never come to America. We know that this president is capable of, he has already shown us who he is. (Remember what happened on June 1st? ), but we were hoping that there were those around him who would try to temper his fascist urges. Man were we wrong.

The events in Portland, Oregon over the past few days should terrify every red blooded American. Imagine unidentified federal agents snatching up peaceful protesters from the streets of an American city and throwing them into unmarked cars. It doesn't get any more dystopian that that. And yet that is exactly what has been happening in the Northwestern city.

Mr. trump, who is way down in the most recent polls, has become more desperate with each passing day. His back is against the wall and there is no telling what he will do at this point to hold on to power. He has already said that he isn't sure if he will go peacefully into the orange night. Things could get ugly here in America.

Just today Mr. trump threatened to send his federal officers  into other American cities. (At least I think they are officers. Frankly, I don't know what they are.)He named Oakland, Chicago, Philadelphia, and Baltimore as examples. Even though, for the most part, protests in these cities have been either non-existent or peaceful of late. But let's not kid ourselves, we know that this is all about. Just look at the racial makeup of these cities. I am proud to day that our leaders here in Philadelphia are not buying into Mr. trump's shenanigans.

"Both Mayor Jim Kenney and District Attorney Larry Krasner criticized Donald Trump after the President said he may send federal law enforcement to Philadelphia and other cities run by Democratic leaders in order to deal with continued unrest and protests over police brutality.

District Attorney Larry Krasner ..... released a statement in response to Trump’s comments.

“My dad volunteered and served in World War II to fight fascism, like most of my uncles, so we would not have an American president brutalizing and kidnapping Americans for exercising their constitutional rights and trying to make America a better place, which is what patriots do,” Krasner wrote.

“Anyone, including federal law enforcement, who unlawfully assaults and kidnaps people will face criminal charges from my office. At trial, they will face a Philadelphia jury. It’s the least we can do to honor those who fought fascism, including those who are fighting it even now.”''

The irony of all this is that some of these Second Amendment right-wingnuts who are so strongly into states rights, and who despise the federal government infringing on their rights, have been silent about Mr. trump's latest use of federal troops. Can you say Ruby Ridge boys and girls? Which just goes to show you that their movement is not about protecting the Constitution, it's about, at least in this case, protecting Donald trump.

"Trump exercises his rightful authority to send federal forces to protect federal property."

Oh that's his excuse now. You're actually wrong, he used a different excuse for Chicago. They lie so much they forget which lies they're using.

Why Chicago and not St. Louis? Mike Parson and Josh Hawley, mostly. Illinois is run by Democrats and Fergus is up by five points in Missouri.

Remember, this has nothing to do with crime (other than the crime of sending brown shirts into cities where they are not wanted) it's all about Fergus desperately trying not to lose the election so as to keep hiding behind the OLC memo until the statute of limitations runs out.

It's his ass, basically, and he'll do any slimey, corrupt, unconstitutional bullshit he can think of to try and keep it out of prison.

Michael Cohen is back out of prison tomorrow, after a judge ruled that his re-incarceration was retaliatory for the book he is writing.
The book, that he is free to finish now, recounts the racist and imbecilic manner in which Fergus conducts himself pretty much all of the damn time.
Which may not be good for him ahead of his election, but is not a valid reason to send the author back to prison in order to stop its publication.
Sort of ironic that Cohen was the operative keeping damaging stories of infidelity out of the media last time around, and is the author of a damaging book about what a corrupt, racist, pile of fetid turds Fergus really is this time around.
You know, for someone who famously values loyalty above all else, Fergus sure doesn't seem to understand how it works very well.

To all my Friends who are poll and stat. junkies like I am,

There's a new poll complete with cross tabs on the Hill. Very, very interesting.

Seems Trump has lost a few more points with seniors and women.

Poll: Trump trails Biden by 7 points in new national survey

True, the answer is obvious. I was just hoping one our many trolls would try to answer my question.

Remember how Duncan Hunter was sentenced to prison for using campaign money for non-campaign expenses?
Fergus has directed almost seven million dollars from his campaign and the RNC and assorted super pacs into his pockets by forcing them to do business with his hotels and resorts.
And then there's the tax dollars he siphons up by forcing the secret service and his government entourage to pay premium prices to stay at his shitty golf courses when he golfs there all of the damn time.
Perhaps the incoming DOJ can look into these improprieties after he is defeated in November. Maybe he and Dunc can hang out a bit.

So as part of operation "Scare the suburbs into voting for Fergus" I mean "Operation Legend" Billbarr Buggins claimed that the FBI has made 200 arrests since "surging" into Kansas City.
KC city government identified one arrest made under the program, meaning Billbarr was only off by 199, which is still way more accurate than his summary of the Mueller report.

Fergus is bragging about passing the MoCA again, and this time said he took it "the last time I went in" which got me to wondering whether he was referring to the visit to Walter Reed last fall that he never really explained.
The reason I wondered that is because I've taken the MoCA a few times... in rehab from my stroke. It was literally so easy that I didn't even know I was taking any kind of test, I thought it was just some stuff my speech pathologist was having me do to see if the stroke had impaired my use of language,(It did, but I got over it) but when the media started reporting about it because Fergus was running his mouth about it, I recognized it from all those years ago.
So did Fergus have a stroke?
Is there even a brain in there to have one?
I can just hear the neurologists talking to the radiologists "It's got to be a brain, it's at the end of his spinal cord."

I guess it kinda makes sense that the picture in the Fergus campaign ad that's supposed to be of violent protesters beating up a cop is actually from 2014 in Ukraine and of a protest against the corrupt pro-Russia government there.

This Augusto Pinochet move by Trump has already backfired on IQ-45 and the Republicans who have forgotten about the millions of voters who live and work in the major cities in America. I suspect after Spanky Barrs testimony at the end of July funding will be withheld by the Congress for IMPOTUS-45 little SS venture.

LOL.

Especially since no one is being assaulted and kidnapped by federal agents.

He's just signaling the democrats commitment to supporting the rioters against anyone who tries to reign them in.

This is going to a disaster for the democrats at the polls in 2020.

Fergus is toast if he loses Florida and Biden is up by 13 points there now that covid has turned the state into Armageddon by the sea.

I mean if you live in a dictatorship this type of behavior is acceptable. the donald is learning the hard way that he is not a king and cannot just do anything he wants.

So after 130,000 deaths, 4,000,000 infections and rising cases trump and the GOP are taking this crisis seriously. Nah, too late bro, you're going to lose the election and will be in jail in a few months. Now, had he done his job correctly the first time around the economy would be rebounding and the country would be opening but instead he acted like the incompetent moron he is. Good luck with the johnny come lately attempt to lead but after 4 years we've figured you out.

Not a trusted source of truth, by any means. Has an agenda to vilify the left anyway he can and was attacked by a milkshake.

His honesty and veracity rates right alongside drumpf's and K-Lee McEnema.
