Anyway, the "local -republican- gentry" in Mississippi doesn't think that certain types of marriages should be "elementary":

We asked voters on this poll whether they think interracial marriage should be legal or illegal- 46% of Mississippi Republicans said it should be illegal to just 40% who think it should be legal. For the most part there aren’t any huge divides in how voters view the candidates or who they support for the nomination based on their attitudes about interracial marriage but there are a few exceptions." After midnight tonight we won't be able to go to any federal parks, and if you were planning a trip to Europe and you haven't gotten your passport yet you might just be out of luck. I cannot help but find it interesting most people who are against inter-racial relations between men and women usually mean they don't want Black men with White women. Historically, White men have privately helped themselves to any Black woman they wanted regardless as to whether they (Black women) encouraged the attention or not. It seems White men didn't need encouragement. They took what they wanted and didn't even have to worry about the law enforcement community prosecuting them for rape. Yet another reason why the animosity exists between the minority and law enforcement communities in America.
