Halftime Show.

It's halftime at the Super Bowl. But rather than watch AARP rocker, Madonna, do her thing, I think I will do a little blogging.

I saw all  the commercials so far, and this is my take: Animals- especially dogs- are really in. A-merry-ca is still in love with rap and music, and music they consider "hip" to sell things. Jar jar Binks will be back this summer in 3D .(Whhyyyy?!) And I saw Howard Stern doing his best Bull Connor imitation for another shameless NBC promotion of one of their shows.

That's pretty much it.

As for the game itself,  I really have no rooting interest. The Iggles aren't there so I could care less who wins. I actually hate both of these teams.

Finally, let me end this post on a somewhat serious note. I say somewhat because the person I am going to write about is pretty much a joke.

Anyway, Newt says that his Oness and his government has launched an all out "assault" on religeon because of the HHS policy on birth control.

"Newt Gingrich upped his attacks against President Obama today over his administration's requirement that some religious hospitals offer co-pay-free birth control under the new health care law.

Gingrich's comments come after a week of outrage from the Catholic Church and his fellow GOP presidential candidates over the policy.

"This is a tremendous infringement of religious liberty," Newt Gingrich said on NBC's "Meet the Press." "Every time you turn around the secular government is shrinking the rights of religious institutions in America."

While the policy was proposed in August, the issue resurfaced last week after Catholic churches across America read letters from the church's leadership last Sunday condemning the administration's policy." [Source]

I won't get into why this is a false issue from a legal perspective, but trust me, it is.

Still, I have to wonder, where was all the outrage and righteous indignation when Catholic priests were molesting young boys?

That's right, there was none. Certainly not from the people we are hearing it from now.

Now back to the game.

Field, you had better hope the Giants win. Whenever the NFC wins the Super Bowl the market gains at least 5-15% for the year-- which is good for everybody's portfolio, esp YOURS.

However, when the AFC wins the market loses share for the year which could send your portfolio into the tank. I'd hate to see on the Ben Franklin Bridge contemplating suicide again. I have grown to love you my brother...even though you are wrong 60% of the time about your politics.

And, you are wrong for attacking Newt. The man is just trying to do the right thing, which is to protect the Billions of Catholics around the world against evil. I will pray for you.

Is Obama's attack on the catholic church part of a general liberal campaign agaisnt religion or an attempt to bolster black support by attacking a white institution?

I'm a Jets fan, so I'm very happy today. I'm one of those unfortunate football fans who has to work during the Super Bowl, but I was still thrilled to hear Big Blue beat the Dark Side, Emperor Belichick and Darth Brady.

As for the Eagles...

I will not forgive them any time soon for picking up Vick. Until that team comes under new ownership, and Vick is gone, I hope they lose, lose, lose. And I'm a Jets fan, so usually I don't mind the Eagles, heck I used to really like them. They had a fun, exciting rivalry with the rather bland Giants. Made for a good second game on Sundays in the NYC market.

Of course, I'm not picking on Vick, per se. I think he's a very good QB. I think the knock on him that he's just an uber option back is generally wrong. Personally, I believe he has been misused, putting too much on his back, even though he seems to bask in it when things are good - and they usually are with him. That's not his problem.

Heck, I'm one of those rare white guys who never blamed Cunningham for all the Eagles' disappointments back when. And I thought Cunningham was railroaded, as was done to Doug Williams before, with that old stupid myth that "blacks can't be successful QB's," a scummy little tale that hopefully lost it's scummy little edge after Limbaugh lost his scummy little MNF gig for perpetuating that racist myth. Of course I may be speaking too soon, as McNabb - the EAGLE - was already clearly a Hall of Fame QB by then... Irony is always lost on conservatives, and all the other supremists.

I understand why people may put Vick's situation in there with Cunningham, Williams, Moon, etc. There's a history there, and it's clearly still an issue, unless you live under a rock. I just think what Vick did was a disgrace and not appropriate for an NFL player. That's the crux.

Akili Smith said...

Jersey McJones: "Limbaugh lost his scummy little MNF gig for perpetuating that racist myth"

Limbaugh did no such thing. Limbaugh accused the media of investing itself in the success of black QB's by over rating them. He never said a word about race in regards to the ability to be a successful QB.

Stop perpetuating scummy little tales to ingratiate yourself with black people.

And Vick is really good quarterback. I could see the Eagles making the Superbowl next year.

I think Obama is trying to combat the idea among Blacks that he has ignored their problems and has failed to be a strong advocate for Black interests. If he is going to start taking on the powers that be, the Catholic church is a good place to start.

Maya said...

@Val:
I doubt Obama sees American blacks as his people whom he, somehow, failed as a leader who emerged from their ranks. Whereas Michelle Obama wears her race card as a sword and shield, using it for entitlement and victimhood, Barack seems to use his as a prop for understanding all the liberal pet issues. He won a white liberal activist lottery.

So many times in college and in Teach for America, I've seen young liberal white men try anything to communicate to those for whose benefit they were volunteering/teaching/"raising awareness" that they are on their side- they are the "good" white men. The overall gist of the response is usually, "You must keep on trying to understand us, but do so with the knowledge that you will surely fail. You don't get it. You will never get it. You can't possibly get it, so don't you presume that you can offer anything other than meek service and unconditional support. And don't you dare think of it as charity or kindness. It's the LEAST you could do, and it's of more benefit to you than to us anyway- gives you a slight hope of salvation".

But, you see, Obama can pretend to "get it". Having ancestors from the same continent as the descendants of American slaves gives him the magic ability to "get it". He doesn't have to be constantly scared to insult someone while trying to compliment them by calling them intelligent or articulate, for example. Obama got a shot at something every middle class, suburban activist kid wanted while reading Toni Morrison - play savior to these wronged, wretched people and be recognized as such. He doesn't seem to pull the race card to justify setbacks in life and failures, but to prove that he is qualified to tackle issues concerning suffering, diversity and prejudice.

There is a difference. When an activist of Italian descent tells you about his black girlfriend and how much discrimination his great grandpa faced, he isn't trying to say that the man's keeping him down. He's saying that he understands your pain as the man keeps YOU down. Props for open mindness have a different feel than props for victimhood.

Almost everything I read about Obama suggests that he is an outsider, using African Americans, whom he objectified long ago, to build a certain image. It's about him, not them. I seriously doubt that their plight can be personal to him.

The pedo-priests...and the hierarchy that covered up the crimes were all pretty much the most conservative of Catholics. They were anti-modern, if you will. And this is well known to Catholics...not so much to Talibangelicals, Reconstructionists and Dominionists.
Many European Catholics saw the elevation of Ratzinger as a way to halt the modern, Liberal thought of having conservative priests be accountable for their actions.

Our local radio station plays music that I heard, when it was new, back in the 1970s. 21 Jump Street is a movie...as was Land of the Lost. Seems like some folks are going to the well far too often.

Very well explained. You are exactly right. Unfortunately, African Americans don't get it because they fail to see Obama for 'who' he really is, even though he has proven again and again he cares nothing about Blacks.

Even on some black blogs like FN or Grannystandingfortruth, bloggers and posters still defend Obama's insulting behavior toward them as "something he HAS to do to please Whites." It's a rather perverse way of thinking; a shadowy plantation mentality to justify accepting insults, shame and abuse.

No matter, most FN Negroes will defend Obama to Whites no matter what he has done to Blacks. Fortunately, there are some black bloggers and posters who are able to face reality.

Thanks for the clarity of your comment. I am going to frame it to remind myself who Obama has shown himself to be instead of who I wish he was.

3 slain in 12 hours

By JESSICA SIMEONE

February 6, 2012

More Print Three people were murdered in separate incidents during a 12-hour spate of violence in Queens over the weekend, police said.

The bloodshed first erupted at around 5:45 p.m. Saturday, when career criminal George Portillo, 31, got in a fight with an unknown gunman on 95th Street and 31st Avenue in East Corona.

Portillo was shot in the chest and died at Elmhurst Hospital.

Police said his rap sheet included arrests for rape, assault, DWI and drugs.

Another slaying occurred at 1:16 a.m. yesterday in South Jamaica, when 20-year-old Cody Kahn was fatally shot in the chest.

Cops did not know what sparked the killing.

Fewer than five hours later, police found two men shot in Hollis — a 28-year-old man slumped over the steering wheel of a Nissan Altima at 209th Place and 111th Road and a 31-year-old man on the sidewalk nearby.

Both men were rushed to Jamaica Hospital, where the 28-year-old succumbed to his injuries.

Why would you have ever trusted an organization that has always clearly and obviously been a gay bath-house?

My kids will never have the relationship that my post Vat II pre-scandal generation:had with the Church; when we believed it could confront it's past sins and change, before scandal after scandal consumed its credibility.

And yet Catholics, for rationale that goes beyond explanation, continue to stick with the church, even sending their kids to it.

The Catholic church itself is a mecca for gay men, some of whom are pedophiles. Its hiring policies guarantee that an extraordinarily high percentage of priests will be gay.

But the Catholic Church is virulently anti-gay. Thus, as we see, the Church is astonishingly hypocritical.

If the Catholic Church were a corporation -- like Enron -- it would have been prosecuted into oblivion long ago. The Pope protects child molesters and is the point-man in the eternal cover-up.

All plain as day, yet Catholics continue to attend services, and worse, they continue to put their kids in the hands of an organization that willingly hires pedophiles.

Wrong slapnuts, I still have a home in Jamaica. And the neighborhood I grew up in is nicer than 75% of the neighborhoods in this fine country.

Nice evasion. I'm betting your Jamaican real estate is an asset you inherited.

In any case, owning property in another country has nothing to do with what was discussed.

Meanwhile, as we know, the finest real estate in Jamaica is owned by wealthy non-Jamaicans, like Ralph Lauren.

As for your claim that your Jamaican property is in a neighborhood that's nicer than 75% of the neighborhoods in the US, well, I'll bet the only reason you think your claim is true is due to the fact that in your Jamaican neighborhood, your neighbors are Jamaican.

Aside from that, it's impossible to know your basis for judging the quality of real estate.

Anyway, bc is already widely available. From both a policy and political standpoint there is nothing to gain by attempting to make the Catholic Church bend the knee on something so critical to their worldview.

I am not a Catholic or conservative and the Church deserves all the criticism it gets for the handling of its pedophilia issues.

But religious freedom applies to us all.

Egypt Defies U.S. by Setting Trial for 19 Americans on Criminal Charges

DAVID D. KIRKPATRICK
February 5, 2012

CAIRO — Egypt’s military-led government said Sunday that it would put 19 Americans and two dozen others on trial in a politically charged criminal investigation into the foreign financing of nonprofit groups that has shaken the 30-year alliance between the United States and Egypt.

The decision raises tensions between the two allies to a new peak at a decisive moment in Egypt’s political transition after the ouster of President Hosni Mubarak a year ago.

Angry protesters are battling security forces in the streets of the capital and other major cities. The economy is in urgent need of billions of dollars in foreign aid.

And the military rulers are in the final stages of negotiations with the Islamists who dominate the new Parliament over the terms of a transfer of power that could set the country’s course for decades.

The criminal prosecution is a rebuke to Washington in the face of increasingly stern warnings to Egypt’s ruling generals from President Obama, cabinet officials and senior Congressional leaders that it could jeopardize $1.55 billion in expected American aid this year, including $1.3 billion for the military.

But for Washington, revoking the aid would risk severing the tie that for three decades has bound the United States, Egypt and Israel in an uneasy alliance that is the cornerstone of the American-backed regional order.

The black plague in New Orleans...

Earlier Nights in New Orleans?
With Nation's Highest Murder Rate, City May Expand Tighter Youth Curfew

By CAMERON MCWHIRTER

NEW ORLEANS—Officials here are considering tightening a youth curfew in the latest attempt to fight crime in a city with the nation's highest murder rate and what its mayor has called "a culture of death."

The city council is scheduled to vote later this month on whether to expand a recently strengthened curfew in the French Quarter and a nearby tourist area to the whole city.

Mayor Mitch Landrieu, Police Superintendent Ronal Serpas and other community leaders back the plan.

But opponents worry the city is treading on the rights of children with a curfew that they say won't do much to reduce crime.

Curfew rules in effect since mid-January in the French Quarter and nearby tourist district require all those 16 and under to be off the streets by 8 p.m. every day rather than merely on school nights, as was previously required.

A less-stringent citywide curfew has been in place since 1994 that allows children to stay out until 11 p.m. weekends and 9 p.m. weekdays in the summer.

New Orleans's murder rate has citizens rattled. Last year, 199 people were killed in this city of 344,000—a 14% increase over the year before.

That comes as the national murder rate continues to drop and puts the city's rate at 10 times the national average. And this year promises more bloodshed. Twenty-five people were murdered in Orleans Parish in January, according to the coroner's office.

Children have been put at risk in some of these killings, frightening parents who are pressing officials for more action.

Atlanta Street Gang Members Videotaped Brutal Hate Crime Attack On "Faggot"

Members of an Atlanta street gang were filmed beating a man who was brutally assaulted because “faggots” were not allowed in their neighborhood, according to a videotape of the apparent hate crime.

The 30-second clip, posted yesterday to Worldstar Hip Hop web site, was shot outside a grocery store in Atlanta’s Pittsburgh neighborhood.

The business, located at 1029 McDaniel Street SW, is a popular congregating spot for members of the Pittsburgh Jack City Gang (or “PBJC”). The group has also used the name “Jack City 1029.”

As seen above, the video opens with an unseen cameraman and a second man outside the grocery store. The second man announces, “Round one. Jack City. No faggots.”

Then, after a diminutive man exits the grocery, an assailant approaches him from behind and delivers a brutal punch to the side of the victim’s head.

The man’s cell phone flies from his hand and he crumples to the ground.

The victim is then set upon by three men who punch and stomp him while he tries to cover his head. One of the attackers--who is wearing a shirt with “Jack Gang” imprinted on the back--even strikes the victim in the head with a tire.

As the man is beaten, the giggling cameraman announces, four times, “No faggots in Jack City.” An onlooker can be heard saying, “No faggot, man.”

The video ends after one assailant picks up the victim’s cell phone and then punches the man in the head while holding the device.

A YouTube video of the PBJC gang (posted in mid-2010) shows young men outside the McDaniel Street grocery store (which can be seen here in a Google Street View photo).

They brag about stealing necklaces, display gang signs, and refer to themselves as “goons.” One man describes himself as a “wild dog,” while another says, “I’m the Tasmanian Devil.”

While the beating video does not indicate when it was shot, Worldstar’s trademark clips of street mayhem are usually uploaded shortly after they were recorded.

The Dark side of America is spreading.

http://www.abc27.com/story/16667054/more-random-violence-from-teen-thugs-in-harrisburg

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -
A recent rash of violence continues in Harrisburg. Two of the latest incidents seemed to have no motive, other than just hurting random people for the fun of it.

There were two such attacks Wednesday afternoon in the Uptown section of Harrisburg.

Police said one happened around 3:30 at the corner of North 4th and Woodbine Streets. They said about six black males, about 14 to 17-years-old, ran up to a 55-year-old man from behind, punched him in the face, and knocked him to the ground. Nothing was stolen.

The other incident on Wednesday occurred around 5:00 at the intersection of North 3rd and Schuylkill Streets. Police said witnesses reported three young black males, again between 14 and 17-years-old, knocked a 60-year-old man off his bicycle and then punched and kicked him. Again nothing was stolen.

Harrisburg City Councilman Brad Koplinski said there has been increased violence in several parts of the city. He said it's strange that it's happening during the winter.

The issue is not whether Catholic priests or Cardinals or Bishops do not require birth control pills when ministering to their flock...but those women who work in the not-church activities. The Catholic Church runs real estate, hospitals, and businesses...and should be covered like any other secular entity. Their core church function is obviously allowed to be as stoopid as the believers wish...but the rest easily falls under what is rendered unto Caesar.

Odd that the old guys who knew of the molestation of children had no such qualms about Viagra or baldness cure coverage.
This also highlights that many religious orgs have vast holdings and concerns...and pay no taxes on them. While I love St Patricks....and can find it acceptable that the building and services associated with the faith are tax-exempt...I feel that their parking business should follow the same rules as other businesses.

Hey Perps,
What do you think about the prevelance of Black Violence and criminal activity? Do you know of anyone speaking out about this or are you planning on doing anything about it before it explodes into something that will no doubt be irreversible? What do you think? This is a real problem wouldn't you say? If things get out of control where will that leave "hybrid" children like yours?

thanks for at least mentioning the religion vs. HHS issue, Field. "Morning Joe" was all over it (taking the side of "catholic hospitals") but nobody else that I found. You seem to suggest that it's beyond politics, just cut-and-dry law. Like to hear more. Maybe on MSNBC tonight.

Even Rev. Sharpton was against the HHS on this one, personally anyway. Nobody on "Joe" debated it seriously that I heard, but then that's not surprising.

Nothing brings crackas together like bashing black folks.

Quite a few people pointed out the real issue in this argument 1. Healthcare shouldn't be up to employers. It should be a basic right of a citizen to be provided healthcare. 2. If we make allowances for the catholic church then why not for all religions. Why must we continually bow to their doctrine?

Healthcare is not a "right"; you do not have the right to demand others provide you healthcare.

2. Their "doctrine" should be respected in their hospitals. Why must all people in the country bow to the doctrine of the federal government? Is the department of Health and Human Services our established religion now?

The government has no business either dictating morality or outlawing it.

nobama 2012!!!

ron paul 2012!!!

When you take a trip across America and see what is going on today, you start to wonder what it’s political leaders are on when they give their rosy forecasts and accounts of the current and future state of the country. With the current President Barack Obama, you often feel like things feel the same or worse than they did over the previous guy (George Bush Jr). Is there any difference?

Let’s compare the two leaders to see if there is any difference between them. Barack Obama is the son of a Senior Government Official in Kenya (of whom Obama’s father had ex-wives and many more children scattered around the world), admitted he was a former alcoholic and drug user, launched an air assault on Libya without receiving proper approval, has continued the war in Afghanistan by sending more troops, often dines with the executives of big powerful corporations and makes policy decisions (or in-decisions) that allow their companies to dominate further, has racked up huge fiscal deficits as well as the country’s debt while in office, has allowed the gap between the rich and poor to widen to the greatest in American history (not to mention the record number of American people who are poor and live off food stamps), has eliminated the number of high-paying jobs and replaced them with lower paying ones (except if you’re an Executive of a company), allowed the big oil companies to influence his decision making while in power, made the credit system even looser than it was before, has further re-inflated a bubble of excess in the economy through even further de-regulation and has allowed the energy and food crisis to grow out of control to name a few achievements.

George Bush Jr shares Obama’s experience as being a former alcoholic and drug user as well as son of a US Government leader, helped reverse the economic, technological and fiscal gains in America created during the Clinton Administration (to somewhat lead to what we have now), started a war with Iraq (a nation whom had never killed an American soldier before the gulf war) based on bogus reports of weapons of mass destruction, invaded Afghanistan (to fight an army that America once trained to fight the Russians), often made decisions to help promote the oil industry and helped create illusionary economic growth through financial de-regulation (that popped in 2008) to name a few items.

Comparing the legacy of these two Ivey league Presidents above it seems that they are in a tie for their achievements (or failures). The only difference is that it took George Bush 2 terms (or 8 years) to create such havoc and Obama has done so in less than 1 term.

Wow, it's hard to top the preceding sentence for delusional thinking.

Inasmuch as blacks are devoted to aggressively killing each other, who else can be held responsible?

As bad as the black-on-black slaughter is in predominantly white nations, it's many times worse in black nations.

But getting blacks to look at themselves and then act to take the violence out of black culture has been impossible.

Every black nation in Africa is a charnel house. But as always, the reasons for Africa's miseries are not tied to a lack of national assets. Nigeria has more than enough oil to finance the creation and maintenance of an advanced society. But, Nigeria, like every other black nation on the planet, is incapable of managing itself for success.

They need to follow the wonderful example of the Arab Spring and take to the streets.

As the world is now witnessing, the Arab Spring is giving way to the Muslim Brotherhood future. As bad as Mubarak and Khadafy were, the Muslim Brotherhood will prove worse.

The Coptic Christians in Egypt are in big trouble. After the Muslim Brotherhood completes its takeover of the Egyptian government, the Coptics will begin to die in larger numbers. They will either all be killed or they will flee from Egypt.

Muslims do not believe in freedom and Islam is crystal clear about withholding fundamental rights from non-muslims.

Then Cuba and North Korea should appeal to you.

However, the subtext of your answer is also clear -- whites are capitalists and blacks are not.

The utter failure of every black economy makes this clear.

In your dream world -- a world operating on black economic theory -- who will manufacture goods? Who will invent? Who will develop services? Who will provide food? Who will handle finances?

In the world operating on black economic theory, people do not have to pay for anything. Not for healthcare, not for food, not for housing, not for education.

Meanwhile, there are very few capitalists in Africa. But most African nations are cesspools. Thus, your belief that capitalists are the enemy is not supported by anything more than your envy.

field's guide to black-and-white murders:

As always, it's in the percentages. The ratios. In the US, blacks commit murder at 8 times the rate of whites.

Finding one example of a depraved white killer changes nothing about the extraordinarily high level of black violence.

As we know, since there are so few black families -- defined as two parents and their biological children living under one roof -- that murders like the one you referenced are uncommon among blacks.

As we know, black women have the boyfriend problem -- you know, the boyfriend babysits, gets bored or tired of listening to the incessant crying of his girlfriend's baby, so he kills the child.

Or, as is often the case, the mother kills her own kid.

Botswana? Not very successful, as everyone but you seems to know. It's another example of a few people hoarding the wealth while the AIDS problem goes wild and all the usual African pathologies proliferate.

Barbados?

You call Barbados a country? It's an island town of 250,000 people who benefit from the presence of white tourists and the presence of an oil industry that pays local taxes but is run by external operators.

However, some of the factors that have lifted Barbados out of abject poverty would do the same for Nigeria, if only Nigeria were run by people who knew what they were doing.

Antigua and Barbuda? Please. Two more tourist towns.

By using these silly examples, you make the point that blacks are totally incapable of managing any enterprise that requires more than handing someone a towel, an umbrella and suntan lotion.

purple buttercup goes green with envy:

Yeah, cuz capitalism is doing a FANTASTIC job isn't it?

As always, the capitalist countries weather the storm. Whereas, Haiti, because it is a cesspool of crackpots, voodoo clowns and thugs, is a truly a nightmare, with no relief on the way.

Even Japan, after the tsunami and the mass death, is well on its way to recovery. But Haiti will get much worse, before it stops getting worse. But, it might continue to get worse, and eventually depopulate. Who knows? And who cares?

Meanwhile, AIDS in Africa is unstoppable. Dirty water is everywhere, and prosperity is impossible.

America is in full employment, the Euro is going gangbusters, banks are lending all the money people need.

Capitalist countries recover from hard times. The crappy countries you love -- do not.

Cuba is on the verge of becoming a capitalist nation. When Fidel dies, the transition will begin. Raul will turn Cuba toward the China model, and the people will take it from there, moving the country to the full western version.

There's no unemployment anywhere, Americans are getting steadily richer...

The economic worsening has ended. If Romney is elected in November, the improvement will begin. If Obama is re-elected, we'll stagnate for another four years. We'll have to wait until he's out of office for the recovery to reach full speed.

I think Black news always reports alternate versions of things, either that or its somethign to do with comprehension levels. Obama defied the law and the court case, tried to get the DA to just dismiss the case, judge said no. It isn't about him being an American it's about his father being a Kenyan, making Barack Hussein Obama not a natural born citizen. For whatever reason the judge ruled in Obamas favor even though Obama defied the court as a King can do, the evidence for his use of a false SS number proved valid and we know he isn't a natural born citizen. So, I guess this is US law under AA.

In 2009, the Indiana Court of Appeals (“Indiana Court”) addressed facts and issues similar to those before this Court. In Arkeny, the plaintiffs sought to prevent certification of Mr. Obama as an eligible candidate for president because his is not a natural born citizen. The plaintiffs argued, as the Plaintiffs argue before this Court, that “there is a very clear distinction between a ‘citizen of the United States’ and a ‘natural born Citizens,’ and the difference involves having [two] parent of U.S. citizenship, owning no foreign allegiance.” The Indiana Court rejected the argument that Mr. Obama was ineligible, stating that children born within the United States are natural born citizens regardless of the citizenship of their parents. The Court finds the decision and analysis of Arkeny persuasive.

"What I heard is that the democrat judge threw it out based on a quite a twisted ruling. Is it being appealed?"

Yes wingnut, hold your breath for a ruling you will like.

"Finding one example of a depraved white killer changes nothing about the extraordinarily high level of black violence."

One? No, there is a lot more than one there slapnots. It seems like everyday one white guy is taking out his family, a town, a school, his co-workers.....

I don't see the words "natural born" in there PilotX. There is a difference between a citizen and a natural born citizen.

The only time the US Supreme Court ever did define the class of persons who were POTUS eligible under Article 2 Section 1 was in Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162 (1874), wherein it was held:

“The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.” Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162, 168.

There’s a quote for you. It really exists. And it tells you exactly who are natural-born citizens; those born in the country of parents who are citizens. The words are plain-spoken and self-evident. There are two classes of persons discussed in the above quotation. Those born in the country of citizen parents were labeled by the Court as “natives or natural-born citizens”, but these were also further identified as being “distinguished from aliens or foreigners”.

Obama is a citizen, but as his father was a foreigner, he is not a natural born citizen.

Field, I wish your anons would get a handle so we know which one says what. It would have been nice to know if it was the same one who thought this case was going somewhere. Oh well, one can only dream.
