However, this would have a somewhat less beneficial effect on their reputations and their quarterly sales figures. So don't hold your breath waiting for them to do that.

The clerk refused the money.
George left without incident but decided to hang out in front of the store, just standing around.
In the meantime, just for practice, the clerk notified the police of the incident.
The police then rushed right over because, you know, police in big cities are usually free to rush over to check fake $20s from people who have already left the scene.
Happens all the time.

The CDC directs medical examiners to include COVID on death certificates among the listed health conditions if the person was infected. But that's not the same thing as labeling it a COVID death. Medical examiners are supposed to exercise their best judgment as to the UCOD (underlying cause of death).

I actually agree with you, now that I see your point. I have noticed that many of the young people born from around 1990 to around 2000 are not quite like we expected. They seem more egalitarian and more socially conscious than any groups since the civil rights movement of the 1950's and 60's.

No, Anon. You are wrong as usual. If we wish to know how many black people the police kill versus how many whites the police kill, then we must use the entire population numbers for each group. I do not recall that we were ever limiting our population to only arrest data. Many blacks and whites, as well, are killed by the police when no arrest is involved.
Why is it so difficult for you to grasp this simple concept? For example, Tamir Rice was shot and killed by Cleveland officers as he played with a toy gun. Tamir was 12 years old and had not been arrested.

Bottom line is as a result of the southern strategy, enough conservatives were elected to turn the Supreme Court and in congress so that the most important provision in the law was removed. The result has been gerrymandering in nearly all red states.
