Republicans come clean, and the return of the ladies man.

I have to give it to the republicans here in my home state of pistolvania, at least they are honest.

"This weekend, Pennsylvania Republican House Leader Mike Turzai (R-PA) finally admitted what so many have speculated: Voter identification efforts are meant to suppress Democratic votes in this year’s election.

At the Republican State Committee meeting, Turzai took the stage and let slip the truth about why Republicans are so insistent on voter identification efforts — it will win Romney the election, he said:

“We are focused on making sure that we meet our obligations that we’ve talked about for years,” said Turzai in a speech to committee members Saturday. He mentioned the law among a laundry list of accomplishments made by the GOP-run legislature.
“Pro-Second Amendment? The Castle Doctrine, it’s done. First pro-life legislation – abortion facility regulations – in 22 years, done. Voter ID, which is gonna allow Governor Romney to win the state of Pennsylvania, done.”
Voter identification efforts disproportionately affect low-income voters of color, a typically Democratic demographic. Despite insistence by Republicans that the efforts are needed to prevent misconduct on election day, voter fraud is less likely than being hit by lighting." [Source]

This gives new meaning to the phrase, "By any means necessary."

Finally, like a  bad dream, Mr. 999 is back. This time the "Ladies Man" is riding the "Cain train" and he has some advice for Mitt and the gang:

"The way Governor Romney could blow it is number one: if Republicans get over confident. Number two: don't slow down in terms of the amount of effort that you have to exert in order to make sure that we win."

As for Romney's search for a vice presidential nominee, Cain says he should pick someone he believes in. "If the nominee were Herman Cain," he says, "my shortlist would include people like Rep. Allen West out of Florida, Rep. Paul Ryan out of Wisconsin and Sen. Marco Rubio and a senator out of Oklahoma, Coburn, Sen. DeMint… They are not afraid to challenge the establishment." [Source]

I hear ya Herman. Let's hope that that they aren't all serial philanderers like a certain fast talking pizza salesman.

It seems like Blacks get the worst of everything, they can't learn in schools, can't stop crime, don't know how to get out of poverty, and now are so dumb they can't even get an ID that you have to have to get foodstamps, welfare, section8, medicaid and any other government program.

So where exactly are these really poor Blacks who get absolutely no government help, don't ever use the library, drive, go to democratic conventions or visit the government, use hospitals, cash any checks, have bank accounts, or buy liqour and cig's, or get stopped by the police?

There is much proof of voter fraud, it's a democratic staple - show me one, just one poor black person who doesn't have an ID that is a regular voter or even hispanic. Of course the catch is they have to be legally able to vote, use only their identity and be alive.

Most importantly, why is having an ID to vote only an issue for poor blacks? Why aren't poor whites, latinos (legal) , chinese, korean or any other race a factor? What makes them able to get an ID and vote that a poor black cannot?

vote early and often said...

You really ought to take a crack at answering the obvious questions about why blacks have so much trouble coming up with an ID at the voting booth.

At the bank people are required to show an ID for many transactions.

When using credit cards in many neighborhoods, everyone is asked for an ID.

So clearly your belief that requiring an ID to vote would keep blacks from voting is just more of your usual nonsense.

Of course in black nations there's not much legitimate voting, so maybe you believe that stuffing the ballot box is okay.

Actually, most black nations are dictatorships, so there's no real voting.

Speaking of Enlightened. Looks like Stockton is going bankrupt. They have been following the liberal model for years and while once was majorly Black now is Hispanic with a nice dose of illegals .

The top nine employers in Stockton are government agencies with two getting major government funding.
They can't raise taxes anymore because people are on public assistance programs or illegal.
and most others just left.

Welcome to Liberal America. Maybe if Obama puts in another gibs me dat program or demands congress passes another free stuff program the economy will improve? But wait where will that money come from? Oh noes, what is liberalism based on then?

Damn. Palin was right. Is this why Obama cut back on Alaskas missile defenses? Is this what Obama meant when he told the Russian president he would have more flexibility after the election? Wonder why the mainstream media didnt really report on this?

"Russian strategic nuclear bombers threatened U.S. airspace near Alaska earlier this month and F-15 jets responded by intercepting the aircraft taking part in large-scale arctic war games, according to defense officials.

The Russian war games began the same day President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin held a frosty summit meeting in Mexico June 18.

U.S. officials said the arctic exercises over the Russian Far East and Pacific appeared to be a further sign of Russia’s hardening posture toward the United States.

The Obama administration made no protest of the bomber intrusions, according to the officials, in line with its conciliatory “reset” policy of seeking warmer ties with Moscow.

About 30 strategic nuclear bombers and support aircraft took part in the war games that continued through June 25. The aircraft included Tu-95MS Bear H and Tu-160 Blackjack nuclear-capable bombers, along with Il-76 refueling tankers, A-50 airborne warning and control aircraft, and Su-27 and MiG-31 jet fighters. Some 200 troops also took part in the Russian Strategic Aviation forces exercise.

A spokesman for the joint U.S. Northern Command and North American Aerospace Defense command in Colorado Springs, which monitors air defense intrusions, had no immediate comment. A Pentagon spokesman declined to comment.

The exercises are part of increasingly aggressive Russian military activities in the arctic region in both the eastern and western hemispheres, which have created security worries among governments in northern Europe and Canada.

One official said the failure to publicize the threatening bomber maneuvers might have been related to Obama’s overheard promise in March to Russian President Dmitri Medvedev of “more flexibility.”

According to the defense officials, the arctic bomber exercises are part of Russian efforts to assert control over vast areas of the arctic circle that are said to contain large mineral and oil deposits.

Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Thomas McInerney, a former Alaska North American Aerospace Defense commander, said the Russian exercises should be a concern.

“The Russians continue to exercise our air defense identification zone, which shows Mr. Putin loves to let President Obama know that they still have global capability,” McInerney said in an interview. “So much for reset.”

McInerney also said the Obama administration kept the encounter between the bombers and U.S. fighters secret because “they obviously don’t want the world to know that the exercise was done deliberately to coincide with the Obama-Putin summit.”

From the head of the DCCC , message for his party’s candidates: Stay away from the Democratic National Convention.

“If they want to win an election, they need to be in their districts,” New York congressman Steve Israel, chairman of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, told the Reuters Washington Summit on Tuesday.

The Democratic convention, to be held in Charlotte, North Carolina, in early September to formally nominate President Barack Obama as the Democratic presidential nominee, is viewed warily by some of the party’s candidates.

The September 3-6 gathering to fete a president whose popularity ratings have hovered around 50 percent is a particularly sensitive issue for Democratic candidates who are in close races in states or districts where Obama trails Republican Mitt Romney in voter surveys.

For such candidates, four days of mingling with Democratic leaders could turn off independent voters before the November 6 election.

“A trip to Charlotte may be interesting,” Israel said, “but why leave your districts?”

Obama’s poll ratings have little to do with his stance, Israel said.

A judge threw out the libel case against Larry Sinclair brought by Daniel Parisi over his book about him having sex & drugs with Obama in 1999!

Axelrod supposedly paid $750,000 to rig a polygraph Sinclair was to take with Daniel Parisi. Parisi asked Sinclair to take the polygraph and he would pay him $10,000 but IF he passed it...$100,000. Sinclair took the polygraph and failed. Later, Parisi ended up paying Sinclair $20,000. When Sinclair s book came out, Parisi sued Sinclair for libel.

NOW a judge has thrown the case out because Parisi did not give enough evidence that Sinclair lied in his book. Parisi could not PROVE malice or that any untruths were written in the Sinclair book.

Field, since the poor can't vote, why doesn't the Dem Party get smart and go after the voters who aren't poor and Black?

It seems whenever it comes to preventing Blacks from voting, the Democrats are silent and helpless. They don't fight for the right to vote of Blacks. Remember how Blacks were prevented from voting in Florida and the Democrats did nothing and said nothing?

Why do the Dems allow the GOP to do such voting restrictions that hurt Democrats?

Frankly, I am surprised that YOU, other Blacks, CBC, NAACP, the Attorney General, and especially the Democratic Party aren't up in arms about the right of 'every' American to vote. What about the Attorney General?

There can be only ONE reason: they 'all' feel the same way about Blacks like the Republicans do. America has never been a democracy for Blacks, nor a place of equal and fair justice. It is clear Blacks are NOT wanted in America. But where can we go where we will be appreciated?

Very depressing.

In his quest to make conservatives comfortable, Obama hasn’t brought forth any assertive policy, executive order or bold “bully pulpit” announcement that directly impacts the black community. The courage with which the Obama White House has stood up for the gay community, women’s rights groups and Latinos has yet to be matched for African Americans, who have been far more loyal than any of those groups. Even the two Supreme Court picks the president had in his possession went to a Latino woman and a white woman from Harvard with a racially-exclusive hiring record (Elena Kagan didn’t hire or promote one single black, latino or native American tenure track professor during her entire six year term as dean at Harvard Law School). Dorothy Height, before she died, told President Obama that it is sad that after existing for two centuries, the Supreme Court has yet to have an African American woman….at the same time, they’ve had dozens of Harvard graduates like Obama.
There appears to be an odd self-consciousness that Obama has when it comes to avoiding the crime of being considered to be “too black.” Therefore, we have a black president who hasn’t said the words “African American” in any major public forum in the last three years of his presidency. A white guy would not have to tip toe around the issue of race because he would never be accused of being too black. That makes Father Pfleger the perfect double agent.

Well the Obama ship isn't the Titanic, more like a rattan boat sailed out of indonesia and called the good ship lollipop, how fabulous as those boys paddle Obama along. Obama then says ok, now vote for me and join me for a ride on Air Force Juan, you don't need no stinkin badges and you can have a nice job waiting for you.

Conservatives will take over but you have your analogies wrong. Obama is like the titanic who hit the iceberg and he just keeps backing up and circling doing it again and again and again thinking it will work next time.

Moonbats ahoy, throw out the nets they will drown if we don't help them.

Now that sounds kinky. Hopefully whatever he does to himself will be in private and if you just had fish for dinner that smell might be your upper lip :)

Since when is seeking the truth and justice over-reach? I know the moonies are saying, big deal people die all the time. But to us law abiding citizens that is unacceptable. It is a big deal a very big deal.

Probably not but this guy is really making me nauseous. He is either completely incompetent or utterly anti american. Now he is refusing to turn over documents on terrorists (tried and convicted terrorists) to congress. The very same documents he gave to the criminals. What gives with this guy that so much needs to be hidden? Oh that's right, he is pro Islamic terrorist and anti american that is his background.

“When I hear an attorney general of the United States come before us and say, somewhat cavalierly, there is a political aspect to this office, it offends me beyond belief. Your job is justice, Mr. Attorney General, Gohmert told Holder.

He went on, “When we made a request a year ago – here – for the documents that your department has produced to people who were convicted of supporting terrorism. They are terrorists, and we wanted the documents you gave to the terrorists. We are a year later, and we still don’t have them.”

Gohmert added that it made ‘no sense“ that the United States Attorney General would be more ”considerate” to supporters of terrorism than to members of Congress.

“I am asking for the documents your department produced to the terrorist supporters convicted in the Holy Land Foundation trial. Can we get those documents?” he asked…

…Just like his colleague, [Rep. Trent] Franks informed Holder that the defense lawyers in the Holy Land Foundation trial were given access to the evidence, therefore Congress should be given the same courtesy.

Holder’s ultimate response was that the DOJ would review the documents and determine whether it is appropriate for Congress to see what he gave to the terrorist’s defense teams.

Romney is the most successful businessman of the current candidate crop. He is a roll model to Black Americans when it comes to money. Being the $200 million man is not a bad thing. The urban “mom and pop" local shops would benefit from his knowledge. Small capitalists who actively provide a stream of good and services would be open to mentoring in their communities. Romney needs to open their eyes to the fact that social programs are failing and cities are going broke. Urban social programs are subsidized by the states and counties, they are not creating enough revenue for cities, they take more money out than they bring in, and they put off the day when these communities can support businesses that will bring in profits.

Republicans are losing valuable opportunities while they travel across the country to connect with black churches, hang out at block party events, court local black Republicans and GOP clubs, and address urban town hall meetings. Black History Month is the time to invest in small, local black papers, to fill urban radio air time with ads, and do call-ins on local morning black radio stations to promote themselves. By creating their own cheerleading squads and not being afraid of black people, they might learn that we are not all fans of the Black Caucus.

The GOP candidates should man-up and be risk takers. Over the years they've hired young college undergraduates, mostly white and middle class, to work as staffers who hold positions of authority. They oversee the smaller cities' “meet and greet“ events, but they have little to no life experience to the urban communities. Having too many of them is costly and a bad strategic move for Republican candidates.

Candidates, stop living in fear that you will be called "racist," for most black people have already concluded that you are one. Many black people feel you do not care for them, you only want to tax them and help the rich. They have been brainwashed by social programs and liberals like Maxine Waters and Charles Rangel for over 40 years. URBAN GAME CHANGER .COM
