It must be the hair.

Image result for king images don king   I have some BREAKING NEWS to report: Donald trump is not a racist;  even if he says so himself, and you won't believe whose endorsement is causing him to make this bold declaration.

"Donald Trump has been accused of racism for a while now, especially this past week, and Trump today declared that he can’t possibly be racist because Don King likes him.
No, seriously. That’s it.

Trump “announced” the endorsement this morning:

Then he did an interview with The Washington Post where reporter Marc Fisher asked him about the perception that he’s a racist.

And this is what Trump said:
Well, I am not a racist, in fact, I am the least racist person that you’ve ever encountered. I’ll give you an example. It’s funny, I just got this, it was just sent to me by Don King. Now, Don knows more about race than anybody. He owns this newspaper, you know –Don’s made a lot of money. He just sent this to me, look at this.
Trump showed off a copy of the weekly newspaper Call & Post, owned by King, where there’s supposedly a full-page endorsement this week of Trump for president and Bernie Sanders for vice president.

Trump continued, “Don King knows racism probably better than anybody. He’s not endorsing a racist, okay? Do you want to use it? You can have the story, it just came out. I just got it 10 minutes ago, I don’t know. Whatever.”

There’s nothing on the Call & Post site to suggest they’ve officially endorsed Trump, and when the New York Daily News asked King today if he’s endorsing Trump, he said, “No. I’m endorsing the people. I’m not a Republican or a Democrat, I’m a Republicrat, and I go with the will of the people. The only reason Trump exists is because of the will of the people.”'

Well there you have it people. Donald trump can't be a racist because he has been endorsed by Don King. DON KING! Who knows? Maybe they use the same hairstylist.

Anyway, apparently one of the leaders of his own party-- and a man who ran for president as a republican-- believes that trump is a racist.

"Mitt Romney affirmed again in an interview tonight that he absolutely will not support Donald Trump for president, and he cited his “racist” views as a major reason why.

“A person of that nature,” he told Wolf Blitzer, “should not be the one who becomes the example for coming generations or an example of America in the world.”' [Source]

I agree with Mitt, he should not.

But he might want to have a long talk with some of his republican colleagues, apparently they are  pissed at their leader, Paul Ryan, for even suggesting that trump might be just  little bit racist.

Although, if it was just a little bit of racism, I am not sure that it could actually "trickle down to others Like Mitt suggested it could.

Dear Mitt:

It's me, Seamus.

I know you didn't expect to hear from me ever again, but I am still around. I am really old now; thirty plus years is a lot of age for us dogs. I just hope I make it to Saint Patrick's Day.

Anyway, in case you were wondering, I have learned to forgive you for what you did to me some 29 years ago.---- It's hard to believe it was that long. It seems like only yesterday I was puking all over the rear window of that white Chevy station wagon and your children were screaming their heads off.  I can still feel the wind stinging my face and smell that strong scent of exhaust fumes. I kept thinking that we were just going for a quick family trip, but it seemed like we kept driving forever. Hey, at least it wasn't a compact.

I see you are running for president again. I hope you have better luck this time. Hopefully my little ride won't be the reason you lose the race. If it turns out to be I just couldn't live with myself. People are so much more sensitive when it comes to us dogs these days. I actually think that's a good thing. Look what happened to that famous athlete who abused us; he actually went to jail. I guess what I am saying is that this won't get any easier for you from here on out. There are actually groups dedicated to protecting us dogs and advocating on our behalf now, and most of the people in the country believe that we hold a special place in their hearts. Mitt, if only you had felt that way back then you wouldn't be going through this.

Anyway, if you do become president, I hope choose a dog as the first pet. I know you don't want to copy the Obamas, but it would really mean a lot to me. It's the least you could do.

Just promise me that you will let someone else in the family take care of it. I know that you have grown and matured, but some habits die hard.

In closing, give my love to the wife and kids for me, and tell them I hold no ill will towards them, I know that you are the head of the family, and they had no say in the matter. That was strictly your call; it's how you roll.

Good bye Mitt, and Godspeed.

Sincerely,

Seamus

A man purse, Super Tuesday, and going gun crazy.

Honestly, what is wrong with the A-merry-can male and this bogus machismo and virility in which he likes to wrap himself? Personally, I loved LeBron's man purse, but I think I am in a small minority with this one. The poor guy is getting killed for it. Why?

Now that I know that my Sixers won't be going anywhere in the playoffs, I think I will be rooting for James and the LeBrons to get a ring. This hateration of LeBron has gotten way out of control. Folks, unless you live in Cleveland, Ohio, you have no business hating on LeBron. None. If you lost nine of your fingers you could count the guys in the NBA with a better game than LeBron with the finger you have left. Dude is that good.

So please fellows, let's ease up on LeBron and his man purse. You might not like it, but please don't knock the hustle.

Speaking of hustle, Flipper is still trying to hustle up votes in the republican primary. Tomorrow is Super Tuesday and I am pretty sure that Flipper will come out smelling like roses. Rick should have just walked away while he is ahead. The more he talked the further he dropped in the polls. And now, sadly, there is no coming back for the theocrat from Pistolvania. He got pounded on FOX NEWS of all places, and he had to come clean about the lie he told about Obama and four year colleges. Even his wife thinks that he is f&^***g up the campaign.

So yes folks, it will be Flipper representing the GOP come November. But he better wrap this thing up fast, because his negatives are rising faster than rush's johnson in an Oxycontin factory.

Finally, if Obama wins some of you Negroes might consider going back to Africa. In case you haven't heard gun sales are on the rise in A-merry-ca because folks are scared of the possibility of Obama winning four more years.

"Obama favors complete ban of handguns (except for the Black Panthers)."

Yipes! Mr. President, please bring the troops home, we might need them here to protect you and the rest of us Negroes in the very near future.

Mitt's Vick problem

Say it ain’t so Flipper. Please tell me you didn’t pull a Mike Vick move back in the day.
Personally, you all know how I feel about pets. I think you A-merry-cans tend to be a bit misguided with your unceasing devotion to your four legged friends. So I am not going to totally rip Mitt for strapping the family dog to the top of the car and hauling him down the highway all the way to Canada. (Poor Fido. 12 hours on the roof?! Mitt, are you sure you don't have a little black in you? )
Mitt, I think you just lost the pet lovers vote. But, then again, maybe not. A-merry-cans are very good at selective outrage. Michael Vick is not running on the republican ticket for president.

Anyway, of all the things that Mitt could have done in the past, this might be the worse. A-merry-cans will damn near forgive you for anything except messing with the family pet.

“Mitt is a little bit confused about living things. To him a corporation is a person. But, a dog is a piece of luggage."

Ouch! Mitt, there will be more of that to come.

Look, I know that Flipper would never take advice from the Field, but I would seriously recommend that he forgets about his Vain Capital issues for now and start focusing on nipping his Fido problem in the bud. Get your people to reach out to Vick's people ASAP. (Don't worry, he isn't doing anything right now. In case you didn't notice, the Eagles missed the playoffs.)Ask them to tell you the best way to suck up to the doggy crowd and get right on it.

Remember, Fido can't vote, but his owner can. How can you come home and look him in the eye after you pulled the lever for Romney? You can't. Fido knows that Mitt tortured one of his boys back in the day and he will never let you forget it.

I wonder how long it will be before I start seeing those dog owners for Obama bumper stickers?

God's candidates.

You know what pisses me off about some of these powerful Christians here in A-merry-ca? The fact that they have all this access to the big gal and they won't share it with the rest of us.

"Christian leader Pat Robertson is claiming that God gave him insight regarding who America’s next president will be. But the conservative media mogul isn’t willing to name names.

'I think He showed me about the next president, but I‘m not supposed to talk about that so I’ll leave you in the dark — probably just as well — but I think I know who it’s gonna be,” Robertson said on Tuesday‘s episode of the Christian Broadcast Network’s “700 Club.'

Aside from making this proclamation, he went on to read the message, word-for-word, that he claims to have heard directly from God. Here it is, in full:
Your country will be torn apart by internal stress. A house divided cannot stand. Your president holds a radical view of the direction of your country which is at odds with the majority. Expect chaos and paralysis. Your president holds a view which is at the odds with the majority — it’s a radical view of the future of this country, and so that‘s why we’re having this division. This is a spiritual battle which can only be won by overwhelming prayer. The future of the world is at stake because if America falls, there’s no longer a strong champion of freedom and a champion of the oppressed of the world. There must be an urgent call to prayer." [Source]

At least Pat is sharing God's thoughts with the rest of us. Pat must be a good guy. Can you imagine what some of us would do with that type of power?
"Pssst..., God, sorry to bug you again, but could you give me the numbers to that Powerball ticket?".

So anyway, the guys who I am sure that "God" would like to see in the White House are really going at it these days.

Ron Paul called Newt a "chicken hawk", Newt called Flipper a liar, and Flipper called Newt an abortion supporter. (Definitely a no no for a God candidate.)

Finally, it's time to say goodbye to Michele Bachmann. She gave it the old wingnut try, but, in the end, it just wasn't enough.

Sarah, it might be time to show off that new hairdo. The Tea Party needs you.

Kevin, Pat, and Mitt. A liar, a racist, and a flip flopper.

I would like the following story to serve as a public service announcement for all of you single guys out there getting your "playa" on:

"AP) — Police say a man's girlfriend unexpectedly came home just before another woman was due to visit, so he called police to report his new acquaintance as a burglar.

The Gazette reports that 24-year-old Kevin Gaylor was cited with a misdemeanor of false reporting to authorities.

Police say Gaylor had invited a woman he met online to come to his home after 3 a.m. Wednesday so they could get better acquainted, but his girlfriend came home first.

Police say that when the other woman arrived, Gaylor called police and falsely reported an intrusion.

Gaylor has an unlisted phone number and couldn't be reached for comment." [Story]

Some of you laughing at this story need to stop fronting. You know damn good and well that you have tried some dumb stuff before while trying to creep and got busted like Mr. Gaylor.

I feel sorry for his lady. Girlfriend, it might be time to dig up some old phone numbers.

I wonder who Pat Buchanan thinks he is fooling? Soon after dropping his racist xenophobic book, "Suicide Of A Superpower", he is trying to help you Negroes find work in D.C. by calling for us to rid ourselves of those evil immigrants.

Here are some excerpts from his wonderful book:

"Half a century after Martin Luther King envisioned a day when his children would be judged ‘not by the color of their skin, but the content of their character,’ journalists of color are demanding the hiring and promotion of journalists based on the color of their skin. Jim Crow is back. Only the color of the beneficiaries and the color of the victims have been reversed."

Those who believe the rise to power of an Obama rainbow coalition of peoples of color means the whites who helped to engineer it will steer it are deluding themselves. The whites may discover what it is like to ride in the back of the bus.

Not until the 1960s did courts begin to use the Fourteenth Amendment to impose a concept of equality that the authors of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, The Federalist Papers, and the Gettysburg Address never believed in. Before the 1960s, equality meant every citizen enjoyed the same constitutional rights and the equal protection of existing laws. Nothing in the Constitution or federal law mandated social, racial, or gender equality." [Source]

Wow! Some of you, like my friends over at Color of Change, are demanding that MSNBC dumps Pat from their lineup. Not me. I want my man right where I can see him.

Finally, you have to feel for Flipper Mitt. His aides should have kept him out of the Buckeye state. Mitt that thing you are wiping off the bottom off of your shoes is called SB 5, and you just stepped in it big time.

SB 5 is going down in Ohio, and you bailed on your base. Coming back the next day to say that you support it 110% only makes you look like a calculating career politician...wait, you are a calculating career politician. Never mind.

"By Their Fruits Ye Shall Know Them"

Oh my! I told you all that this was coming. Actually, it has been there all along. These good Christians on the right can only hold in their true feelings for so long.

"Shortly before noon, reporters at the Values Voter Summit were handed a blue sheet of paper with a news alert: "Southern Baptist Convention Leader to Endorse Perry at Values Voter Summit." Dr. Robert Jeffress, a Texas pastor, was all set to introduce his governor, and he had some thoughts. "Do we want a candidate who is a good, moral person, or one who is a born again follower of Jesus Christ?" Get it? "In Rick Perry, we have a candidate who is... a committed follower of Christ." Get it?"

I think I get it. Maybe if you told me a little more:

"Okay, I'll get it for you: Jeffress doesn't like Mormonism. Scott Keyes reminds me that Jeffress became briefly infamous in 2007 for his rants against Mitt Romney, and the unacceptability of a Mormon nominee. Romney, he said, was a "cult" member.
I believe we should always support a Christian over a non-Christian. The value of electing a Christian goes beyond public policies. . . . Christians are uniquely favored by God, [while] Mormons, Hindus and Muslims worship a false god. The eternal consequences outweigh political ones. It is worse to legitimize a faith that would lead people to a separation from God.

At 2:30, Jeffress took the stage, as promised, and repeated his statement, adding to it. Perry was a "genuine follower of Jesus Christ!"
Perry walked onstage and thanked Jeffress for the endorsement.
"He really knocked it out of the park!"
UPDATE: After the speeches, Jeffress walked through the hotel doing interview after interview about his take on Mormonism."Article 6 of the Constitution says government can impose no religious tests," he said. "But private citizens can impose all the tests they like!"
In the scrum, I asked if he'd expressed these concerns to Perry. "No. He is not aware of my views on Mormonism," he said, "nor am I aware of his."
What does Romney's religion say about his judgment?
"There are a lot of good people who are mislead," he said. "Being a fine person with a great family and great values does not get you to heaven." [Source]

Got it!. Is this the same guy who told Anderson Cooper that Mormons were a cult? Yep, I think it is.

Mitt, that's what you get for lying about his O ness.

"CNN’s John King called out Mitt Romney for making false claims about President Obama apologizing while making speeches abroad, something he has repeatedly claimed before. “While (Obama) has said some things that make Republicans mad and are fair game for criticism, President Obama has not apologized for America in the way Governor Romney and many other Republicans assert.”

Romney made the erroneous claim at the Citadel earlier today. “Let me make this very clear,” Romney said. “As president of the United States, I will devote myself to an American century and I will never, ever apologize for America.”
King explained that the Republican meme began with a Karl Rove editorial in April 2009, in which, Rove labeled Obama’s speeches abroad as an “apology tour.” “He has apologized on three continents for what he views as the sins of America and his predecessors,” Rove wrote.

“I can tell you firsthand the President bristles at the apology tour label and the idea he doesn’t view America as an exceptional nation,” King corrected. “He has, though, on several occasions…used very deferential language, conceding America’s mistakes, flaws and even arrogance. He insists being more humble was necessary in those early days because of the hits America’s image took and the Iraq War and what they call George W. Bush’s broader cowboy diplomacy image.”
[Source]

The term strange bedfellows comes to mind. I wonder if Mitt realizes how much his fruit is starting to taste like the one that Mr. Jeffress and his followers are eating.

Throw Kevin from the plane. And have you punched a republican today?

Heard any good plane stories lately? I have a couple:

The first one involves former presidential candidate, Mitt Romney. Seems my man was trying to get his fly on from the Winter Olympics when a fellow traveler decided to get rude with him. Rather than move his seat upright for take off, the man decided to go all Mike Tyson on the former governor. My goodness! What ever happened to civility in A-merry-ca?

"The man seated in front of Mrs. Romney pushed his seat back, and when the GOP politician asked that he put his seat upright for take off, the passenger became "physically violent," according to Canada's The Globe and Mail.
The ex-gov did not retaliate, his spokesman said, as the airline crew intervened. The plane returned to the gate, the man was ejected, and the flight resumed."

[He became "physically violent", and Mitt didn't retaliate? Republicans!]

Look, I don't like anything about Mitt Romney, and he probably came off as a whiny jerk to the guy. But that is not an excuse to go punching out a stranger on a plane because he tells you to move your seat forward for take-off.

Which begs the question: Do you think the guy knew who Mitt Romney was? And doesn't he [Romney]have enough loot to fly in his own G4? What was he doing flying commercial? I guess he wanted to show that he is a man of the people. Mitt, men of the people don't get clocked by the people on planes. [Story]

And the other plane story involves weight. Seems film Director, Kevin Smith, was kicked off a Southwest Airlines flight because he was too fat. Yes, too fat. The pilot kindly asked one of Jersey's finest to take his ample behind off his plane. Apparently Mr. Smith failed to purchase two seats, which I think is the policy for overweight people.

Now I have seen pictures of Kevin Smith, and I have seen bigger people on planes before. I mean give me a break, it's not like the plane couldn't take off because Smith was in it. All those bags in the luggage compartment and they are worried about 300 more pounds? I bet the flight wasn't full, they could have moved him to another seat with an empty one beside him. Come on Southwest, that's not cool picking on big people. ( Actually, it's not cool picking on scantily clad people, either.)

The poor guy was embarrassed, which led to this Tweet:

"Dear @SouthwestAir - I know I'm fat, but was Captain Leysath really justified in throwing me off a flight for which I was already seated?"

No Kevin, he wasn't. But look at the bright side, you now have some material for your next movie.

And after all is said and done, this story might have a happy ending:

"Give Southwest credit for a quick response to a potential crisis. The airline apologized yesterday to Smith, gave him a $100 voucher, and issued a statement on its blog."

That was nice. I just hope that Kevin doesn't use the voucher to buy food. [Story]
