Two turkeys!

"Glenn Beck paid a visit to his old stomping grounds on Tuesday night, talking to Bill O’Reilly about the election. Beck recalled his prediction that Mitt Romney would win and offered an explanation of why he ended up being wrong. Part of the problem, he said, is disillusioned voters.

“What happened there that you weren’t anticipating?” O’Reilly asked.

“I anticipated actually people coming out, you know,” Beck replied. “We actually went down in some numbers.”

When O’Reilly noted that the turnout was more than enough for Romney to win, Beck offered his take on the problem. “The parties have gotten to the place to where I don’t think anybody believes either side,” he said. “They just don’t see a difference.” People, even in his own family, Beck added, don’t believe one side will be better for the country than the other.

But that simply isn’t true, he said, noting that the 2012 election was “most stark choice” the country’s had. O’Reilly agreed.

He then asked Beck about the conservatives, including Beck himself, who predicted a Romney victory — noting their surprise when Romney actually lost. Beck said he’d gone to bed feeling confident the night before, telling his wife he couldn’t wait for Romney to win so “we can relax a little bit and our life will settle down.”

Asked if he sees the outcome as “a divine providence situation,” Beck said everything will work out. The pair agreed: It’s all going to work out, but there’s “a lot of pain” coming."

Sorry fellows, like all the other turkeys this time of year, your pain has already come and gone. Now it's time for the rest of us to just enjoy you.

How terribly awful very bad for them...knowing with certainty the US prefers AfAm competence to wingnut wite blather.
While some may whine that we instructed our government to continue Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid and many other programs, others are quite aware that Bain and their ilk have pilfered pensions and benefits...and the last resort is our government.
Perhaps one might ask why these paragons of unfettered greed are so eager to take away pensions and benefits.

Instead of schadenfreude, I have relief...that the idiocy was kept from the levers of power and we might just avoid a return of the horrors of the past.

Obama's reelection is going to result in pain for almost everyone, especially those who depend on the government. The only question is whether it is going to be merely economic pain, or if it will turn out to be much, much worse.

This will not end well.

this is true. Our civil liberties would have been gone under any President but Obama was the best choice because the race thing took our eyes off the real issues at hand.America will soon be worse than Nazi Germany and Obama ain't the only one to blame. They were all in it together all along. What Bush couldn't make legal Obama did.He was clearly the best choice for the elite http://www.aclu.org/national-security/president-obama-signs-indefinite-detention-bill-law

Brother Field, thanks for this post. I thought Beck voted for Obama this time around. I had no idea he voted for Romney, since Beck has always been on the winning side.

Well, you can't win them all, all of the time. God bless Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly. Without them, the media would be less.

Dear Brother Field, your post, titled "Two Turkeys" is an insult to two great men. Have you no decency? Do you realize how you must make us look?

In all seriouslness, we Negroes can't afford attitudes like yours. Let me suggest that you go see "Lincoln" as soon as possible and you WILL come away feeling like Jesse Lee Peterson...grateful for being a black American instead of a racist black American.

Field, I know you have a good heart but I have noticed that you are easily influenced by that sorry sack, PC. Stay away from him, cause he is nothing but trouble.

Field, life is too short to be going against the very people who have made you life nice and easy.

Office of the DNI cut "al Qaeda" reference from Benghazi talking points, and CIA, FBI signed off

...
However, an intelligence source tells CBS News correspondent Margaret Brennan the links to al Qaeda were deemed too "tenuous" to make public, because there was not strong confidence in the person providing the intelligence. CIA Director David Petraeus, however, told Congress he agreed to release the information -- the reference to al Qaeda -- in an early draft of the talking points, which were also distributed to select lawmakers.

"The intelligence community assessed from the very beginning that what happened in Benghazi was a terrorist attack." DNI spokesman Shawn Turner tells CBS News. That information was shared at a classified level -- which Rice, as a member of President Obama's cabinet, would have been privy to.

An intelligence source says the talking points were passed from the CIA to the DNI, where the substantive edits were made, and then to FBI, which made more edits as part of "standard procedure."

Criticism of Rice includes racial 'code words'

...
Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., told CNN on Tuesday that some Republican claims that Rice is "incompetent" may be racial in nature.
...
"These are code words," Clyburn said, adding that "these kinds of terms that those of us — especially those of us who were born and raised in the South -- we've been hearing these little words and phrases all of our lives and we get insulted by them."

"He told us that Sarah Palin was a very competent person to be vice president of the United States. That ought to tell you a little bit about his judgment."

OLD QUESTIONS ABOUT OBAMA RETURN AND WHERE IS LARRY SINCLAIR..

WND EXCLUSIVE
Claim: Obama hid 'gay life' to become president
Chicago homosexual community shocked he could keep it secret
Published: 09/11/2012 at 9:53 PM

A prominent member of Chicago’s homosexual community claims Barack Obama’s participation in the “gay” bar and bathhouse scene was so well known that many who were aware of his lifestyle were shocked when he ran for president and finally won the White House.

“It was preposterous to the people I knew then to think Obama was going to keep his gay life secret,” said Kevin DuJan, who was a gossip columnist in Chicago for various blogs when Obama was living in the city as a community organizer and later a state senator.

“Nobody who knew Obama in the gay bar scene thought he could possibly be president,” said DuJan.

DuJan, founder and editor of the Hillary Clinton-supporting website HillBuzz.org, told WND he has first-hand information from two different sources that “Obama was personally involved in the gay bar scene.”

“If you just hang out at these bars, the older guys who have been frequenting these gay bars for 25 years will tell you these stories,” DuJan said. “Obama used to go to the gay bars during the week, most often on Wednesday, and they said he was very much into older white guys.”

Obama, DuJan said, is “not heterosexual and he’s not bisexual. He’s homosexual.”

Investigative journalist Wayne Madsen, who worked with the National Security Agency from 1984 to 1988 as a Navy intelligence analyst, confirmed DuJan’s claims.

“It is common knowledge in the Chicago gay community that Obama actively visited the gay bars and bathhouses in Chicago while he was an Illinois state senator,” Madsen told WND.

WND also spoke with a member of the East Bank Club in Chicago, who confirmed Obama was a member there and was known to be a homosexual. The upscale fitness club, which has some 10,000 members, is not a “gay” facility. But it’s one of a number of places identified by the Chicago homosexual community as a “gay gym,” where homosexuals meet and engage in sexual activity.

In April, WND reported a federal judge dismissed a libel case against Larry Sinclair, a homosexual who claimed Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign had paid to rig a polygraph test regarding Sinclair’s sensational charge that he had sex and used cocaine twice with Obama while Obama was an Illinois state senator. Sinclair tells his story in “Barack Obama & Larry Sinclair: Cocaine, Sex, Lies & Murder.”

Now why would Representative Clyburn think that? Do people really equate the word "incompetent" with "black?

Why would that be?

Poor, poor Whitey. Even at this stage in life you haven't learned a thing. No one is agreeing with you, you are being dismissed.

You don't ask a leech what it thinks or argue with them, their motives are clear. You simply pick them off and squash them to stop them from sucking your blood.
Blood that they require to survive.

Other parasites are smarter than you, they by nature know transmitting diseases and weakening the host or the host becoming aware of the parasite will end their life - you however clearly don't have a clue.

Brother Field, you know fully well that "us" is us...everybody knows that, including Whites. Why must you pretend that you don't know? Why jig around the truth?

In any case, have a good Thanksgiving, you deserve it. And thanks for being here everyday with "us."

You have a good turkey day as well.

An off topic comment ...

Earlier today, my kids told me to go stuff it, so I am off to the kitchen now with 2 boxes of Stove Top.

I am now the center of gravity for my family – the one around whom everyone congregates (and sometimes aggravates) – so tomorrow I will be flinging the bird (sliced turkey) to everyone.

If a very large bird appears at your window on Thanksgiving Day, have no fear. Its probably a peeping tom. Happy Thanksgiving.

This business of granting "pardons" to a few especially photogenic turkeys sends out a morally dubious message, namely, that if you are cute enough, you will get special treatment not available to others. (Yes, I know....why state the obvious here. We are talking about morals and teaching of same.) The fact is that for every turkey that is pardoned, another must be selected to take his place and die for the sake of our dinners. A more honest practice would be to give thanks that we have these birds to kill and eat, and do just that. Kill them and eat them. The pardon is a lie.
