Maybe he should just play football.

Richard Sherman 2014.jpgI love when athletes speak their minds, I really do. Most of them are heroes to many of us in society, and when they take a social stance on issues of the day people usually listen. I think that we should encourage athletes to speak their minds on social issues and not be like that fraud, Michael Jordan, who only cared about his bottom line and his phony brand.

Anyway, I said all that because I want to write a little bit about Richard Sherman and his comments about the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement.

In case you have been living under a rock, here is some of what Mr. Sherman had to say:

"I think as long as we have black-on-black crime and, you know, one black man killing another … if black lives matter, then it should matter all the time. You should never let somebody get killed — that’s somebody’s son, that’s somebody’s brother, that’s somebody’s friend. So you should always keep that in mind.”

Poor Richard just doesn't get it. Of course we have pathologies in our community, as well as people who are all too willing to take the life of another person of color for whatever reason. But that doesn't excuse those who are sworn to uphold the law behaving like (and worse in some cases) the criminals  they swore to protect us from. It doesn't excuse treating all young men of color like criminals and acting accordingly towards them.

What makes Richard Sherman (and others like him, who use this specious and flawed argument time and time again) believe that if we act better ourselves and become "perfect" citizens things will get better for us in the long run?

It's easy to give in to the urge to pander to the majority population because he knows that while he plays football --and even after--- life will be so much easier for him. All he has to do is say something stupid under the guise of giving us straight talk and America will love him for it. Charles Barkley could write a book about how to be that Negro. He has gotten very rich doing it. He is probably the most inarticulate broadcaster in the history of broadcasting, but he will always have a job because he is that Negro who tells black folks things that white folks wish they could say. (Publicly.)

But I digress.

Richard Sherman must have forgotten that it was these same BLM folks defending him when America called him out for being a loud mouth thug for simply letting out his emotions in the heat of competition. America thought that he was a just street thug and not a thoughtful Stanford educated graduate. It took a lot of those same BLM folks jumping on social media to remind America of that fact.

This is where I have to give credit to ESPN host, Michael Smith, for checking Richard Sherman and giving him an education about the society in which he lives.

"This is so counter-productive because it undermines the message and the movement that is Black Lives Matter,” Smith said. He continued to refute Sherman by saying that Black people already care about crimes within their community, but that there was a difference between that and the accusations of racial profiling and unfair treatment from officials the movement tries to address.

“Black-on-black crime has nothing to do with crimes against black people by the state,” Smith went on. “I’m just a little disappointed to hear Richard Sherman speak on that and validate the people who think that. We hear that enough every day.”' [Source]

Go ahead and spike the ball Mr. Smith, that was a touchdown.

Who is the real "scumbag"?

I loved Kenny Smith's eloquent open letter to his TNT colleague, Charles Barkley. Barkley needed a history lesson and a reality check. And, judging from the letter, Smith gave it to him.

Smith wondered why white Americans look to Barkley's insights on matters of race when he is not a civil rights leader or a politician.

It's simple. Barkley is a buffoon who tells white folks what they want to hear. Chuck, they are laughing at you not with you. He says outrageous things and slams his own race under the guise of being brave and not being afraid to speak his mind.

Well sadly, there is nothing courageous about it, because it is the easier and safer position to take.

Barkley called the looters in Ferguson "scumbags", and he admonished them for rioting and breaking the law.

This from a guy who spit on a little girl, lost over 10 million dollars due to a gambling problem, threw a patron through a bar window, and he was also busted for DUI while cruising for sex with a prostitute. There is more of course, but my hands will get tired of all the writing I would have to do. And yet Chuck calls the looters in Ferguson "scumbags". Wow! Pot meet kettle.

Meanwhile, in Dayton, Ohio, some of Barkley's buddies in law enforcement were caught doing something really despicable.

"The world isn’t fully convinced that there needs to be retroactive thought process on who we allow to police our citizens, look no further than the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department in Dayton, OH.Not too far from where 12-year-old Tamir Rice was gunned down, five Ohio deputies of the force are being probed for some serious racially charged text messages, said to be made while on duty.

In a statement on Tuesday, Sheriff Phil Plummer said that two of the five deputies — Sheriff’s Capt. Thomas J. Flanders and Detective Michael J. Sollenberger — had been placed on indefinite paid administrative leave starting on Dec. 1. According to WDTN, Flanders is in charge of the Montgomery County Jail, and Sollenberger works with the internal affairs unit and is a member of the SWAT team. The three other deputies had not been identified by name, and had not been suspended. Sheriff Plummer said that the deputies sent racial messages on their personal phones between November 2011 and January 2013.

Some messages were sent while the men were on duty, and some messages were directed at African-American deputies, he said. “The N-word was used several times as well as other racial slurs and jokes,” Plummer noted. “Racism will not be tolerated in this office" [Source]

OK then Sheriff. If you say so.

Then there is the troubling development in the Tamir Rice story.

No, not that that the cops repeatedly lied until they found out that there was a video tape of the shooting, but the revelation that the rookie policeman who shot the child in that park was unfit to be a police officer.

“Due to this dangerous loss of composure during live range training and his inability to manage this personal stress, I do not believe Ptl Loehmann shows the maturity needed to work in our employment,” Polak concludes. “For these reasons, I am recommending he be released from the employment of the city of Independence. I do not believe time, nor training, will be able to change or correct these deficiencies.”

If only the city of Cleveland had done their due diligence like they did in the city of Independence, Tamir Rice might still be alive today.

Jive talking.

Like Jesse Jackson when it comes to politics, Charles Barkley has been the go to guy on matters of race when it attaches itself to sports for white folks here in America.

This is sad, because it speaks to the frivolous and shallow nature of the understanding of racial issues in America by the Majority population.

Charles Barkley is nothing more than a clown and a buffoon. He is a guy who subjects himself to ridicule by participating in the most vulgar display of abject coonery on a regular basis for the entertainment of his white audience.

Watching him shuck and jive with his fellow studio hosts (who are not much better) during those NBA telecasts is always painful to watch. But at least we know that he is there to shuck and jive. When he attempts to get serious and speak on matters of race it is cringe worthy and embarrassing.

Not to white folks, of course, but to any black person in America who views the issue of race as more than just a sound bite on the radio about "unintelligent" blacks bringing the rest of us down.

Sir Charles made this grand pronouncement recently after stories surfaced that the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks was acting too white for some of his black teammates. (A story we still can't verify since the alleged sources of the story remains anonymous.)

And let me get this out of the way right now: If this is in fact true, the black players in that locker room who made such an ignorant statement are just as ignorant as Charles Barkley.

You can knock Russell Wilson for how he is playing on Sundays, but not how he acts off the field, or the way he speaks or chooses to carry himself.

For the record, I am quite sure that most black people in America would agree with that position.

But back to Charles.

He could have simply stated his opposition to what some of those Seahawks players allegedly said the way I just did, but he did not. Instead he chose to declare that ignorant and "unintelligent" blacks are holding the rest of us back.

This of course is ironic coming from a man who needs English sub-titles when he speaks on television. There are times when I wonder if this worldly college educated man who has made millions of dollars in his life actually left Leeds, Alabama.

Just trying to listen to him talk is a struggle, and yet he has the nerve to call other blacks "unintelligent." Now if that ain't the pot calling the kettle black. (Pun intended)

Sadly he is allowed. Because like the Larry Riley character in A Soldier's Story, C.J. Memphis, Sir Charles is the kind of Negro that gives certain whites comfort. He fits the stereotype of the cooning barely literate jokester, who is not afraid to call out his own and say things that the white man wishes he could without repercussions. He will always have the microphone in front of him to speak on racial issues, because what he says will never be viewed as uncomfortable to certain people.

Sir Charles won't talk about the reason that blacks in places like Ferguson, Missouri are "unintelligent". He won't talk about the dysfunctional families and a lack of a proper education that creates generational poverty. And he certainly will not talk about a political system in place that's meant to keep things just the way they are.

So what does he do? He bemoans the fact that they are holding the rest of us back.

I will close by telling Charles Barkley what Adolph Caesar's character told C.J. Memphis in A Soldier's Story:

"Whole lot of people just can’t seem to fit in to where things seem to be going. Like you, CJ. See, the Black race can’t afford you no more. There used to be a time, we’d see someone like you singin’, clownin’, yassuh-bossin’… and we wouldn’t do anything. Folks liked that. You were good. Homey kind of nigger. When they needed somebody to mistreat, call a name or two, they paraded you. Reminded them of the good old days. Not no more. The day of the Geechee is gone, boy. And you’re going with it. "

Poor Charles. If he would only do a little introspection he would realize that he is closer to all those Negroes that he likes to complain about than the rest of us.

The N word, slavery, Chuck and Sarah.

I was watching Isiah Thomas and Grant Hill's eloquent take down of the "N" word, and while I was proud of these two former athletes having such a grasp of their history and the wonderful way they articulated it, I couldn't help but wonder about buffoons  like Charles Barkley and Shaq who openly defended the use of the N word as used by Matt Barnes (bad) and Richie [no more] Incognito (worse).

This latest episode of racial cluelessness involving Sir Charles got me wondering why he is so embraced and beloved by folks in the majority population.

Of course I suspect that I know why: Charles is that black guy who makes white folks laugh and feel comfortable about using words like the "N" word in his company. I wonder how often Sly Stallone would use the "N" word around Charles.

Charles supposedly likes to shock us and speak his mind on matters of race, but the truth is, there is nothing shocking about what Charles Barkley has to say about racial issues. In fact, when it comes to Charles, it's all pretty predictable.

"I just watched NBA (on TNT Thursday night) and was appalled to hear Charles Barkley and Shaquille Oneal say that it was okay to use the “N” word on national television.

It was so crazy. I just sat there looking at the television dumbfounded. I could not believe the words that were coming out of Charles mouth. He said it with purpose..."

Of course he did, white America was watching. Charles has to keep them smiling.

Speaking of the "N" word, I bet George Junius Stinney Jr. heard it a lot growing up in South Carolina. And I bet the members of the all white jury that sentenced him to death used the "N" word a lot as well.

Unfortunately Junius Stinney Jr. was only 14 years old when he was strapped to the death chair and fried. That all white jury made sure that he would never hear the "N" word-- or any words-- ever again.

Now, thankfully, some historians are trying to clear his name. We are talking about South Carolina here, so I am not expecting much to come of these efforts, but I am glad that people like Ray Brown are at least trying.

Finally, I don't agree with Martin Bashir's harsh opinion of Sarah Palin, but I do believe that girlfriend has been on somewhat of a roll of late. Glen Rice's former liaison sans lendemain made less than flattering remarks about the Pope, and compared the national debt to slavery.

Of course, as is to be expected, she apologized to the Pope. She did not, however, apologize for her slavery remarks. Sarah wants Catholics to like her, they might buy her books. Unfortunately, though, Sarah could care less about Negroes not named Glen Rice.

Sadly, she doubled down on her ignorant slavery comments.

Something about apologizing to Negroes doesn't sit well with Sarah.

Trying to find common ground.

Let me start this post by acknowledging the attack of that young man in Florida by three young men of color. Their actions were reprehensible and wrong, and they should be punished to the fullest extent available under the law.

Having said that, the young man they attacked is still alive, and contrary to what wingnuts would have us believe, the attack on him was not racially motivated. I know conservatives are playing the race card, but sorry, that's just not the case here. And just because some black punks attack a person who happens to be white, it does not mean that Rev. Inc. (I should have trademarked that) should make a public statement about it. So please stop calling for Al Sharpton and Rev. Jackson to speak up for the young man who was attacked on that bus. The young man has plenty of you white folks to do that for him.

So anyway, in my endless search to find common ground with these racial issues that divides us in America, I am always looking for folks on the other side who can meet me halfway. I thought I found one in Kevin McCullough, but then I read his entire screed and.....

"Despite all of the genuine hopes, by millions of people, of every tribe and tongue from every corner of this planet, an excruciatingly sad reality is being made perfectly clear.

The issue of race--and more specifically America's brand of racism--will never be defeated.

As the father of a multi-racial family, this reality strikes at the disappointment my soul feels about many things in our nation today, but none more personal.
Some who see the headline to this piece will immediately assume I've taken a position in this fight. Because I merely observe what is evident, and state my observation publicly. Some whites will believe I am attacking them. Many African-Americans will believe I am championing their grievances. The truth is neither, the truth is both, and the truth will never be admitted.
For it is impossible to cure a societal sickness, when parties don't wish for it to be cured!

And while there are some pockets where racial bias presents itself in the white to black reality of our culture, the overwhelming abusers of race, the manipulators of skin color, and the purveyors of hate based on ignorance and ill will--are actually those who claim they are fighting against it.
The case of Travon Martin's death is the complete evidence of that last assertion.

No where, was there an ounce of evidence that the man who shot Travon followed him, reported him, or defended himself against him--even for his very life--based on the color of Travon's skin. Yet "civil rights 'leaders'"--who in reality have more moral authority being a clown in a local circus than thoughtful and genuine purveyors of racial understanding--manipulated every element of fact in the case to convince the sleeping media--who refused to do their homework--that the man who shot Travon was racially motivated, racially biased, and hateful of races different than his.

None of which was proven in the elongated case, coverage during, or clownery following the conclusion.

Simply put, the Sharpton, Jackson, Holder, and Obama rhetoric--though stating it was dressed in compromise--actually was intended to incite further anger, resentment, and furtherance of the untruths told for months in the case.
So if the "civil rights 'leadership'" is throwing gas on the heated embers, how else will those--who choose not to investigate facts for themselves but accept these voices wholesale--react?

The accumulation of power in the minds of the four leaders mentioned above is more important than truly trying to find resolution, understanding, and accuracy.

Another bit of evidence in the matter is that when voices of reason do speak (i.e. Lisa Fritsch, Charles Barkley, Dr. William Cosby, et. al), based on seeing the facts for themselves and then urging calm they are shouted down. Or in Dr. Cosby's case--"Reverend" Jesse Jackson in a moment of candidness--utters desires to remove Cosby's anatomical manhood.

Also readily evident to any who would be honest is that when there are voices who point out that current solutions being touted for suffering neighborhoods are not working, squeals of "racism", come the same grievance inciters. So when a popular commentator on the largest news network points out the inconsistency of punishing a Latin American man harshly for an accidental death, while more or less ignoring the character, grooming, and integrity of African-American men who go on killing rampages in wholly African-American controlled neighborhoods is at a minimum hypocritical.

The truth--the cold hard truth--is that this cadre of voices (Sharpton, Holder, Jackson, Obama, et al.) benefit far more by practicing racism in theory, rhetoric, and actions, than by ever seeking honest resolutions. They continue to be propped up by those who keep themselves intellectually shallow of fact. And a handful of media outlets--mostly operated by NBC--seem to pander on the issue instead of seeking intellectually rigorous, heartfelt, passionate solutions to the problems that face the nation.

This combination of dishonesty, access, and support now furthers racist outcomes and those involved are directly contributing to the anger, vandalism, and violence that follows in its wake.

As the father of a son whose skin is darker than any of the men mentioned in this article, my fear is what consequences he faces, because of their vanity, selfishness, hubris, and greed.

See in order to end racism, you must not merely tolerate people who are different than you--but begin to truly honor, serve, and love them.
And it is the absence of honor in the character of today's "civil rights 'leaders'" that betrays their true intention: to practice racism, and to profit from it for themselves indefinitely." [Source]

Nice try Kevin, but by attacking "today's civil rights leaders" you have declared your allegiance to your ideological soul mates and you are not an honest broker. You have taken a position in this fight, and declared your fidelity to a particular point of view. Clearly your "hopes" are not as "genuine as you allege.

I feel sorry for your son. It's not the "vanity, selfishness, hubris, and greed" of the civil rights leaders you should worry about; it's your own.

Some thoughts and questions.

This weekend I am heading down to Ocean City, Maryland to spend some time in a bad investment that Mrs. Field and I got into. I will have my trusted lap top with me so my blogging won't suffer.

Anywho, just for this post, I have some questions and some thoughts. Hey, it's Friday, I always get reflective on a Friday.

Like, for instance, why can't Charles Barkley take a broadcasting class or get a speech coach?

Does the fact that I like to watch Telemundo and speak very little Spanish mean that I am a misogynistic jerk?

If I were a white guy, would I recognize white privilege?

Does Dick Cheney ever get his freak on with Lynne? And do I need to seek help for even thinking such thoughts?

This is an old one, but true: Isn't it ironic that we drive on a Parkway, and park in a Driveway? I am just saying.

Why do black people spend so much money on bullshit? (Like shit for their cars, for instance)

Why do white people spend so much money on their pets?

Why is Texas even still here? (Oh, and governor good hair, you are welcome for that little stimulus money we gave you to fix up your crib.)

Why haven't we learned who killed Biggy and Tupac?

Am I the only one who thinks that Third World is the greatest band ever?

How long does Nancy Pelosi take to put on her makeup?

And speaking of learning to talk: Hey Roland, you might want to look up the speech coach Charles ends up getting.

There really ought to be a law against short sleeve dress shirts.

What the hell did we do before cell phones?

I don't ever want to see another pregnant woman standing at a bus stop by herself.

Speaking of buses; "Get On The Bus" by Spike Lee is a very underrated movie.

Is it just me, or do you all get the same feeling that [some] republicans are just praying that we get attacked before the reign of O is over?

Will we ever know how good Obama's b-ball game is? (Who wants to really body check the president of these divided states?)

Whatever happened to Stedman Graham? And why didn't that dumb Negro marry Oprah?

I miss being a troll, talking shit, and picking e-fights on wingnut blogs.

Why is Angela McGlowan afraid to take up my challenge?

I know she is 52, but Debbie Morgan could still cure my Lark, jones.

Why don't you A-merry-cans like soccer? I can't wait to get my season tickets to the new Philadelphia MSL team.

Am I the only one who thinks that Jamie Foxx had some good points about Miley Cyrus?

Whatever happened to Keith Washington?

And finally, why does it seem like it takes forever to drive across a little ass state like Delaware?

I am out.

"You aint all the way black"

As someone who loves to speak uncomfortable truths myself, I have to say that I have no problem with Gary Sheffield when he speaks his mind. Sheffield is to baseball, what Francis Holland has become to the blogosphere. I love the guys honesty, his blunt talk, and the way he can straight stroke a baseball. Believe me, as a long time Detroit Tigers fan (don't ask how) this is important to me.

So Gary Sheffield has been "stirring the pot" again. This time by calling out the Yankees and their Manager, Joe Torre, for their double standard when it comes to their treatment of black players. Sheffield, because of his abilities as a player, and because of his veteran status has been acting as an unofficial spokesperson for the African American players in Major League Baseball . His comments about the passive Latin players and baseball's more willingness to deal with them, was also controversial and drew criticism from a majority white sports public tired of hearing about race. They wish the talk of race in their beloved sports world would just go away like one of Sheffield's home runs deep into Tiger stadium.

But why should it? Why shouldn't Sheffield be able to speak his mind? Every great athlete who makes a Brinks Truck load of money can't be like Mike, or Magic, or, for that matter, Tiger. No, some people in America, regardless of how much money they make actually call bullshit when they see it. For the record, I despise Michael Jordon as a person. I think he is a sellout, and is someone who turned his back on his people so that little white boys in Iowa can have his posters on their walls, and little black boys in inner city America can kill and rob each other for his $150 branded sneakers. Now he spends his retirement running from golf course to golf course gambling away his money, and playing O.J. (think about it) from one resort to another. He and his side kick, the round mound of buffoonery, also known as Sir Charles, are beloved by white folks because they never say things to really make them (white folks) uncomfortable. Charles tries from time to time, but he is viewed more as a big joke, and is never taken seriously by anyone who listen to him. Sheffield, on the other hand, is viewed as an "angry black man" ---at least that's how one local sports talk show described him today--- and thus he makes white folks uncomfortable. The response to his statements are often swift and vitriolic. "The guy makes millions and he is still angry, Sheffield should just shut up and play, he makes good money what is he bitching about, he makes more money that I will ever see in my life, and I am white." (God forbid a black man does that) Nothing puzzles white folks more than a black man who makes a lot of money but still bitches about inequities in society. To them, money is the great equalizer and should cure all woes real and perceived. Sheffield was confronted with another popular comeback when the uncomfortable issue of race is raised. Well if the Yankees are so bad why is it that a black player -Derek Jeter- gets the mega star treatment from them. (If America is so bad for black people how come Oprah is so rich?) Sheffield's response was that Jeter wasn't "all the way black", that he is both "black and white" true statements because Jeter is the child of a mixed marriage. Yet I am sure he will be pillaged for that one as well.

Now let me say for the record that I don't know anything about what goes on behind the scenes with the Yankees or Joe Torre. Sheffield said that other black players had an issue with Torre because "they weren't treated like everyone else". They were called out and "disrespected" while the white players weren't. This may or may not have been true. But I will say this; if it is true I wouldn't be surprised. What, cause they are the Yankees they are above racism? Bullshit! When it comes to racism everybody is a fucking suspect.

So keep speaking your mind Mr. Sheffield, no matter how uncomfortable it makes people. The other field Negroes out here have your back, and we are glad you make other people uncomfortable. Hell they should be, America is an uncomfortable place, and baseball is as American as apple pie.

"A White Woman And A Cadillac"

" Rich boy sellin crackdope niggaz wanna jack shit tight no slack just bought a Cadilac (Throw some D's on dat bitch)" ~~~Alabama Rapper Rich Boy-Throw Some D's~~~

Back in the day one of my friends had a response to that standard service question: "Is there anything else I can get you sir?" It was; "Yes, a white woman and a Cadillac". Invariably it would take the questioner aback, especially if they happened to be of the white persuasion. But it never failed, after a long night of hanging out we would go to the drive through, make our order, and after the question "Is there anything else I can get you....well, that was his cue. We all thought it was funny then, and much to my chagrin, every now and then I still find myself repeating it under my breath whenever I am asked that question.

Of course, I don't think it's so funny now. Not because I have all of a sudden outgrown sophnmorish college pranks and actions. But because I have considered the significance of what my friend was saying and its social implications. Now you have to understand, my friend is a child of the South -born and raised in Louisiana-and even though I always thought he was joking, I always kind of wondered in the back of my mind if he was serious. Of course he couldn't be could he? It was after all, just a joke, a clever answer to throw off the questioner and get a good laugh at his or her expense. But now.....I don't know. Could there have been something to that? You always wondered if growing up in the South with all the taboos and painful history that goes along with white women, he wasn't effected in some way. I would like to think not, but you never know.

Now my friend is a very successful attorney in South Louisiana, a beautiful home on the river, complete with a boat slip, and a theater room straight out of cribs. And to top it all off, a beautiful Nubian wife who bore him a beautiful son. So this particular friend did alright for himself, in spite of his long standing (I think) faux desire to have a white woman and the Cadillac. Many successful black men from the South did just the opposite. They married white, even though they could have married some of the finest sisters the good lord ever created. I will never forget, listening to some of the running jokes about Charles Barkley and his blond , not so attractive wife when he was here in Philly. Poor Charles did what so many other brothers who have "made it" do, he married white. But rather than marry a white woman that every one could agree was ...well...I hate to be sexist, fine! Charles, like so many other brothers went the "plain Jane" route. I only mention Sir Charles, because I wonder, if like my friend, a fellow son of the South, he didn't always want a white woman and a Cadillac. And when he came to the bright lights of the NBA, and Philly, the first one that looked his way became his wife.

Believe me folks Charles is not alone. I remember watching the aforementioned "cribs" once, and there was Jason Taylor of the Miami Dolphins showing off his white wife, and his Escalade. Watching it I thought to myself; damn, he got his white woman and a Cadillac. His crib has all the right accessories.

Anyway, the white woman is one thing, but the Cadillac or the black man's fascination with his cars is quite another. An old black man once told me this: "You can live in your car, but you can't drive your house". His point was, that your car is more important than your house. How pathetic is that? An object that depreciates the moment it leaves the car lot, in his mind was more valuable than real estate, something that appreciates, and is the most valuable thing most of us will ever own. But you know the old joke about all the Cadillacs and Mercedes in the ghetto, parked in front of run down apartments that are worth less than the rims on the damn rides. This fascination us black folks have with our whips is scary. And I have no idea why we are like this about our rides or all the other materialistic crap we worship. I wish I could trace it to some historical and deep rooted sociological cause. But I can't, and it's driving me crazy.

The white woman thing... yeah on a lot of levels I get it. For so long she was the forbidden fruit,-some of our brothers have been lynched and beaten to death just for looking- so now that these brothers can get with missy, they jump at the chance. Or, they parade her around to piss of the "man". So I get all that, but it doesn't make it right. Now before you go jumping all over the field, I am not saying two people-black and white- can't meet each other, and after getting to know each other fall in love. After all, "love is blind", and that type of relationship, well, the field is all for it. Now would I prefer if his black ass had gotten with a sister? Of course I would, but hey, if they are both sincere about their feelings, I say go for it. But don't hook up with missy for some of the other reasons I stated, that just says that you are seriously f****d up in the head. And honestly, if you do that, you are that same type of brother that will want the Caddy to show the world what you are rolling in. ("Just bought a Cadilac")

After I finish posting, I am going to call my buddy, and ask him if he is happy now. Because I know he didn't get the white woman; and the last time I checked he wasn't driving a Cadillac but a Ford F-150. Nahhhh, I better not, because I am scared of what he might say, and I want to remain friends.
