A big baby and a big fraud.

*
A couple of things have me seeing red tonight: The first one has to do with the lying scumbags from the insurance lobby and their last ditch effort to influence the politricksters who will vote on the Baucus version of the health care reform bill tomorrow. These are the same people who made nice with his O ness just a few months ago and promised to work with him to get health reform passed. Now look at them. O man, you might be from Chicago, but you still have a lot to learn about dirty politics.

This latest report from the health insurance lobby group (AHIP) claims that premiums will shoot up if the proposed health care bills happens to pass. Can you say bullshit boys and girls? Please keep in mind that the firm that prepared this report is the same one that prepared that bogus report for big tobacco a few years back. The folks over at Radio Rwanda, as is to be expected, is all over this report, and they are treating it as if it is a legitimate study. I am sure that was the intent when the dirty rotten scoundrels put it out there in the first place. And, to be fair, it's not only them; other main stream media outlets have been giving legitimacy to this study as well.

How much do you want to bet that the spineless politricksters in Washington will be quoting from this bogus report as they run for cover? Thank goodness for baby Alex; that cute Colorado baby who the insurance companies refused to insure because he has a pre-existing condition. Yep, seems you can't be a chubby baby (17 pounds @ 4 months) if you want to get covered in A-merry-ca anymore. That is considered a pre-existing condition to big insurance. Hopefully A-merry-ca is paying more attention to baby Alex than the AHIP study. If they do that it will open up some eyes, and maybe, just this once, we can actually get something right in this country.

The second thing that pissed me off tonight was watching yet another house Negro, Stephen A. Smith, (Or as he is affectionately known here in Philly:"Screaming" A. Smith.) defend Rush Limbaugh and his right to buy an NFL team. According to house Negro Smith, all those athletes saying that they won't play for Rush are a bunch "hypocrites" who are "lying through their teeth", and once that check is put in front of them they will all sign on the dotted line.

This is typical of the house Negro: he or she always assigns traits to others that they themselves possess. Stephen A. Smith would sign the check because he is a whore, and he can't believe that other black men would have the courage and the character to walk away from money in order to stand up for something which they believe in.

What Stephen and those of his ilk don't understand is that when they come out and openly chastise young black men who are trying to do the right thing, they play right into the hands of folks like this; folks who are all too willing to put up the black man disagrees with other black man headline.

And let me say something else about Mr. Smith which is a little more personal: He is an ego- maniacal jerk, and he tries to big-time people whenever they are fortunate enough to be in his presence. (Ugly suits and all) I know, because I have been in his presence a time or two. Stephen A. Smith is not a very good journalist, but he caught a break when the Philadelphia Inquirer hired his sorry ass. ESPN loved his big mouth and gave him some shine on their network, but that lasted about as long as you can say fraud. And now this clown is telling anyone who will listen that he is down with Rush but not the athletes who spoke out against him?
Negro please! Take your sorry ass and your fucked up haircut back to Winston- Salem with that bullshit. That big fat check Rush will slip you might go far down there.

Rush, Dr. Naismith would not be pleased.

"It's not reasonable that you should understand the insanity that local and state and federal bureaucracies are doing. It's perfectly normal and understandable that none of what they do would make sense to you. My question -- OK, a 1 cent sales tax to fight gang violence. What do you spend the money on to fight gang violence? Afterschool program -- don't we already have afterschool programs? Don't we already have -- what do you call it, extracurricular events? Midnight basketball -- I mean, we've done it all. We've taken the favorite sport of gangs, and we put it at midnight to get them on the basketball court. We had 100,000 new cops with Clinton -- we've done it all. And the problem still is out of control. Liberalism doesn't work. [So this is where unconstructive feedback has been getting his talking points.]

I'm gonna tell you what. If they're gonna raise the sales tax in this little -- Salinas, California, wherever you're talking about -- if they're gonna raise 1 cent sales tax to handle gang violence, then the money oughta go to the purchase of bulletproof vests for the law-abiding citizens when they leave their home."

That was the new voice of the republiklan party, Rush Limbaugh, on his radio program recently, bashing liberal programs as only he knows how: By playing the race card and tying liberal social policies to those scary minorities.

This is coming from a man who calls the NBA the "TBA" for "Thug Basketball Association". Well, our president loves basketball, does that mean that he is a "thug"? Or, that he is the member of a gang? I don't think so, unless you consider A-merry-can presidents gangsters.... alright I will leave that one alone.

I love the NFL, but if they let Rush get even a sniff of the Rams Football team who he happens to be trying to buy I swear that I would stop watching, "cold turkey". Just because you have money doesn't mean you should be able to get whatever the hell you want. Rush as an NFL owner? No way! This guy makes Al Davis look like an alter boy. I think I agree with Michael Wilbon when he says that a lot of owners think like Rush but they don't spew their bigoted and ignorant thoughts for millions of people to hear. Hey the NFL has lots of liberal and black fans, too. And even a black quaterback or two. I wonder if Rush became a part owner of the Rams if he would try to pick up "5" as his quarterback? ....Naaawww.

Do you Negroes want to be free?

I got an e-mail from Ben Dimiero of Media Matters hipping me to the latest wingnut whining about black people over the airwaves. The latest, some clown named Mark Davis, (Rush's fill in for the day) had a question for his conservative friends:

".. The caller then said that he'd never met one of these America-hating, flag burning liberals Davis and his colleagues keep talking about, and that he's actually seeing a lot of 'Obama Derangement Syndrome' out there, much like there was "Bush Derangement Syndrome" for the last eight years. Davis said the difference between ODS and BDS was not in the "vociferousness," but the "content."

Another break and Davis was back, explaining that 'there were people of all sizes, shapes, stripes, economic levels, and yes, races' at the tea party he hosted in Dallas. Davis added: 'I mean, did they tend to be pretty white? Yeah. Hang on, maybe talk shows of the future will deal not with the question of, you know, 'What is it we're doing that repels black people?' but 'Why aren't black people more attracted by liberty?' "

'Why aren't black people more attracted by liberty?' Seriously?"

Alright Mark, so you want to know why black people, in your mind, aren't "attracted to liberty?"
Let me see if I can answer your question in a tempered, coherent, and mellifluous way for you: (IwillnotcurseIwillnotcurseIwillnotcurseIwillnotcurseIwillnotcurseIwillnotcurseIwillnotcurse)

Actually Mark, black people are attracted to liberty. How could we not be? I mean it took us so long to get it from the likes of you, that I am pretty sure that we appreciate liberty even more than you and your tea bagging friends. It's just that we don't trust you and your ilk to insure that we keep whatever liberties we have. And we sure as hell don't trust or condone the tactics that you and your ilk have used in the past in your pursuit of liberty. But our men have died on battle fields and spilled their blood for you to enjoy your liberties. And many of those "black people" who you seem to have such disdain for have been lynched, beaten, and assassinated, so that you can enjoy your liberty in a country that you are not ashamed of.

But I think I get what you are saying Mark: black people support Obama in large numbers, and in your mind, Obama doesn't support liberty, therefore black people aren't "attracted to liberty." Now Mark, after considering your question, and your twisted logic for even posing it; I have a question for you: Why aren't far right conservatives attracted to education?
