Don't say it quite so, Joe.

Did you hear the one about the brotha who works for "the man" and got suspended from his job for stating the obvious about "the man"?

Williams, who is African-American, made the comments during a Thursday appearance on Martin Bashir's MSNBC program. During the appearance, Williams discussed how he believes Romney appears more "comfortable" appearing on Fox News Channel, as opposed to other outlets, and implied that race is a factor:
"Romney is very, very comfortable, it seems, with people who are like him. That's one of the reasons why he seems so stiff and awkward in town hall settings, why he can't relate to people other than that," Williams said during the appearance. "But when he comes on 'Fox and Friends,' they're like him. They're white folks who are very much relaxed in their own company."
In the announcement on Williams' suspension, Politico writes:
"Regrettably, an unacceptable number of Joe Williams's public statements on cable and Twitter have called into question his commitment to this responsibility," POLITICO's founding editors John Harris and Jim VandeHei wrote in a memo to the staff. "His comment about Governor Romney earlier today on MSNBC fell short of our standards for fairness and judgment in an especially unfortunate way." [Source]
Sorry Joe, we all know that what you said is true, but you work for "the man", and you just can't go stating uncomfortable truths on national television.

Just curious, did Glenn Beck get suspended for saying that Obama doesn't like white people and has a "deep seated hatred" for them? I know that he took some heat, but did his employer suspend him? "Field, Beck is not a journalist, Joe Williams works for a real news organization."  Oh yea, that's right Beck worked for FOX at the time.

Beck's statement was way more outrageous because Obama is half white. And, trust me; he is very comfortable around white people. You don't get to be president of these divided states of America if you are not. The flip side is, of course, that you can become president if you are not comfortable around Negroes. And if Romney wins he won't be the first; "color arousal" is something that has plagued American presidents throughout history.

Joe, hopefully you will get your job back real soon. There is a recession going on and no one can afford to be without work. Just be careful next time. Remember who you work for.

Politico is full of shit. They let people call The President and First Lady every name in the book and when someone like myself hits back, they receive an email stating that their post has been removed because it violated their terms. I just want to be treated like a wingnut with politico but I cant can't get no love.

Should I take this serious enough to provide a response? Hmmm.
He wasn't suspended because he worked for white people, another slanderous statement I might add, he was suspended for he himself making an indefensible racist remark.
In general, of course, everyone is more comfortable when with people of similar backgrounds and interests. At my office cafeteria, for the most part, people sit with others in their same department. Housekeepers sit with housekeepers, maintenance with maintenance and management with management.
Ya know I don't remember seeing any black people at the Van Halen concerts I used to go to. But I do now see whites attending rap concerts. Hmmm.
In high school the black students were welcome to sit anywhere, and don't ya know it they sat with other black kids. Hmmmm.

"He even went as far to say that Obama feels more comfortable around “Jews and whites” than around “free Black men” who he believes the president fears.
I think he does have a predilection much more toward upper-class white brothers and Jewish brothers and a certain distance from free black men who will tell him the truth about himself as well as what’s going on in black communities, brown communities, red communities and poor white and working-class communities."

White Guy, you said he was suspended for an "indefensible racist remark" , but then, in the next line, you write that people are more comfortable with their own. Isn't that what he said about Romney? The last time I checked he was white.

There are people Romney is comfortable around? Every time I've seen him, he looks like his skin is one size too small or someone just gave him a wedgie. He never looks comfortable. Joe Williams stated the obvious; it's just another example of conservatives not being able to handle reality.

These pathetic clowns murdered this hard-working but unlucky asian for $48 and were quickly arrested.

Another example of the complete incompetence of blacks. This kind of stupidity is unmatched by other races.

Update - Sixth person charged in delivery driver's murder

There's a photo with the news story, but the names of the suspects make their race apparent.

Clockwise from top left, Manije Daneek Johnson-Martin, Marvin Lee White, Rasheed Ramone Thompson and Cornell Dwayne Haugabook Jr. were charged in connection the the shooting death of Zhen Bo Liu.

By Brian Freskos

June 22, 2012

After shooting Zhen Bo Liu on a dark Wilmington street, the gunmen stole his food delivery of chicken wings and shrimp fried rice and shared the meal among their accomplices at a nearby house. After eating, they returned to view Liu's body and rummage through his car.

When police arrived on South 13th Street to begin their investigation into Liu's June 14 death, the only things missing from the 60-year-old delivery driver's vehicle was the order of food and $48 in cash.

As emerging details shed light on events investigators believe unfolded last week, Wilmington police on Friday announced the arrest of a sixth person accused of playing a role in planning the robbery that led to Liu's murder.

The new suspect, 16-year-old Nathaniel Lawrence, brings to six the number of people charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery for allegedly concocting a scheme to hold up a delivery driver. Two of those, 15-year-old Mustafaa Friend and 20-year-old Cornell Haugabook Jr., also face first-degree murder charges.

Beck isn't a journalist. He's a media personality. That's it.

"Field, Beck is not a journalist, Joe Williams works for a real news organization." Oh yea, that's right Beck worked for FOX at the time.

You really make an art of being dumb. As if an opinion-maker paid by a news organization is something odd.

... Obama is half white. And, trust me; he is very comfortable around white people.

Yeah. His closeness to Jeremiah Wright makes his whiteness stand out.

You don't get to be president of these divided states of America if you are not.

He got elected because foolish voters were willing to give the empty suit a chance. McCain, too old and too removed from a lot of issues, was the candidate for an unknown semi-black candidate with no apparent baggage to beat.

Now that Obama has four years of presidential failure on his record, voters know who he is and the level of his incompetence.

Field Negro, Ok but it's what he's implying, what he means by that. EVERYONE is more comfortable with their own. It's logical and natural and OBVIOUS. So why even say it? Because he's implying something. That being that Mitt is racist.
Where I work, I'm actually more comfortable with more blacks there, than whites. They have more class. My best friend there is a black woman, because we have the same senssbilities. My mother also happens to work for the same company and has lunch with that same black woman. It's not always about color.

Green energy? Hello. Liberals can't accept the proven results of capitalism. Hence the fix we are in.

Rappers have more in common with Mitt than Barack. JZ, Diddy, Rick Ross, Fifty, are hustlers. Romney is a hustler. In every rap video I see hustlers. Capitalists like Mitt Romney. Let's keep it real. C'mon, when did Barack have to hustle?

Yes Field, it's all part of the klan plan to redefine racism as "the pointing out of blatant racism and bigotry among and by while people." Just read your dedicated fascist / social darwinist commentariat to whom genetic racism is invariably truth, and truth is inevitably racism.

@Nan Jeremaih Wright was the President's Pastor. Pastor Wright's big mistake was watching and quoting FOX NEWS-if you watch the either clip instead of the Breitbart re-mix it is very clear! What amazes me is that in 2012 there are STILL double standards for evaluating performance!President Obama WORKED extremely hard to get through Columbia and Harvard, yet you call him an "empty suit" if you could fill a "suit" a tiny bit..well you would be something other than a monitor of this website.

No, because it's true, Obama does hate white people.

Take Obama's own words for it:

"I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother's race."

You have absolutely no basis for making that statement.

No one has ever seen any of Obama's transcripts or test scores, from Columbia or Harvard, nor from Occidental College or even Punahou high school.

He was druggie in high school but got into Occidental. He was a poor student at Occidental, but somehow got into Columbia. Not a single person who attended or taught at Columbia during the time Obama went there can remember him, but somehow he got into Harvard .

He was elected editor of the Harvard law review but became the first such editor never to publish anything.

His one non-governmental "job" was a short gig where he taught a constitutional law course at the University of Chicago, but his students complained that all he talked about was community organizing and the department professors "hated him because he was lazy, unqualified, never attended any of the faculty meetings, and it was clear that the position was nothing more than a political stepping stool."

As state senator, he was known for voting "present". He was US senator for all of 6 months before he started running for president, and needless to say, never mounted a single legislative initiative during his term.

As President, he so far has played over 100 rounds of golf.

So Joy, by all the evidence, Barack Obama has never "WORKED extremely hard" at anything. He hasn't even worked kind of hard. He is an absolute fraud.

Another white guy said...

Fraud or not, Obama has my vote. I don't really care how hard Romney worked at wrecking companies and throwing people out of work to make his millions.

I have nothing but contempt for modern day Republicans and I'm not throwing my vote away to the Communist or Green parties.
