Thanks, Doug. I read this article and it confirms what I have been saying for quite some time. American intelligence notified Trump of a possible pandemic back in November 2019, but obviously, he wasn't interested in doing anything to prepare for it.

Lower mortality percentage numbers might look good at first, but the fact that the virus is far more widespread than previously believed means more people will eventually get sick with it, and eradicating it in order to open the economy back up will be orders of magnitude more difficult.
