Is Waka Flocka Flame his brother's keeper?

Two boys with handguns joke around on a porch, in an photo uploaded by a friend of Robertson, Man Tezzy."I can't forget da southside
Can't forget riverdale
I can't forget the hit squad
1017 brick squad
Lebron flocka james
I go hard in da muhfuckin paint nigga...

What the fuck you thinkin nigga
I wont die for this shit or what the fuck i say (Brick Squad)
Front yard broad day wit da SK (ba ba ba ba ba ba bow)
See Gucci, thats my mothafuckin nigga
I hang in the Dale wit dem hit squad killers
Waka Flocka Flame one hood ass nigga
Ridin real slow bendin corners my nigga...

....Where you at? Where your trap? You aint hood, nigga
Keep this shit 300, put that shit on my hood
Crips fuckin wit me, G's and the Vice Lords (Brrrrrrrret)
Eses in the Meeko freestyle off da dome
Brick Sqaud Waka Flocka Flame its fuckin on!"

Too many young black men out here listen to rappers like Waka Flocka Flame and take his lyrics literally. It would be nice if they had parents at home who would take the time to teach them how to put things in its proper perspective and understand that in the real world, repping the "Southside" and hanging  in a trap house with paid killers and drug dealers is not how you make a life for yourself or your family.

A sad example of what I am referring to is this young child out of Memphis. His story is heartbreaking but all too familiar:

"A baby-faced Memphis teen posted shocking snaps of his wannabe thug lifestyle online just hours before being shot dead by his best pal as they played with a gun, police said.

Three boys show off a variety of weapons, including what appears to be an automatic rifle.Cartrail Robertson, 13, uploaded the gangster-style gallery - where he's seen holding a revolver he describes as a .357 Magnum, smoking pot and fanning wads of $100 bills - to Facebook on Monday.

But, in the early hours of Tuesday morning, he was allegedly gunned down by his 15-year-old friend Darrin Wilson.

Cops think the duo were playing with the weapon, at around 3 a.m. in another as yet unnamed friend's house, when it accidentally went off.

Officers are also analysing [sic] other images, uploaded by the duo and their other friends, where they throw out apparent gang signs and wave semi-automatic weapons."
{Source}

Folks, if you don't raise your kids the streets will raise them for you. And, sadly, it looks like the streets got a hold of Cartrail Robertson in just 13 quick years.

This story also had me thinking about the President's latest initiative to try and save young black men, or at least make the rest of us realize that some of them are out here and need saving.

This little thug wannabe was living the thug life complete with loaded pistols, drugs, liquor and money. (Look at the images with the link.)

Tragically, his own friend split his dome and his young life has sadly come to an end.

Yes, I am my "brother's keeper", but I also want the people who brought him here to get down with me and try to save him as well.

President Obama should not have to launch any kind of initiative to save young men like Cartrail Robertson. Where are his parents?

They are the ones we should be blaming for this tragedy. Not the streets. Not the president. And not Wacka Floka Flame.

Did he "Do The Right Thing"?

See Spike, now this is why white folks are so confused when it comes to you Negroes.

They move out of the urban areas and blow up suburbia, and you Negroes cry "white flight".

Now they are moving back to the cities and you Negroes don't want them around. Folks like Spike believe that "gentrification" is a dirty word. "Here comes whitey. There goes the neighborhood."

Anyway, my man let it be known in no uncertain terms that white folks are changing his beloved Brooklyn, and not for the better.

"Speaking Tuesday night in Brooklyn, blocks away from his company headquarters and his father’s apartment, Spike Lee went off on how the neighborhood has changed. The filmmaker, wearing a Knicks beanie, orange socks, blue Nikes, and "Defend Brooklyn" hoodie, was at Pratt Institute for a lecture in honor of African American History Month, surrounded by locals, when he was nearly asked a question about “the other side” of the gentrification debate. “Let me just kill you right now,” Lee interrupted, “because there was some bullshit article in the New York Times saying ‘the good of gentrification.’” (See: “Argument Over a Brownstone Neighborhood” and New York’s “Is Gentrification All Bad?”)

“I don’t believe that,” said Lee. And for the next seven minutes he explained, with passion, humor, and a fair amount of f-words.

Here’s the thing: I grew up here in Fort Greene. I grew up here in New York. It’s changed. And why does it take an influx of white New Yorkers in the south Bronx, in Harlem, in Bed Stuy, in Crown Heights for the facilities to get better? The garbage wasn’t picked up every motherfuckin’ day when I was living in 165 Washington Park. P.S. 20 was not good. P.S. 11. Rothschild 294. The police weren’t around. When you see white mothers pushing their babies in strollers, three o’clock in the morning on 125th Street, that must tell you something.
[Audience member: And I don’t dispute that … ]
Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. And even more. Let me kill you some more.
[Audience member: Can I talk about something?]
Not yet.
Then comes the motherfuckin’ Christopher Columbus Syndrome. You can’t discover this! We been here. You just can’t come and bogart. There were brothers playing motherfuckin’ African drums in Mount Morris Park for 40 years and now they can’t do it anymore because the new inhabitants said the drums are loud. My father’s a great jazz musician. He bought a house in nineteen-motherfuckin’-sixty-eight, and the motherfuckin’ people moved in last year and called the cops on my father. He’s not — he doesn’t even play electric bass! It’s acoustic! We bought the motherfuckin’ house in nineteen-sixty-motherfuckin’-eight and now you call the cops? In 2013? Get the fuck outta here!
Nah. You can’t do that. You can’t just come in the neighborhood and start bogarting and say, like you’re motherfuckin’ Columbus and kill off the Native Americans. Or what they do in Brazil, what they did to the indigenous people. You have to come with respect. There’s a code. There’s people.
You can’t just — here’s another thing: When Michael Jackson died they wanted to have a party for him in motherfuckin’ Fort Greene Park and all of a sudden the white people in Fort Greene said, “Wait a minute! We can’t have black people having a party for Michael Jackson to celebrate his life. Who’s coming to the neighborhood? They’re gonna leave lots of garbage.” Garbage? Have you seen Fort Greene Park in the morning? It’s like the motherfuckin’ Westminster Dog Show. There’s 20,000 dogs running around. Whoa. So we had to move it to Prospect Park!
I mean, they just move in the neighborhood. You just can’t come in the neighborhood. I’m for democracy and letting everybody live but you gotta have some respect. You can’t just come in when people have a culture that’s been laid down for generations and you come in and now shit gotta change because you’re here? Get the fuck outta here...." [Source]

Lord have mercy! Spike be mad!

Anyway, this is nothing new, this gentrification push back has been going on for awhile now, and it has sparked debates all over the country. Heck "Chocolate City' looks more like Latte City these days.

Here in Philly we have this issue as well. My friend Solomon Jones wrote an excellent article about it a few months back, and I tend to agree with some of his sentiments:

"I for one have never seen that as a fair exchange. When people have lived in a home for decades, investing in their community even as their neighborhood crumbled around them, they should be among the first to benefit when things improve. They shouldn’t be forced to leave."

What do you all think?

Not you, Spike. You have made yourself perfectly clear about this subject.

Joe's "Black Card", and Verizon gets ready for a stickup.

Oh lawd, Uncle Joe is at it again. My man made another rather colorful remark (pun intended) while talking to former NBA baller turned mayor, Kevin Johnson, at a Black History Month event.

Uncle Joe spoke about an old stereotype (not true, Google Chris Andersen or Bobby Sura when you get a chance) and a line from a famous movie, and conservatives are playing political gotcha and wondering why we (see black folks) aren't calling him a racist.

Well, here is why: Joe Biden has a "black card." Hey, don't blame me, that's just the way it is. Black folks have a racism meter, and certain folks set it off and certain folks do not. People like Joe Biden can get away with saying ignorant and uncomfortable s**t  about blacks folks because our gut doesn't tell us that he is a racist.

Black folks see a guy who is comfortable --and feels right at home-- in a church full of black folks on a Sunday morning. For the opposite effect see Bill O'Reilly at Sylvia's Restaurant. Total discomfort, and it shows. Our gut tells us that Billo is not comfortable around black folks, and our gut, nine times out of ten, is right about such things.

But I have a surprise for you Negroes, George Bush never set off my racism meter. I had a whole lot of issues with him as president, but him being a racist wasn't one of them. I feel that way about other republicans as well; the now deceased Jack Kemp and the very much alive Jon Huntsman comes to mind.
But they are in the minority on the right. The folks on the right, as most black folks will tell you, make our racism meter go crazy.

Finally, we all saw this coming; we just didn't know it would come this soon.

Apple iPhone Becomes Available Through Verizon WirelessThe CEO of Verizon is setting us up for the corporate stickup that is sure to follow.

He wants heavier broadband users to pay more for the service. Because, according to him, it is not fair for the poor folks who hardly use it to be paying the same as heavy users.

Well here is a thought Mr. CEO Man: Why don't you charge those "poor people" less money and leave the folks who you are already gouging the f**k alone?

We already pay a higher price for our ISP streaming services and faster Internet service, so why are you trying to rip us off even more?

But I blame the FCC and a clueless Supreme Court for all of this. And sadly, I fear it will get worse before it gets better.

Still, judging from the comments after one Yahoo article, I think that folks are starting to wake up.

"Simpl----

What good is the FCC if this is allowed to happen? They're going to charge the providers of streaming, like Netflix, to carry their stuff, and then they're going to charge the end users more to get it? Talk about double dipping. I guess now that they've offshored everything that can be offshored, they're running out of ways to keep bringing in big profits, so now corporations are going to start feeding off each other, while, of course, they continue to dangle the consumer upside down to shake every dime out of our pocket. "

John---

This is absolutely INSANE and another milestone in how despicable and disgusting corporate greed is and how much it is getting out of control. Burden the cost? Um, I already have to pay for the speed that my connection gets, now you want me to pay more to use it? I don't always have control over the garbage that comes down the pipe such as video advertisements and other nonsense. The content provider is already paying for their connection too, so your goal here is to have us pay to connect, pay more for our speed and

Phillips- ---

The core of this problem is the fact that the FCC has no legal right to regulate Cable, Fiber, or internet services. They can only regulate the copper phone lines for phone service. As most folk now know, the future is high speed data. Not the phone. If the FCC is not given the power to regulate these other providers, then they will have free reign to pretty much charge what they want, when they want, and limit who can see what. Comcast already set an agreement to charge Netflix to use their service"

Mr. McAdam should have worn a mask in that picture.

Lucky Marcus.

Can you imagine who much injustice could have been prevented if we had things such as dash-cams back in the day to keep the po po in check?

Thankfully we have them now. And instead of time spent behind bars (like so many black men out here), Marcus Jeter is a free man, and it is the officers that arrested him who are facing charges.

"As soon as they opened the door, one officer reached in and punched me in my face. As he's trying to take off my seat belt, I'm thinking, 'Something is going to go wrong.'"

Jeter says the cops continued hitting him, telling him not to resist arrest.
"And when they open the [police cruiser] door, about to put me in, the officer hits me in the back of the head again," Jeter said.

The incident began when police responded to a domestic violence call at the Bloomfield home Jeter shares with his girlfriend. No charges were filed, and Jeter says he left after briefly talking to officers.

Police followed, trailing him along the Garden State Parkway. Dash-cam video shows Jeter pulling over and stopping on the highway shoulder.
The two officers pulled out guns.

Jeter didn't get out of the car. He was afraid.

"There was a cop on my left with a gun pointed at me, a cop on the other side with a shotgun," he said.

The video that was not initially turned over -- from the dashboard of a second police cruiser -- shows a third officer coming from the opposite direction, crossing the median and striking Jeter's car. That incident was not mentioned in any police reports related to the arrest.

As soon as prosecutors saw the second video, they dismissed all of the charges against Jeter.

A grand jury has since indicted two Bloomfield police officers -- Orlando Trinidad and Sean Courter -- on various charges, including conspiracy and official misconduct.

Trinidad was also charged with aggravated assault. Both officers have pleaded not guilty.

The third officer pleaded guilty to tampering. [Source]

Those prosecutors better not be lying about seeing that video tape, because, if they did, that is grounds for prosecutorial misconduct as well.

Speaking of misconduct, have you all seen the video with the poor dude in the Bronx, who broke no laws, and who was just minding his business on a winter day when all hell broke loose?

Watch the video here and tell me what you think.

Honestly, it's hard to watch, because we all know that if that stranger wasn't there with his camera phone rolling that poor dude would have gotten the serious Rodney King treatment.

He got it hard enough as it is, but believe me, it could have been worse

The video tape might have saved the day once again.

Racial slurs and men behaving badly.

I still can't believe what a bunch of wimps and cowards the suits over at the NFL have turned out to be.

So now comes a rule which penalizes players for calling each other the N-word, because, as they say, it's the right thing to do. But they are too coward and afraid of a powerful owner to demand that the football team in Washington D.C. change their name.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has declared that the term "Redskin" is derogatory, Native Americans say it is offensive to them, and yet, the clowns in the NFL office continue to treat us like we are stupid when it comes to this issue.

“The Washington Redskins name has … from its origin represented a positive meaning distinct from any disparagement that could be viewed in some other context,” Goodell wrote. “For the team’s million of fans and customers, who represent one of America’s most ethnically and geographically diverse fan bases, the name is a unifying force that stands for strength, courage, pride and respect.”

That, my friends, was pure bull s**t!

Finally, I want to write about men behaving badly a little bit.

I will start with the aforementioned NFL, where a star running back from the Baltimore Ravens has been charged with knocking down his fiancé and dragging her through a hotel lobby.

If true, (and I have every reason to believe that it is, because videos don't lie) the NFL has to act and send a very strong message that this will not be tolerated.

And then there is this frightening story coming out of upstate New York about a couple of really sick dudes.

"Two upstate New Yorkers have been caught making sick animal porn movies with a herd of cows, police claim.

Michael Jones, 35, allegedly did the dirty deed with the bovine beasts in Herkimer County while best pal Reid Fontaine, 31, filmed the entire sordid encounters.

They were busted, however, when the farmer started to wonder why his animals weren't producing as much milk as usual.

Michael H. Jones, 35, and Reid A. Fontaine, 31, were charged with sex crimes against several cows after a farmer installed video surveillance in his barn to find out why his cows weren't producing milk, state police said. The farmer wondered why his cows weren't producing as much milk as they normally did, so he set up cameras, catching Jones and Fontaine in their alleged abuse.

He set up surveillance cameras, and soon discovered the pair were making out with his cows.

The farmer, who has not been identified, called the cops who launched their own investigation.

Jones, of Illion, and Fontaine, of address unknown, were arrested for misdemeanor sexual misconduct..." [Source]

Now I am a huge Libertarian when it comes to personal conduct, but my lord! Cows?!

I blame the Internet and the lack of interpersonal and social contact out here in the world. These poor dudes might just have a hard time trying to relate to other human beings on a sexual level.

This next guy seems to be trying to relate to actual humans, but we actually wish that he wasn't.

"A supervisor at a Minnesota nursing home reportedly branded an 89-year-old rape victim a “flirt” who teased her 30-year-old attacker “mercilessly.”

The supervisor defended the rapist, even after he admitted to sex with the elderly woman and was arrested, according to court papers.

“Did she tell you that this was consensual?” the home’s clinical services director Marilyn Moore reportedly told a nurse examiner who inspected the woman. “Did she tell you that she flirts with this boy mercilessly?”

The shocking allegations were reported by the Star Tribune, citing court documents tied to a lawsuit against the Edgewood Vista facility in Hermantown.
The woman was locked in a psychiatric ward for nearly three days after she reported the attack, according to the documents." [Source]

I need a drink.

Some random thoughts.

So my wife bought a very nice house coat from a popular department store.

She brought it home, tried it on, and get this: there was a small Pentecostal bible in the pocket. What's up with that? I wanted to call the store and make an issue of it, but wifey said to leave it alone. She was not as offended about it as I was.

Personally, I can't stand when folks proselytize to me. I don't care what form it takes.

The world is a cold place. A woman who has been missing from her home since early this month was found in her car by the Amtrak train station here in Philly.

The poor thing was found dead in her car that had been parked on city streets for a few days. (It was even towed to its current location for snow removal) There were numerous tickets on the car window compliments of our infamous parking authority.

Folks are wondering how she wasn't noticed. To be fair, her back windows were tinted, and there was snow on the windshield.

But still, you would think that somebody would have noticed her.

I am still trying to figure out this NFL 15 yard N-word penalty. I know that Rev. Al and some older African Americans like the idea, but I am someone in the "old- head" camp who doesn't necessarily think it's such a great idea.

Grown as men should be able to control themselves and refrain from using that word under these conditions. Particularly if you are of the Caucasian persuasion. (No white folks, you can't say it. I know that we say it to each other, but get over it.) Are you going to flag a black player for calling another black player the N-word as well?

Look, I despise hateful language as much as the next guy, but we really have to be careful how and when we choose to regulate morality and decency.

These players will find a way to police themselves. They did it with Riley Cooper last year.

And staying with the NFL, some current players are wondering how they will handle a Gay teammate in the locker room. Sadly, 14% of them are not cool with the idea of playing with an openly Gay teammate. The good news is that an overwhelming majority of players are cool with it.

Honestly, some of you cats need to get over yourselves.

I had a Gay dude tell me that he found me attractive and I was flattered. It's not like dude is going to jump your bones in the shower. If he knows you don't roll that way he will leave you alone. But if you find that he is attracted to you enjoy the compliment and keep it popping.

Speaking of keeping it popping, I am not sure I see the big deal about this Duke University freshman moonlighting as a porn star. It's not like we are talking about BYU here.

Sixty thousand a year is no joke, and if being a porn star is how girlfriend comes up with her annual tuition, I say she should go on an utilize her...ahem, ahem, skills, in whatever way she sees fit. As long as she is not breaking any laws and is maintaining her grades I am cool with it.

Finally, some of you Negroes need Jesus. Wait... this Negro was actually preaching the word.

"An Atlanta area minister was sentenced to ten years in prison by a Clayton County judge on Friday.

Craig Davis had denied everything: the sex outside his marriage and even his positive HIV status -- until now.

However, this week, a Clayton County jury convicted him on two counts of Reckless HIV, which is a felony.  In his sentence hearing, one of the church women who says she had sex with Davis told the judge that she's "the one serving a life sentence."

In the hearing, the prosecutor painted Davis as "unrepentant" and when it comes to unprotected sex, unstoppable. But the hearing took a turn right before the sentence was handed down -- Davis took the stand in a last minute plea for mercy.

The pastor confessed that he was HIV and that he had engaged in unprotected sex without telling the women of his status. He also confessed that he believed his actions were 'wrong.'

Davis was sentenced to ten years in prison and ten years on probation. If he commits another crime or contacts the victims, authorities were append an addition ten years to his sentence."  [Source]

I bet this Negro had a nice bible.

Another Negro pisses off Ted.

The GOP's favorite son, Ted Nugent, has been all over the news lately. The folks over at CNN are really upset at Pedophile Teddy, and, like MSNBC with "Christiegate", and FOX Views with Benghazi, they will not let it go.

Ted, of course, is fighting back. Now he is going after Don Lemon. This makes sense, because Don Lemon has the highest profile of any black person on CNN.
And in case you didn't notice, Teddy doesn't like black folks too much.

"Unable to leave well enough alone, Ted Nugent took to Twitter on Friday evening to bash Don Lemon presumably after viewing the segment in which the CNN host accused the rocker of giving a disingenuous apology for his “sub-human mongrel” Obama remarks.

Speaking with Ben Ferguson this afternoon, Lemon suggested Nugent’s apology came with too many caveats and sounded “like he’s apologizing to himself or, possibly, to powerful Republicans who might have gotten him to take it back and do it fast.”

“If @DonnLemmon [sic] is a journalist Im the prez of the NAACP,” Nugent wrote on Twitter....

If @DonnLemmon is a journalist Im the prez of the NAACP" [Source]

OK Ted, we get it, you are certifiably nuts. Now the big question is this: How many more GOP supporters are out there like you?

Finally, I am not sure if I am happy or sad to learn that the noose found around the neck of the statue of a civil rights icon at the University of Mississippi was put there by members of a well respected college fraternity.

It's a good thing because it is not a hoax. This is good because when people lie about these things it diminishes and trivializes the real racism out here.

It's a bad thing because you would think that college educated young people would be too smart to embrace the ignorance that is usually reserved for your garden variety racist.

The three former members already face vandalism charges, but the university has also turned over its evidence to state and federal authorities. If it is determined that the noose — which was accompanied by an old Georgia flag bearing the emblem of the confederacy — represented a threat to other students, they could face hate crime charges.

The man who found the vandalized statue last Sunday said that two men walking away from the scene were uttering racial epithets. “I came up on a couple younger-looking boys by the loading dock that were yelling ‘white power’ and ‘f— n—–s’ on my way back over towards the statue,” he said. “When I rounded the corner of (the George Street House), I noticed the rope and the flag, and it definitely showed the Confederate flag.”

Just frat boys being frat boys.

Some revolutions are going to be televised, and some will not.

The people are taking it to the streets in Kiev, and there are parts of that city that looks like a war zone. It should, because a war zone is what it has become. Over seventy people have lost their lives so far in this "uprising" and I am not sure that a peaceful resolution to the entire mess is coming anytime soon.

Of course, as is to be expected, the right wing and their minions are calling the president things such as "naive,"  "weak", and "feckless". (I swear John Bolton looks like he has little children buried away in his basement.) They want more action in places like Kiev and Syria, and they are tired of America just standing on the sidelines while the people in the Ukraine and Syria fight each other to the bitter end.

But let's not lose sight of the fact that this is what most of the American people want. They are sick and tired of wars, and unless you can show them that war is a shared sacrifice, it's going to make it hard for those in charge to convince the American people that it (war) is needed to protect them anymore.

Now I would actually take sides with my wingnut friends if they would condemn this administration for not paying enough attention to the upheaval in Nigeria or the crisis in the Democratic Republic of Congo. I mean the Nigerian military is killing civilians as well. But this revolution, unlike others, will not be televised.

Right now in Nigeria there is a serious religious conflict taking place over land between Muslims and Christians, and no one in America is paying attention to it. Not the government. Not the press. Not the people.

Is it only regional conflicts and revolutions in Europe and the Middle East that should warrant our attention? Why isn't John McCain on Sunday talk shows talking about strife in Third World countries involving black people? Why isn't Peggy Noonan writing about the administration's failure to speak out about the atrocities taking place in Central Africa? Why, instead, is she telling us to choose sides between a repressive government and ultra right wing groups in Ukraine? These are rhetorical questions; I know why.

Anyway, Ben Affleck might not be the greatest actor in the world, but bless his heart for using his star power to try and turn America's limited attention span to places like the Congo.

Here is what he wrote back in November:

"Last week, a heavily armed rebel militia, M23, took control of the eastern Congolese city of Goma, the economic center and capital of the country’s North Kivu province. Unfortunately, to those of us who work in eastern Congo, the only surprise in this turn of events was how little attention it received.

Two years ago, almost to the day, I wrote in The Post about the bloodiest war since World War II and its continued toll on the Congolese people. From 1998 to 2003, eight African nations fought on Congolese soil, killing millions, forcing tens of thousands of children to become soldiers and, in some areas of Congo, subjecting as many as two of every three women to rape and other forms of sexual violence. Violence continued long after combatants agreed on a cease-fire. With regional war looming once again, it is time for the United States to act."

Not going to happen, Ben. You would have a better chance of landing an Academy Award for your role in Gigli.

"Et tu" Scott Walker ?

The next presidential election is a couple of years away, and, as of now, the two most attractive republican candidates probably wish that it was further away than that.

Not to be outdone by Chris Christie, Scott Walker has also entered the world of political scandal and intrigue.

"When it comes to political corruption, New Jersey and Wisconsin are rarely mentioned in the same sentence. But a raft of emails released by a state appeals court judge Wednesday have Badger State governor Scott Walker facing some of the same questions as his embattled Garden State counterpart, Chris Christie.

Even if Walker is not eventually implicated of any wrongdoing, the documents released Wednesday, as well as other information arising from a pair of criminal cases related to his rise from Milwaukee County Executive to Governor of Wisconsin raise some troubling questions about his choice of personnel and his awareness  -- or lack thereof -- of what was going on in his own office.

Much has been written and said about Walker as the Republican reformer who successfully beat back labor unions over collective bargaining in a blue state and handily survived a recall election that positioned him for a possible run for president in 2016.  Until now, however, there has been relatively little attention paid – outside Wisconsin – to the criminal conduct of many who surrounded him.

The more than 25,000 pages of e-mails released on Wednesday were gathered as part of a now-concluded investigation that led to conviction of Kelly Rindfleisch, a former Walker deputy chief of staff, on charges that she essentially worked as a campaign staffer for a Republican candidate for lieutenant governor while on the clock in Walker’s office." [Source]

I will give it to these republican governors; they sure know how to cover their tracks. Right now there is a lot of smoke but no fire. So, for now, Scott Walker and Chris Christie will live to see another political day. For now.

Let's see where these investigations take us. If they take us all the way to 2016, Jeb, Ted, and Rand will be cheering the loudest.

Finally, one of the two black jurors in the Dunn case has come forward to say that race was not a factor in the way that they deliberated and came up with a verdict.

"'I never once thought about, ‘Oh, this was a black kid, this was a white guy.’ Because that was – that wasn’t the case,' juror number 8, aged 21, told CNN reporter Alina Machado.

'So, for people who say, you know, here’s another white guy who got away with shooting and killing a black kid, what would you tell them?..'

'I would tell them that they really should knowledge themselves on the law,' Miles replied.

“If this case wasn’t about race for you, what was it about?' the CNN reporter followed up.

'It was about justice,' juror number 8 responded" [Source]

Lord have mercy! Some of these Negroes really need a clue. Lady, you tell us that we need to "knowledge" ourselves about the law, but I dare say that maybe it's you who needs to get some knowledge about where you live and the people you live around.

You can't see what is in the hearts or minds of your fellow jurors, so you can't sit on national television and declare that race did not play a role in the verdict.

I mean did you honestly expect one of the white jurors to openly declare that there is no way that they can convict a white man of shooting a black teenager when they totally empathize with what he must have been feeling?

N****r please!

A racist is exposed, and the South is slowly rising again.

For a perfect example of how some people can hide their racism, look no further than Frank Taaffe. He is the so called expert who appeared with Nancy Grace during the Zimmerman and Dunn trials to give his insight into those killings.

Now I don't know who gets these guys to be talking-heads on cable news shows, but we probably should be careful who we legitimize by putting on main stream television.

Turns out that Mr. Taaffe is a virulent racist, who has made no bones about making his feelings known in the past. (Kind of like our boy Ted Nugent.)

"Before Taaffe was a talking head on HLN, he was probably best known for hosting “Standing Our Ground,” a white-supremacist podcast that took on such important issues as when it’s OK for white people to use the “n-word.” Liberal think tank Political Research Associates did the brave work of going through the podcast’s archives and came up with a clip of Taaffe repeatedly calling Oprah Winfrey a “n*gger.”

While his co-host did not think it was “appropriate” to use that word to describe the media mogul, Taaffe did not hesitate.
'Yeah, she’s a n*gger because she keeps spewing out all that bullshit. She goes over to Switzerland and she says that the lady didn’t want to share a handbag because she thought that she couldn’t afford it, and she keeps just doing what she’s doing. She keeps stirring the pot. She keeps trying to promote her boy Obama. You know, Obama could do no wrong. You know, it’s birds of a feather, they flock together and stick together, and to me, she’s a n*gger. Oprah Winfrey’s a n*gger. She ain’t a n*gga, she’s a n*gger.”
So, now you know just a little bit more about the man that HLN has on its new programs, defending men who shoot and kill black teenagers." [Source]

Finally, I have always enjoyed visiting Atlanta. (Visiting) I have friends there, and it's a nice enough place to visit. (Visit) After my stay, I invariably hop on over to Hartsfield and fly the friendly skies home.

A couple of stories out of the state where Atlanta is located has solidified my position that it is a nice place to visit. (Visit)

Sorry my friends, unfortunately Atlanta is in the state of Georgia.

"A Georgia teenager was fatally shot by a cop last Friday. She claimed he pointed a gun at her, eyewitnesses said he was just holding a Wii remote, which very much does not look like a gun. Christopher Roupe was at home when a police officer knocked on the door to serve warrant to his dad for probation violation.

And witnesses said when Roupe opened the door, he was holding a Wii remote and the officer immediately shot him in the chest.

One neighbor said that he saw the officer “sobbing” in front of the house after she shot Roupe. He said that “supposedly, [Roupe] opened the door with a BB gun,” but it just looked like he was playing Wii inside with his friends.

The officer in question, who is not being identified publicly, has been placed on administrative leave." [Source]

That is not cool. A damn kid can't even play in his home without being shot and killed by the po po who lack proper training.

And you Negroes in Georgia better get ready to be pissed off as you make your daily commute. Those good ole boys are going to make the South rise again if it kills them.

"Georgia officials have once again approved a specialty license plate featuring the Confederate battle flag, infuriating civil rights advocates and renewing a debate among those who believe the symbol honors Confederate heritage and

those who see it as racially charged.

The Georgia division of the Sons of Confederate Veterans requested the new plate design, and the Georgia Department of Revenue recently approved it. The group's old plate had a small Confederate battle flag. The new one features an additional, larger image in the background that covers the entire plate.

Spokesman Ray McBerry said the group meant no offense and views the plates as a way for people to honor their heritage.

"We believe that everyone has the right to preserve their heritage," he said. "Southerners have as much right to be proud of their heritage as anybody else.'" [Source]

Imagine the outrage if a German living in New York was granted the privilege of having a specialty license plate featuring the swastika.

Of course the Germans, bless their hearts, have actually outlawed the symbol in Germany.

We could learn a lot from those Germans here in America.
