One of my friends objects to calling the Trumpists "fascists". He says, if these were real fascists, we'd already be under the iron grip of their ruthless terrorism. Well, all right, call them failed fascists, so far. Or 'authoritarians', it checks off all the boxes. You can be pedantic, if you wish, and say that Fascism and Trumpism are distinct subsets of Authoritarianism.

If one looks for the definition of fascists, there is no mention of their having to be successful in order to qualify for the label. Therefore, I conclude as you did, that he/she is mistaken. Trump is the personification of fascism in all its ugly manifestations, and his supporters are fascists.

What you have described is totalitarianism: "a system of government that is centralized and dictatorial and requires complete subservience to the state." In democratic republics, the people vote and chose the men and women who represent them in government.
Communism, socialism, and capitalism are economic systems that regulate how wealth is distributed. There are many democratic republics that distribute wealth in a more equitable way than countries that are totally capitalistic.
Just because Khrushchev predicted something that doesn't make it true. Look at the Russia today. There is no more Soviet Union; they have proved that communism doesn't work. But the government is still totalitarian. And Khrushchev is long dead. So just who won that one? We did.
Of the eight points in your post; 1, 2, 3, 6, and 8 are right out of the Republicans' play book. Look at the economic record of the country and you will see that Republicans cut taxes and spend like drunken sailors, and Democrats reduce the debt when they are in power. Furthermore, the general economy and the stock market do better under Democrats as well. So look at what party was in power leading up to the great depression. It wasn't the Democrats. Look at what party was in power leading to the great recession of 2007. Once again, it wasn't the Democrats.
Here's what you don't understand: If you want to have an economy without any socialism, you must close all public schools, disband the military, abandon all government agencies such as Air Traffic Control, the FDA which protects our food supply, stop maintaining all roads and bridges throughout the nation, disband all police and fire departments, and destroy the Social Security program. Trump's RCP average is 39.3 and would be about one percentage point lower without the outlier from Rasmussen. I think this is about right, since Maga participants are less likely to lie to pollsters when the question involves job approval than when reporting who they will vote for..

So you are dismissing all the gender research with one sweep? How scientific is that? And you have not produced a single source to support your opinions.
And by the way, can you report any factual incidents in which transgender individuals molested anyone, or committed any crimes in a rest room? Most children are molested by relatives, not strangers, so I don't see how persecuting transgender people keeps children or anyone else more safe.

As part of ongoing criminal investigations into the January 6 Capitol riots, the Federal Bureau of Investigation is following up on a tip claiming that a Pennsylvania woman, who is seen in videos inside the Capitol, stole a laptop or hard drive from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office with the intention of selling it to Russia.
The FBI is seeking Riley June Williams for her alleged involvement in the Capitol riots on charges of entering a restricted building and disorderly conduct, according to an affidavit signed Sunday.
The agency is also investigating a claim made by a “former romantic partner” of Williams that she stole a laptop or harddrive from Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office with the intention of selling it to a Russian intelligence agency.
Williams “intended to send the computer device to a friend in Russia, who then planned to sell the device to SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service,” the witness said, adding that the transfer “fell through for unknown reasons.”
The witness said Williams still has the computer or has destroyed it and the agency states that the “matter remains under investigation.”
It is not clear whether the FBI has managed to arrest Williams and the affidavit reports that she appears to have “fled” having packed a bag, deleted her social media accounts and “told her mother she would be gone for a couple of weeks.”
Amid the horrifying reports of rioters storming the Capitol on January 6, images of a pro-Trump mob accessing official computers prompted particular concern from security experts. A spokesperson for Pelosi said a laptop “only used for presentations” had been stolen from the speaker’s conference room
