They campaigned on exposing the "deep state" and wacko conspiracy theories, and now that their "dear leader" is a part of the "deep state" himself, he is telling them to move on, nothing to see here. Pam Bondi promised to release the Epstein files, but I am quite sure that when she saw that her boss was (allegedly) on some of those lists, she changed her tune. Funny how that works. Careful what you wish for MAGA world, you might not like what is behind the curtain.
Now Trump is threatening to sue the Wall Street Journal for an article which further outlined the friendship between himself and Epstein. The Journal is sticking to their guns, and I am pretty sure that the they dotted all of their i's and crossed their t's before going to print. Besides, let's not lose sight of the fact the owner of the Journal, Rupert Murdoch, helped to create Donald Trump with his FOX News propaganda machine. Why turn on him now? Well, I suspect that the truth is just smacking them in the head and there is no escaping it. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses and move on.
The thing about this latest scandal with Epstein is that there is nothing here that we did not suspect about Mr. Trump all along. America knew about his sordid past with young girls and his despicable behavior towards his former and current wife, and still they elected him. This Epstein saga is just reminding us of who this guy really is. A lot of the people who voted for him are probably just wishing that it goes away.

It seems like the Republican solution would be to pass laws discriminating against the people they hate, rather than general gun restrictions. They’re just out and proud fascist bigots at this point; not even pretending to believe in equality under the law anymore.
So it wouldn’t surprise me to, at some point, see Congress pass a “No Trannies With Guns Act” or a “Disarm The Criminal Blacks Act.” Nor would it even surprise me that much to see SCOTUS uphold such a law — the wingnuts on the court are very obviously not huge fans of the 14th Amendment.
